Very small zoo and strongly recommended only during winter or late evening. No places for visitors to stay or rest with shadow or AC. Felt horrible to visit in the morning time too hot. Even animals were looks so tired. If you have visited Dubai / Al Ain zoos then you can ignore this place. We went for kids but due to hot couldnt enjoy.

Its very nice place to visit, especially for the family and the childrens. Entry fee AED.40/Person and Children under the age of 2 are free. You can spent long time in this Zoo as its included many animals and large area. Its absolutely worth for the ticket cost and we enjoyed it...

Zoo is located about an hour journey from Dubai, you can easily locate it as it’s just by the road. There is a entry fee of 40aed (applicable for adults and children), which is fairly priced. The Zoo is in a wide spread area, part of it is covered with sheets giving the visitors good shade and part of it is open. Electric cars are available for visitors to rent them and stroll around the zoo.All animals are maintained well, they definitely looked like they are fed well and are taken care of in a good way. Many species of animals are at the zoo. Tigers and Lions are maintained very well and find a lot of them here.Avoid mid afternoon time for the visit, as the animals will be sleeping and you will not get a good look at it.Overall good place to take your children and family, zoo gives a relaxing environment and worth the drive.

Not recommended; extremely hot with no cool fans along the corridors, no air conditioned resting areas for families, elder people, and toddlers has a hell of a day, a fence is around the windows people jam at once you can hardly see the animal from behind, the zoo is not family friendly so not recommended.

The entrance fee is 40 aed per person, and there is nothing to see for aed 40, utter waste of money. Animals included wild animals are kept in small cages, very difficult to see the animals through the small iron grill. The only attraction is we can take photos with chimpanzee.

If it wasnt for the ticket price of AED 40 per person and the personal golf kart for AED 100 for 30 minutes, the experience would have been a lot better. The zoo is poorly maintained with arrogant staff. The glass through which we see the animals is so dirty that you can only see your own reflection. They have lots of lions, tigers, white lion, etc but none of them are cleaned properly and taken proper care of.

Wow. It is one the best zoos in the UAE. It may seem to be small but the animals they are maintaining are really worth to see. There are many of tigers and lions and for that small place which is a great asset. Zoo has been maintained very well. Kids may love watching other animals as well. If you are visiting RAK for any occasion this is one of the must see places.

The place is good and nice for children, they can take photos with the chimpanzees. However, it could be better if there was information about the animals. also more cafeterias or restaurants should be there especially that it is far from dinning places. More animals can be brought to the zoo to make the experience better. Variety of big cats are there but the absence of information about them is a negative point. Open parking area is available so you need not worry about parking your car. The lake is very nice and good for photography. Kids can enjoy horse riding. Overall the experience is good and enjoyable. Some improvement can be made in the future.

2 hour trip with children is good. Make sure to visit in the morning or in the evening. As during noon time most of the wild life will be sleeping.Spend time on feeding Yemu, Camel & Deer, which will be a new experience and take some photos/videos of it. ( Camels are coveres with lots of flies- so you may not find it as hygenie to feed them- Not sure the flies are there because of the climate or the camels are not clean 😀) AED 5 for a bunch of grass to feed the animals.Take some photos of kids with birds on shoulders at the entrance itself.Entry Ticket 40 AED for adults. Free for children under 3 Years.

This is a private establishment with plenty of animals. Entry fee is 40 Dirham per person which only includes entry to zoo and viewing animals. There are around 40 lions, tigers and leopards. A big stable is connected to property also where kids and adults can learn horse riding. You can also take picture with Chimpanzee by paying 50 Dirham per person. Feeding and patting can be done as well but you have to buy cattle food for 5 Dirhams a bunch. There was a small Cafetaria serving tea, juices, cold water, ice cream etc at very reasonable prices. There is also a play area with bouncy castle and couple of rides but you have to pay extra.List of animals includes snakes, ducks, turtles, alligators, lions, tigers, monkeys, racoon, mongoose, eagles, vulture, leopards, chicken, peacocks, ostrich, deer, camels, buffalows and Arabian oryx. You can also rent a golf cart to go around in Zoo at 100 dirhams for 40 minutes. The area is quite big and a good place to take your kids.

Not as expected especially when compared with other Zoos in UAE, Dhs.40/- entrance fee. Dhs. 100/- for Buggy Hire for 40 minutes and an additional charge to get pictures with chimpanzees and Birds . Zookeeper would only allow 10- 15 mins for photos. Only one shop for refreshments inside the Zoo. Very small zoo in terms of area and animals. Kids enjoyed feeding the animals. The zoo mostly contains wild animals that have been rescued. So it is quite nice to know that these animals are now safe and receiving the necessary care. There now are 3 chimps and an orangutan that you can interact with for an additional fee. They are a treat to play with and are very naughty. I certainly would recommend this zoo for a relaxed visit.
