β€οΈπ΅π° Iβve known this restaurant since 1990 when back in the day youβd pull up and park on sand outside and the waiters would come and take your order for the best tasting tandoori in town to take back home to Umm Suqeim which wax so quick and easy to reach! Love this restaurant for genuine service, great tasting food thatβs always consistent and a price thatβs more than fair. Keep up the good work guys we love you! ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»
π΅π°RΓ₯vi Restuarantπ΅π° does not need much of an introduction...One of the oldest food spots in Dubai, RAVI has earned its name & fame as one of the places that serve authentic #pakistanicuisine at pocket friendly rates with no compromise on taste....The story of a man hailing from Pakistan to work here & starting this venture in 1978, this legendary restuarant has made its mark for 42yrs now in delivering the best of Pakistan...The Peshawari Mutton Karhai, Chicken Tikka, Meethi Lassi & Handi were my favss but everying else was also pretty good.
One of the best restaurants in UAE in terms of taste and quality food. The restaurant itself is very normal one. Food we ordered were Chicken Biriyani, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Kadai and Tandoor Roti (Bread). All are very tasty. We absolutely loved it. They donβt serve Raitha with the biriyani rather you have to order it separately. Other special items are only available in the evening. We went for lunch so we couldnβt try those. RTA parking is there in front.
Unbelievable Pakistani food. I dont usually have this cuisine but its absolutely fantastic! The quality and quantity never ceases to amaze. The Nihari and Kebab are incredible. Highly recommended.
3/519th March 2021So came here for dinner with a few friends. Had to wait 20 mins as the restaurant was full.Got a table after 20 minutes. We ordered the Chicken Tikka (breast piece), Mutton Peshawar, Chicken Green masala and 2 Paratha. The paratha was very tasty, so was the mutton Peshawari. The chicken green masala felt a little bland for my taste. The chicken tikka was not as juicy as what I had 4-5 years ago.Would come back again, but this time I didnt quite like it.
Great place to get a taste of Pakistani food. Obviously, expect alot of goat / mutton in the dishes. For two people, we ordered the mutton peshwari (arguably their most popular dish), a mutton biryani, a salad, some roti and the butter naan. It was delicious and will be back. This place has a local vibe to it, so it might not be for everyone! Also parking may be tough right in front of the restaurant but note that there is a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant.
Easily one of the best Pakistani restaurants in Dubai. Its not high end but the food is close to the authentic desi food and the prices are low. The best items are mutton karahi, chicken tikka, Haleem and Nihari. Being located in satwa the traffic is high but we usually visited the place in the afternoon around 2 o clock and were able to find parking.
The OG of all the desi restaurants in Dubai.. This is where it all began. Most amazing desi food you can found in entire Dubai, with pretty decent prices. The maintain a very Pakistani/ Indian aka desi ambiance inside the restaurant and I love eating here. Everything from their Dal to Biryani to Chai to Chicken Karahi to vegetable dishes are finger licking good. If there is one desi restaurant you have time to visit while being in Dubai, this should be the one.
Was ok but seriously needs a refurbish. The food first time was good second time ordered chicken karai wasnβt tasty at all. The waiters bring you stuff you havenβt requested like the raita then expect you to pay for it. The chicken arrived lukewarm!
Pakistani restaurant catering to local residents at fair prices. Its popular for both dine-in and takeaway meals with two side-by-side locations - the older looking store seeming to be more so for takeaways and the newer venue for dine-in, although we decided to sit in the older area.Food-wise its ok for this calibre of restaurant, but in current times its disconcerting to see staff with a nearly complete disregard of covid safety measures with handling of food (such as picking up and wrapping bread) without gloves or sanitising, incorrect use of facemasks by most staff including food preparers, lack of social distancing, lack of cleaning/wiping of tables between diners and general lack of cleanliness.Service is also average - they get the job done but thats about it.
Best Pakistan food in dubai. Tasty, very good quality and price. Just the wash area is not that good and clean. And its hard to get a parking on evenings and weekends. Will have to park a bit far and walk.
I cannot recommend this place enough! It has some of the best authentic Pakistani food I have ever eaten. The foods is consistently fantastic and I always leave with a full stomach and a smile on my face. Its a must visit if you live in Dubai.
Surprisingly, d place was not crowded as before.Prices have not increased, remained same pre-pandamic level, but quality of food has gone down.
I have dined here quite a few times. I would be glad to give 4 stars but I am sorry to say that they have degraded the taste and quality of their food. And I can say that if they continue to do so, they might lose the charm theyve been able to build in years of effort.
Popular for non vegetarian food and Pakistani cousine
They have very delicious food with Pakistani taste..highly recommended for those whos looking for delicious Food in Dubai..
All time favourite to have a low budget meal with that same #pakistani taste for years and years.@ravirestaurantsuae which is been since 1972 the #uae development. How proud is to see that this restaurant is still stable and growing in people love and respect.Happy to support #smallbusiness.*NIHARI - βββββ*SEEKH KEBAB - ββββ*DAAL MASH - βββ*PESHAWARI CHICKEN - ββββ
Loved the food. Extremely affordable and really tasty food. Time for food preparation could be improved on. Other than that, it was very satisfying.
Good grilled chicken, kebab is tasty
Authentic food, no frills but delicious food. Will definitely be back x
Food is good. If the place was more tidy and organized properly it would be a very good place to dine.
Great food, but need to improve the cleaning. Just dirty all over. But very tasty food nonetheless. Please try to improve the cleaning
Amazing food, honest and reasonable price. Consistent food quality. You cannot go wrong. A must do in Dubai.
Very good service andVery tasty food
Amazing, authentic food. Freshly made and tasted so good. Excellent prices too. Love going there
Excellent place to eat with family. Nice desi food (Pakistani and Indian)stuff available. Mutton Peshawari is awesome
We had just moved over from the UK and were missing an authentic Indian meal. EVERYONE recommended Ravi and we were happy to try.Firstly, we ordered the food by phone. The ordering process was a mess. Half an hour later food had not arrived. We called and were told itβs was still being made. Phoned again after another 45 minutes and were told food is on the way. Another 30 minutes and the food arrived. By this time we were very hungry butβ¦The Biryani was not nicely flavoured, quite bland. The seekh kebab that is normally one dish that EVERY Indian restaurant does well was one of the worst kebabs Iβve ever had! There were pieces of raw ginger and garlic, it felt under seasoned and not properly cooked. The lamb curry was tough and greasy. To top off the experience we all had a bad stomach afterwards!I have been told itβs a great place but for me, this is the worst meal we have had in Dubai. I can cook better at home and have been making more curryβs and daals from my mums recipes instead. Karachi Grill was quite decent but thereβs are a lot of inauthentic Indian restaurants in Dubai and food is poor.
This is one of the best places in dubai for non veg , the chicken tikka is tasty , mutton kabab, Brain masala out of the world , keema nan , mutton peshawari is great as well , the service is quick quality of food is good and the taste is perfect you will eat so much and pay nothing great value for money of course the ambience is not high class but the food is amazing i would rate 5.5 to this restaurant.
I have been in love with their food since the first time I ate. My preference is the Chicken Peshawari with rice and the brain masala fry.Place may not seem to be nice but I definitely will continue to eat from RAVI as food is good.
Been coming here for years. One of the better places to experience Pakistani cuisine at its best. This visit was after a long gap. Great food and even better service. If you have not been here then plan a trip here. You wont be disappointed.
Heard a lot about its authentic Pakistani taste but found it extremely over rated. It was far too blande for the real Pakistani cuisine and on top of it, the food was flooded with oil. Yes the prices are very cheap but you can find hundred other restaurants serving much better Pakistani food at more or less the same price point. Never Again!!
Raviβs Satwa branch is the first and the best branch amongst its entire network. Their Peshawari Mutton and Kadhai Mutton are a must for all the mutton lovers.Itβs one of the best restaurants serving authentic Pakistani Food π±
Good quality of food. Quite high price. Service average.
Food is great but sometimes the service is not all there
Good restaurant but due to Covid the size n staff has been reduced....
Was not impressed as there was nothing on the menu that was available when we went around 5pm. Didnt get aerved any salad either.
This restaurant is amazing but be careful if you like bling bling than it wonβt be the right placeAll dishes are really deliciousHope to see the guys soon
Good restaurant in satwa.Very old and professional team are still behind this restaurant.Keeping the quality till today and this guys are never losing their regular customers.
Good desi food..with videsi crowd
Great food, great place and friendly staff.
Just tried paya it was really awesome, affordable price also. I think everybody know about Ravi since its very old hotel in Satwa as well as they are keeping reputation. Food is hygiene and taste.
A classic - mutton peshawari + roti is all you need to be happy
Best butter chicken anywhere! Inexpensive, clean Pakistani food. Taxi drivers fav....must be right!
Very slow services and response from staff in satwan branch but al Qusais and bur dubai is very professional and u will enjoy the food and services .
Very bad taste of mattan achari, mattan handi and matten pishawry. Very expensive compared to other restaurants.
Great affordable Indian food with a clean place to sit. Had glass panels to separate guests for covid. I enjoyed my time there very well
An icon - seating isnt fancy for breakfast. Tatse is authentic and service is excellent. Cleanliness and ambience is as good as you can expect from a below average priced place in Satwa. Breakfast highlight is The Channa with halwa Puri - no match to those Channas in the entire city.
It is not fancy, nice restaurant but you will find the authentic Pakistani cuisine!
This place is as old as dubai! Authentic clean pakistani cuisine! Best to ask foods of the day rather than choosing from menu.Staff are friendly and accommodative!Worth every penny :)As it gets crowded, be sure to share the table!
One of my favorite restaurant for traditional Pakistani food. Very delicious mutton peshawari and chicken tikka. Must try mutton biryani.
Such a great place, out of mainstream dubai and loved every second of Ravis. Stunning food and amazing prices.
Itβs not any more the same taste , bad service . Half of the Menu was not available and they served cold food . Really not worth it anymore
Hyped and overrated.Food is decent and staff is courteous
The best Pakistani/Indian comfort food in town. Simple, no frills, home style cooking
Cheap delicious Pakistani food - its usually pretty busy during dinner time but the wait is worth it!
Ravi restaurant food isnt like before as it use to be , chef changed or cost saving by taking less expensive raw materials so food taste went down, before it is to be one the best authentic indo-pak cuisines
I have frequented Ravis Satwa since 1998...A foundation of Dubais dining culture .Dont expect bells and whistles, bring an appetite and enjoy the breads
The restaurant was cramped and there were several items on the menu which were unavailable but the food was delicious! I would recommend this place for a inexpensive bite to eat. Frequented by a mixture of locals, visitors and expats. Donβt let the plastic table clothes and menus under the glass table toppers put you off - the fact that the place was busy says all you need to know! The food was absolutely delicious and ridiculously cheap. Portion sizes were huge and we left very happy. The waiter needs to smile more!
Good food good price and the staff is really professional
Her food is good, especially Halim
Of course, initially the Al Jaffilya area might look a bit rough once you got yourself immersed a bit too long in the shiny and all done up (yet terribly superficial !) most touristic part of Dubai, but life, there, is a lot more genuine -and therefore- cheaper. So at Raviβs restaurant, for pretty much the same amount of money you would spend (or rather not...!) on just one pathetic coffee at Starbucks at the Dubai Mall, you will end up with great portions of gorgeous and fresh Pakistani / Indian food.
Very poor quality. I specially went there from Mirdiff to try Lahori Channay and Haleem. Everything was pathetic, Nan quality was poor as well.
Cleanliness was average......if you are looking for north indian food this place is best at reasonable price.
Food is OK but service is of extremely poor quality. I was given table in the back of the restaurant and every time I wanted something I had to get up walk over to the cash counter and ask manager to send someone. Not a single waiter around and us being in the corner and at the back couldnβt even shout louder for someone to hear us.No concept of customer service.Others guests came 10 minutes after us and they got their order before us and when manager told me that some items take longer to cool I pointed out that other guests ordered the same dish (dal tadka) as we did. Then only he went and checked and guess what our order was ready and getting cold but no one bothered to serve it.I finally ended up yelling at the manager when he totally ignored us and came to the other table to ask if they wanted any dessert and then walked past us as if we were invisible.
Excellent bar b q and karahi
If you wanna have tandoori then yallah this is your place to go
Not good taste I tried kabab and chicken Tika
Food wasnt good. Disappointed this time as have always had a good experience in the past. Sitting area stank n hygiene wasnt good enough. Will not go there again anytime soon
Tasty biryani! Awesome meat
