I love the location - near by Marina, but quite, greenish, open fresh air, large choices of a restaurants, cinema, parking is available. The only issue that somehow all the restaurants, or maybe whole building of a Recreation Club, facing a problems with an AC. They are using an additional coolers but it was still hot inside when we visited the place at last May. I dont know if they fixed it now or not. Anyway this place gives a good impression and I advice you to try it once.

A beautiful place of leisure hidden away in the Jebel Ali area. A combination of 5 outlets including reel cinemas for movie watching. The outlets are restro pubs with different themes and cuisines. One can select the vibe and decide on the place to enter.

Great gym for a compound, could do with a change in layout as some equipment is difficult to use fully. Some equipment needs to be swapped out as some of it is less than useful. Particularly leg extension and leg curls, the machines are not good.

Worse service we’ve ever experienced! We’ve been coming to JARC for years since we’re Nakheel property owners. We love the food and the ambience. But what we experienced last night changed every positive experience in the restaurant.Our very impolite and unfriendly waitress Arlyn, asked to take our order. While we’re still speaking, walked away to take the pad and did not even bother to excuse herself! Then we kindly asked for our photo to be taken, she replied just wait I have to take something from the back, then she went to the bar counter just stood there and did not even bother to come back to our table! As if nothing happened! She then placed the plates on our table without even looking where she’s dropping it, almost bumping on our drinks.Food arrived, as always it was great. The only good thing about dinner.Finally we asked for the bill just wanting to get away from all the negativity from your staff. Bill came and we were charged extra for the pizza topping. We’ve been eating there for many years, we know that it’s only 10dhs per topping. How many costumers have been charged double just because no one is checking the bill?Arlyn informed us that she will just charge the card 10dhs less, slamming the new receipt on our table. Yes, it’s only 10dhs we don’t care much but everything is about honesty and respect.Stay away from this place if you don’t want to be served as if they’re giving u a favor. People come and spend their hard earned money on your restaurant to relax and celebrate something special. They deserve to be treated with respect and care. If your staff does not want to work then maybe you should give them a break or tell them not to work at all.

Loads of different starters followed by carvery turkey and beef plus the pigs in blankets! There was seafood and all kinds of potatoes and delicious vegetables. Good gravy too! Desserts galore, great service and endless drinks with table service. Well done team! Loved the live band! Our brunch was awesome! See you next Christmas! ❤️❤️❤️

I love to think this as my secret spot but a lot of people know about it! Great place for the entire family to hang out. Entertainment for the kids, the done in cinema and some really lovely eateries. Highly recommend a visit!

The place is perfect to chill and enjoy affordable drinks and dynamite shrimps. And the shisha is perfect with Sam making amazing mixes that satisfy all tastes. Ask for the red gummy bear 🐻 shisha.

Quiet, relaxed club tucked away inside Jebel Ali village. Ideal for those living in the area, or willing to make the drive. The Clubhouse (restaurant) has a decent but not expansive menu, and more importantly is licensed. It is a pet friendly place - although the house cat can get insistent and demanding once food appears. The food is average, so is the service. The constant flashing of the advertising screen in the center of the crown can get irritating for some.Nice ambience dining al fresco in the winter months, but be prepared to wait over the weekend, as the place gets very busy - especially with the social distancing controls. There used to be live music on weekends prior to the CoVid restrictions, but well have to make do with recorded music for now.

Great location for Jebal Ali Village, the Old club is sort of still hidden in there.

Visited Jebel Ali Recreational club on a Friday for the brunch and the ambiance was lit. Circus was the theme and a great place for kids and families to enjoy.

I was there to attend a squash tournament over the weekend, enough parking , well organised and managed event with proper social distancing and safety protocol.

Not enough seats not enough tables. And the male manager is absolutely rude and actually screamed and shouted at my guests. This is not the first time this male manager has been rude and uncouth to my guests. Stay away.

Good service and very clean and santized atmosphere for a family. The management maintained the social distancing very well and intact refused a table which we chose stating it was not safe as per the current rules. Appreciate them for taking care. Would recommend this foe the food and the service.

Whenever you’re in need for an unwinding session after a long day or you just want to step away for a while from the hustle and bustle of the city, Jebel Ali Recreation Club is the perfect place for you and we’ll tell you why.We were invited by the Jebel Ali Clubhouse team itself to be a part of their grand re-opening. To say the least, it was a fantastic evening that started out slow but ended on such a wonderful note. Our evening ended up being filled with lovely banter, laughter and of course FOOD!Jebel Ali Recreational Club is located near Ibn Batuta Mall in Jebel Ali Village in Dubai. There’s ample of parking available which a definite plus in our books.The entire structure of JARC is sort of like an amphitheatre like arrangement with a large canopy for shade. As we entered, we had contacted a member of the PR team that had invited us and were handed over wrist bands (indicating our coupons) without any hassles whatsoever. The entire event went smooth and was organized quite well. Once inside, we noticed the place was packed with all kinds of people.Couples, families, groups of friends and so on, it was quite a mixed crowd which is perfect as you don’t need a specific type of company here any company is good company. Overall the entire place had such a causal and laid back vibe to it which was enhanced even more with the amazing winter weather and its smooth flowing music.The evening being its Grand Opening, the event organizers had also arranged for Samba dancers and Fire breathers to performers at intervals throughout the night. It was quite a spectacular performance and surely kept everyone thoroughly entertained.Within the structure there are four restaurants in total offering cuisines and experiences quite diverse from each other. Namely, The Clubhouse which also has an in-house pub called the Ship’s Wheel, Seafood Kitchen, Café Milano and Andalucia.Unfortunately, we had the opportunity to visit only two of the restaurants.Starting with Seafood Kitchen, first off AH-MAZING décor! The lighting above along with the surrounding aesthetics gives the whole place a sea shore sort of vibe. Apart from its wonderfully curated menu they also provide a panel of fresh fish to choose from and to be cooked as per our liking. Customers are always right indeed! Our biggest let down at this place was the astonishingly slow service, maybe it was due to under staffing issues or the large crowd at the opening night but those reasons still do not justify waiting for over an hour for just one plate of food. We found the food average and the mocktails at par. The décor and the interior works were the only saving grace at this establishment.Next up was The Club House. This place was our favourite of the two. The interiors, just like any other end high pub was quite cosy and laid back with lovely lounge chairs and a nice wooden flooring. It is a modern bar with a glass fronted kitchen serving American and Italian cuisine. A complete contrast to the service at Seafood Kitchen, here the service was quite fast. The food served here wasn’t the best we’ve had but they weren’t as bad either. We loved the desserts and will definitely be considering another round here to try out their breakfast options.Overall it was fantastic evening and a great experience. We’re glad we found this place and now you know do too.Some of the highlights would be:– Ample parking space– Kid friendly environment– Breakfast options– Live music– Perfect for any occasion whether formal or informal– A full barDon’t miss on this hidden gem of a place especially when the winter is here.Let us know about your experience there as well. My perfect Thursday night specially on winters. Live Music , Sheesha, Drinks , Food and Dine In Cinema Experience at Reel Cinemas. Its few mins away from IBN Batutta and away from all the city hustles. They have few restaurants with really good food here ! We have dine in at the Guys Feri, my all time fav restaurant . Great Ambience if yu love outdoor

We were the only ones in asian kitchen on sat eve ...the service was fast and staff was good and courteousfood was a bit dissapointing... tried mocktail lemon grass twist whch was nice ..the thai salad didnt have the right flavour.the singapore noodles tasted like indian chinese street food

Love this place. A great escape in Dubai when the weather is nice. Reasonable priced for an open drink buffet. However i have to say the food is not five star but there is quite a verity to find something to eat .

What can I say - Been using the club since I moved to Dubai 20+ years ago and love it as much today as ever. Shiny new facility with remnants of the old days (Ships Wheel!). Meeting mates for a drink or going out for dinner or a quiet coffee - JARC ticks ALL the boxes ;-)

This used to be the best restaurant in Dubai when the old Recreation Club was open with its British Pub style and the great Indian cuisine.Now it was turned into a small restaurant area in the typical modern Dubai style as you can find it in most places. Food is OK but there is no more cozy atmosphere.Good side: it is one of the smaller strolls in Dubai and less busy.
