If you love Mexican food you should definitely try this place. It’s located near La Met in Dubai Marine Beach Resort. One of my favorite place in Dubai. There is a terrace with view on the pool and garden.Excellent serviceBig portionsNice hostAlchol during RamadanParking free on the road behind the building
Aed per person only which includes a set of yummy appetizers and one main course. The food was super tasty and full of flavors. Their guacamole was super good with the Nachos. The appetizers portion was big enough. The location of the restaurant is so cool overlooking the pool of Dubai Marine resort and the interior is woody, cozy and very spacious.
I came with my friend for the first time to try their newly launched Weekday Mexican lunch. It was for 75 aed per person only which includes a set of yummy appetizers and one main course. The food was super tasty and full of flavors. Their guacamole was super good with the Nachos. The appetizers portion was big enough. The location of the restaurant is so cool overlooking the pool of Dubai Marine resort and the interior is woody, cozy and very spacious.
This is a Mexican restaurant and was very busy. It happened to be free margarita night for women so that might have helped the lively and loud atmosphere. The food was very good from quesadillas to fajitas. The margaritas were also excellent for a house blend. Service was adequate and we never wanted for anything. Nice decor and ambience. Prices were mid range cheap for location...
Truly loved our experience at Loca Restaurant. Our server Pablo (or Paolo) was the most friendly person, who guided us through our order, and also kept the 2 kids in our table well entertained. All the dishes were truly out of this world in terms of taste and serving size. Loca is highly recommended for all, and will definitely visit again
Great place great staff great food and great experience.Been there for a brunch loved it and was surprised by the food quality even if not a la cart orders.Best beer selection for a brunch offer.Definitely tey it out and then come back for a second round
Good mexican experience mixed with a irish bar.. a bit over priced in the normal menu but there are a lot of promos during the days of the week even on weekends.. for example on Saturdays there is 1 porcion of fajita + 2 alcoholic drinks for 109aed.. either beer or wine... in a nice location but not renovated for some years... still a good option for meeting friends

Brunch 219 AED, for 5 hours a bargain... Then you could extend for additional two hours of drinking for 95 AED.. Drinks choice was very good, except for the house spirits but thats a personal preference, beer, wine, cider, plenty of options.. Food disappointed slightly, the breakfast options was average, but the main was a little better, and plenty of it... I look forward to doing it again soon
My association with this restaurant is now 7 years old, whenever we come to Dubai for an official work I always go there for a dinner and are still continuing after moving to Dubai. The energy and the food quality it has always attracts me.
Lively, noisy place with decent music for a fun evening with friends. Find out about ladies night and happy hours before visiting -- normal prices are comparable to other bars but free drinks for the ladies and extra ones for the lads dont hurt!Big helpings of good food. Table-side preparation of guacamole adds to the fun. Food is tasty but a bit bland for a palate used to spicy food -- but this is quickly fixed by requesting some condiments.Nice view of the Marine club pool and gardens. Outdoor seating is available. Smoking and Non-smoking areas.
Place is nice, definitely a recommendation. Went for the business lunch and happy hour. Food is great as well as the drinks.
For Mexican food lover, LOCA is a MUSSSSST. The service was great and the food was amazing. The spinach dip was as good as you can imagine. The waiter was nice and he was around to keep an eye when he should provide the next plate. The only disadvantage is only the loud music, so we had to yell to hear each other. Must try during the day the music is less loud.
Unfortunately, my partner and I became sick after eating here. We were initially very excited to try Mexican food in Dubai. We shared the guacamole, which is what we believe made us both sick. I ordered the kingfish ceviche and he had the nachos. We were unable to keep any food or liquids down for the next 24 hours. The ambiance was set up as a nice bar with pool views.
Very peaceful and nice environment, with view on the swimming pool. I started with a margarita, ate some starters, nachos and wraps and guacamole, main course beef burrito, and ended with Coffe. Overall, I was very satisfied, Paolo took good care of me. Thank you guys
Important options are no longer on the menu, the place lacks the hygiene expected and the food is just ok now
Very pleasant experience. Recommended. Good vibes, good food, good service.
Nice outing with friends for a good brunch. The guacamole was amazing. The extras like the tacos not so much. The fajitas were incredible! Too the mix of steak and shrimp. Amazing! The service was attentive too and always checking on you. It’s more a bar feel than a restaurant but a nice one!
100% ++++ Mexican best restaurant in Dubai....the food and service is ultimate and very interesting, highly recommended for couples as it has many private tables to enjoy the time, it is always better to call and book your table before arriving...The restaurant has nice bar and big screens if you are a football addict then you are in the right place to enjoy watching the match with your mates...The decor is awesome mainly made of woods which gives a warm atmosphere, the lighting is not bright, so your eyes will be relaxed while enjoying your meal and your drink.Restrooms are very clean and hygienic.A small tip for the resturant is to try to add some aroma on entrance and I personally prefer a company called Ahla jaw as they provide the best quality Aromas in the market.Cheers
The food is good, a bit of service could be improved but definitely not bad.
This place is AMAZING! Great value for money and an atmosphere that is welcoming and fun. For 210AED, it is so much food, the drinks keep flowing and the music makes you want to move. Thank you Michael, our fantastic waiter who was attentive, kind and super hospitable. I can not recommend this brunch enough!
Go for the gauc, stay for the margaritas. This place is super average for me. Its still holding on after all this time, so that must mean something...but its definitely not on my fave Mexican list. Bring your own party and all will be ok ✌🏼
Great food; terrible staff. We came last night at 8 for a special occasion and the main staff who received was very rude and showing to much attitude (he was Filipino)
Good food, good beer, and good atmosphere! The fish tacos were awesome
I think this is my new favorite restaurant in town! Every time I go there Im left saying dang that was realllllly good. The meat isnt super dried out like some places in town. Everything Ive ordered has been right on point.
Probably the best Mexican restaurant in town. Great food. Great atmosphere. Good service and reasonable pricing

Except the bug leg on the outside of the drink glass, everything was great.
Sunday - Thursday afternoon they have a lunch deal that’s for 75 AED and has enough food for two! While it was great quantity wise, I’ve definitely had better mexican food. It wasn’t bad though.
Flawless atmosphere, amazing food and great customer service overall.
Food is good but the service and specially the on duty manager rude
The best fajitas in Dubai hands down..... atmosphere here is so awesome ...... the service was great..... value for the food quite expensive but like I said the best fajitas in Dubai...... will go again and again when I’m craving Mexican food
Best mex food ever. Must visit if you’re in Dubai
To me this place will always be the Alamo but thats old school.. the venue is now called Loca but probably the best Mexican restaurant Ive been to in Dubai. The angus beef is the best and as such the beef Nachos are just incredible. I had the mixed Fajitas which were just sublime; spicy as hell. The Alcohol is as expensive as ever... not like the old days Im afraid.
Bad drinks, bad food.If it wasnt cheap it wouldve been 1 star
One of my favourite dine in places in Dubai. Authentic Mexican cuisine served with warmth on a platter of chic ambience. Love it totally 💘
Love the guacamole and excellent service, the age group of regulars is below 30 years. Music is nice. The whole place might need an upgrade as it is in an old building. Not too posh, seating varies between couches and chairs. They also have an outdoor seating if it is not too hot! Cheers
I loved the place, the food, the drinks and the service... basically I loved everything 😍 its a must visit place for Mexican fiesta lovers. The guacamole cooking show is the cherry on top... Ill come again for sure!
Had a terrible experience here. Constant bothering about changing tables, charging 77dhs for a plain cheese quesadilla, the same as a regular one. Hard to grab any servers attention. Felt like we weren’t even wanted here. Will not be coming back.

Lovely hang out spot with a chill vibe. Charming live DJ playing suitable mixes for the environment while having a delicious, flavorful prepared meal. Friendly service, clean, and overall recommend in a group or solo setting.
Good restaurant✌🏻✌🏻and workers very good 😇😇( I like its 😘😘😘)
Really liked the food and ambiance. Wide variety of beers. Friends recommend the ribs (I dont have beef) so cant say but the fajitas and the rest of the food is also very good. Also not expensive. Would go again.Update: May 2018. Still very good! 5 stars again! Also they show football matches
Wanted to see how good this restaurant was after seeing the reviews in trip advisor The atmosphere is funky, lively and guest having some good time with the staff doing some actions like Chinese dragon dance and other small entertainments A nice hangout for Drinks and bites with friends with good music and cool atmosphere. Food is not bad at all as well...
Food is average, ambiance non, I dont know what took us to this place, this place needs a revamp asap
Very good - and as far as I can judge about - authentic mexican cuisine. Caring and attentive staff. Nice set-up - but MUSIC WAY TOO LOUD that evening (29.11.2018). Normal conversation was only possible - though still difficult - at outer tables, towards sea shore. Dining pleasure was certainly hampered by the volume of the boxes!
By far the best Mexican food outlet in Dubai. It has been very consistent in offering quality food at great prices. The staff is friendly experienced and the service is fast. Great sports bar atmosphere. Parking a bit not easy but there is a valet parking service. Excellent location for residents of Jumairah .
Cool place with a solid brunch deal. But they will kick you out after 6pm. Even if youre trying to finish the food/drink youb paid for. That was disappointing.
Loca is so far the best Mexican place I have tried in Dubai. The fresh guacamole which is prepared next to your table should not be missed. Also try the Jalepeno peppers appetizer. Overall food was 5 star and the service was also 5 star. The place is great for watching sports as well, a section offers Tap-on-Your Table. Can you believe that? Highly recommended.
I enjoyed the food any the ambiance. We had to send my food back because they put tomatoes on the top even though I explicitly shared and explained that I have an allergy. Once it was re-explained that taken them off would still yield a reaction, the dish was re-made.
Ok... they advertise they close at 2 but at 11.30 already bar closed
This place has a nice atmosphere with regards to the decor & lighting. However, the service is poor. The food was decent but not necessarily worth the money. You pay for the ambiance vice the food. The waiters are lacking in customer service & tend to forget you’re there even on a non busy night. No one asked if I wanted a refill, no one asked if I wanted to take my food to go, & it took 20 mins before I could locate anyone to provide a check for me & my group & even then they didn’t want to split our bill. I’ll take this with a grain of salt & pay or take out Mexican food instead of wasting my time here.
Great service, even tastier food.
My favourite Mexican restaurant in Dubai. I recommend the guacamole, which they make at the table. I love the chicken quesadillas too. Service is always excellent. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Authentic Mexican foodSome appetizers/ side dishes don’t have the same quality all the time, but the main dishes are always amazing
Authentic Mexican tasteBest guacamole in townThe service was amazingGo on Saturdays and try the fajitas with beer offer
Having read all the reviews beforehand I must say I was quite disappointed.the only thing I enjoyed was the ambience.as for food it was average,my chimichanga was dry and tasteless, would need a steak knife to cut through.not sure about the side dishes too, spoon of dry rice and beans.I expected refried beans somewhere on the menu being a Mexican restaurant. But the guacamole was good and staff friendly too.
Loca is an absolute experience. For years we have been coming here, and not a slight drop in quality to date. I rarely review, but this place deserves every star and then some. The food, ambiance, service and staff, and the music: It all goes beyond 5 stars. We are a party of 9 and everyone of us highly recommends this place both for its exquisite food quality and general vibe.
Food was ok, but service was bad.
Nothing to say... still one of the best night out places to go!
Great place for best Mexican food in Dubai. Love the ambience, vibe, drinks, food and staff. They have pretty decent gluten free option which is an added bonus for those who prefer this option.
Very nice restaurant! Went there twice and had a great experience both times! Make sure to have their guacamole its fantastic!
This great restaurant is located at the Dubai Marine. The outside area has a amazing view on the ocean. The service is friendly and the food is absolute delicious!
The food is below average. It lacks flavor. The ingredients they use are basic. They don’t use Mexican spices. Perhaps they are trying to accommodate to the Dubai market. It also lacks spirit and a good vibe.
Great traditional mexican food and decent beer selection. Though was better when they had Dos Eqois.
This place at best is a sports bar trying very hard to be a Mexican restaurant and I say that because the food is inexcusably atrocious. We had to ask for the bar menu which as you can see on Zomato is quite extensive and more expensive than most places; they reluctantly returned with the menu and informed us that the prices were actually 10% higher than listed! One of the ladies asked for a cosmopolitan as soon as we sat down and that took 25 minutes! No, the restaurant was not busy!We ordered 2 guacamole and it was very good although it could have done with a little more lime! I ordered the grilled Angus beef (AED 145) medium-rare from their Specialities listing. All the food arrived quite quickly. The Angus beef was about half a centimeter thick at the edges and perhaps a little more than a centimeter thick at the centre and id be surprised if it was more than 200 gms in total. The sauce looked like someone had rinsed the pan and poured it over the beef as an after thought and it tasted like it too. The beef itself was difficult to slice through an inedibly chewy which is inexcusable for a medium-rare so i sent it back. It was quickly replaced with another one but this time it was closer to well-done than medium rare; less chewy and very dry! So I decided to call it quits but they insisted I have something else so I ended up with salmon which was over-cooked but I didnt point it out because I didnt want to go through another round of roulette with their menu!2 of the others ordered the beef tenderloin from the Specialities listing and what they dont tell you is that they hammer it out to the thickness of a minute steak; that together with its shapelessness would have made it look like spoof vomit ... if it had any moisture. I tried a piece and it was just as it looked ... dry! Again, Id be shocked it was more than 200 gms which at AED 120/- is very pricey. Oh yes, all the specialities come with a couple of tablespoons of dry rice and beans if you can bring yourself to eat it.So, if you are looking for a sports bar there are proper sports bars with bigger screens, cheaper drinks and food that you can go to at 5-star hotels! If you want Mexican food, find another one failing which keep away from what we ordered. The reason I mentioned the price is because wehad a 350 gm ribeye for around the same price and it was melt-in-you-mouth good!On the drive back home I realised it could all have been a lot worse ... had I ordered off the their non-Specialities listing
I’m american and I love authentic Mexican food. I had the seafood fajita from Loca 150aed+ and it came with 5 over cooked prawns, 4 scallops, onions and tomatoes along with all the condiments. Beans, sour cream etc. You can get this 65% cheaper and way better at Rock Bottom Tecom. On arrival after 10 mins I had to walk around to find a server. The reviews are fake and overhyped. Not worth going again. It’s a challenge to find good Mexican food in Dubai. It’s not hard to scorch some meat add some spices and call it Mexican food. Sorry Loca.
Decent food, shame the margaritas are made with gold tequilla. Never had two and woken up with a head ache the next day 🤷🏽♂️ shame
The best Mexican food in Dubai, service is also amazing.Try the frozen margarita!
