Excellent experience! A very informative tour about pearls and the history of them. The tour guides were extremely kind and clear about their topic. We learned about origin of pearls, the anatomy of the oysters, how divers used to farm for oysters and the materials that they used, classes of the divers, classes of the pearls, ideal months for pearl diving, etc. from this trip. Suwaidi Pearls even have their own mini store where you can buy pearl jewelry. Lastly, this was a great attraction and there were many new things to learn that you didnt even know! Wonderful place!
I availed the tour package along with family and really impressed of the team hospitality, knowledge and overall arrangement. Presenter keeps kids engaged. Scenic beauty while boat trip really soothing. But would like to put my personal opinion that tour package bit expensive and big family may discourage due to budget. Would appreciate if boat trip toute can extend more close to or through mangrove forest.
Just came back from Suwaidi pearls tour. It was awesome and worth the trip. It is a sublime collage of history, geography and art of pearls presented in an elegant and professional manner. The tour is designed perfectly and the guide explained everything with great presentation. Just a suggestion, if you can add an actual diving demonstration with the old gear used by the people, it will increase the wow effect. Keep it up guys and thank you
First of all we would like to say thank you to the people working here for making our visit so nice. This is the best place to learn about natural pearls and history of diving in UAE. The visit takes about 2 hours. The staff is nice and professional. They are happy to explain with proud about their history and about their farm that is unique in the gulf. The restaurant is closed currently due to COVID-19 restrictions. At the end we both some natural pearls from their shop as souvenir. The experience is good for adults and for kids as well, we are recommending to anyone visiting UAE.
What they shows its not there waste of time
This place is closed. Do not go even if it is open on google. I waited for about an hour when I went. They are ruined 5 hours of my vacation in the middle of nowhere.there is no cafe no restaurant. Place is bad , there is a garbage everwhere.
Very nice experience. Highly recommended. Great day out with the kids. Very friendly and informative team who go through the history of Pearls and pearl diving. They also do a live demo of extracting a pearl. Educational and fun for the children. 2 thumbs up!
Pros:-Very nice and unique tour. You will enjoy sightseeing and knowing more about UAE and Gulf heritage. The full process of pearl extraction will be illustrated whether naturally or artificially produced. Special Thanks to Abdullaah our tour guide.- Free parking available- Free juices and water to refresh in hot weatherCons:- no office or someone to guide when you arrive to location, just assembly point and you wait in your car until the time of the trip. ( recommend to arrive 15 mins before your reservation time)
A good place to visit with children. The staff was very pleasant and explained how cultured pearls are made. Very informative.
A serene experience into the history of ancestors and the way they lived their lives. The importance of pearl industry in the development of RAK and also how it was done in the era before advent of advanced technologies and tools
A boat takes you on a lovely, calm tour (refreshments are served). Then the boat docks on a double-level barge where you learn all about the history of divers in the region, how they farm the pearls and how they were sold.Such an incredible experience learning about the history of pearl diving while at Suwaidi Pearl farm. The history and dedication from these divers is so inspiring! If you haven’t had the pleasure of visiting, be sure to make the time!
Its in Al Rams, a small village in Ras al Khaimah. No office there ,just wait near the assembly point. We will be picked up by organisers in traditional boat, take a round through the waters and will reach in floating farm. Presenter will explain, history, process, stages and various products. Can buy the pearl profucts, if interested. After one and half hours, we will be dropped near the landing area. Water, Juices and Snacks are provided with AED 350 per person for tour. Free parking at boarding area and washrooms available in the floating farm. A fuel station nearby , and no restaurants or supermarkets. Recommended. Take care of kids all the time and carry a camera / good mobile for nice photos. Check for the pearl diving season/ months and visit.
Beautiful experience in understanding the history of pearl and seeing the real thing live..
Beautiful boat ride and the tour people were very kind amd showed us around really well. Stunning Pearls to see and you can also buy. A very beautiful day out.
The UAE pearling industry, which created a period of wealth back in days, relied on extensive expertise, from shipbuilding to sailing. UAE pearls were replaced by artificial Japanese pearls by the 19s & local Emiratis moved away from the pearl industry to the oil sector but still the past being remembered & celebrated, the Ras Al Khaimah Pearls journey was very informative tour give us the whole idea of the Pearl industry history. The tour last long for 4 hours including a lunch & boat ride to mangrove
Great place to discover UAE heritage.
Superb outing with interesting insights into the history and culture of pearling. Great staff and a well presented tour in the only Pearl Cultivation Farm in the Gulf region. A must do!
A very enjoyable and pleasant trip. The tour starts out with a short boat trip around the area, which is absolutely breathtaking. You’ll see clear-blue water (even jellyfish!), contrasted by white Arabian sand, then contrasted by the mountains and even mangroves in the water.During the boat tour there’s really no explanation, but I guess that’s fine. You’re offered multiple drinks, Arabian coffee and some dates. Then you arrive at the floating pearl farm. The guide was incredible. Very knowledgeable, explaining in detail how this traditional Emirati activity came to life and exists still today. They allow you to buy an oyster with your own pearl for 150 AED too, as a souvenir. Can highly recommend making the day trip ;-)
‘The gem that dims the Moon’ is truly being respectfully presented at Al Suwaidi pearl farm in Al Rams, RAK.Professional staff, well structured presentation, lots of informative material on display at the farm. Only missed more tempting jewellery to buy in the shop😀
Was travelling 1.5 hour drive from Dubai, in their google map mention they will close at 5pm. When we reach and called them, they were working till 12pm and prior booking is required.
The best thing is to keep your culture alive.Hard work brings the Resut
We loved the tour. Information provided is interesting and everyone is very nice. No pushy service, very pleasant experience overall.
We visited Suwaidi pearls on March 5th 2021, and it was a great experience for the family. The staff were extremely nice and helped the whole family understand the history of pearls and the importance for the region. We were taken to a pearl farm and the team explained to us in details how an oyster starts off to when a pearl is created. We all saw an oyster being opened and were lucky to find a pearl! Its a nice drive out from Dubai to Suwaidi pearls and great day trip
Great tour! Well organised and presented. No hard sell or the like. Very pleasant experience.
This is experience is a must. It really offers you a unique perspective on UAE culture. It was interesting and fun. Learned a lot about tribes other than the Bedouin. The curator spoke English well. Well worth the drive, time and effort!
We had an excellent experience, and the most wonderful and professional customer service. Definitely recommended. We had an amazing time. Thank you for everything!

Brilliant piece of pearl diving history. Mr. Abdullah Suwaidi is a gem of a person and possesses a wealth of pearls, the history, the process and much more being a former pearl diver himself. A must visit when in Ras Al Khaimah.

Very nice discovery of the only pearl farm in the Middle East, with a very educational museum with all the explanations of the history of the pearl in the Persian Gulf, as a bonus a boat trip to reach the farm. Unforgettable. One of my best authentic experiences in the emirates. What a welcome.Thank you very much Ubaidullah and Othman for the explanations and the smile even through the mask 😃.
Lali Al Suwaidi Farm is one of the best places I have visited and one of the best tourist places in Ras Al Khaimah ... Learn about the types of pearls and the way of beginning to which the ancestors relied on ... and how their day schedule was ... and things that supported the trip freely for the pearl farm ... and the experience is sweet ... From the other ... I advise you to try ... the place is love for children 👌☺️💕
Modest and mediocre. You shouldnt go from far away. If you are near, then you can see.We spent an hour on the road. The organizers did not explain well where the meeting point is. I had to call up all the time.Expected more. As a result, they offered to buy a lot of tasteless jewelry. Prices are like everywhere else. It’s definitely not worth going there for pearls.
A beautiful tourist place that combines Al-Hader with the pastIt is characterized by beautiful views and stunning views that combine sea water with beautiful mountain peaks
