Guys, careful while trusting valuable things with this cargo service. One cant trust them. I got the parcel on time they initially advised, but out of 3 2 boxes were deliberately broken, probably for the sake of stealing goods. Since we didnt send expensive items, we lost trivial items. But still, its an attempt to steal goods. When approached Usood Cargo about this, they kept ignoring my WhatsApp messages and calls.

This types of company just making us fool ..last year 2020 dec i send my courier still now i din receive and from their side no response when we call either they don’t no or it’s in inspection what hell they’re talking from past 10 months they are inspecting they jst making us fool to give like this comment….. it’s my personal experience please avoid this courier service at all because when you send items that time they’re very polite after that you have run behind ittt it’s in Sharjah rolla al usood…

My experience is, they have collected one jumbo box items from my flat at Sharjah on 16 June 2021, received everything at my home at Thalasserry, Kannur dt, Kerala on 10 July 2021.No problems, everything was more than my expectations as I was expecting delays due to Covid situation.

My feedback about service is good. We have received it in a good condition and there was no damage to the baggage. It took around 25 days from sharjah to kerala for the delivery. The overall service was good. The rates are reasonable compared to others.

The deal was to deliver my jumbo wooden box until my doorstep. I would have to go to Cochin port for customs clearance. Mr Sandeep took the estimate from my apartment in Sharjah and he was well aware and calculated accurately the number of jumbo boxes required.The packing crew did an excellent job in securely packing all our valuables. We made sure to note down all the items packed into individual cartons, which helped us in tracking items when we received the cargo at home. The packing crew were overworked and underpaid, please make sure to give a good tip if you feel their work is good. I did the payment at the Rolla office to Mr Sachin and he agreed to send the Bill of lading (BL) soon. This guy was the worst, never picked my calls or replied to messages; at last, I had to seek help from Sandeep to get my BL.Al Usood uses ‘Oceanic cargo’ agents inside Cochin port for clearing the cargo. I followed up with the Oceanic cargo and received my appointment after 2.5 months. Be ready to spend a day in the port and customs office to complete the clearing procedures. It is better to go as a couple for cargo clearance as we need to track the items when port clearing staff opens each box for the customs officer’s estimation.I had 2 fridges in my cargo; both of them were 300 liters plus and were used for around 5 years. The rule is to pay 16% tax for the first fridge if it is above 300 L and 38.5% for the second fridge. No tax for the fridge if less than 300 L. I had two new pieces of furniture, which were purchased for a maximum of 700 AED and I had original invoices with me as proof. I had purchase receipts for almost all my furniture and home appliances. The customs officer, a young fellow, who speaks Hindi and English, started checking and finished the inspection after noticing the fridges and furniture. He called me and started the negotiation in a whispering tone, and said that I had to give Rs. 26,000 as customs duty for importing 300L fridges and new furniture. The officer was not at all ready to give a break up of how he arrived at this amount and asked me to think and reply. He proceeded to inspect the next customer.Then came the role of the Oceanic cargo agent. If you ever think our agent would help us to reduce the prices for us, you are wrong. The guy asked me to call back the officer to negotiate with him and told me that I will end up paying more if the officer isn’t happy. Cursing the system, I pleaded with the officer and at last, he agreed for a Rs 14,000 customs duty. Coming back to home country in a job loss situation, and using a TR (transfer of residence), I wasn’t ready for such a huge customs duty. Once I agreed for the amount, the crew started packing all the boxes and took a few boxes for scanning. This is the time we need to be careful, 10 workers take our boxes and go around for scanning, unsure if all our boxes and the items are returned or lost.Then comes the port staff who wraps steel wire around the wooden box, he charges 180 rs for a single steel wrap around the box and suggests 2 such ropes for proper protection, but one wrap is enough.Once the boxes are packed, we have to go to the customs office to pay and get the bill. At the customs office I insisted to show me the receipt, and to my surprise, the customs duty amount was less than Rs 5,700. Clueless, I asked the agent why I should then pay the extra Rs 8,300. He replied in a peaceful tone that this is the way system works here. The officer and his gang pocketed more than Rs 8,000 which otherwise should have gone to India government customs department.It took me a few days to overcome the pain of being ransacked. I had to pay such a hefty amount for something which wasn’t worth Rs 14,000. I accepted that this is how the system is and we can’t change anything.

People never use Al Usood Cargo, as they dont have experienced people to pack the luggage and they will manhandle your luggage. My entire household appliances have been damaged and post sales service suck big time. No proper support to address the issue. Better go for other options available.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

They say Door to door services however to offload we need to arrange workers and pay them separately. Reason being told by Mr Sachi from sharjah branch is that the union workers will make issues. However their staff from Kerala can offload the same if we pay them extra money. Pathetic service!!!

Terrible service. Sent outsourced staff who have never packed even their personal items in their life time! Promised to send 4 people, but sent two inexperienced unprofessional staff. Took forever to pack in-spite of us helping and packing most of the things. No response to our concerns! No accountability Nothing!!! No packing tools were provided to the staff and on the whole terrible terrible experience! If they do not buckle up and improve sooner than later, this company is going downhill for sure!

Stupid Service. I had send a package and it was initially told that it would be delivered in a months time. I had initially sent the package on June 15th. Today is July 29th and still i have not received the delivery. A week prior to this when i called them, they had informed me that it will be delivered in 2 days as it is on its way to be delivered. When i called them today, they said it will still take another 10 days. They are not only sure about what they are doing, but awful customer support and feedback. I cannot give them a zero rating, otherwise would have given them this rating.
