Lovely place to visit. The drive up to Jebel Jais is amazing. The spiralling roads through the mountains keep you alert and happy. There are several viewing decks along the way, each offering tremendous views of mountains and valleys. The best views are from the top though. RAK tourism has built a parking lot and some viewing decks on the top. If you reach there in the evening, you can catch sights of mesmerizing sunset behind the mountains. Trekking along the side tracks adds to the experience.

The first view point that you can stop by to contemplate the rest of the journey up as well as take a pit stop at the (not so well maintained) bathroom facilities.Theres a view of the mountains that you can take in here, but you arent that high up yet to compare against the higher viewing points.

Its okey for a single visit..not much option available for food...they dont allow you to carry any food items neither got any good restaurant..if you are carrying food along with you.. gotta camp on road side and eat... parking is an issue.

Nice adventure spot to visit with family and friends, remember to fill your fuel tanks before you enter the path.

We went morning . I was very quiet and calm. A nice place to take some rest after a long drive. Nice spectacular view through the binoculars. If you want to have a cup of coffee or an icecreams, you can stopover and enjoy.

A great place to go during summer to experience a hill station in UAEIf you are lucky you get to experience rain clouds going over you.

The best thing about this place is the drive to the top of the mountain.On the top there isnt much to do and the visibility is quite poor and nothing scenic to look down - so if u dont enjoy the driving the twists and turns - then dont go.

Fantastic place to go for a long drive with our loved ones. Highlight of this place is that you will find 5* to 10* drop in temperature when compared to the planes. Best place to have a over night stay, to make barbiqs, have fun & see the clear view of Sun Rise 🌅

Entirely adventure tripJebel Al jais is roughly two hour trip from Dubai . Its wholey nice adventure trip for the individuals and as well as families . Its on Ras Al Khaimah .10 degree celcius less temperature in mountain compare than other areas.

One of my favourite destination. The mountains reflect the artistic talent of the creator. Best time is to see sun set on the top. Mountain ranges reflect the vibrant colours of evening

This desert mountain offers a rest from city sore. Enjoy the ride to the top and fly down if you want and if you have budget for it. Worth the experience, I guess.

Did a tour company trek of the mountain and it was great! As it gets hotter I would not recommend it as it could be dangerous but in winter months I would totally do it again!

Good drive but there wasnt anything much to do there. Also police is ready to give u heavy fine for very small reasons.

It is good view however maybe it was not the right time when we visit it because were nothing much to do and weather was still hot

Its a very good point in Ras-al-Khaima, as a tourist or a visitor you must visit this place, its the highest point of the UAE, From Dubai it takes almost 2 hours to be there, you can enjoy worlds longest zip line which is there on jabel-e-jais, there are several observation decks on the way while youre driving towards the peak of the mountain.

Exceptional arrangements from RAK municipality.....hats off to clean environment available every time i go there ..... for your info...Only barbeque cooking allowed. Check before you do any other cooking in open places.Morning views are Amazing in December..

Clean toilets, a small restaurant/tuck shop, a shaded area and a designated area for prayers. Ideal place for a quick stop before heading up the mountain. Also a very useful Basecamp for riders heading up.

Over all good drive and a pleasant night. Temperature went low up to 7 degrees

Considering the view and the location for tourists is not bad for a one time visit but not for camping nor for spending the day.The top of the mountain is closed for people except the ones that paid to go on the big drop from top. No one is allowed to stay on the top, camp there or even cross it. we were also hoping to find a good camp sight on our way up the mountain but didnt find any.at least the view was good.

“Mountain escorts you to your kingdom”, it’s feels like the same way when you drive though these valleys. Nice/ windy sight between the passages.Have a enjoyable drive. Take Braekdown from office enjoy the UAE.

Good stop on the way to the top. There are washrooms for both men and women. Good amble parking space.

Amazing nice view from the mountain, it is an easy drive up doesnt take long, there are lots of stops on the road and public washrooms you can stop and take pictures for some amazing views must go during the winter season

This place has very less place for camping, shouldnt go on public holidays as it becomes huge crowded.

Nice view its December and January

It was a great trip to Jebel jais. A good climate you can enjoy. And the drive through the mountain is so exciting. View from the top hill station will give you a unique and unforgettable feeling. You can spend a full night there with tent. Small cafeterias are available there.

An excellent opportunity to stop and take great pics, freshen up. The effort provided by the govt to make it comfortable for the visitors is commendable.Multiple options to stop and enjoy the views on your way up. Road is excellent, some part are single road but reckless drivers do overtake and should be watched out.A must visit location am so glad I ventured out.

Good place to have a great time. Barbecue, tent stay (bring your tents and quilts to keep warm), great views, lovely weather... Peaceful. Carry food, coal and all necessary to barbecue, water, cold drinks, etc.. There are a couple of food vans at the top. Washroom on most observation decks. If you plan for a night stay, keep quilts and warm clothes, mats, chair, led lamps. Book for the worlds longest zip line adventure up here. Book a ticket to observation deck and watch RAK sea coast from above the mountains. Or just get your books to read and chairs to relax and unwind. Clean and managed designated areas for car park and barbecue. Holidays and weekends, it is crowded... reach early and secure a nice place for a wonderful time. Two points to remember : Make sure to keep the place clean. And drive safe. 👍🏻

The drive to Jebel Jais is mesmerising. We drove with some friends and stopped of several spots on our way to top. The mountain road is very well maintained has many public facilities available and has many nature viewing points. Overall the experience was very good.
