Enlightening museum in a beautiful building. Very well curated history of the events leading up to the union and the development of the country since then. Lots of high tech interactive exhibits to display historical videos and artifacts. Definitely worth a visit. You will come away with a new appreciation for the founding sheikhs and the principles that the union was founded upon.

Amazing museum. The best in Dubai.

The architecture and interior was so nice but things are misleading. On the Internet it says free entrance, and yes you do get to enter for free but to go to the actual museum place you need to pay 25dhs. While its less, surely not mentioned ahead.

Visiting this beautiful museum was such a wonderful experience. The staff was very nice and attentive. The museum itself architecturally is a masterpiece. Learning more about the history of the UAE and its founders has been so interesting.

Such a wonderful place to be in. Many sections to explore and the place is beautifully designed.

Nice place to visit and learn about UAE history. There are mini-theatre rooms playing videos regularly and lots of interactive exhibits with trivia and some activities for kids. This place showcases a lot of interactive tech with the content which is highly appreciated.AED 25 adult entry fee.There is a coffee shop inside and it should take about 2 hours to explore the entire museum. There are 2 small buildings outside which are accessible only with a tour guide.Would recommend visiting after 2PM if you want to explore the outdoor area of the museum as it will be very hot in the afternoon. The place would also look nice with the lights.There is parking if you drive here but you might need to walk a bit to catch a taxi from the museum.

It is a must visit to the Museum with family. As the name mention Etihad - means Union which lead to the formation of UAE. There are lots to see with Video and photos with prominent Leaders who shared their experience about the growth of UAE as what we see today. We attended a small workshop and had an interactive session with Ms. Fathima and tour guide Ms. Lilly who showed the entire birthplace of UAE constitution.

It was a nice experience to see the old UAE. The museum is so spacious. In general, its a combination of old & new, vintage meets modern. And it smells so nice!

Great museum that describes the story about the creation of the UAE. There are many documents and it’s particular interesting to understand the role of the UK in the process. The museum is beautiful and uses a lot of technology, which might be interesting to children. That are also small movie presentations. It is an amazing place to visit If you are interested in an important part of contemporary history.

Very nice display underground with the history of the UAE. Technologically driven displays were quite interactive and informative, with videos explaining most displays to foster an engaging experience.

This is a beautiful, semi-interactive museum with a focus on the founding of the United Arab Emirates. The cost is 25 dirham per adult. Well worth it.

Nice rich UAE history about founding fathers

Modern and interactive museum with good use of technology. The entire journey of the Etihad of all the Emirates is well mapped out with key players, photographs and interviews. It was quite an informative visit and the building is beautiful. Dont forget to visit the union House, you should ask one of the staff members to accompany you to the gardens.

This museum uses life-size dioramas to depict everyday Dubai life in the days before the discovery of oil. Galleries recreate scenes from the Creek, traditional Arab houses, mosques, the souk, date farms and desert and marine life.The great modern city of Dubai often let others forget there was a past. This small museum gives a good pictorial history of Dubai, from a small fishing village. Once completed, just go outside this old town and visit places on both sides of the Dubai creek.

The most high tech Museum in UAE.. but lacking more Artifacts and marketing exposure

What an absolutely brilliant facility excellent education in the history of the UAE. I also have to commend the staff, I wish I had taken the name of the young lady who assisted us as her enthusiasm to help and share her knowledge was great. I would recommend allowing 3 or more hours to get the best of your visit and to watch all the films and interviews. Highly recommended

Amazing venue, state of the art museum with a very interesting collection and stunning architecture. The park surrounding it is very pleasant and a truly unique experience to get more familiar with UAE history and development.

The Etihad Museum is place full of the United Arab Emirates history and culture.Helpful and supportive staff and capable of providing the visitors with all the informations and answering their questions.The museum is easy acceptable and parking available.

Very beautiful facilities. I only posted pictures of the area where the constitution was signed, but the main building is fantastic and you even get to see one of the original palaces that are on the grounds as well. This place has some fantastic architecture and technologies as well. Must see while in Dubai.

Very good place to visit

Just from an architectural perspective, the building is a work of art. The entrance to the museum is designed to represent a folded manuscript supported on each side with 7 angled pillars to appear as pens compliment the manuscript. So much to be said for the building, but the museum is a great tribute to the 7 leaders of the 7 Emirates that came together on this site to sign a unifying declaration.Although I went to the museum to as a European looking for more of an sight to the history of the Emirates, there arent a vast amount of artifacts but its still an interesting visit, even if its just to see a 135 meter flagpole !!

History of UAE

Have lived in UAE for just over three years and work right up the road from the Etihad Museum and cannot believe it took me this long to visit. Great way to learn about the history of the UAE. Friendly staff, one of the guides offered to take us on a tour of the wider grounds. Would highly recommend.

History is revisited at this Museum. All details on the formation of the Union from the Trucial States are available as audiovisual information. Highly recommended for students. Enough parking, washrooms are available as usual when you visit public places in Dubai. A place for information and enjoyment.

Nice architecture. Interesting content. The video show is informative. its a nice snapshot on UAE’s history and the employees are really helpful. And that little Library with a private garden felt like a journey to a far sanctuary it was really nice. It’s a great way to spend a quick hour.

Interesting to know emirates histories

A great place to learn about the history of United Arab Emirates and how in Dec 1971 they combined seven different regions into one. It has a lot of artifacts of Arab history combined with a very modern way of story telling. A must go place if you want to know about the history.

Tihad Museum gives you some real insight into the history and heritage of Dubai. It is very interesting museum very modern and very interactive. Moreover, this museum is very interesting to understand the creation of Emirates; of course it is not an old country. We highly recommend it to learn about UAE modern history. So so inspiring. It was an absolute delight. We enjoyed our visit to the museum. Its made very well and my 9 year old son loved all the interactive exhibits.

Great museum! Good infrastructure. Unmissable for anyone who wants to know the history of the UAE.

A beautiful architectural building telling the story of UAEs formation on the historical site of the ceremonial signing. The focus is on the personalities of the leaders of the 7 different Emirates (but especially the main two from Abu Dhabi and Dubai) that led the unification effort. The story itself isnt that involved, so the limited number of displays are spread out across the vast space of the building. If you are expecting what you would normally see in a national museum, this one might seem underwhelming. If you know what to expect, the visit is very enjoyable.

A magnificent structure in the shape of an open book. However, there is absolutely no reason to pay AED 25 to see a tiny exhibition of personal chattel of the founders of the UAE, a few photographs of camels and oil rigs, coins, and military insignia.

Beautiful building. No expense spaired to make this an impressive place. A lot bigger than it seems because most of the museum is below ground level, which makes a lot of sense in a hot climate.

A very modern, beautifully constructed museum. We visited on a weekend and there were not a lot of people. The entry fee is 25 aed per person which I feel is a tad bit expensive. If you would like to learn about the history of UAE then you should definitely pay a visit to this museum. They have made use of technology to make it interactive for people and also to tell the story which is absolutely amazing. The building itself is a work of art! It is built in such a way that the building itself will walk you through the history and heritage of UAE. It has a huge library inside, a cafe and a souvenir shop as well. Just outside the museum in the same premises is the historic Union house where the documents were signed and the Guest palace.

We had an hour to kill and Etihad museum was the closest venue. It was almost closing time so the place was quiet and we took our time to study each exhibit, although there were not many of them but it was very entertaining and interesting.

If you are looking to find out more about the UAE and its history then the Ethiad Museum is a must visit.The space alone is inspiring and creative. Dive into the history of the UAE and enjoy the space with a cup of coffee.
