Awful experience! There are multiple Marhaba lounges in Dubai airport and when i went to the nearest one, it had a sign that theyre temporarily closed for renovation or some work and to please walk to the other one (10-15 mins away). I reach there, and the employee refuses to admit me, saying that the two lounges have separate access, both called Marhaba lounge by the way, and that i can only enter the closed one. Other option is to pay ~240 AED!
Walking from my flight with luggage being pushed in my hand in a small corridor an African employee from mahrba walking and on her phone with her wings being spread ( arms ) while walking and banging her hand with bag screaming in the corridor that I didn’t apologize! First of all its not my problem you are not awake while doing your job !!!! Second we are not in a zoo for you to scream on me and asking me to apologize!!!!!!!!!! I will not apologize for a disrespectful employee! Your services is to great people and not fight with people ! The incident happened 11;40 pm check the airport CCTV to see your employee reaction !! With expo coming and your employee attitude and service I guess marhaba need to teach morals and ethics to there “ welcoming “ employees !!! DISTURBING AND DISRESPECTFUL WORST EXPERIENCE AT DUBAI AIRPORTZERO RESPECT NEGATIVE EMPLOYEE WHO NEEDS TO BE TAUGHT SELF BEHAVIOR AND AFTER IT HOW TO BEHAVE TOWARD PPL
One of the best airports in the world today. Excellent for shopping. Lots of options. Very neat and clean. Directions are clear. 2 things they need to improve on.1. Need to have good vegetarian food options inside the airport for Vegetarian people2. Some of the gates do not have seating arrangements. So, all the people have to sit by in near by gate seats until the flight is ready for boarding.
Wonderful lounge at Dubai International Airport Terminal 3 Concourse A. It was very comfortable. Variety of food options cold, hot, salad and breads available. Various drinking options including tea, coffee, milk, soft drinks, soda water, orange and apple juice etc available. Customer service was good and staff were helpful.
Simply outstanding, very cozy, plenty of food options to choose from.
This is a nice place to eat. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner here during my short time in Dubai. The foods taste really well. Its an eat want you want kinda restaurant. You wont go wrong with this restaurant. The restaurant is also large, can hold about 50 people at a time. The meals were really nice and satisfying.
The experience was good. But theres alot of room for improvement. The seating is not enough at peak times. Certain sleeping sofas are just 4. The food options are limited. No fresh drinks, just a sugary orange juice. Coffee was the only diversified thing. Hospitality lacks!! I would have given just 2 stars but 3 stars because of the amazing biryani 😂
Very comfortable, luxurious area to spend your layover at. Here you will find facecloths, hair combs, and toothbrush and toothpaste packs in the toilets if you need to quickly freshen up. However, if you have the time to shower, so that instead. They supply what I mentioned above, towels, shower caps, shampoo and conditioner, and a hair dryer. Youll feel so good after a long uncomfortable flight.Their dinner and lounge areas are comfortable, with plug points to charge phones and laptops. The food is really tasty and ranges from cereals, muffins, and other breakfast goodies to local cuisine and a well stocked bar. It makes an amazing change from the airplane food. And my personal favourite, the daybeds. Here you can stretch out and catch up on some much needed sleep. You will also find an easy connection to the A gates from here so you dont have to leave the comforts of the lounge too early.
[May-2019] Big lounge but not that welcoming. Marhaba Lounge in terminal 3 A gate between gate 2 and 4, you need to go through the elevator to go to it. Food is acceptable and less than average. KeyLounge members will get only two hours and you can renew it if you need to. the shower is not free although the KeyLounge app shows that there is free shower. Internet is not that strong so connect to the airport network. There is no prayer room. You might see 7 people cleaning the lounge area but only two taking care of the food.
Is it normal for people to put their bare feet on tables where other people eat from?Enforce checks or something.Old person or young person, person with health problems or without health problems, you shouldnt put or allow someone put their feet on a table.Youre traveling with a suitcase right? Put your feet on that. Not where others eat.It ruined the whole experience to me and other fellow travelers. Never again. Even if its free.
In case you are an economy class traveler you can wait for your flight in relaxed environment the facility is free if you have certain credit cards via lounge key, buffet is good, unfortunately i had to wait for it as there was some problem in their electrical system and they asked me to wait for the buffet for 45 minutes or so, but as there was 2 hours delay in my flight so i had a nice hot meal buffet. alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks are available, showers and private rooms are also available, but make sure to reach your desired gate at time as the lounge is well over 30 minutes of walk + train ride from B gates, so keep this in mind while relaxing in the lounge.
As a frequent guest at airport lounges, I can easy say that this is not one of the best in Dubai airport. Its on the top floor so away from the buzz, but it isnt that large so can get rather noisy and busy. The quality of its buffer is comparable with a 3* hotel however it does have other offerings. The furniture layout is similar to Emirates Business Class lounge however the customer service isnt - an area in need of improvement, so does the food as it was rather bland (Ive attached a photo of my breakfast).
Met at reception by friendly attendant. Thats where the fun stopped. The lounge itself was worn and bland. 3 chairs per small table align the window area that allow for consumption of meals. Simple and uncomfortable lounge type chairs in a 3 line configuration are in the centre of the lounge. The attendant at the pathetic self serve buffet style was half asleep and looked like he wanted to kill himself. It was 5am and there were breakfast foods and simple sandwiches available only. I thought this was an international airport. Some of us wanted dinner or lunch style food types. Lounge was full. Plates and glasses were not collected. The place looks tired and neglected. Avoid this place and go to the Ahlan Lounge instead. It really isnt worth any money. If it is a free pass you have then it may be slightly better than waiting in the airport. Maybe. The Marhaba corporation do not care.
Just at the end of my stay I realized that only not noisy area is the smoking part.So here I go strict nonsmoker just for reason not to be tortuted by screaming kids, staff nonstop hitting with plates and cutlery into tables..Felt like..how much noise you can make in one minute competition..to comment on the level food quality..dont even go there..and yes I would be expecting completelly different type of chairs..those are not chairs you can comfortably rest..yet try to sleep in the miidle of the night.
I with no doubt love Dubai international airport. Terminal 3 is my favorite. The Marhaba lounge has everything traveler needs. Smoking rooms, as Im smoker, is one of the best advantageous in this lounge. The food and drinks are great as well. In short, I always go to airport far earlier than the departure time of my flight just to enjoy the duty free and the its various facilities.
Good variety of food and drinks
A place to sit and wait, not a great selection but able to fill a hole could be a lot better especially for Dubai that is know for its standard of service. Staff not most professional
Excellent. Loved the place. Food, dessert, coffee was amazing. Attendants were helpful. Its spacious and had lot of room with comfortable seating. Charging stations were next to your seats. I also noticed that they had kids playing area. Toilets were clean. Im giving it 4 stars as it didnt have recliners. But, thats not a bummer. The atmosphere is very relaxing.
1. Crowded.2. Coleslaw Sandwish 2/103. Mango mousse 2/10Couldnt try anything else.
Good food and drinks, less seats to sleep
Was just passing byI hope they give me a free access
Excellent lounge. Breakfast was lavish
Excellent nice quiet and comfortable. Nice selection of food and drink
Great WiFi, Geat Food. Amazing in one word.
I cant say its very good. But its okay .....Type....
Ok... wish it will be better in th future
A pretty decent resting area for travellers, providing recliner chairs, fast wifi, refreshments and a smoking room. The food served here is disappointing in terms of taste and flavour, especially for those avcustomed to tasty food items, including Indians.
Nice lounge in Dubai airport.
Although it was pretty busy when I arrived (6am) the staff were patient, efficient and helpful. Seats are comfortable, and of course there are the much appreciated (though a little pricey) showers.Food was filling and reasonably tasty, though its a limited selection. Plenty of other drinks and of course good coffee. Its quiet even when busy, worth that lounge key pass.
Very busy, need to line up for seats and tea and coffee. Buffet is standard. Big space.
This place is terrible, you will be better off going to a restaurant. They squeeze you in like sardines, the food is not great and every now and then an alarm goes off that wakes my baby. Best to avoid this place. I can seriously not believe that this is the standand of a premium lounge in Dubai.
Amazing lounge. Their showers are great. The food is good. A very relaxing area in general. This is the best lounge in the airport. Staff from the other lounges were nice enough to tell me not to check-in in other lounges because I was signed up for this lounge. It is a no notification lounge, so be aware of that. Keep an eye on your flight status
After a very long flight, this lounge was exactly what we needed. There are clean bathrooms, a buffet and drinks and very helpful and friendly staff. We stayed for 4 hours and then used the option to pay for the shower, which was a brilliant decision. All in all, a very worthwhile experience.
Very cool, quite and nice people
Crowded with a smattering of food. Gone are the days when it was a real treat
Great place to relax and eat , only problem is about the policy as they were not accepting my visa platinum and luckily I was having my other master platinum card. Dubai airport administration should look into this matter if they have closed other Marhaba lounge thn the open one should accept all cards .
Disappointed. When we checked in, we were told that the lounge was full. We decided to stay anyways, probably a bad decision. After finding seats, we went to the counter and selected a few items. But there was no silverware available. It took the staff about 10 minutes to bring out silverware(!). Another 10 minute wait. Why cant the Marhaba Lounge keep up with the service? Food items definitely could be improved. They were either tasteless, or just bad.I could not recommend this facility.
Free food based on having an approved credit card and a boarding pass. Nice before boarding
Fantastic place .. food is great...
Great place to spend your transit period, yummy food and friendly staff.
The service was excellent.
Vietnam rice noodle prawn very good
This lounge has multiple locations at DXB. This review is for the one located in terminal 3. This is a membership lounge rather than an airline tier membership or class dependant lounge. You can also access the lounge if you hold a certain level of credit card.I visited this lounge (for the first time) for 3 hours (23:00 - 02:00) as I waited for my 02:40 Emirates flight from Dubai to London.Unsure if the time of day had an impact on services as my visit was underwhelming.Upon arrival I was greeted by a pleasant assistant who processed my check-in without any fuss. Although it was obscure hours, the lounge was rather busy.I found a space right behind the check-in counter. There was seating for 4 on my island with a glass table in the middle and a raised marble table between the seats. This marble side table made it so much more comfortable to keep drinks and snacks saving you having to reach over to the table. There were 2 power sockets available per island.Upon sitting down and getting comfortable, I immediately noticed that I was feeling warm. One of selling points of the lounge (I believe their first listed perk) was air conditioning. Anyone who has visited Dubai, especially during the summer months knows how important AC is. I was seriously disappointed. After exploring the lounge, I found 2 segregated VIP rooms reserved for Marhaba platinum customers and a smoking room at the very end of the lounge. There are showers available for an addition cost of UAE67 (£15/$18). The toilets were nice and kept clean. No issues. The biggest let down was the food and bar service. Service staff were not as welcoming and friendly as I would expect in a paid for lounge. On one side, a very limited number of hot food choices that had seen better days. Cold/stale sandwiches that had been left out for too long. Some wrapped muffins and sweet choices in the middle of it all, very strange. On the other side were selfservice bottles of still and sparkling water with an ice bucket. Next to the water were one type of selfservice crisps (potato chips) and nuts. A choice of the usual softdrinks and alcohol were readily available. At the end of the bar was a bean to cup coffee machine that had a selection of types of coffee and tea.The lounge has decent WiFi as I was able to catch up on some Netflix and Plex.Overall I was disappointed but I would visit again for the comfortable seating, clean facilities and WiFi as its quieter than the general departure lounge.
Place is quite crowded most of the time. Food is fine and kids play area and other amenities help keeping your young ones occupied
The Marhaba lounge in Terminal 3 is actually a nice lounge. Not as large as the Emirates lounges but so far the nicest independent lounge Ive been to.Its spacious and airy and the food options were actually nice and tasty.I mixed my pasta with sweet and sour chicken... that made for a tasty meal...
A lot of people, but there is no order, no food and never attitude. I heard they got a aword of year. Who and why..?
Disappointed. When we checked in, we were told that the lounge was full. We decided to stay anyways, probably a bad decision. After finding seats, my wife went to the counter and selected a few items. But there was no silverware available. It took the staff about 10 minutes to bring out silverware(!). I went for a glass of wine; only to find out that there was no glasses available! Another 10 minute wait. Why cant the Marhaba Lounge keep up with the service? Food items definitely could be improved. They were either tasteless, or just bad.I could not recommend this facility.
