The restaurant design will take you back to Morroco; the location is good; parking is available and free of charge. The traditional Moroccan food is elegant and worthy of trying. Just make sure you are hungry enough because I guarantee you will eat more than expected as all the food we ate tastes like homemade food. The only thing that you have to be aware of is the food is a bit overpriced here. Otherwise, everything is fantastic to try.Thank you all for the great experience, especially Mr Amine.
The server was really friendly and the ambiance is nice. We ordered the Moroccan tea and chicken tagine. The chicken was good but somewhat dry and would have been better if it was cooked in more of the stew. The French fries tasted basic and unsalted. The bread was decent, but perhaps they could be served warmed up.Overall a good experience, but at 150 dirhams, I probably wouldn’t come back too often.
I wanted to try this restaurant for a long time, because often when people tell you about an excellent restaurant you expect top notch. Alas, indeed atypical restaurant, nothing to say about the decoration, well located, nice for taking pictures. But in terms of gastronomy, its the big disappointment. Considering the prices charged in this establishment, we expected a gastronomy at the height, better and of quality worthy of the name CHOUMICHA.Too many errors and clumsiness in the service: amateur staff, not well managed, not attentive. The price is disproportionate to the quality. And especially with the Iftar formula at 189AED WITHOUT tea (billed in addition). In short, just one piece of advice, dont be fooled by appearances. Absolutely not up to par, so a very big disappointment. I dont recommend it.NB: I was so disappointed I didnt take many pictures
Original review belowOn my original review I didn’t want to write about the person who brought us the tea and had a lot of tea on my white jeans because I didn’t think it’s a big deal. For the record he did apologize and I was fine. But unfortunately it’s a new jeans and the tea didn’t go off. Really not happy!********We went there for iftar. The place is nice but overcrowded to the point that the waiters are overwhelmed with orders so the service is slow. We had our soup quite cold and they have a nice food variety from Morocco. The meal was nice and the Moroccan tea is delish.
I went to the restaurant the food was very delicious and nice I really enjoyed my food and atmosphere was greatAnd I want to thanks waleed rafik outside for the service that he gaves us he is really helpful and nice person he has good knowledge. Many thanks for sure I will visit the restaurant again with my family.
I was looking for a nice morrocan food jn town and this place comes up with the highest reviews and ratings so I went there yesterday for lunchLogistics: There are no parkings. You have 1 option, pay 10 dirham to the valet to park your carVibe and Staff: The staff are friendly and attentive. We sat outside since the weather was nice but then asked to be moved inside because flies wouldnt leave us alone. The decor and vibe is ok.. Not really my taste but some may find it nice and not a deal breaker for me..Food: in summary nothing special and certainly over priced for what you are getting. This is when you realise expensive food isnt necessary the good foodWe ordered the Chicken Rfissa from their special menu. It was just a dry chicken with lentil on some shredded bread. Very simple no specific taste or aromaTagine with prunes was good. It was a good balance of sweet and sour. The veal was juicy and the whole thing was tasty.Overall.. Its an OK place. Nothing special or maybe I am disappointed because I was expecting more
If you consider a Moroccan restaurant in Dubai, this is the place for you.The menu offers authentic dishes. I wouldnt be surprised if they get all their ingredients from Morocco imported, as they taste like over there. Absolutely delicious food. You will travel at every bite!Special recommendation about the Zalouk (eggplant cooked in tomato sauce and marinated with charmoula), amazing!
The place with high expectations based on my experience with other Moroccan restaurants ,the food was really amazing, service and ambiance was too!!the restaurant is located in Dubai Boulevard Downtown the Dine-in seating is Lovely and comfortable,Bab Al Mansour is a contemporary Moroccan restaurant serving fusion Moroccan fresh food( Organic products) the hosting is very welcoming too! staff are friendly, the food over all is so yummy and highly recommended,Am really excited to visit the place again and try other more dishes, with the amazing food and Shisha!
It was a wonderful experience, the food taste fresh and delicious. Also the service is amazing, they help u very fast. Amazing restaurant, they did a good job, it is my favorite restaurant in Dubai! Thank You so much mouad kondah👏🏼👏🏼❤️
- Nice ambience- Friendly staff!- Pretty good food overall!- Decent food portions!Cons- Food prices are a bit on the higher end.- We had a housefly visiting us on our table and that seemed to put us off a bit.- For a short while the music in the restaurant got a bit extra loud, felt like a nightclub.
Many thanks to this restaurant from the staff to the chef the food is amazing tasty beyond expectations the prices are reasonable compared to the quality of service and the atmosphere in the restaurant, so clean place and he decoration takes all the way to Marrakesh Morocco. I recommend it to all Moroccan food lovers
Everything was perfect. From the traditional Moroccan Interior to the amazing authentic food. Especially the service of Azz el Arab and Amine was perfect. Thank you for the great hospitality.
Beautiful place, friendly staff, delicious food. But they have really to think about the Moroccan tea they are presenting! It’s very bad
I was really disappointed by their service. Nothing was on time. The food was not that good. Very average Moroccan food quality. The couscous was cold and salty which expected because it took more than 30 mn to be served. Choumicha should take care more of the restaurant and especially the level of the service. It was mediocre.
The food was not like usual. The chicken tagine was very dry. Couscous was not good. The shrimp samosa was delicious. Service was good as usual
The finest Moroccan restaurant in Dubai : @babalmansour , run and managed by the iconic Moroccan chef @choumicha_chafay 🇲🇦 As Moroccan, and because I am far from home and far from my mum food, I really enjoy when I visit a Moroccan restaurant.@babalmansour met all my expectations from A to Z. As soon as you enter and push the huge door you are directly transported in a Moroccan house, every details count there. The food at Bab Al Mansour maintains the use of traditional recipes using only Moroccan-sourced, organic ingredients. All the feedbacks I’ve heard about the restaurant were right. The food is extremely tasty, all the spices and the flavors made me feel eating my mother food. The salads are fresh and tasty, the portion are big enough for 2. The pastilla is delicious - no comment on it. And the tanjia was for me the winner of the night, the meat slowly cooked was melting in the mouth, Try their Moroccan tea as you will have the chance to experience the real way of serving it - at table side. You can also finish with a shisha 💨 To conclude, I recommend 100% @babalmansour 🇲🇦
One of the best Moroccan food in Dubai, highly recommended. The details of the restaurant takes you to Morocco, the food is delicious.Suitable for Family or friends. They have a different area for smokers, which is very convenient for families if they had kids.Tarek took a good care of me. I appreciate that 🙏🏻Prices somewhat reasonable.
My favorite Moroccan restaurant in UAE. The chef is the famous Choumicha. Sometimes she is in the restaurant. She is sooo adorable, she takes time to speak to you and to get your feedback !The most interesting formula is the breakfast one : 110 aed for two. Eggs, tea, juice, Moroccan pancakes. It’s very good and worth for the price. You can get it everyday until 12.The restaurant is very beautiful, Moroccan decoration.I also previously had several meals : tajines, couscous , tanjia and they were good.Staff is very nice and keeps smiling.Special thanks to Azzdine the one serving the tea !!You MUST go to this place you will enjoy it !——-Mon restaurant marocain préféré aux Émirats. la chef est la fameuse Choumicha, on a la chance de la croiser sur place.
A truly oriental experience from the moment you step in until you leave. Exquisite food, friendly staff and Moroccan ambience. I came with a Moroccan so she knew exactly what to order. Don’t get me started on the dessert. Unfortunately I can’t remember the names of the dishes but I have taken pictures. There was free valet parking, which us always a positive thing. Shisha was very good too, loved this place and for sure will come again.
We visited yesterday this wonderful Restaurant for dinner, the food and soup ( Harira) was very testy and bastila it’s savor and super delicious 🤤As for Morocco tea adjust your Mood 😌👌Ans the service professional and friendly staff
Their chicken tajen is wonderful however their grilled ketf is not delicious. We tried their Shisha and its flavour looks fresh and its smoke was nice
Very nice location and decore. One doesn’t mind spending if worthy, still this is not the case. The food was totally tasteless. Guys what a pity with such an amazing branch. Get you a better chef since in a Moroccan restaurant you expect to eat at least a good couscous. It’s not all about decoration and beautiful crockery.
Excellent! Delicious food, lovely & posh atmosphere, helpful staff, and brilliant service! We loved the decoration too! Our great Choumicha Chay (Famous Chef Cuisine from Morrocco) did an excellent job with her new restaurant, located in the heart of Dubai, Downtown. We had Harira for starters (delicious) then Chicken Pastilla and Chicken Tagine, served with hot arabic bread. Their shisha was great too. Prices justify the high quality of the food and service. Will defo go back and try also their breakfast! ❤️Updates! So we tried their breakfast and it was yummy and tasty! I totally recommend! And we had the chance to meet Choumicha, who came great us .
Breakfast is amazing especially the eggs and fried flat bread with honey ! However they need to keep the breakfast open for longer and not until 12.30, especially on a Friday. Halima is very friendly and welcoming. 😊
Bab Al Mansour by #Chef Choumicha Chafay is a new addition to the #morrocon #cuisine in #dubai.Chef Choumicha is a show host, specializing in Moroccan cuisine and has been presenting for over 20 years Moroccan cooking shows Chhiwat Choumicha and Chhiwat Biladi. Impressive #authentic #decor and #ambience with beautiful Moroccan touches . Food was very good with different rankings; the bastilla ana the desserts were excellent while the Tanjia and the couscous were just good. Service needs serious improvement. Many waiters but they seem lost not knowing what to do and there is visible lack of coordination between them. With fierce competition from other restaurants in Dubai they need to upgrade the standards.I believe if they manage to maintain the quality of food then the restaurant will survive.
One of my favourite restaurants in Dubai. The food is delicious with five stars service.I strongly recommend it.
I like the restaurant, perfect place good location , food breakfast is really really amazing, the most important is the staff widad she is Moroccan she knows how to present her country food good smile perfect service she is providing, i recommend you to go try the food and the service they have also a good shisa, again thanks widad you are really great also your friends.
We received a warm welcome, greeted by a lovely staff member that offered us Bab Al mansour service.I would like to thank the staff of the Bab Al Mansour for their excellent service, especially your staff member *LOVELIE*. I am happy that we met such a lovely and friendly man . Even my kids loved him for the service he has offered us. He offered us great service from the moment we enter the Bab Al Mansour. We were always checked on to make sure everything was fine. Compliments to your chef the presentation of the food was beautifully put together. The food was tasty. And the portions are really big. Thank you for the surprise for my kids :) They really loved it and was happy. Good job Chef, and best regards to Mohammad Choukri and his assistance Mouad for making us happier todayI really recommend this Bab Al Mansour to anyone transiting in Dubai.
Great Morrocon Food, with great vibrant place. Yasmin and Hamzah provide excellent services. Complementary to the chef
The food was delicious it gave me sense of home since Im Algerian. And the service was excellent. Id love to mention AbdElhadi the Tea guy hes excellent and welcoming. My experience was unforgettable.
Such an amazing place for delicious Moroccan food. The ambience, interior design was beautiful ( I felt like I was in Morocco). Staff were welcoming and polite. Although I didnt have a reservation on a Friday during lunchtime, I was seated in very nicely designed corner table listening to sounds of water from an interior mini fountain. As for the food...delicious. I had traditional harira soup and veal tagine with figs and walnut served with yummy Moroccan bread followed by Moroccan mint tea. It was divine! The two ladies who took care of me were lovely. Would love to come again. Last but not least toilets were very clean and well kept. A must visit while in Dubai.
Been here for iftar, food quality and presentation is impeccable; service is fast and very welcoming.Abdelhadi came several times to replenish our tea glasses with his charming pouring style.Highly recommend the pastries and the hot meat dishes 👌🏼
Top Moroccan food restaurant in UAE, the only observation I have : The food is overpriced.
Unfortunately, it wasnt up to our expectations given it was recommended by a Moroccan friend. The chairs at the outside seating area looked dirty, The soup was a bit cold. When I asked the staff they said it meant not to be hot!!! The appetisers were ok, again cold although it is called hot appetisers! We had lamb shank as the main course for sharing. Quantity is ok but the meat was as it was cooked long time ago and reheated many times, so some pieces were very dry and very fatty overall, doesnt look anything like the picture in the menu! Perhaps the salad, saffron rice and the couscous were the best on the table, nothing special or extraordinary though! Comparing to other Moroccan restaurants in Dubai it was below average in terms of food quality.Ambiance 3/5Quality of food 2/5Value of money 2/5Service 3/5
I like the place, I like people working there but the prices went so high.Had a very poor Mixed grill yesterday and paid 119 which to be honest doesn’t cost even 45 AED.Harira went from 28AED to 40. Tea….etc.It s insane. Are they selling food or the view?I always bring my people and my customers to that place coz I m proud of it, but I m getting disappointed with the pricesThank you
Good morning, had a great day, lovely reception, great ambiance, my first experience in Bab El Mansour. The breakfast was delicious. I thank my supervisor for following up and taking care of me Mr.Ali ♥️
Very classy and nice Moroccan restaurant in Dubai. We had top service from the gentle guy Yassine, he asked everytime if we needed something to make us comfortabel. The food is very very delicious. If I could give 6 stars it would be definitely 6 stars. KEEP GOING THE GOOD WORK!!!
The food was fantastic, everything was authentic Moroccan. The staff super friendly and great service.
We (4 of us) came in and found they were serving buffet. We were told up front that the price was 189 AED (about $50) per person, which we agreed to. But we were not told that there were only 10 minutes left before they close the buffet. We found this the hard way as we made our first approach to the buffet to find that a good deal of the plates were empty. We had to eat in a rush and watched them moving food away.I m writhing this review to incite management to push for honesty with customers rather than just wracking headcount.
Truly Authentic Moroccan Experience in DubaiExcellent Service, Excellent Shisha, Excellent Food, Best Moroccan Tea in town!I visited 3 times in one month!I love the interior, the details, and the general atmosphere!Try their Pastila, Beetroot salad, Cuscus, chicken and olives tajine! The staff are Moroccan and that really enriched our experience, we learned couple of moroccan words they were so friendly!Thank you Kamel,Adnane, Bilal, Nässe, Sadek, Hala, Widad & Mohammad 🙏🏻Before leaving remember to get your name written in Arabic calligraphy by Calligrapher Imran ♥️They have “5star hotel” toilets, very impressive and very clean!Highly Recommended!
If you are looking for very nice Moroccan experience dont hesitate to go.Clean, yummy , tasty , definitely u will love itBesaha
The staff in this restaurant are amazing. The food is delicious. It is opposite of the Dubai Oprah house. You can walk to the Dubai Oprah or to Burj Khalifa. I liked the food in general but loved the most, the dessert they serve ( kaab alghazal with semsem). The only thing I did not like is the expensive prices and they dont have any sort of discounts.
The food is good the place also good but The service is really bad ,servers they are not taking my order as it is they are very annoying they call each other in a high voice infront of my table I feel like they r not professional hope you can train then so they can overcome their bad habits
A very distinctive Moroccan restaurant with high quality decor that takes you to Morocco immediately just you enter the restaurantThe working group all are Moroccan and smiling.Bastille - Casserole with plums - couscous with vegetables, meat and many other Moroccan foodsThe blinds are wonderful and the atmosphere is cool
If you are looking for the best place for Moroccan food, Bab Al Mansour is definitely the place. Traditional & delicious!Big thanks to Hatim for his professional service!
Great experience and food! We ordered the briwat appetizer and mixed kabob meal. Best to end with mint green tea and dessert.
Bab mansour is a moroccan restaurant. We went there for lunch. We sat inside as it was warm outside but were surprsie by the warmth inside too. The air conditioning was not cooling enough as the main door was kept open and few flies were flying around the restaurant which was annoying. We order the below items:Couscous lamb shank: meat was tender bit vegetables were not fresh and had the taste of left overs.Chicken tajin with olives: tasty dish but chicken was too dry.Meat tajin with prunes: tasty dish; recommended.Chicken pastilla: only dish that really convinced me to be honest.Regarding the restaurant atmosphere: nice interior decor, marocan vibes. But restaurant too noisy as the chairs are heavy and very loud when you move them around. It was very annoying.Restaurant is expensive for the quality of the food ordered.A bit disappointed by the whole experience.
Many thanks to this restaurant from the staff to the chef the food is amazing tasty beyond expectations the prices are reasonable compared to the quality of service and the atmosphere in the restaurant, so clean place and he decoration takes all the way to Marrakesh Morocco. I recommend it to all Moroccan food lovers 👍🏼
Pure Morocco Spirit, theme, decoration, taste and the friendly staff.Great experience
I had a lovely experience! The food was amazing!Shout out to Mouad who is very kind and professional! This young man has a lot of potential!I recommend this place!
Great Moroccan food. Tastes like at home. Portions are generous. Location is ideal. Staff is extremely friendly and smiling at any of your requests - Thank you Hamza for your warm hospitality.Quality/price is overall very good.I can only recommend this place for Moroccan food newcomers or for people looking for a nice place to eat into.
I can call the all dishes in this restaurant is Exotic , unforgettable taste very deliciousThe staff very welcome with a beautiful atmosphereBravo 👏
Dont miss this Moroccan restaurant in the heart of Dubai . It is so delicious, it reminds me of the best Moroccan plates. Staff were so friendly and helpful as well. I may recall Mr.Hamza who helped us in selecting the most delicious plates. Thanks a lot.
Having valet parking is a plus. Clean restaurant. Welcoming male staff. Not sure why the female staff looked liked angry from our visit. Food was tasty and with big portions. Separate smoking and non smoking areas.
Iwould like to thanks Souhaila the beautifull hostess for a special welcome and she give a nice table. Also for Nasser the handsome gentelman for his sugestion to me a nice sgrimps tajine and special tropical drinks and i finalise with the most pure sahraoui Abdelhadi who make a real moroccan tea to me the atmospher good but the guys with a warm smile make u feel that u are in home ❤️❤️❤️
First of all thank for All the staff special the Moroccan tea maker Ibrahim with his beautiful smile, the food delicious and very clean place and organized, I will come again soon 😍
Excellent Moroccan environment, the service was amazing, great typical moroccan breakfast menu. We will be back. A special thanks to Mouad, Hamza and Ayoub , their services made our experience even better.
I like the location and the Vibes is great , traditional Moroccan food , delicious and tasty, specially the tajine , nice service and friendly staff , average prices equivalent to the quality of the food , the restaurant for sure worth a visit , thanks to all restaurant crew
It is easy to get disappointed when you like Moroccan food and try a new Moroccan restaurant. At Bab Al Mansour we were warmly received, in a nice environment and frankly, frankly our couscous and tagine were absolutely delicious. We live very close by so we’ll go there often. Super! J’adore Bab Al Mansour!
Loved this restaurant experience. Beautiful decor and super friendly & attentive service. Hatim was our server & he make my manager amazed by hospitality . Food was excellent and staff made great recommendations. actually it is the right place to make people from other nationalities to discover some in our culture .regards
The most and authentic place where you can have a great service and enjoy the taste of the really Morrocan food. Thanks a lot to Mr.Tarik who is always welcome us and providing amazing services with a big smile.
I had a great time, exploring the rich Moroccan culture through delicious food. A MUST!
Amazing experience from the food to the service to the decorations Bab Al Mansour excelled in every aspect. Many thanks to all the team who spoilt us with their kindness and attentiveness to every detail ; Halima , Abd Al Hadi and Hamza El Harthi thank you all for making this a memorable iftar 😊
Classy restaurant and delicious food We enjoyed our time Thank you Bab Al Mansour for the good reception and hospitality 😍 We will definitely come back ✌✌
The location is very beautiful, tipical marrocan style and very clean which is very important. The food is very delicious and the staff is very respectful and friendly, really nice people. Thank you bab Al Mansour.Ps:if you seat outside, you will have the chance to admire the burj Khalifa just and other buildings and after dinner take the chance for a nice walk in the area as it is in the downtown.Price is very reasonable. Will definitely go back there.
Nice restaurant, and delicious food, team at the level, and a special thanks to Omar for his good listening to us and his hospitality. Thank you Bab Al Mansour you remind us of our country Morocco :)
Ask for soufian, he is your guy for best food selection.. nice atmosphere & food ever .. highly recommended but don’t forget call to book your spot before you go.
Excellent experience overall. The staff here gave us five-star service and were beyond helpful and hospitable. Our server Hamza really went above and beyond. Food was exceptional (we usually go with server recommendations). Not to mention the beautiful design and fixtures. Hand-made Moroccan molding and woodwork covers every wall and corner. Easily my best restaurant experience in Dubai.
Very good restaurant. Chic. Very well located. Good variety of food. Tasty dishes and drinks. One of the best orange juice in town. As for the Moroccan tea offered in Bab Mansour, it is simply the best. However, despite of the big number of waiters, the waiting time is too long when the restaurant is full. Also the breakfast prices are little bit high. The management should seriously take a look on the breakfast prices as well as the waiters performance when the are under pressure.
Really great restaurant and service. Our waiter, Omer, was fantastic and made sure we got everything served perfectly. Highly recommended!
Halima and Tarik were amazing. Good service, same quality breakfast as in Morocco. We will definitely come back here. 🙏
Mouad and Simo were great, could not do enough for us. A lovely oasis of calm in the city, right by dubai mall. Nice Moroccan atmosphere and food, thanks
Delicious food but very poor Service, very slllllllllllllow. You need to change the management other wise you gonna loose your clientsI went to this Restaurant exactly 3 times, The only reason why I dont go often is the serviceHorrible service. Its not even busy. Staff doesnt care about customers.
An amazing place placed in front of Burj Khalifa, with an incredible environment, where you can enjoy the tasty food and the kindful service from there. If you want to get the chance of living an unforgettable moment accompanied with differents sorts of food, come here and just be comfortable. ☆Thanks especially to the waiter Hamza☆
Great and one of the best if not the best Moroccan restaurants in Dubai, food was great and tasty and I love it, staff are so friendly and really happy to serve. Atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing.
Nice interior design and customer service, but my experience with food was terrible, ate ‘Rfisa’ and got poisoned.
Regular customer. Great food. Friendly staff always go out their way to make you have a great time. Thank you.
Best ever Moroccan restaurant in Dubai, classic and nice traditional meals you would want to try. First time trying it but its a lasting experience
Lovely outdoor seating.. very nice staff.. they have a calligraphy artist who writes your name in the arabic language as a complimentry souvenir from the restaurant.. food is good too.. i forgot to mention Morrocon sweets they are the best
