I had always wanted to visit this castle and I finally got there. We were allowed to walk around all the floors freely they are restoring the original artwork and for 75 dirhams it’s a good day out. Whether you are a ghost hunter or just there to see the art or inside a palace then this is a worth a look
This thing was a nightmare for me since childhood until i visited this palace in person. It is really scary to visit a place you see and hear about since childhood . More over a fun place to visit than go for ghost hunt
I really enjoyed the tour. 1 guide will take you around the palace, explaining the history in laymen terms. The price per person if going with family is AED 50 per person. You are allowed to take photos in the palace too.
Impressive historical artifact of the UAE of the 1970’s. Some furniture and the near entirety of the plaster bas-reliefs, tiling, ceilings and handmade lighting fixtures are original to the place. Even the air conditioning is said to be imported from Japan back in 1975 —a rare luxury that was not even present in most cars at the time. The rooftop rooms are some of the most charming spaces in RAK. Incredible zodiac sign reliefs in the domed ceilings of the third floor majlis.50 AED (group rate, 75 for individual) will buy you a guided visit of this ample mansion. To further satisfy your midcentury cravings, I also recommend to visit the Sheikh Zayed home in Ain Al Faida, in Al Ain.
#haunted home in RAK. Liked our tour guide. Gentleman at the cash register was so so nice and polite. Made my day.
Its name should be Art Museum and not Haunted house. A well decorated area with antique art pieces and thats it. Entry fee is way too high (AED 75/- per capita). Not recommended at all.WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY
Very nice place and attractive decoration 😍 I like it
Entry ticket is now 75 AED. Too expensive.Art work is Amazing. Such a levish spending on this. Really love this palace. Worth watching. But for only AEd 20 or max 30.
Super super scary spooky but worth the visit. Please go at odd hours its the best at that time. And by the way the abandoned palace next to Al qasimi entrance is the SPOT
It is an amazing piece of work but the entrance fee is too much 50/- is too high
Worst experience given for 50 Dirhams. There is no attractions inside. Just several rooms which are all the same. There is no unique feature or speciality. Cant even call it a palace. A building with some rooms.
I was expecting more about the place. The entrance fee is not worth it
They say the place is haunted but noy for me. For 50 AED entrance fee, youll be able visit inside the old palace. Cameras are allowed and you can also record videos. There is not much display but the interior design is a good see. It was a good 20 minute side trip.
There is no option give a half star thats why I am given 1 star
Beautiful Palace. ❤❤
Haunted place.now open to public after 30 years.
Waste of money. 75 aed is really expensive to visit this place without any writing or explanations of the items inside or the history of the place. The palace itself is nice and the items and artwork unique--- but 75 aed to visit it is a joke. Not worth it.
Nice place 😍😍
Some say : Rumors are just rumors, some say you should not joke about it.
Scary but for those who get scared easily ;)
For me ! It’s feel like horror
Nice to see as part of trip to RAK
One of the most haunted places in RAK
Before it was abandoned. Now its becoming a tourist place with entry fee..
One of a kind experience, you will love the tile work and detail that is in the palace.
Fantastic palace to visit
Good place
Its not worth for AED 50 per person 😄 entry fee
Over priced, not worth for the money.
Nothing much to see, not worth for AED 75/-
Nice place and view ..if you started knowing about palace history this is amazing misty behind..500 million Dh worth palace left abandoned after staying one night..
👽
Nice place to have friends gathering
Good
They are now charging AED 50 PER PERSON. They used to not charge a specific amount and you just give the caretaker any amount
Hauted palace : No EntrySaid to be haunted so we went after 2:30AM.It was dark and the drive was fun. When reached there it was well lit with colorful lights as if the haunting spirits or whatever were having a disco night (no offense). There were CCTV and no entry. So we just took some photos from outside and decided to return when the sun is up.Next day we returned back @ 3PM unfortunately it was still closed. While walking in the outer verandah to peep inside we could feel an ambience and to make it even better the hanging lights were dangling due to the mild wind which gives us the goosebumps.A local talk will give us stories of children calling for help looking out of the windows. If went inside we could see unseen rooms and furnitures moving. Writings on walls in bloody red colors and such.Cant enter the place so from outside a quick look and thought of all the stories will give you a feel.
Mashaallah very beautiful... At first I was scared to go there, u know the rumours about ginn n ghosts. Well took some courage n went there, I was the only one there as it was week day. Palace is open from 9 am till 5 pm. I paid 75 AED, n followed the guide. From the main enterance which is a Hall he showed me all the bedrooms n sun room at the top n maids room at the lower level. I was amazed to see the art on walls. Blue tile work, art from Morocco, India, Persian. The antique chandeliers... it was beautiful. The sun room at the top has very ornate art work. I could not imagine that in 70s when there was less populated area The Shaikh HH made such a beautiful palace. It seems like it’s built on a hill and from the roof top u can see everything around it. The weather was clear n I could see the mountains in far distance. I did not feel scared at all so I asked the guide if it’s open after sunset. He said yes I can visit around 10pm it’s open. I got my chills back n I said no thank you. Anyways one should visit this place it is beautiful. Thanks to Mr Tariq al Sharhan who restored this palace. Now I can say I saw a beautiful palace in RAK. My dream of seeing an old palace from inside came true. Thank you Ras al Khaimah government for this opportunity.
Not scary as I thought it would be, went there due rumours of the place being haunted...only to know someone had bought it already and started working on the repairs. Extremely great palace though, sits high and perfectly positioned.
Wonderful place to be
This is an old palace, now it turned to be a tourist attraction, they call it haunted palace, there is mystery behind this, entry fee 75 DHS per person, group may get entry ticket at 50 DHS per person
50 AED for entry. Not worth
I hear that its hunted house 👻
Amazing
Worth a visit even though we could not go inside, the whole palace had a feel of haunted house
Nice
Many people are saying crazy things about this palace, now its opened as a museum for everyone, its now a touristic palace in Rasalkhaimah.
Just seen it from outside and it looked beautiful. Sadly we didnt get to go inside.
Adventurous hunted Palace in Ras Al Khaimah
One of the most frightening yet mesmerising structures is the Al Qassimi Palace in RAK which reportedly cost AED 500 million to build, over 25 years ago. Locals say the structure has remained uninhabited save just one night. And that the people were driven out in just one night after they experienced strange paranormal happenings.Word of Mouth also has it that people have reported irrational fear, sounds of wailing persons, bizarre sightings and also spotted children peeping out of the partly broken stained glass windows while crying out for help to trespassers!
Not feel like a ghost palace just awsome place to visit
Its good place to visit . Nothing to fear . Just an old palace with some paintings . Some wooden furniture which where never used . If you go in the morning may be you can take some photos if the guard allows
Haunted palaceAmazing placeHestorical placeIt is said that the cost of this palace is more than 500 milion !!!!!!!!
If your into exploring abandoned places, this will be a hit for you. but I was disappointed when I get inside because I thought there will be a lot of stuff left inside. Knowing that its all gone and only dust left there.
Historical place famous the name is bait ul jin
Very nice palace
Nothing spooky I felt here...
A Huge palace... not a must see... unless you have time
We drove for almost 2hrs from Dubai to see this place but when we reached, they did not allow us to take picture as it is a private owned by the Sheikh of RAK. This should be removed now on the historical places and they are already fixing it to be occupied again by living people. Total dissapointment.
Worth a visit. Must try.
Very nice picture
Historic monument with loving & scary stories. Will feel the negative vibration at its circumference
Restricted place... looks so beautiful no one will tell its build 28years back
Beautifully built palace said to be haunted.
Not a ghost palace, just locked house. There is Securtiy, behave like an arbab even dont allow to stand in front of that palace
Nothing much haunted.... its a myth by the people of that area... or others.. to get this place a historical place.. if u want to watch(see) a palace u can go there or you want to get horror, you go and watch any horror films
Great place, helpful staff
Really horrible place. You need a power to go there at night
Lovely getting bummed by the spooky ghosts
People in Ras Al khaimah belive there is existence of Jinn in this palace, its closed and nobody living.
Good one palace . Hunted house
The ghost house in RAK
