The view is really nice. Stayed at the Waldorf Astoria and it was quite disappointing. I asked for hand wash soap and they said that it was only available at the presidential/premium suite. In Covid Times, that just seems unacceptable.Apart from that the beach is nice and open and there’s a tennis court that you can book and borrow equipment for free. The almond croissant at breakfast was my highlight. There were two small goals for football on the beach and it’s a nice spot for a run.

The place is a little heaven in UAE, quiet and cozy, we stayed the residence within the Waldorf hôtel, loved the serenity and quiet beach. Such a wonderful place.there is also a shopping center close by which makes the stay more convenient.

2 hours drive from Dubai, you will be welcomed by beautiful palm trees on the way to the hotel. Reception area has great ambiance (arabic) good. Rooms are clean & well maintained. Breakfast buffet has variety of options you can sit inside the restaurant or choose to eat outside near the pool area. Kudos to the chef who makes variety of egg recipes for the guests 😊. Beach is nice with whitesand. Easy to relax with their cozy benches.

Great location, amazing beach, professional staff!We stayed at Al Hamra residence for the weekend. We had a good time, the rooms are big and clean, the room service is very good and they literally bring you anything you ask for.Breakfast is not for a five stars hotel, its limited and the quality isnt the best. Breakfast needs improvement. Also, the check-in lasted for a long time, it could be faster.The view from the room is breathtaking. You can enjoy your cocktail on the beach! there is a bar anywhere.

My reservation was in Al Hamra Village which is different from Al Hamra ResidenceThe village is just okay. The rooms furniture is old and the toilet without rinser. You have to ask for everything to get despite it has to be ready before you take over the room.The worst thing I found when I asked about the prayer room to pray they said there is no prayer room and you have to pray in your own room. Its not acceptable in an Islamic country.Notes:The main restaurant for the launch or the dinner is located inside Alhamra Residence not Al Hamra village so you have to walk for 5 to 10 minutes.when you get inside the restaurant every one of the staff will ask you for your room number and I think its supposed to be asked for one time at the reception of the restaurant. (They asked us 4 times)The water inside the restaurant is not free at all. and the most shocking thing that I was informed that they are charging for any more water inside room. How is this a 5 stars hotel.The food is good but not fabulous or very good.You have the access for all facilities even that are located at Al Hamra ResidenceThey have a huge beach which is really beautiful and clean. there is a lot of activities on the beach.My kids enjoyed the kids club as the staff was friendly and active. The hotel has 3 more kids areas.

This property is closed booked a room on 3rd august spoke to the reception too they said its confirmed yesterday got a message that booking is cancelled.i tried calling the receltion but no one picked so i drove all the way yo ras al khaimaj to chk with them wen j arrived i lesrned that the property jas been closed since 5 days due to no business and will b closed for some time..atleast i shud be informed by the management that my booking is cancelled

What a delightful place

I really like this place, my 2-year-old daughter enjoyed her stay too as there are many activities for her age, the staff are welcoming and so nice. I highly recommend it and will definitely go again if i have the chance

This is a nice resort specially for the price you pay to stay here. The resort is complete as it offers nice accommodation, has its own peivate beach, 2 swimming pools, saunas(in the village), tennis courts, plenty of water sports activities (charged extra), two outdoor bars, and a couple of decent restraunts in the resort itself. The resort is most probably run by the Hilton group. They other good part is that the Al Hamra mall is at a 5 min drive or you can walk there in 15 minutes. It is generally a nice vacation spot if you are on a budget.

It was one of the best holiday! The people are great. The hotel is nice, rooms are clean, food is delicious. Ive never seen more beautiful beach. I recommend this place!

Great hotel in a nice location. Has its own private beach, a decent gym and nice swimming pools. Should offer free wifi in the rooms though. Apart from that everything else was great.

Always an enjoyable stay. However, after probably 1000s of outdoor breakfasts, one would think theyd have a Plan B for the plenty flies that surrounds ones awesome breakfast. TIP ... burn citronella candles on each table. At least make an effort.

Amazing beach, professional staff

I stayed here more than 5 times, the rooms are clean, they have 2 big pools and the beach is quite and amazing, also village residents can use the facilities of the residence too, i really recommend this place for a quiet peaceful stay, i will come again definitely .

Residence is nice but village standard double rooms are smaller than expected. Also room doesnt have many common things which are usually available in other standard hotel rooms.Staff is very good. And food is good.

Had stayed in Hamra Village , rooms were decent and clean however always faced issues with the lighting and the room itself didnt have lights , just 3 lamps to light up the entire room.The pool and massage center were really good and an extremely pleasant vibe to it and the English pub is also really nice.Service was quite slow at times , would have to wait about 30 minutes to recieve sugar in the morning. Got a lovely view of the golf course , but it was covered by trees. Balcony outside was very dark at night as there was just one light on the side.Some of the pictures on Agoda can be quite misleading , however a pleasant stay:)

The hotel building is beautiful in itself. The rooms are good, not what youll expect from a hotel of this rating though. There a lot of activities to do around on the beach and the area is really good.

Great place, Good staff and good service. Lunch and Dinner was OK and could have some Indian veg dishes and hot Rotis. Bar was good.

Residence.Excellent food. Opinion it’s all over the same is fake. Nice swimming pools with free towels. Pools just next to beach. Drinks served in the beach. Spacey, good standard rooms. Kindly service. I take 1 star away for lack of adults entertaiments and too small dinning area.

First of all we were reserved to a sister concern but they accommodated us here and even gave us an upgrade. The staff helped to keep us well-informed. The rooms were quite clean and the washrooms were speck and tidy. The beds were well made giving us that wow-factor. We stayed at the Single bedroom suite that had kitchen and a separate bedroom with 1 toilet and 1 washroom. We had a view towards the beach that was breath taking and we stayed at the 7th floor. No air conditioning issues were found, we stayed during the hottest August days.

– Studio room was larger than i expected, however the bed is small for a kid in bed with the family.Beach flag was purple that means there is risk of jelly fish which we actually saw much of them kn shore.Rooms with balconies are limited. But you have a full panoramic view side instead.Requested for an upgrade to deluxe studio with and it was available, we moved at 10pm to the new place smoothly, with a little amount as extra charges, actually was cheaper than an addditional bed cost. And the deluxe studio was unbelievably big and beyond expectations.All inclusive is worthy and literally includes a special all inclusive menu applicable at all restaurants and bars any time. All meals inclusive at all restaurants.

Beautiful grounds, but could use some additional maintenance. We stayed at the village area which is a short walk/drive down the road. Long white sand beach with room for activities and lounging. Nice pool area that was quite busy (Late-January). The sand is quite rough and full of shells. Changing rooms available on the beach or in the bathroom inside the hotel.

Very quiet place at Al Hamra Villages, friendly staff and an ambiance that reminds you of some old village with its unique style and wooden furniture. Highly recommend it for relaxation purposes. The residences are busiest but nice clean pools, spacious and there is something for everyone to do

We visited Al Hamra Residence & Village to celebrate our 2nd Wedding Anniversary and it did not disappoint. We are very happy indeed and would definitely come back here again.Beautiful ambiance and location, very relaxing and soothing to its guests. Rooms are well maintained, clean and very homey making the customers stay really worthwhile. Staff all around the area are very accommodating and welcoming, ensuring that they provide the customers needs and exceeds expectations.Would like to commend the following staff for making us happy during our stay - Melody from reception for ensuring that we get a good room location and was kind enough to upgrade us as well. Gene and Agnes from the Village restaurant where we had breakfast. To all the staff at the reception desk who provided all our requests and even surprised us with an anniversary cake which was lovely.There is a wide variety of activities to choose from enabling the customers to fully maximize their stay. From water activities to just relaxing by the pool. We were very much fascinated with the interiors and architectural designs of the villages/chalets as well as the different restaurants within the area. It made us reminisce of the other countries we have visited and made us feel we were in a different area.Overall, we are very much happy with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to our family and friends. This hotel was very good, but now its becoming old, management of this hotel are not doing good at all.

This hotel overcharged us than the original booking amount. We were forced to pay because the booking was non-refundable. Otherwise we would have cancel the booking and leave. There were few other travellers felt in to the same trap without much of a choice so avoid this horrible place. Whole experience ruined our holiday completely.

Check in long. Did not offer a seat through the entire process though I was 9 months pregnant. No smile or eye contact. Excellent facilities, OK breakfast. Second time there.

Stayed at the Village. No air conditioned spaces unless you went to Reception or got the shuttle to the Residence, but no lounge areas there either unless you sat outside the dining room. You walked down stairs from your room and straight out of the hall into the stifling heat. Rooms were okay but rather tired with not much drawer space and no luggage carriers. Bed was comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Pool looked okay but no shade and the sunbed cushions were filthy and disgusting looking. Taxis readily available to take you to the Al Hamra Mall for 6AED about £1.30. We wouldnt stay there again.

Very warm and welcoming staff. Food was good and so were the facilities. However I was surprised with the scroggy toiletries and the power kept tripping while using any appliances. Otherwise a good experience

If youre staying in this hotel, make sure youre in good company that cooks and plays board games. The breakfast is the worst- let a lot how crowded it gets.There isnt much to entertain yourself in this island, other than the yocht trip. The best thing about this hotel that sweet rooms has kitchens and two small stores that can be used as bedrooms.

Spent a weekend in a one bedroom suite in September.I will start by saying the room and the see view from it are top choice! The room is spacious and well organized, clean and make you feel like home.The service level of the all the team are a different level. We booked one weekend for our anniversary, walked into the room to find a very beautiful flowers bed setup, with a card from the house keeping team. Just after we arrived, a complimentary cake was served to the room.The pools and beach area is very clean, and feels safe for the young ones and joyful for adults. The food served at the pool is very good, again the service team were top! Although the food took a bit longer than expected but was very well presented and tasted yummi.You can feel the family environment in this place and i had great times with hubby and our little daughter. Recommended if you are looking for a gateway for your family that is affordable and luxurious at the same time.

Staff was pleasant and courteous. Various activities there and pool for kids. Awesome view of beach from the eighth floor and the beach was very clean. Enjoyed my stay there.

It is ok as a place to stay, the rooms are nice especially if you are near to the swimming pool. The only disappointing factor is the breakfast but you can have at another nearby hotel.The food in the English pub is good and can recommend the English Shepards pie.

It is an average hotel with great value. Breakfast was horrible though. But still loved the stay at the village residence.

Customer service was second to none. Great value. Stayed here as a couple for my partners 30th birthday. The staff were excellent.

Al Hamra Residence is superb, with an attached beach, two pools and plenty of activities, but the Village portion is just ok. The Village portion doesnt seem like a five star property. It was like a 3/4* property.

Super spacious rooms. We got a junior suite it has a separate sitting area connected to the large bedroom. Also has a terrace that opens up to a small garden area. Swimming pool, a cosy pub with billiards. The village restaurant with bufget breakfast lunch and dinner is also in this area. As a guest in the residence or village you can use the facilities in both place. A nice beach is there at the residence with lots of water sport activities.

Al Hamra Village is very nice and cozy. I was amazed that Ms.Maria, their receptionist was very polite on the phone and was helping me with the modification for my booking.upon arrival in the property, Ms Melody was handling us and I can say that they have handed over the tasks properly after shifts. She gave me a very satisfying welcome and she gave us a very nice room with a very nice view and relaxing ambience. Mr Manju and Mr Jawad were very quick and polite in answering our room requests. Keep up the good job guys.. KUDOS to All of u! Will surely come back and will bring more friends. Thank you for your service.

A hotel thats busy and does pay attention to details...expensive ...but does not provide the standard of a 5 star hotel.The staff are generally kind ...the beach us awesome...service is slow.

Stayed here for a night . The first room we got smelled horrible and there was water leak in the kitchen and the AC did not work. We complained and first they sent someone to fix the smell which they tried by spraying some kind of scented freshener around the place. And when that didnt work they offered to switch rooms. This time the smell and leak was gone but the AC did not work here as well in the living room. Thankfully the bedroom AC was fine and we managed to spend the night with that.The positives - the food was decent and the beach and pool were nice.Probably wouldnt go back though.

Rooms are ok, not amazing. 3 bedroom villa only has two mugs, no hairdryer, no other cutlery in a fully fitted kitchen. Plenty of amenities and very friendly staff.

Nice and quite environment for after busy working week and spacious rooms as well.The only thing that the swimming pool water was very hot and me and my kids didnt enjoy the swimming pool at all.

In general the hotel is beautiful but swimming pool wasnt working and the second one was not realy clean .Water is not included to dinner which is really weird .

Cheating ads to get you inside the hotel. Please make sure to book your room type inside the residence . Later even you pay extra they will kick you inside the village ..saying the room type you booked only in village . How can we know the room type wither in residence or village unless you been there before. The washroom was not clean even after the long waiting to get the room after 3:30pm

Beautiful room. We were in the village and the pool was outright dangerous. Tiles all round were like walking on ice with wet feet and all three steps were broken to get out. There is about a foot from waterline to top to very hard to get out. Breakfast was in the residence so have to drive to get it!

The accommodation in the village part of the resort is quite basic but clean and ok to stay. All the facilities (pool, beach, restaurants, bars) of the residence and the village are shared and accessible to all guests. The quality and variety of food was great and in my opinion the strongest point was the caring and ready to help staff. Especially one of them named Yeti (in case management reads this and wants to reward those making the stay enjoyable). Weaker part was the animation program, with no ability to attract crowd to whatever activity even from the minimum that was offered and playing really dull pop music. The paid activities like boats were overpriced (or not not available at all because of damaged sailing boat) and it was annoying that the hotel shuttle to Dubai was fully booked since our arrival to the end of the stay and the reception even havent considered doing something about it. Summary: It was a good holiday.
