Dr Laura Horne one of the best family doctors in Dubai! she is so caring, following up by calls herself to provide any additional advices and to update on tests results etc. for me she is going above and beyond even from the first visits! even she ensued that I have received my medicines. not all doctors in Mediclinic with that level! Mediclinic has to focus on the quality and patient experience concept when hiring not only the medical experience of your staff as recently the overall level was below average!Mediclinic have to be proud having Dr Laura and to increase efficient doctors who genuinely cares about their patients!

I just went for the COVID-19 PCR test. It was a bit busy, but the whole process (initial waiting, registration, payment and swabbing procedure) took around 15 min.The staff is very efficient and friendly.The PCR costs AED 150 now (it used to be 250).

Worst treat from the woman at the desk service ever. Her manners were horrible, I called the call center of mediclinic before I went ti ask if they did PCR test, and they said it would be possible before 20:00. After waiting 30 mins at 17:30 the staff attending patients refused to take our request for PCR saying it was too late. Misleading info from mediclinic call center and horrible treat from thebstaff and the reception desk.LPMQTPHGP

I had telemedicine consultation with doctor and doctor promised me I will receive the medicine by end of the day and wait for informing me further tests. Paid then no prescription, no email confirmation, no follow up.Tried call them cant get through, emailed them, no reply. Mediclinic sent me SMS survey if I am happy with the experience. Of course not. the customer service called me to ask details and promised me will contact the clinic to give me prescription, at least. Still 2 days later, nothing happened. Feel totally wasted time and energy for this consultation. Apparently they dont care. I will never go to visit this clinic. so many choices in Dubai and so many people need jobs under current situation.

This clinic is in a free fall. It used to be a good efficient and convenient one. I don’t know what happened but this a year almost it is a complete mess. No system , no discipline and surely no management. Very poor even dangerous management of patient with crowded and super slow counters and no basic understanding and crowd management. Will never go back again there. There is more chance of getting sick and catch a virus from the crowd ,than getting cured if you visit during this period with such poor management

Had my 6 years old son for Vaccination and and PCR test there and the nurse doing the job was not trained how to deal with children at all...Both times when she entered the room told us to hold his hand, fit and for PCR test his neck, in a way that my son could hear her and tantrum before starting the job!!

They claim that you can book vaccination appointment via phone...attempted 3 times and waited for 40 minutes each time and couldnt connect. Finally connected in 4th attempt... dropped the email to them and received a standard respone...i understand they are experience large call volumes but they should be more transparent and perhaps create an app for appointment !

Just called and explained something and the customer service against got it ALL WRONG. Explained it again and again she made mistakes. Said the wrong things. Uttered wrong information. Sounded like I had disturbed her lunch. Asked to speak to a manager. She said she had no managers. Haufska Shaikh she said she was called with a yawn. I do hope they record the calls. Surely her mistakes are warrantable for good listening too. When a client calls they must listen to be able to help. She didn’t listen as she didn’t help AT ALL. Dates wrong. Stressed me out as I thought all my appointments had been cancelled as she told me they had then oh no they hadn’t just my sons had. Complete disaster.

I had IGM test here and I was told result will be after 24 hours. But after 48 hours it’s still not coming. During the 48 hours waiting I called the number 4 times, every time I got different answer. And one day before I went for test I called twice and asked if I need appointment for test, I was told no need. The next day morning when I approach the counter the staff told me I need appointment. I was very upset about the service.

I only used them for the COVID test , the service is quick , the nurse is very nice while taking the swap and was very gentle with the kids but the registration takes long time , what really bothered me is there is no highlight or any sign board about the discount for the students and if I didn’t know about it I wouldn’t have got the discount !!!

Probably one of the slowest Mediclinic in Dubai. Everytime you have to take token and wait for 20 minutes even if you have booked an appointment.. Understaffed in reception counter or have outdated system. Hopefully they will improve upon this situation.

Slow service. No available nurses to guide you to the doctor if I didn’t approach the staff in the reception to assist me to the doctor , I would just wait for nothing there! My last visit to Mediclinic was about 4 years ago and comparing over the period of this time until next visit which is happening today is, I find Mediclinic in 2020 has just retained its fancy name, over priced and over rated, service wise not like what used to be 4 years ago, my doctor suggested vitamin D test for which my insurance covers this test and I also got confirmation sms and email, however the Mediclinic informed it is rejected and I must carry this test then pay for the test, I have to myself contact insurance and the guy on desk convincing him that my insurance provider approves this test and does not require pre-approval the same message is also sent to Mediclnic, finally after I make insurance and mediclinic talk to each other over my mobile phone and they agreed to communicate within their management and again I am asked to wait until their final decision is made whether I will undergo my vitamin D test or not?On the other hand my wife holds the same insurance and she too is diagnosed with vitamin d deficient but she went to small scale clinic in discovery gardens everything went smooth test and treatment all approved without spending any time but this fancy mediclinic you will have to deal with your insurance, it seems they will make you spend your money in pocket rather than allowing insurance to deal with, it’s better use small clinics that will save your time and money

Doctors are good and nurses are very warm and helpful but the pharmacy staff are extremely slow in their service. Took them half an hour to apply for approvals and another half an hour to have the medicines. Hope that they are trained better to offer better customer service .

Today I am writing this review because I am responsible for all the patients who trust to be taken care by Mediclinic. I am a doctor practicing in Dubai and because my current clinic is not covering my insurance company, I decided to choose my family doctor from Mediclinic in Ibn Battuta. I had a very great experience with my good doctor. My appointment was on Sunday 19/08/2018 and was referred to pharmacy to gt my prescription. After a while, the pharmacist ask me to leave and will give me a call by afternoon as soon as they get the approval. Nobody contacted me until I called in the evening to follow up with pharmacy in Mediclinic. The pharmacist told me that they will call me tomorrow to inform me to come and pick up the prescription. Today (20/08/2018) as a doctor I am at job and nobody contacted me yet. I called the clinic where the call center informed me that the clinic is closed for two days. This is the issue: How come they want to get rid of patient by telling lies? How a person whom should be responsible for peoples health is screwing a patient whom is in need for her/his medication?As a patient I should wait for two days until they come back from holidays while I need my prescription. It is a shame for such a clinic whom supposed to be responsible for patients. I made a visit last week for an ankle injury. The whole visit took an hour from start to finish, which I think is superb service. I was called to be looked at within15 minutes, xrayed and then saw doctor for diagnosis and advice. Every step of the way staff were pleasant and courteous. Every single one of them introduced themselves, including the nurses and xray staff. All in all, speedy, efficient and courteous service. Thank you very much Mediclinic. Someone gained my Loyalty 😊

My experience is positive. Whenever I had an issue had been seen by an expert and received good advice. Unfortunately I had to visit three times and had received replies to all my questions. However, it is quite pricey even if it’s paid by the insurance.

Ive had very good service at this clinic. They discovered that I had diabetes and worked with me right away. The dentist is so kind and very professional. The pediatricians are also super sweet to my kids. Weve been using them since they opened and have visited nearly every department. While not all of the doctors are the best Ive had in Dubai, I still trust them and think they do a good job. Remember that this is not a hospital so be glad that they have all the services that they offer.

Wait an hour for my prescription. When you are poorly and in desperate need of rest, the last thing you want to do is waiting for an hour for two sets of tablets. You need to wait for 30 minutes to be able to tell the receptionist about your appointment. The orthopedic i met was in hurry and the appointment took exactly 5 minutes and i felt it was all rushed.However Hanneke in physiotherapy department was amazing. She is really good and highly recommended.

Trust the bad reviews and dont come. Very bad service. Sometimes these places forget who is paying for a service. If you offer me an appointment, you cannot afford to be late to serve me without previous notice. And if you ask any clerk to solve it, they will tell doctor is very busy. Well then dont make so many appointment slots and give more time to each patient. Not recommended. Edit: and they make you pay for coffee.

Visited for my Son (8 years) old who was having Fever in Oct 2019 and was advised by the Pediatrician to do the Influenza test and I can to know only at the counter that I need to pay Additional AED 299 for the Test. Apparently that is been convered for another colleague in my office who did it from NMC Dxb in a span of few days. The Staff are lethargic and dont bother to check properly with the Insurance team. Disappointed for the high fee they charge.

Unfortunately no star is not possible.A simple question to the management. Why is it not a default process to send test reports by email to a patient registered at the clinic ??Why should an already sick patient have to fill into a complex form loads of data already available with the clinic ??Such inefficient processes lead to a frustrated patient and rude staff, in my experience today, saying the lady at the reception was rude is an understatement, she was outright disrespectful when I said that I would prefer not to fill the complex form but rather come and pick up the report when it was ready.

Visited the clinic today for HPV vaccination and they charged me specialist consultation fee. I’m just a walk in patient who voluntarily wants to be vaccinated. It’s disappointing that they still have to arrange appointment in their system (which I think is not really required) and eventually make me pay for the consultation fee. I only told the doctor that I want to be vaccinated and I had to pay 93 AED for that conversation - unbelievable!

Shocking check in at a ticketless reception. Appointment at 10.40am.... Arrived at 1010am. Managed to check in at reception at 10.40am (thats 30 minutes just to let them know Ive arrived). Its now 11am. Still waiting. And Im crazy enough to pay 20% of the fees for this. Incompetent system. Rude staff. I will never visit this clinic again and will make sure none of my friends have to suffer it either!#######Update ######I think its ridiculous that you ask me now for my details as if you are going to look into the matter to appear that your empathetic! From the reception, nurse and Dr. Nader, the gentleman at the X-ray and the nurse at the blood test all made me feel very comfortable. Worst place for medical care Ive ever been to. They have no concern for the appointment and the patient’s time. They are rude... Right from the receptionist to the doctor. I have experienced 2 doctor so far, the dermatologist and the pediatrition and I only went there because I thought expensive meant better service. It doesnt. The reception staff is rude, the doctors are careless and the whole experience is a waste of time and money.

Very very slow service. The receptionist and the cashier play pass the parcel with you. If you are a patient, be asured that you will spend most of your time hopping from one counter to another. And then add another hour for the medecines to come. The doctors however are great. And that is the only reason i come here. If you are in any sort of hurry to visit the doctor, avoid this place. If you have entire day and nothing else to do, this place is for you.

Horrible experience. Our appointment was at 7pm, we arrived at 7:04pm because of the traffic. Receptionist tells us that the doctor decided to leave because we didn’t arrive at 7. No phone call to patient to check where we are! Also, the previous appointment a week earlier was cancelled by the same doctor. My kid is 3 year 6 months old and ever since he came to Dubai as 3 month old, we took him to one primary pediatrician Dr. Amit at Ibn Battuta Mediclinic.I dont know where else I can write doctor reviews (lengthy process to review on mediclinic site) hence chosen Google.So firstly.. besides us..the mom n dad, my kid also loves to meet Dr Amit despite the check ups and vaccines. Dr. Amit is very approachable, very gentle and gives just the right treatment..nothing less nothing more.I earlier had a fully covered proper insurance card so got used to top tier Mediclinic services. But in these 3 years, I stepped down in career a bit and got a basic insurance where I hardly get 50 percent of the consultation reimbursed... but still I went only to Dr Amit; that should probably explain how good we felt he is.I got back on track in career with a fully covered insurance again but moved out of Dubai so missing Dr. Amit and hence this review with nostalgia.

I had pain in my ears, so I visit Mediclinic in IBN Battuta on 22nd October, Doctor name is Dr.Riad mouanayer, in my experience I never seen such a unprofessional doctor. We have been there several times, we never beeen disappointed.The moment I entered his cabin, he was very rude. After started testing my ears, he mentioned not to move my head. But, it’s very common if someone is cleaning your ears, unintentionally you will move your head, he started shouting to me without any respect, I was in terrible pain so I couldn’t able to reply him. After he finished the process, he mentioned I am his first patient and I ruined his day.At last he prescribed some medicine, however he mentioned to come back next week or else go to some other doctor, he don’t care of it.I strongly recommend the management to look on to this incient, this is not only unprofessional, i feel it is racism. Well you need to improve the process of registration of patients(this cost you star!!!) , ihave meet with Dr.Maha Ragab , such anice doctor very welcoming ,understanding the kid condition, excellent presentation on how to use the medicine.

Very nice hospital.. specially dr bhatnagar (pediatrician) .. bt plz work on ur main landline for taking appointments .. no one pick the call for 15 20 mins

I went there with my husband as early as 10 am. We did not find too many people however we waited for almost 1 hour. Very very slow service.
