I am upset with how poor and slow my case have been handled by the clinical system. I was scheduled for a sleep study in the end of July and after I have done it, I received a phone call from the nurse telling me that the physician will be on leave for 3 weeks and the next appointment wont be before 3-4 weeks. I cannot express how frustrating it was hearing this. I believe this should have been communicated with me before I do the test, I could at least be referred to another physician who is available or I would have decided to do it in another clinic to receive a faster treatment. What a waste of time. Its been 5 weeks since Ive done the sleep study which reported severe sleep apnea, the follow up was just 1 week ago and Im still without treatment for 5 weeks despite having a potentially life threatening condition, and there is no update whatsoever from the clinic.Do I need to mention I have chronic depression this had caused my condition to worsen? I seriously cannot express howfrustrated and desperate I felt throughout this whole time. I dont think Cleveland are maintaining the good image of theirs.

Emergency Room was terrible. My husband was almost fainting due to food poisoning yet they prioritized other people who came before us. I begged and the woman at the reception couldn’t care less- (white woman)- she was very rude as well.Cleveland change your Emergency receptionist to someone more capable of speaking to patients, decent enough to hear concerns and who is not rude.

Very irresponsible management attitude towards resolving patient issues and complaints. They made a mistake with one of my tests and gave me the wrong test. I paid for it . When the mistake was discovered , they would not address the issue and did not reimburse me or repeat the test . They lied to me saying they would resolve the issue and would call me . Their behaviour in addressing this issue of medical error has been very unprofessional. I would never trust them to handle any of my tests or test results ever again. They seem to have fired the doctor but did nothing to correct the situation for the patient. They are not to be trusted all they care about is money.Cleveland hospital replied below that they would contact me to resolve the issue provided I email them. I did email them but they didn’t do a thing! What would it take to make them address their mistake and do the right thing , I have no clue!!!

I frequent Cleveland Clinic for a variety of healthcare needs.Some of the visits I had were to the ER, the neurology department, ophthalmology, and physical therapy.The doctors I have interacted with along with the nurses were compassionate and a pleasure to deal with. Appointments are normally on time, or with a maximum delay of 15 minutes. Exceptions occur of course, but they are few and far in between.The four instead of five star review is only due to the difficulty in actually getting an appointment. Unfortunately the wait times for a suitable appointment slot are long, with some specialities being longer than 2 months. I wish appointments were more accessible. For instance, I have been waiting for a suitable dental appointment for months. However, I would much rather know this upfront than show up and keep waiting to see the health practitioner for hours due to over booking. Also, depending on the time you visit the pharmacy, you may experience long wait times.I must mention that I am especially happy about the level of care I get from Elif in Physical Therapy. She is compassionate, offers personalized solutions, and makes what would be a very uncomfortable visit a pleasant one. I wish more healthcare professionals would take the time she takes in ensuring her patient is comfortable while delivering effective care to manage their pain. I would come in from another Emirate if I needed to just to avoid missing an appointment.It would be remiss of me not to mention Kristina, also in Physical Therapy. As our sessions were nearing their end, she took the initiative to identify where I could benefit the most and contacted Elif for support. I do not believe I would have been able to benefit from Elif’s care had it not been for Kristina’s personal interest to help out. She also provided me with exercises that helped relieve some of the pain I experienced.

Perhaps one of the best, if not the best, healthcare institutions in the entire region. CCAD is a gold standard in the UAE and were very blessed with the level of quality and healthcare we receive. The treatment of the doctors and caregiver staff is exceptional - its as if youre in a hotel but with expert medical care. With the number of patients they receive a day, one can only imagine how they manage to maintain the standard of premium healthcare, keeping in mind the empathy and compassion they show. That makes a huge difference. Were blessed to have CCAD in the UAE. I can remember a time when CCAD didnt exist, I certainly can and will never go back to anything less than what they deliver. Theyve set the standard. Exceptional.

Theyre hiring kids to deal with guests at the reception. Very rude and don’t know how to deal with patients’ families. First they should understand that theyre working in a hospital, people are worried and mentally occupied so in that case they shouldve know how to talk properly! What about the β€œtickets” given to visitors where are we living in 1960s ? You can get this visiting ticket from a small kiosk full of teenage girls who are loud. Very sad to see such facilities and name with this kind of management.

Great hospital and even great doctors. Thoroughly impressed by the professionalism, their diagnostics and facilities. But the experience with their pharmacy, on ongoing basis for last 3 months, has been horrible.Getting hold of our kids medicine, through pharmacy, is a shear disaster and worst possible experience. We have been going through this agony for the last 3 months, and despite registering complains over the phone there has been ZERO progress. Our kid has this eye drop which expires every 2 weeks and it is supposed to be provided without interruption. But every single week, my wife has to spent at least 2 hours of continuous follow up for 3-4 days to ensure the medicine preparation and delivery is confirmed. Such a shame to see this kind of behavior from pharmacy where they have β€œno ownership” and no regard for their customers. In this week too, since Thursday we have been trying hard to connect for eye drops confirmation but to no avail.Hope the managers/staff takes this up seriously to provide the right resolution. Looking forward to a quick resolution.

Cleveland is best of class in all departments . My relative had a surgery there & everybody from Admin, Finance, Neuro & ICU department was the best in class. This is not the case when it comes to the laboratory department. We requested Parafin block from the department . It’s more than one month from the surgery date but till today they have not responded . I had talked to Customer care 3 times for the same subject but the answer is always the same that Laboratory department will call me. I am sure something is seriously wrong & Cleveland is hiding from the patient. If no reply given by Cleveland we are going make a complaint to DHA(Dubai Health Authority). Thank youBREapen

To be honest the worst medical Service I have been experienced and Cleveland hospital in Abudhabi a Reem Island in addition to that that the worst call center and taking appointment ever experienced to we are so shy to find such experience or such communication in the capital of United Arab Emirates, The call center representative does not have a communication skills which is forcing me to go to a certain doctor and I’m not allowed to change the doctor even if I want in case that I force them and I wanted to change the doctor the other doctor have the authority to reject my appointment I refuse to see me either to wait for the long appointment. Not recommended , they used to have good doctors and nurses , only few good Medical staff remains with them most of good drs , nurses left them , management started cutting cost in drs and nurses at the end it comes on patients shoulder ,one nurse serving 6 rooms nurses under pressure not able to give good care to patient,after chasing them several times word to come and give you Medicine or medical services , you have to ask them 3 times about your request and keep following up , Emergency department 2 drs only for the whole department you need to wait long time till they assign you adoctor , no proper coordination between drs and nurses were you will end up getting wrong medicine dose or not registered in system they have many errors , ground floor visiting reception staff some of them are rude , i see people most of the time shouting on them , you can feel that there is no proper management system in this hospital ,the only good thing in this hospital rather than the old few medical staff is the sea view from the room and the facilities, cafe , restaurant , it’s like 5* hotel but medical services is 2* ., when ever you give your feed back as unhappy patient management will start to apologize by saying sorry this is what they know only, ,no actions , no plans , the patients experience department is a joke , the feedback card that you put it in the suggestion box is a joke they don’t take it seriously to develop they are lost somewhere .

I am astounded that Clinic uses kiosk self check in. Let’s just let sick people touch screens and then others touch them and get sick too. It makes no sense for a medical facility to use this method of check in, especially now during COVID And in cold/flu season. I’m sure kiosk check in is cheaper than hiring people to do check in it Clinic had the money to do this. They refuse to be held responsible for their (lack of) actions on people in middle class or lower, they only care about the people who will give them money!

PARKING!!Huge hospital but the parking is the worst thing ever.Imagine that u booked an appointment and u waited 3 months for it and when u reach the hospital it took 20 mins to try finding parking ( if u found one) it will be very far away from the entrance ( ONE entrance for the whole parking area )!!!!I end up parking at the valet for 100aed !!! I came personally to the hospital to inquire Executive Health Check. The female local doesnt know anything about it and told me just call the call center, they will tell you, I told her Im already here and wants to check hows the process. She said I cant understand, just call them, Very unprofessional approach, she shouldnt be there in the reception if she cant do her job well. Good thing, theres a direction in elevator and manage to meet one of the coordinators and explained well every single detail I asked. Besides from that, the hospital looks great and comfy. Nice view, very relaxing.

The worst when it comes to medication refill and answering the phone.It happened to me 3 times trying to refill my medication ams it gets rejected at the counter and having to go to the clinic again to request a refill after waiting for morebthan 45mins for your turn, but this time i had enough and thank you Cleveland for your app and yoyr announcements that happns only internally and not to your patients. The app states that i can collect the medication before September and when i got there i was told that i am late for the collection and i cant receive the medication that is supposed to be a course of 6 months and now i am at month 4.the app that is supposed to be one of a kind and it gives us wrong and not updated information. I would put zero stars only in those areas but its not an option.

Took my wife to A&E, presented EID to the reception, booked us in. No prior information on our insurance eligibility was provided to us. Proceeded with treatment, post treatment, we were told that our insurance is not accepted. Forced to pay over AED 1500, tried to reclaim from insurance, been advised that no reimbursement only direct billing for life threatening conditions. Approached Cleveland for clarification, as to why we were not told about the eligibility of insurance, we do not discuss finances before treatment. Ludicrous.I have filed a complaint 2 weeks ago, until now Im waiting for someone to call me.

Patient relation staff are unprofessional and manager is never there. Complained several times and they simply ignore, raised official complaint and no response yet. I asked them to cancel and release my patients from surgery room they ignored and went ahead before I reached to the surgery area. Hi everyone. I had tried registering in CCAD app. But due to some unknown reason app was showing my Emirates ID as invalid (I request CCAD IT team to fix this issue soon). Hence I visited for walk-in vaccination. They have alloted 5 to 6pm for walk in patients. If you cant book through app or call centre, be in CCAD vaccine clinic by 4.30pm for hassel free service. Overall had a pleasant experience. If you go early you can spend time in nearby Galleria mall. WiFi is also free for visitors.

I have heard great things about Cleveland Hospital Abu Dhabi. Keeping that in mind we went there with lot of hope that my wifes High BP can be diagnosed by the right people and by right way,methods. After reaching in Emergency, my wifes BP was taken and found it was 227/109. But I was told by reception that though the BP was very High, my Insurance card (Daman-Essential 5) is not considered for facility of treatment in Emergency. Really felt very sad when we were rejected as it was our dream to get treatment from Cleveland as my wife is suffering High BP since years. Anyway, we are so unlucky....Thanks to the reception nurse for his kindness to monitor my wifes BP.

Let me begin by appreciating CCAD for the excellent world class treatment facilities and best medical practitioners. But at the same time I am distraught with the critical patient follow up and feedback mechanism in place and feel that a lot needs to be done to make the process more empathetic towards patients and their families while following all the safety precautions. Like for example the requirement of everyday RTPCR negative for visitation for relatives with both doses of vaccination completed.Some of the doctors were agitated and least bothered about the family trauma to the point of being aggressive.For patients in ICU there is no regular update provided to the family. The family is only contacted when a consent is required or there are any findings in the tests being carried out. But for a family whose loved one has been through a major life saving procedure and who is limited to see their patient in this COVID scenario there must a way to provide at least everyday status reports to the family.Also wrt visiting hours (ICU) the following needs to be reviewed and action to make the visitation more effective for both patient (and their families) and doctors;1. Visiting hours to be assigned in such a way that shift changeover does not fall within the visiting period2. Family visits to be coordinated to align with doctors rounds to enable doctor and care taker interaction and updates sharing3. Any/all procedure not urgent or emergency in nature to be planned outside visiting hours.

#CCDA Be Careful if you are on #cash basis.As mentioned in my previous review, I went to CCDA for eye glasses check and they obliged me to see the doctor as I cant see Marese without the doctor consultation. The caretakers and doctors here are the best Ive dealt with in Abu Dhabi. State of the art hospital and as professional as it get. Ive never walked in without an appointment so never had to wait a walk in turn at any clinic.I do my check ups with Dr. Maria & Dr. Christine in internal med and theyre both extremely sweet and helpful as well as the caretakers in the same clinic.Thiqa insurance card holders get their treatment as well as medications completely free. As its reputation I recommend it to every friend have medical issues, Doctors are very very good and honest they are at the top of their corrirer.Hospital management is excellent, but some staff especially the front desk staff of some clinics are mody and doesnt meet their tasks requirements, however in general most of the staff are very nice and helpful.Advice to consider:When you reach the front desk of any clinic or lap the ask you to hand your ID and then ask you to wait . If the time pass 15 minutes and no-one call you , check again with the front desk staff , thats happening in common.Public relations sttaf are very helpful and they like their job , you can feel the ambition if happened and you met one of them .Appointments take long time . Generally two to four weeks ( depends on the clinic) sometimes six weeks , so arrange in advance.Another advise: be aware that there is some nurse staff are under training , so be calm and do not nervous of their questions and communication method .Ask if your health insurance covers your issues before you get deep, otherwise youll pay much .

Has ways to go... many holes and gaps in the healthcare chain, lower standard of care. Particularly administrators clinical knowledge and patient advocacy for insurance claim reimbersement. The pharmacy reception desk should not be a place to resolve patient issues. Their pharmacy is always busy which means they are not finding a solution for it!!! Horrible application of the visitor policy that isnt consistent and fair. The policy says one person at a time. This means that you are allowed for exchange once someone leaves the patients room. Head of security allows his staff to let certain groups of people go to visit patients while others he says its one visitor per shift not even at a time. Him and the staff clearly make exceptions and do not follow the rules. A policy should strictly apply on all with no exceptions!

My aunt was transferred from out of the country by plane from ambulance to ambulance. She did Covid test twice. 1st swab pre departure. 2nd swab was before getting in the Cleveland Clinic’s ambulance and both results was negative. She arrived to Cleveland Clinic by ambulance and negative Covid test that was made before getting in the ambulance which is exactly before 2 hours. When she arrived they did a 3rd test and asked to quarantine her until the 3rd result come out. My aunt medical condition is not stable at all and she needs someone to accompany her all the time. Unfortunately they refused that !!!!!!! My family spent 5 hours there trying to convince them. I know there is rules but also I know that we are humans after all. My patient can’t move and she can’t see due to stroke. Is that how you handle your patient cases? How come that a clinic like Cleveland Clinic can’t get the result of Covid test in less than 8 hours?!!!!! I don’t know how to trust leaving my patient at this place.. so disappointed.

Not good value for money. Appointment system and internal coordination is a mess.(2020-12-08) Since this time, I have visited Hospital a couple of times again. I had an appointment at 08:00 so arrived the hospital by 07:45. Checked in, and then waited in the waiting room. At 08:15 I reminded the nurse about the 08:00 AM appointment. I was told someone will be with me shortly. When the nurse arrived, he mentioned that they had internal meetings at 08:00 AM. I suggested that the appointment times should be after internal meetings are done.Went to the pharmacy after this, and apparently some medicine was not approved by insurance. Again a long-ish wait time. For a simple eye appointment, i had spent 2 hours at the hospital.I think overall the hospitals ambience is like a 5-star hotel, but the waiting times have let me down few times.Upgraded review to 3 star from 1 star due to service improvement since the last time i went here.

Best experience i ever had in a hospital. My father had a stroke and it was a tough time for my family. Cleveland staff and doctors made everything they could do to make it much easier on us. Staff and nurses are very friendly and professional. They also called to check on him one month after the procedure. I even had to call recently to ask about some symptoms, a lady called Joelle called back after 10 minutes and answered all my questions. Thank you..

CCAD is a premier healthcare institution in Abu Dhabi, and probably one of the best medical establishments in GCC. We went there in emergency situation, and were met with some of the most professional set of doctors and nurses throughout the treatment. Special mention to Dr. Ahmad Bafadel in the Cardio and Vascular Heart Institute, who is by far one of the most courteous doctors we have met. I went for emergency, my ear was infected the level of hospitality was very high starting from the emergency reception desk to collecting my medication from pharmacy what is really bad and surprising is that I have been confirmed by the doctor and nurses that I will get a call for appointment with ENR by Monday but no one called me and my ears during this time got worse by the infection even with using the medication.What is surprising more after waiting on the line for 10 min they told me that when there is availability I am gonna get a call for appointment. Without taking care that I said I am worried about my ears I didn’t have much pain before but now it’s too much painful they gave me this untrue excuse because I am sure hospital like Cleveland would have a near future schedule and call it’s clients and give them appointment.This is really bad impact about this well known name .

They told me it will take 2h as outpatient so I left my number and told them I will come on Friday 48h so enough time to make everything ready. THE DOCTOR WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Didn’t get what I supposed to get, instead I got humiliated!Complaint for Lloyd Nanhekhan, Plastic Surgeon. I paid for 500 AED for him and what I get was less than 5 minutes of his time and the worst was he made me feel humiliated. He didn’t take my full history hence he didn’t know my case. He even said β€œI don’t know why they even let you come in here” and pointed his finger to me and raised his voice and told me to stay in the room and he left. It is the first and worst thing that happened to me after seeing many doctors. Didn’t expect it from a doctor here, so unprofessional. Wouldn’t recommend him at all!

This review is for their booking system and not their professional care team - I didnt get to that stage.back in mid January I tried making appointment to see a Doctor in the gynaecology unit. To make an appointment one has to call to open a file and then wait for two days to know whether an appointment can be made.After waiting for two full days, I did not get a call back so I called back and to find out that the Doctor requested is on holiday until Feb and earliest appointment is in April.I have read other reviews in here and the companys replies always along the line of so sorry, please email us at Service Excellence....I sent an email to this address. I got a call back two days after to say that I can see the other doctor (there are only 2 in that unit) to prep me to see THE Doctor I wanted to see in April.The earliest they can give me was 25 February and I said I cannot have that date, the caller said there is a cancellation on 23 Feb if I want to go on that date. I confirmed.The confirmation text message which I received says 25 Feb and to my own mistake, I did not take the name, department and extension of the caller.I called the company back again to check on the 23 Feb, the call center told me that theres no note in the system.So I asked for a different date altogether and she gave me 1 June.Wow, I mean I salute these patients who are very much patient in waiting this long but I gave up.
