Very good Iranian restaurant. Decor and ambience are nice and elegant. They reflect Persian tradition. The outdoor seating is very pleasant particularly during winter time. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was also very good. Serving some of the authentic Persian dishes. The Ash soup in particular was excellent. There is a room for improvement for the kebabs and the dessert.

I had an iftar at Anar restaurant and I would highly recommend it. The food is very delicious, Persian cuisine, and the iftar menu was very diversified. I specifically enjoyed the eggplant starter and the charcoal minced lamb. But the best of all was a very delicious ice-cream, that I found out to be very simple to make: noodles, water with sugar (maybe rose water) and put in the freezer. Done! Another thing I loved was the sugar on the stick served with the tea.The restaurant accepts Entertainer vouchers, so enjoy!

Anar serves Persian / Iranian cuisine at its best. I went with my friend for lunch and we really loved every dish we ordered. The foods was amazing. The starter which was a meat ball literally melt in my mouth. They serve it with tanour bread. For Main dishes, we ordered prawns, fish, lamb and chicken on grill. The presentation is so beautiful. I loved the taste o the grills and I can safely say that it’s one of the best Persian foods I have had in Dubai. For dessert it was falooda with icecream and baklawa. The crispness of the falooda perfectly complimented the saffron ice cream.Located at the heart of Souk Madinat Jumeirah Dubai , overlooking the magnificent Burj Al Arab and the tranquil water canal. The location is serene and value for money.Follow my foot steps on Instagram @hookedonhena

Firstly I want to saw I posted my review on their Instagram page but they deleted it because they don’t want others to see.We booked a table for my birthday Thursday night. While booking we asked for riverside table at 10:30pmWe arrived there at 9pm. Hour and a half before our reservation only to confirm we want riverside table. At that’s time the lady showed us a table which is not riverside and said this one is reserved for you guys. We said no we want to have riverside tables And she promised us they’ll give by the time we arrive. When we went back, all the tables were full. We had to wait for 45 minutes to get a table were we wanted it.Their excuse was they had made the booking days before us that’s why all the tables were full which we don’t believe. If that was the case while we were doing the booking they would have told us the riverside tables are full. Just an excuse not to admit they want to serve customers coming first and not to send them away.We ordered soup jow, shahname kebab and soltani. The soup was ok, not very good. But the kebabs were delicious. Only problem they got cold early. The coals under kebab weren’t hot. And the rice portion very little. While we were eating one of the staff comes and apologized for the issue and asked to give us 25% discount. We did not accept the discount and said we have entertainer. We got very upset and disappointed because while we were still eating and had our drinks left, they brought our bill without us asking. We were still waiting for our desert to come and they brought the bill. Meanwhile people at table next to us had just received their order.Even if this was because it was closing time, they should have told us why they’re bringing the bill.Group of our friends who were planing to go there next day, we called and asked them not to go because of the bad experience we had. Will definitely not go back under any circumstance.

I can’t speak for authenticity as I’m not Persian but have had enough to know good food. I’m actually a bit surprised it’s getting such high reviews. A little more variety would be nice, and I was offered things which were not listed on the menu. That might sound good, but it really just means that the menu needs to be updated so I actually know everything offered. Lastly the service is ok, I don’t want to bash the waiters and waitresses, but it was slow.

Good and friendly staff who accommodates to its guest. The restaurant it self is located inside a bazar together with other restaurants who offer diffrent type of food. Very nice and relaxing atmosphere with a marina running through the serving area. The food itself was ok and going by the recommendation from friends who live locally was a bit overrated. Considering the price that you pay. ⭐⭐⭐ for the food and ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for service!

On my recent visit to Souk Madinat Jumeirah I came across this amazing Persian Cuisine Restuarant named Anar - it means Pomegranate in Ancient Farsi. They have still kept their recipes as old as 2500 years alive and have given them a beautiful modern touch .The food is awesome , especially the way the meat just melts in your mouth, food is supposed to be primarily bland however you can customise the Spices accordingly to your taste and liking.I opted for the Chelow Kabab Kubide (which is minced lamb ,onion,Persian Saffron, black crushed peppers served with Steamed Saffron Rice) and the Kabab Bakhtiary ( which was the juiciest Grilled Mixed Chicken and Lamb Fillet ,marinated in saffron ,fresh lime juice and Shallot Juice .The food was cooked to perfection, the restaurant staff was courteous..however for the Quantity offered the food was slightly overpriced I feel. However am ready to pay for the beautiful ambiance in any case. The place is great for having lunch especially during Winters and for romantic dinners. As far as parking is concerned it’s free for first two hours as per the Souk rules.

We have to request a grilled tomato when you order your meal which I think is odd. Anytime Ive had kobideh kebab or any Iranian kebab meals, the grilled tomato with it is standard. The juices from the tomato add to the rice/butter. No sumac used in the food. When I requested the grilled tomato they forgot about it then finally bought it over after 20 minutes which by then I was finished eating. Horrible to spend 200 aed on a meal when the basics werent even there.Ive had better Iranian food on the streets of Toronto. Will not return to this restaurant.

Finally vegetarian Persian food at good price.I had gone to Anar on Medinet Jumeirah a year or so ago. food was extremely expensive and as it was aimed towards tourist only, I understood the reason for the high price for their food. But now, they have %50 off all their menu items and we ordered through Deliveroo. For the price, it is finally a good thing to get. Their vegetarian stew options are great as most Persian restaurants do not have a vegetarian option. The rest, Kebabs and such, are still for the tourists, as there are much better persian restaurants in Dubai for Kebabs. So, if you are a vegetarian, Anar, is a great choice for Persian food and now through Deliveroo, the price is perfect.

I didn’t like the food at all, i didnt like the smell of the chicken .plus, It is one of the most expensive restaurants in dubai. Very very expensive ...i have no problem to go to expensive restaurants but at least i want to enjoy the food there. Another advice ,, female cheep is very cheap in the market comparing to the male cheep and you need to use more seasoning and other spices to hide the smell and taste coming from piece of meat. Greed is a sickness,, try to use high quality meat and ingredients ...you guys are charging your customers too much.

Persian food is absolutely amazing so I came down here and tried the Kebab Sultani, Joojeh Kebab, Zereshk Polow and the Salad Anar o khiyar along with fresh juice. The place is in a great location and the food does no justice to the ambiance. This place serves a very average tasting persian food and I wasn’t very pleased with the service either. The experience is good, the meat is fresh, the salad was stunning and the juice was nice, but the taste in main courses is very dull.Ambience: This place has an amazing atmosphere, plenty seating and nice place to chill.Service: The staff is amazing but the waiting time is exhaustingly long.Food: The food here needs improvement. Everything about this place is fine but the food could use some more flavour to it.Location: The location is easy to find but the parking is a bit of an issue so have to wait queit a while during peak times.Recommendations: The place is worth trying but cant really say if Ill keep going there for more to be honest.
