It was my first time to go to Sunken Garden I was invited to a birthday party, and i was amazed by the place and service, it is nice to stay in an open air area in summer without heat and humidity, food is nice with good quality, service is great, quick and staff are friendly, my only minor concern was the lightning it was a bit low, that it was a bit hard for me to see the food. But over all nice atmosphere, nice food :)

One of the few places in Dubai where you can still be outdoors in summer. In the middle of the Ritz courtyard, the cool and dense AC air is stuck in between the Ritz walls and you don’t feel the heat of summer even during the day. A good shisha experience and plenty of choices for drinks.

Sunken Garden is a little zen garden tucked in the middle of towering skyscrapersThis is my go-to place for shisha - they have a lovely selection of flavours and the service here is impeccable. The place also has a gorgeous view of the city which is definitely an added bonus.Their drinks are reasonably price - and sometimes it does get fully booked so make sure to make a reservation before coming here.

The service is terrible. You see a lot waiters going around but no one listens to you. It took us 3 hours to have tea and shisha. Even though there was a minimum spend of 200 per person. How could you apply a policy like that and then dont even bother to take the order.We sent a special request to meet the manager Mr. Jatin but he never came to the table. Not even a courtesy call after we left our details. Hope management can fix the service issue as it does not reflect Ritz standards at all.

Actually even with the hot days of the end of summer the place was quite cool. Its a great place to watch football with friends and smoke.

Flawless in every way. Price is a little high but its a Ritz Carlton! Food is delicious, drinks are amazing. Shisha is okay, limited flavours, nothing exciting. Ambience is AMAZING!!! Service is outstanding. Youre made to feel like royalty.

Such a nice place and actually my favorite spot in Dubai for Shisha. Unfortunately as many other places being under a bad management it got spoiled. I have been a loyal customer and always returning as I enjoy the quality of service and shisha. Now they have introduced a minimum spend policy which is in my opinion unnecessary and rather inconsistent. Sometimes they insist on the minimum charge, sometimes they dont. If they insist, I share that its not always being charged and there is no clear policy. I had several discussions with the manager, who is quite hostile and made me seem like I would lie and make up stuff. Apart from the horrendous manager, I feel that the minimum charge is out of greed and will make loyal customers including me look for other alternatives.

Best experience in dubai lounges.Its located in luxury hotel.They have many of delicious food.I adore sea food and linguine sea food white sauce.

The worst everReally that’s the worst place in DubaiRude team and rude manager they are shouting all the time and none come if you need anything and the manager is soo rude when I complained about something he replied if you don’t like it don’t come here again!! I don’t know how that person working in a place related to the Ritz hotels!!!

A very good outdoor cafe /restaurant, and lounge. It is the located in the limestone building in the DIFC district Dubai. Prices are a bit high, though it is relatively acceptable in this part of the city. They serve shisha. It is good in the winter time. It will be too hot to sit outside in summer

I went there to smoke shisha.... the atmosphere it’s nice but unfortunately the shisha isn’t.... I don’t recommend.

This place used to be a gem in DIFC, Ive been visiting on and off since 2010 (Not sure if it was called Sunken Garden back then) until one week before March lockdown . With the new minimum charge rules and quality of service it will definitely lose a big base of loyal customers. Really disappointing.

I came here with a friend on Friday night and loved it. We were extremely lucky to get lounge seating as it was quite crowded. Reservations are recommended if you want good seating. Despite being in the middle of summer, the open area was remarkably cool with great ventilation coupled with a selection of deep house music echoing through the open speakers. It was lovely to see the sky and the stars while we had our drinks that were also reasonably priced, accompanied by quick and attentive service. Their Shisha is amazing albeit pricey, but worth it, as it lasts well over an hour and a half. Sunken Garden misses a star because of a blunder that showed up on our bill. Instead of 2 double shots of whisky, they charged us for 22 shots. Needless to say, we were sober enough to realise the error, pointed it out and it was soon amended. I would surely come back here again. Highly recommended!

It is really slow and bad service. I cant believe how long we have just waited to see the waiter. Really bad thought. With this great cost we can get more attention. I do not advise you to take an important person with you, as they reflect a bad face of a great city

Disappointed customer!We use to love it, we use to visit you guys weekly and now suddenly u change ur rules.After you open, we came to visit and we couldn’t enter! They told us that we have to reserve and whole restaurant was almost empty!You guys started to choose ur visitors , which is really bad!Second time, we enter and after we order waiter came to inform us that we need to order minimum 200aed per person. This is really shame.Me and my friends use to come very often but from now on, we will never come back again.It’s sad to say this and this is the first time that we complain on any service.Continue and you will lose more loyal visitors.Thank youRegards

Really enjoyed this place. Excellent service and the vibe is excellent. Routinely stays busy till 2am every night. Really wonderful staff. Food is also delicious. Yeah, it’s a bit pricey but it’s Dubai and the Ritz.Definitely go here. You’ll enjoy it.

This place is perfect place where u can enjoy ur weekend with ur loved ones.Our table was served by Alik and he kept on anticipating our needs and assuring that we are all in comfort. Although he was wearing mask due to COVID-19 I could tell he is smiling at all times.In addition, This place is neat, clean and fresh!! :)

Sunken Garden is one of my favourite places in Dubai - a combination of chill-out music mixed with a sound of trickling water coming from the feature wall and the smell of shisha infused with an oriental perfume. Nevertheless, I should highlight the outstanding service of the people who work there. Their attention to detail and a desire to satisfy every customer request is outstanding. I have great memories from the Sunken Garden and I have to thank Marc and Saad for making my time there very special. Thank you both!

This place was beautiful, outdoor Shisha with a rainforest touch. Me and my Mrs loved this place. Your Shisha was extremely good, the flavours were fresh and sweet. I live in UK, so we will be visiting your place everytime we visit Dubai. Professional customer service, extremely efficient and fast.

Called the place and told first come first serve. When I arrived they asked me if I had reservation. After about an hour I got a table between two empty tables and they stayed empty the whole time I was there

Low class service and management

The place is inside the hotel. I went there at night, so it was dark but nice atmosphere. Staff are really nice, they showed me around the place and helped me pick a table. Argileh is good. I also ordered a drink which came with complimentary snacks. I like it, and I recommend it for argileh.

What a classy restaurant !I cant wait to visit this place again, very friendly staff mouth watering dishes and high standard services especially Rashid....his attention is just exceptional.

We came to celebrate our friend’s birthday and the guy at the reception said that it’s a minimum spend is 500 aed per person. And we were 4. So we had to spend there 2000 to stay there for two hours??? Overpiced and this place is not that level.Ridiculous! Never been there before and never going to advice my friends.

In my opinion this is the best place in Dubai to meet up with friends and chill out. They serve drinks, food and Hooka/Shisha. During the summer they air condition the area, so it is cool but it is open air so you can enjoy a shisha while also breathing fresh air. Highly recommended.

A hidden enclave in the heart of DIFC (Ritz Carlton). Sunken Garden is a relaxed restaurant and lounge serving food, drinks and shisha. Shisha is very good but pricier compared to other places in Dubai. Cool in winter but can get very hot during summer months

Its my favorite spot in Dubai for the last 9 years. Shisha is mind blowing thanks to Adnan, food is very delicious and staff are way beyond delivering service. The manager Said is always welcoming and accommodating us with great care, he simply rocks. Hats off to the entire team! Simply in love ❤️
