I have applied for a visa for my mom to come for a medical treatment in the UAE. Almost 10 days passed and still no answer. The processing time as mentioned is 2-4 working days. I find that so frustrating and unprofessional. Im highly disappointed. High rates and a very bad service.

Fantastic service and ambience. Staff was cooperative and soft spoken. They try to help at their best. Though new staff has less knowledge and took time to solve the query but no doubt they were polite and did everything they could do to help. I wish them good luck.

Amer 247 is a Semi Government Organization, which allows residents to complete all Visa and Residency transactions. Amer centers were launched by Dubai GDRFA to simplify transactions and increase efficiency to achieve customer happiness.

The staff in this Amer center are very polite and swift in their work. The customer service manager Mr. Raseel was very helpful in clearing hurdles in the application process, as a result my application got processed very quickly. Best Amer center I have visited so far !!

Excellent service 🤩. One of the fastest and most efficient government services I have ever encountered in Dubai. Very bad service and location, last 2 year I went to make medical for my wife instead they make for me , even I gave them her id and documents.This year I went to give them my new born docs to make him visa , they make wrong spelling for the name and religion and ASKING ME TO PAY.No one care there , very bad location.

I had visited for visa renewal, but due to some confusion it was applied for as a new visa. It took a whole process and multiple visits to sort this out - frustrating and time consuming.However, I do want to mention Hassan (I think thats his name, and he is the supervisor) for being so excellent in the way he handled everything. Courteous, polite and very efficient in the way he dealt with this. A big thank you!

Fairly new place. Came here for establishment card renewal and visa renewal. The staff is very helpful and attended to my queries promptly. All work done in one place and without delays. Make sure to ask for Abdul Kadir who has good knowledge of the system as well.

Excellent Experience from amer centre Karama!I went to so many amer centers, but this place is far better . Here staff are very efficient. They solved my visa problems so fast.I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the center ,coffee and refreshment facilities in this center.The options were very quickly explained. The payment method also. In many centers card swiping option was no there. But here, we have card swiping option .its very useful .Great work !!keep it up 😊

I wish, I could give more than just 5 stars. Lets start from the welcome and appearance- The centre is clean and keeps in mind the Covid restrictions. The staff here are very kind and go over the extra mile to help. They are willing to chat on whatsap and update you on your doc requirements. I want to make a special mention to Sultan and Mona for their personalized involvement in providing Amer services. Certainly feels positive and happy in this environment. They are there to help... you can relax and ensure that if you follow their guidleines and requirements as asked, that your application will come through. KUDOS!! to this centre.

Went to submit change status application, and there was a fine. Just inquired from the counter04 lady if I can know the number of days for the fine. She said “you want to pay or not?” Very aggressive and aggressive body language. Poor courtesy.Other staff very welcoming.

Very disappointed, I went to do the merge of UID number, the gentleman, who I believe is a supervisor (based on the nameplate) took the two visa copies with different UID number, scanned them and did some fiddling with the keyboard and said done, and will be updated in 24 hours, I checked with him if I have to pay anything and thank him profusely but till date nothing happened. Today I went to another Ameer center, they immediately told me that they will charge me Aed 75 to do the needful, took my mobile number and email. Immediately after that I got the messageprocc from smartchannel that my request is under process. I think the gentleman in Karama didn’t even bothered to check my phone number and email, I think he didn’t complete the process.

I wish i could give less than 1 Star,Staff are not aware about any App which is develop by GDRFAD, even i showed them app which says visit nearest Amer, but staff dont known anything,Again they take long time to submit document, and i saw people are yelling that they have to visit again and again as application are getting resubmission of supporting document,I have applied for my daughters Visa on13th JanBy submitting all supporting document, and got an email from Smart Channel More documents required for Renew Residency where document was same, when i tried reaching call center on 8005111 they advised me to visit same branch,14th Janagain i submitted my document on next day, and again received message More documents required for Renew Residency on 19th Jan morning.Its an request to Amer,kindly support people who are visiting Amer Center, and try to improve service as advertise,Still i am struggling to get it done.

1st visit for visa stamping the person responsible being available refused to do the job because it was 3:55 pm and he gets off at 4:00 pm so was asked to visit next day came today at 1:30 pm and the guy is no where to be found and they charged me the money already so I have to wait and they keep telling me he is coming he is coming now it’s 3:15 the point is when someone doesn’t want to work then why not an eligible person on the post why do incompetent people get such important positions I have had such experiences many times at many government places this time wanted to share

Less crowded, quick service no long waiting

First time bad experience from any Amer Center.Visited this branch for EID typing and it was almost empty with around 8 staffs either busy with their phone or watching video in the computer. I waited half hour and only 3 tokens were called with around 8 staffs at different counters. Then I left and went to Amer center near Karama park and finished my job in 20mins.

Anybody know where is the main immigration office in burdubai ???

A very unpleasant experience. Waited for almost 3 hours to receive my passport. No clear communication or update from the staff. This despite opting for an urgent status. The stamping was held up as the officer was not available.

Due to Covid-19 visa is delayed for my daughter and they said go to Al Awir and fines will be waived. Al Awir saying go to Amer this is happening since 5 days now. In the end, Amer is saying 1,000 AED fine is too low and we will not file the application. I have already paid AED 1,000 fine for Emirates ID, despite announcements that there is grace period. My daughter normal visa time was up to April 9 2020, if this was the only resolution why they asked me to go to Al Awir back again.We went to Al Awir they said go back to Amer, went to Al Qusais they said fines have to be paid.I clearly asked the guy please guide correctly as already been to Al Awir immigration.Atleast be honest and don’t misguide and waste other people time.
