The afternoon tea is delightful! With refillable food and beverages, the outdoor seating is the perfect choice to chill out and enjoy bite-sized portions and a selection of tea and coffee. The staff is very professional. They extend a warm welcome, and lovely hospitality throughout the duration of the visit. Our hosts Jaitske, Jovana and Niv were always at hand, and took excellent care of us!

You can always upgrade to the high afternoon tea with bubbly too 😊Make sure to come towards sunset time to enjoy that amazing part of the day and be witness to the changing colours and lights in the ambience around. Most importantly for me this place is vegan friendly 😍

Great ambience, food quality was also good. Service was too good, all the staff was so cooperative and friendly. The thing i liked the most, was their gate persons at entrance, they were so so friendly and caring to their guests.

Vary cozy place. They have big variety of cocktails, coffee and dessert, for the food you can find russian “borsh” soup and “pelmeni” ravioli in the menu.You can listen to a live piano music from 4:30-8:00pm everyday except Mondays and arabic duo (oud and tabla players) from 8:00pm till midnight everyday except Sundays.

AMAZING afternoon tea. Every food item was beautifully cooked and well presented. The iced caramel latte was better than anything I had before (I ordered 2 🙊). The views were lovely. The staff was friendly and checked on us the perfect amount of time, not too in your face or too absent. We felt like royalty when in Al Samar lounge and we left with our bellys full. The ONLY negative I would say was part of the dessert lollypop sticks... Or maybe because we were so full from everything else, the sight of more food was off putting by that time!

Came here to have a catch up with friends, and the venue was just perfect! Sat outside early evening. Surroundings are beautiful and quiet. Service & drinks were excellent.

Surprised with service!When we arrived, we were not received with a smile and then taken to our table. After, we waited for half an hour for any one to come and ask what we can drink I afternoon tea. The food was good, but not the best when compared to other 5 star lounges.In my opinion, staff was nice but need to increase their professionality level.The place is amazing, the view and setup are great.I have mixed emotions about recommending the place to others.

Excellent customer service. Afternoon tea here was good and entertainer vouchers could be used. The tea was particularly tasty especially the passion fruit iced tea.

The absolute worsr service. Not sure if its always like this or due to the holiday. Went for afternoon tea. It took 25 mins fir someone to serve us. When we finally got service at 545pm we were told afternoon tea was over. Even though the website said it ended at 6pm. When we mentioned this. They said we had to book in advance. We asked if we could just get some scones then. NO again we were told. So we begrudgingly just ordered some tea and a slice of lemon cake. The tea took another 20 mins to arrive and our waitress was no where in sight. So we asked another staff member about the cake slice. He disappeared for 10 mins then came back to tell us it was sold out. Something no one bothered to tell us until we asked about the delay. The head waitress reappeared but never came back to our table or apologised. With a cup of tea at 38 aed you at least expect good service.

Made a reservation for afternoon tea and when asked if there were any dietary restrictions, I informed the restaurant that a guest in our group had a nut allergy - the restaurant assured me that this wouldnt be an issue and that the kitchen would replace the items with nuts with something different. I get a call today to inform me that they only cater to gluten-free and vegetarian dietary restrictions. Needless to say I am extremely confused and disappointed that a lounge as established as Al-Samar is unable to accommodate nut allergies. What a joke.😑
