Poor service and no follow-up from the manager in the event of complaints. Worst experience ever

This is the second time they have ruined an item which was brought for fixing. First it was sandals now a handbag. Asked for a small stitch and charged 85aed for literally 1cm stitch. Retuned the bag with a cut up shorter strap and a rectangle of visible stitching. It’s a designer bag which now requires a new strap which cannot be sourced.refused to refund for the botched job. Don’t bring your stuff there.

I had a pair of loafers polished and repaired with The Cobbler and, after an initial miscommunication on the work I wanted doing, I am very happy with the quality of what they have done and the way the team handled the miscommunication, very professional. I highly recommend them and will be using them again.

I visited the shop earlier to pick up my shoes. Very satisfied with the full resoling done on my shoes. I keep bringing my pairs to the cobbler because of the great job they always do. Great value for my money and its high quality!

Great service and they take really good care of the shoes. I gave them my wedding shoes for cleaning that I had only wore on by wedding but had become very dirty and I was a bit scared that they may get damaged but they guaranteed me they would take good care of the shoes. The shoes came back looking way better and had a lovely scent too. Impressed!! Highly recommend them :)

I brought in my light brown oxfords that were looking worn out and the colour was now completely faded. The guys in the shop recommended I do Patina on the shoes. Its like i just bought a new pair of shoes. Excellent Patina experts. I highly recommend them especially if you are looking for a unique pair of shoes.

I am their customer since long time and I am very upset on the way they treat people if there is an issue! Very rude staff.They damaged my Louboutin shoes and they refuse to offer a compensation for the damage done! I have before and after picture - it is clear the damage was done in their workshop and it is ridiculous they do not apologies nor provide a compensation! Very bad experience, I wont recommend to handover your luxury items.

Just like to share my absolutely unpleasant experience with the services. Sole of shoe felt apart after I put its on for very first time after receiving from Cobbler and they not only apologized- instead they asking to pay another 105 aed ( on top 380 previous charges)!!!

Good heel restoration on my shoes that had been ruined, the leather on the heel was completely worn out and now they look perfect. Good job guys! Also loved the service I got in the store, I could tell I was talking to experts.

I ordered their service online for simple repair and cleaning of my Burberry shoes. I called them myself to clarify the pick up and delivery timings, after they dismissed my email. Customer care representative Natalie was absolutely useless. All what she did is repeated that they will do service according to their policies and they don’t work on weekends and close at 6 so can deliver or pick during the business time only. So if you are in the office you should take shoes with you and same they will deliver to office(on unspecified timing).,as like at work you can just sit 4 hours and wait whenever they decide to come. After I had no choice but to agree, the courier came empty handed to pick my shoes without giving any receipt or paper that he collects 2000aed worth shoes. I called them asking what if this guy will loose or damage or do any misplace for shoes - they said it’s not their responsibility, it’s 3d party company. The way how Natalie and her unnamed colleague spoken to me, I can’t even express. I was shocked. It felt like I’m not a customer who paid money already but someone who owes them! They didn’t let me say a word and continued their monologue “read terms and conditions- we don’t take responsibility-we don’t have time to stay on the phone with you- we will hang up now”. I’ve submitted complaint to consumer rights and informed them. After they sent the email that they won’t do the job because I complained on their business and they will make a refund and deliver shoes back. For pick up and delivery they will take a change stats their website. No refund information provided. I don’t understand how owner of the business can let her employees to be such aggressive and unresponsive, many people mentioned this and this is very true! I can’t imagine something like this in Europe. This place shouldn’t be in Dubai Mall.

My experience with the Cobler has been a disaster, they take the money first because they know that they will end up damaging your shoes.i handed over a pair of brown Dior shoes for color restoration and i got a disaster back that is only good for the dust bin and in the same order i had a pair Loubutins for only sole replacement that came back with a red rubber sole!i also sent a pair of brand new Jimmy choos for size adjustment, came back dirty and no size adjustments done!when i brough them to their attention they said they will fix it and if im not happy they will refund my money, not only it back worst and with glue marks on top of my shoes also they will not refund anything because according to Mr Biniam and Ms Amal who are the managers its a perfect job!so you can imagine their standards,i will attach photos for anyone wanting to use their services.these photos are after restoration!

Amazing Job. I thought my bag was ruined. I tried The Cobbler and they recommended bag restoration to black on my green patent bag. The result is brilliant.

At first I find it difficult to make it to their stores due to operating hours. But when I went to their website, the chat box solved all my worries. Natalie was very prompt and professional with my requirements. My shoes and bag was picked up. Payment was done with ease online. My shoes were restored like brand new. The brown repetto shoe was really worn out and the toe part was faded. It came back like as if nothing happened to the leather. My other repetto shoe needed some stitching, they did that and restored the form of the material. Needless to say, I am so happy. The note that came with my shoes when it was delivered was a nice gesture!. Cant wait to see my Prada bag!

When moving to Dubai I was unsure who would take care of my Berluti shoes – It used to be my trusted cobbler in Paris. A friend recommended me to The Cobbler and I was told that their cobbler is French. I did a full resoling and am very happy about the job, they have even changed the laces, cleaned and shined the shoes for free. Great job and great expertise in store, the person who attended me in the DIFC is a gentleman.

My heels had stains which couldnt be fixed. I took them to The Cobbler and they recommended dyeing the shoes to black. They came back looking like brand new shoes.

I ask them to stretch my dress shoes and after 2 weeks no update then I went to to found out its ready. The saddest part when I reach home I just found out that the shoes has not been stretch! So I paid for nothing!

Beautiful restoration done on my bag. I changed the colour from off white to blue, now it looks like a brand new bag.

Gave 3 of my shoes in for a full leather rejuvenation and got shoes back with a c grade shoe shine done. the lady that works at the galleria store is extremely dry and im pretty sure customer service is not one of their expertise at this store !. i am extremely unhappy with the quality of services i received and the grade of craftsmanship they claim to have. i would not recommend spending that kind of money in this store.

They did a very good job in changing the old soles on my shoes and replacing them with new leather soles. The shoes look as good as new now.

I always bring my shoes to them for cleaning and repairs. They never disappoint :)

I gave them 2 heels to fix, usually they are good in fixing and hence why I keep coming back. They had a misunderstanding between their internal operations as I asked I will pick the shoes up from DIFC and they told me its from Dubai Mall, finally after many calls they switched to DIFC. Then I realized that one shoe still was shaky and I have asked for it to be fixed. Had to return it.. And the audacity of the lady who called me saying if you want it to be shaky you can take it on Thursday (I gave it to them early that week with the promise it will be done ASAP (2-3 days) and if I want it well made then I will wait till Saturday! You need to train on how to speak to clients and not give ultimatums to seem as if you are serving them the best service when you clearly arent.

I use them for the regular upkeep of my shoes and they do a good job.

Ultimate shoe rescue place in DIFC Bespoke shoes, accessories for shoes and of course shoe repair. Good quality work, professional service, SMS reminders and e-receipts. Slightly overpriced in my opinion. Shop itself has great ambiance and decor - always a pleasure to visit.

Worst experience and service.I bought my wedding shoes from them and paid an additional fee to customize the colour. Three days later the colour changed to black and it was already too late..Overpriced for the service and quality they provide.

Those who wrote here that in terms of service they are the WORST are completely right. The problem with them that they are complete monopoly here otherwise they would run out of business.Every single time I gave them the shoes they failed to fix them on time. Simpliest operations might take them 6+ days. So, please, be aware that you CANT RELY on them at any times when you travel or want to have your shoes done by certain date.Also, smb mentioned above that he had explained them everything but they did it wrong. Also so much true! I personally came and explained, the receptionist told that everything was clear to him and after that they gave me call trying to ask my advice what to do. If you miss the call, they would never ever proceed with work even if you come to them after 1 month your shoes will be still there untouched and they will say, Sorry, we called you but you didnt pick up the phone so we didnt know what to do. Jesus, am I a shoe master to advise you?Dont expect also responsiveness, like phone will be not answered or if you come in the afternoon to pick your shoes they would tell you to come later because the receptionist is having lunch break. What sort of business is that?

My Valentino heels got trapped in the elevator, scratched and ruined. I did a “heel restoration” and they changed the leather of the heel, it is like the incident never happened! My shoes were ready in less than a week and I received an sms to inform me that they were ready to be collected. A nice first experience

High quality handmade shoes.

Bought shoes at The Cobbler for around AED 2500, after 6 months the stitching of 1 of the shoes came partially loose. Went to the store, they informed me that it couldnt be repaired partially but needed to redo the entire soles of both shoes at AED 600. I told them that this was not normal wear and tear, but that the stitching wasnt done properly and that I didnt expect for shoes in this price range to have this type of problem. They refused to take any responsibility,spoke to several persons and all insisted that I should pay AED 600 to have it fixed - I asked for at least a partial discount as a gesture, they refused. Informed them that they had lost a customer and went to their competition who repaired it for AED 400, and clearly demonstrated that it was a manufacturing issue ( the stitching was top of the sole, and not sunken or protected by a second sole) thus the thread of the stitching wore away by walking directly on it - this was a problem that could have easily been avoided using the right techniques. Conclusion, bad service on top of bad quality.

Good heel restoration on my shoes

Thank you cobbler team for your help. my heel was broken and they did a heel refix for me. I thought i had completely ruined the shoes but they found a solution for me by replacing the heels.

Not worths the price, 500 AED to fix small leather part in one bag and its not even done perfectlyAnd also paid 800 for another bag and it was very bad job, dont use them at all (they just take random black paint or whatever and apply, they damaged the bag and changed its real color, even though i asked to repair the bottom of the bag, they changed the whole color and the bag looks fake. Very very unprofessional and look how the black goes away from the bag just by wiping it with paper.

They turned a very expensive completely destroyed pair of shoes that i accidently stepped into salt water with back to life looking exceptionally good. A complete restoration all for a few hundred dirhams. Thank you Ben at the DIFC branch.

Good bag repair service

Possibly one of the worst experiences with a cobbler; they actually dont understand shoes and have no idea what theyre doing. They cant add a simple wedge to a shoe and ALL of their shoes are REALLY uncomfortable. If it werent for the marketing reviews on this page, this place would have a solid 1 star rating.

Worst customer service ever, damaged my brand new shoes and have the audacity to tell me they were damaged as I wore them for a fitting for 10 seconds. No manager was available in person, phone or email. Wouldnt recommend them for any expensive or patent shoes.

The worst service experience ever that I had from the cobbler in level !! The manager was just shouting at another customer in front of me and the customer was shocked and super polite ! I took my shoes back with me I would rather keep it broken instead of fixing it in this place !!! They amazed me with how rude they are !!! Hope that he was acting so just because its Halloween season because its Horrifying !!!
