Visited to the central post office today for my kid visa stamping as Sharjah Immigration dept. of Al Mahata area has been shifted to new premises at Al Rahmania area, which is quite far from the city. Token has been given at the entrance depending on service you need, appearing on display screen, go to the counter - super fast service. I paid 36.75 Dhs for Empost service (Passport will be delivered to my address after Visa stamping), within no time the job has done. Plenty of free parking (30 minutes mentioned in board, but I think its more than enough) inside the post office compound. Good experience.

Impressive service to be honest.I visited for collection of Emirates ID and things was done in no time. I think things are more organized and fast rather than the previous visit of mine couple of years before.I have visited just for collection of Emirates ID only so my review is based on the same.Free Parking for customers is available inside the premises itself, this makes visit more comfortable and hassle free , parking is huge enough that you will find a spot, it is mentioned half an hour parking for customers and I don’t think anyone will take more time than that here to compete something.Photocopy facilities are available inside, token system is there, toilet facilities available and an ADIB atm was also seen in the parking lot just outside building exit.

Very poor attestation service with premium charges of 42 AED.I sent one document for attestation with MOFAIC and few days later it was returned without attestation reason being the attestation charges has not been paid.Although I paid it online before making the booking with Emirates Post. And at the time of phone booking they asked for the payment reference number. But when courier guy came for collection he didnt take the receipt and said its not necessary as the record is already in the system.So even if courier guy missed it, the office which received it and forwarded it didnt care to check about the payment receipt. If it was required, I should have been informed. My contact was there, I was one call away. If they cant check that then what are the premium charges for?And finally when I raised the complaint with customer care, they said they are sorry about it and I will have to make a new request by paying the service charges again. Very disappointed.

Good service. the staff is always ready to help, even for tourists who do not know the language well. There is water and no queues

Friendly and quick service in Emirates ID collection

I went in thinking i have to wait too long to receive my pacy. But i was amazed on how fast my number came up and within 15 minutes my package was in my hand. Free parking. Good personel at entrance directing people where to go. The staff whom attended me was very clear and nice and explaining everything clearly. Happy with their service.

One of the good post office in UAE. The surroundings are quite. The building itself looks like a mansion or hotel with the ancient architecture. Even when it is fully crowded, the security and the staffs controls the crowd effectively and make the process faster. All the staffs are good. Smiling, helpful and friendly.

Clean place, good seating capacity and parking is available. Only issue is with staffs, most of them are not trained frequently. Call center gives the latest information and the staffs are not even aware of it. We need to explain a lot for making them understand about it. This has happened multiple times recently. Also, the customer service is not up to the mark, wish if they were better trained in overall.

Super crowded place. Tokens are just numbers and sit for ages. Do plan at least 3 hours of your time for this place. I have been here multiple times for company purpose. I enjoyed because all I would do is just sit and sleep.

I got my item last night. I came around 8:30pm. From counter 8 (package receiving) the employee is very helpful and easy to talk with. When it came to custom section for inspection, the inspection officer was really polite. I am happy and satisfied with their service. More power Sharjah Central post Office =)

Almost 35 years i am dealing with Sharjah post office. Speciality isLocation. Atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful. Employees are also very good behaviour. its not that much crowd always.

One of the worst customer friendly environment which I have experienced. No staffs at the counter and need to wait for more than hour to send one document. Not even worthy for one star rating. Very disappointed.

It’s a very nice post office. The structure is also very beautiful. Very specious Central post office. They do the service with whole heartedly. The staffs are very humble and provide proper guidance when it comes to postal related questions.

If you send to UAE First Class Registered Mail you need to send to a po box and include a number where they can contact the recipient.. they dont seem to be able to deliver mail in the UAE unless you send priority mail.. my wife is having problems locating a package I sent... I thought UAE would have a modern postal delivery system being they are one of the richest countries in the middle east.. my bad.. I might as well have sent to Ethiopia

Poor service. Staff are busy with their own mobiles , chatting and drinking coffee . Half a hour waiting and i have only two token ahead of me.

Rude worker started flirting with me and when i didn’t respond he said he won’t give me my parcel until i said hi to him i stood there for 5 minutes waiting for him to stop taunting me at the end he got angry opened my package to check it and started saying rude comments about it

I ordered item thru alibaba in which I provided po box of saif zone where i work.After I got sms to collect I went to saif zone post offixe where I got a slip and they said I have collect from central post office. When I went to central PO they said the item didnt reach there. All these have happened after I received sms that my item is ready to collect in saif zone. Its written in the slip the item has to be collected from saif zone. Then why did they direct me to central po where the item didnt reach. Totally unorganized.

Its pretty good for a post office but is usually very crowded I prefer to go there after 6 pm when its pretty empty.

I see so many negative comments ! Im very happy with post service anytime I get package they call me urgent! Never nothing get lost even the smallest pack !!! All those that say they dont send you because no delivery service, yes they have but no for regular post only for paid po box as in every country in the world! Come on people !!!! This place is junction where road from rolla ,Kuwait roundabout ,zahra hospital, itihad Square park, meena road meet so this is big junction in sharjah ,as name suggests there is a central post office , another side is Diwan Amiri, and Damas tower on other side

Called them and they said theyre open from 7:30 to 9PM. They forgot to mention that Ramadan timings is till 6:00. I reached at 5:50 and to my surprise all staff left by 5:30.There should have been some mention of the Ramadan timings change. I drove 20 minutes to be turned away.

Its nice to walk through this part of Sharjah but, the lane system and signal system in the round - about is quite confused . Probability of accident is high for motorists as well as pedestrians.
