Indeed, due to the pandemic this industry faced a lot of setbacks and as a result could not provide adequate service immediately. However, that is perfectly understandable. Having said that, I must profusely thank Sandeep and team from Cleartrip for having kept in touch with me throughout and regularly providing me with updates. I have finally received the refund. Thank you. It wasnt the most ideal situation, but thank you for maintaining your professionalism.

I was in touch with the customer service last June 14, 2021 and they said I have to wait for 45 days to get an update/to get the refund. I called today and I was told to wait 2-4 hours for a call back. I was told the same thing a couple of times but no one called.UPDATE: 23-09-2021Clear Trip ID # 200307582918. The experience with Clear Trip and Oman Airways has been a NIGHTMARE. After my flight got cancelled due to COVID travel restrictions in December 2020, it has taken 1.5 years to get a refund. I made nonstop calls and they all said the refund can only be processed after a year. In December of 2021 I finally called them that it had been a year, they kept saying they are waiting for the airline. Yesterday (September 2021 - TWENTY ONE MONTHS) after my flight got cancelled, I finally got my refund.My refund was 33 AED from 1100 AED How that’s even possible?Worse experience ever.Trip ID 191219215488)

They are the worst! NEVER BOOK WITH THEM!I have cancelled my flight on 11th July 2021 and till date the refund is not processed by them even after multiple follow ups. Every time they will give a different statement and will never follow up from their end.While cancelling my booking, they were so adamant for charging the cancellation fee but even after charging me with cancellation fee they failed to refund me the remaining amount till now.On 08.09.21 they sent me an email stating that my refund is authorized by the airline(Over the phone the guy said it will be processed next week but didnt mentioned that thing in email) and when i called them today they said the airline has yet not authorized it, so now all those who read it can imagine what kind of service they provide and is it worth booking through them.I will honestly suggest to directly book with airlines because if you cancel your flight clear trip will always give the excuse that Airline has kept the refund on hold while the irony is we booked and paid to clear trip and not the airline and its their basic responsibility to get the refund done with-in due time.Trip ID is :- 210626935030

ClearTrip are sneaking when there is refund issues. They claim that trying to call you .. and amazingly they ask you to call their Indian call center +91. And in middle of conversation it shuts down the phone.. Since July am struggling to get my refund.. and there is no easy direct way to call any supervisors.. the one on Facebook is the one who reply on emails .. !

I know i will not get any response here also coz these cheaters will only reply to the positive reviews... I have a horrible experience with clear trip team. There is no way whatsoever to reach their customer support team. No call no chat nothing. Nada zilch zero. This has to be the worst customer service in this kind of business. They will literally lie to you saying we tried to reach u but you did not answer when they clearly never tried to call u. I really really really want if i could take some legal action against this lying company for cheating people and not giving any accurate info.

Have been using them for a decade.. Have never faced an hassle until now due to the pandemic. I am sure I am not the only one as a customer who faced such challenges, however the Twitter handle of the agency was very helpful to resolve my issue with 3 hours which I was trying for 10 days by writing emails to the customer support team. My trip ID is 210727568906, my tickets were voided by Cleartrip for unknown reasons and I still havent received my refund. I follow up daily by emails, calls and Twitter messages and have requested for the swift message but no update as they provide me with a reference number which is incorrect as per by bank. I was told the refund was initiated on 28th July 2021 and still havent received it. My bank says there is no amount that has been sent to my account. Everytime I call Cleartrip, they say provide us with 72 hours and we will call you back, but I am the one running behind them and begging them for my money. Up until now I have no update on why my tickets were voided by Cleartrip and where is my refund, even though I lost money on insurance which I am not getting back because Cleartrip is the one who voided the tickets and insurance is not refundable. Please look into this.

Very poor service. Dont book ticket via them. Im struggling now for getting the refund amount. Very very poor service from customer service.I have booked a flight ticket from cleartrip by paying AED 3,620/-( Trip id: 210731696998, PNR -JP2KYN)). And I re-scheduled my ticket date from 11th Aug to 26th Aug(PNR-MSF3GR). The cost for the res-scheduling fare was less and they give me a confirmation email that Initial re-scheduling refund balance amount (11th Aug) - AED 1468 will be refunded to my account within 5 to 7 days. But still, the amount is not yet credited to my account.After that, I canceled my ticket for the 26th Aug and I got the confirmation from their team that the current cancellation refund amount (20th Aug) - AED 1392 will be credited to my account within 5 to 7 days.  But I received a refund amount of AED 892 only. I raised a complaint to clear the trip (CASE ID: 12934830). But no action has been taken yet. It’s been almost 2 weeks gone I‘m chasing for the refund and they are just simply saying every week that we are checking with Indigo and wait for another 1 more week which is wrong I already got confirmation from Indigo that they had already paid the refund amount.  Cleartrip is playing with the customer without taking action.Total amount to be refunded: AED 2860/-The amount credited - 892. Balance to be paid( 2860-892): AED 1968/-Refer attached summary sheet photo which will understand how much amount they are fooling customer.

Informed them partial cancellation of ticket. Instead they cancel all passenger ticket. I got partial cancellation confirmation but I checked with airline they informed all passengers ticket cancelled and now last two days cleartrip no response. When we calling customer care they just hold the call and disconnet the call.

This is the worst services ever i have got in my entire life. I have booked ticket on feb2020 (trip id 200203753694 ) and because of covid 19 airline canceled my ticket and when i contact clear trip customer support they told me that you have to wait one year to get the refund back as ticket has to get cancelled from airline.Now its been one year and six month they are holding my money and when i approach them on twitter they are giving my false hopes every time that they are investigating my case.Imagine its been one year and six month how come a company like this can operate in dubai.I am posting their robotic response on twitter for a reference.

THE WORST EVER!!!!! If negative stars exist, this is what I would have given them. I am still waiting for my refund for a long time. It has been a year! They keep dragging things and was not transparent at all. A lot of excuses and did not even communicate with me for updates or anything. After numerous attempts at calling in and requesting the remaining refund that is owed me to I receive false emails indicating my additional refund has been paid but is not reflecting, I am told to wait again and again and eventually a call drops in my face. This is the worst ever experience with a booking agent. Taking my money for their personal gains. If an airline cancels a flight then airline charges shouldn’t be applicable as the airline refunds them the full amount which is then owed to me less processing fees and convenience fees. Story continues, seriously again I repeat you don’t understand what you write just copy paste and NO ZERO courtesy to call customer to even understand.I still stand by my point , you gave me same ARN number stating you refunded to my original credit card on April 2021 and then I proved to you that I had already informed you that the subject credit card was closed by the bank in October 2020 so how can you refund into a non existent card . The worst company I have ever experienced!!! People please be aware of their tricks and lies. I booked a return ticket from Tashkent to Dubai in April with cleartrip and had a horrible customer experience while getting my refund. They first said I would get my refund within 60 days. But even after 100 days I still can not get my refund. Everytime you call them theyll promise you to give a callback within 48 hours and they never call back. They lied to me twice directly on my face. After I proved they were lying the operator said to me that he felt sorry for me and promised to resolve my issue within 48 hours again. But he or anyone else never called me within that promised 48 hours. When I myself called after 3 days another operator said she also feels sorry for me. All they do for you is to promise to call back in 48 hours. And finally after 4 months of continiously following up what they told me was absolutely shocking. They told me that I had to call the Airlines directly to receive my refund. I did not know that this company makes money like that from customers by cheating and lying. Now I will never buy ticket from cleartrip and any other indian companies. People please dont fall victim to these kind of liars. It is with great regret I am writing this review to make it known the mishandling of client concerns. I usually use cleartrip platform, to make bookings. but unfortunately, last October 2020, i made an incorrect booking by choosing incorrect outbound flight for Emirates airlines. Having realized the mistake , I called them immediately and cancelled my booking . I was assured my amount would be refunded within 90 days and since then i have been following up repeatedly with no response from their end. Being a frequent traveller, I have completely stopped using cleartrip and have been using other travel agencies to make the bookings which are equally user friendly and more professional and customer oriented.

The reason am giving two stars is at least because of the polite way whoever responds to my calls talks to me, I have held talks with about 5 different responders, but the actual fact remains that they have been giving me conflicting response for the refund of trip ID 210501164752. Is been 70 days plus now and nothing yet. Despite the conflicting timings from different responders, I had chosen to take the longest one just so I dont stress myself, but yet the date has long passed with no refund. The first email wrote that I was going to get some charges deducted and refund will be made after 12 days. That came and gone, after calling, another person said it was 60 days from the date of cancelation for the refund to be completed, which I got an email confirming the date of cancelation on the same date I paid and canceled the ticket, that has come and gone, nothing yet. Another individual claimed by the end of this past week, he was going to saught it out and will definitely call me, that has come and gone. Now, I understand you guys at clear Trip has a lot to deal with concerning situation like these because you are the middle men, but these false promises from you guys is alarming and disrespectful. We are humans and not a lot is certain in life, same way something came up for me to cancel my trip, I also know something may happen between you guys and the airlines in getting the refund back on time, the most important thing here is accuracy and proper layout of informations, so your clients know exactly what to expect. So with all being said, i expect whoever in clear Trip that sees this, looks in to my refund case and give me an accurate date to expect the refund, or the next time I call, I want a proper diagnosis of my case and be presented with an accurate date or expected period of days to get it. EDIT - after 8 days of original review. Trip ID - 210609608830.So far in these 8 days, only response from them is that we are working on it and we will sort it out ASAP in 24-48 hours. But 8 days is way more than 48 hours. Once i received a call from them, which unfortunately i missed and tried to return as well, but it goes on endless IVR loop. Its only they who can contact them, we cannot contact them in any way.Atleast someone from Cleartrip please TALK TO ME so that i can get some clarity on my issue. Trip ID: 201214855112Worst ever experience with clear trip, will suggest not to go with it...My flight was changed by the airline and i got a phone call directly from the airline that as this change in flight is from the airline so you are eligible for fully refund or change the flight dates free of cost and i decided to go for the refund as I was planning to use a different airline. Immediately after the cancellation of tickets i call to clear trip for refund they sad it ill take around 60 days for refund.all most 60 days finish now they are telling airline not replying call after 48 hours still same i am very disappointed from clear trip from now i will stop to buy ticket from them.

The customer service of clear trip is of poor quality.I wish to share my experience with the public and request you all not to choose cleartrip to book your tickets.I had booked four tickets of Etihad Airways which got cancelled by the airways due to the pandamic restrictions.The clear trip customer service department misguided me and forced me to utilize the same tickets in future.They even told me that i will have to travel by business class and pay them extra.When I contacted the airways they informed me that I was eligible to get the refund for my tickets because the airlines had returned the money to cleartrip authorities.After this when ever I try contacting the cleartrip customer service they either say that Ihave entered wrong ID or the call gets disconnected.

Trip ID 190409485048 - part used from Delhi to Lucknow. Other part of Dehradun to Delhi for Jet Airways was not used due to suspension of all flights of Jet AirwaysMost thirdclass and pathetic in terms of providing service. They will not leave a smallest place to get noticed through Advertisement but when comes for customer service - worst one.Sent several email as well as raised complaints online, through app etc. regarding refund of my money for Jet Airways around 2 years before but never get a single response. I do understand Jet Airways has gone bankrupt but at least Cleartrip should keep updating - either through general notification or otherwise, about whats happening on that front and what is the latest update. Getting absolutely no response is the worst. Besides, in UAE, recently found one contact no. but it is also completely automated regarding new and existing booking status only so you cannot reach out to any customer service agent. Never to go through such agents but rather book tickets online from respective Airline website - almost same price anyway

Till date the clear trip is not responding and when I call the call center they required 24 to 48 hours all the time when I call for payment. The management of clear trip is not providing any response. I have decided not to book any tickets through clear trip . Worth ever travel agent on the planet, i think they also cheat people while generating refunds. Its been over a year my flights are cancelled due to covid and still i have not received my refund. Everybody from cleartrip either lying or not sending the right information. i have reported this to dubai consumer rights, let us know if there any gov platform i can use to highlight this in dubai?

Absolutely Terrible !I am giving one star since I can not give 0 stars or negative ratings.I have been a regular customer since last 4 years or probably more. Whilst my previous experiences were alright but I really struggled with my latest transaction. I cancelled one ticket well ahead of time and whilst their website mentions a minimal cancellation charges, these guys deducted more than 60% of my money for cancellation. I have spoken to them over 4-5 times but no clear or proper response. Their representatives confirm that they would call back in 24 hours but it never happens.I have been a very regular customer but moving forward never ever using them. Absolutely pathetic service and frustrating after service response.Trio ID: 201213835106Update: I was once again on line with a customer service representative and I had requested to speak to his superior. The lad forgot to put me on mute and I could literally hear his superior speaking to him and then I was put on mute and later told “Sir all our superiors are busy, we will arrange a call back”.I don’t understand why I need to beg for my own money.

Dear Cleartrip Management,I have cancelled a trip 5 days before check in and was told by your respective team that I booked a non-refundable booking and hotel is charging 90% of fees.Please advise that your terms and conditions online at time of booking advised that cancellation is via hotel rules. I booked a flight for 27th April 2020 (Trip ID 200307585540). The flight was cancelled due to Covid 19 restrictions. Further to which i was only able to cancel the ticket in July 2020 (see attached photo) and request a refund. However the refund request was not registered within the system. I had to request for refund again in Jan 2021.It has been 5 months now, and i am yet to receive the refund. Upon contacting clear-trip customer center, I always get a generic response like the team is reading out from a book of standard defensive lines stating the below We would like to inform you that, we have already send a Refund Application to Airline. Unfortunately, we havent received a reply from Airline yet. Our team is following up with the airline regularly, we will keep you posted as soon as we receive a response.I requested the team to give me a definitive date to when i will get the refund or at least a different response; to my surprise the CC rep just hung up the call.this is the worst experience i have faced with anyone for a refund. its been over a year since the actual flight was cancelled, and yet the refund for the cancelled flight has not been issued.if i had invested the amount somewhere else, i would have been gaining interest for its value. I am thinking of filing a case with the local government consumer forum due to the delay.UPDATE date 13th May 2021 :Received an updated email from cleartrip (screenshot attached). I clearly stated in my previous review that there is no change in the response that is provided. The team has proved me right by providing the same response again in an update to the status request.What do i need to do to get my money back which i worked hard for? File an official case through the Government consumer forum ? Sure. I guess thats the only way to proceed then.UPDATE date 8th August 2021 :still no refund. its been 8 months now since the request has been issued to the airline, but still no refund has been processed !!

As I never faced any flight suspension or cancellation, the experience was good but recently my flight was suspended and from there the experience is worst. I didn’t get any updates from cleartrip.I have never ever had a such pathetic experience in my life with any other travel booking companies. It’s been few days, I am trying to login cleartrip app , trying to login through the support and trying to contact call center. Nothing is working. Cleartrip is closed?
