Absolute gem! Amazing food, the bread was so soft and melting in your mouth! Chicken taouk was so tender, perfect flavours. Even the complimentary sides were so flavourful! Great host as well the person who serviced my table, such friendly attitude, great customer skills! Will come back for sure! Thank you!
The interior is nice, they got a separate and huge smoking area.We ordered Mix grill (enough for 2) contains 3 lamb kabab (not up to the mark) 1 skewer of lamb tikka (quite good) 2 skewer of chicken sheesh tawak (nice taste). It has no Chops or Arayes 👎👎It doesnt come with any salad or hummus/olives. You have to order everything separately.Staff was clearly not very keen (maybe the main focus is smoking area which is big and busy) They didnt bother asking if we liked the food or need anything else.132 for mix grill that contains 6 skewer in total and taste just nice is over priced for me.
Food: Good quality and variety. Portion sizes are fair.Location: At the very far end of Festival City Mall. Directly outside the fountains (if you havent seen these check out the video on my YouTube channel). One of the best features about this place.Service: Polite and helpful staff. There will be a wait for the food.Ambiance: Depends on where you sit. There is outside seating for smoking (shisha) and non-smoking customers. Lovely view of the fountains/sea. Nice place for couples or family. Tables are tight which makes it awkward if you order multiple dishes.Price: On the higher end.
One of my favourite sunset views can be seen in Dubai Festival City (DFC) and this restaurant allows you to see it while having a meal or having some drinks with some shisha. Its an absolutely breathtaking view and i highly recommend everyone to try having an early dinner or late lunch here around sunset time. The food here is also really really good! you really cant go wrong with Lebanese Food. The team here is really friendly too - definitely an added bonus.
We came here for the first time today for some Lebanese food. Honestly the food was very good but the service was outstanding. Our server Brian was quick and helpful, but the above and beyond came from the supervisor Ibrahim. He corrected a very minor error with treating us with desert. 1st time customers but now we are sure to return again.
I was 2 times with my husband. The fresh juice were the best! I ordered lemon mint. The best juice in Dubai.!!!!
We were out shopping in the festival city mall and as it was lunch time we decided to visit this beautifully designed lebanese restaurant. We ordered,The chicken mozzarella sandwich AED45Mixed grill with fatoush and hummus sides AED72Fattet shishbarak with dried mint AED34Mint lemonade AED20Samsom, opened in early 2018, was on our list of to be discovered places. We finally got to try out this fantastic place..The founders of this restaurant chain are on a mission! to take Lebanese cuisine all over to the worldFood was exquisite, presentation was beautiful and the overall experience was just out of the world! My favourite was the chicken mozzarella sandwich. It was oozing flavours and was deliciously crunchy.Another favourite was the fattet shishbarak. It was deliciously made with the right mix of ingredients. The mélange of laban, chickpea and toasted pita is just gorgeous.Mixed grill was quite good. I opted for double shish taouk and kebab. Served with traditional accompaniments such as toum (garlic sauce), batata harra (spiced potato) and lemon and chilly. You get to choose from a variety of sides and I ordered fattoush and hummus. It was a fulfilling dish and the freshly baked bread served with it was just spot on..Mint lemonade was good and went well with the food.Overall the food was just mouth-watering and the ambience is just stunning. I loved the intricately designed outdoors and elegantly decorated indoors. The dispense bar is also beautifully designed with copper utensils and moorish tiles. It was a shame that we didnt get to try their famous desserts and sheesha..I will definitely go back to try them out..
Delicious BBQ plates, nice waterfront view, but prices are pittle bit costly
This was my first visit to the restaurant. Food was excellent, we had Semsom kebabs which was spicy and came with almond. Tabbouleh was very fresh and good as well. I was about to smoke hookah but found out it cost AED 76 which was ridiculously expensive!⇉ follow me for useful info and travel tips for different destinations to travel economically on Instagram @rashport
What a nice , clean , safe and spacious restaurant. Their waiters are very welcoming and helpful. Especially Islam he will do whatever please the customer. Beside their food is amazingly great. Definitely recommended.
It is not enough to keep the meat 24 hours then to offer it as sandwiche with this thick bread that make it lose all the good taste. You gotta change the bread.
I like the food they serve at semsom, it tastes good and fresh, full with flavors. they have a good options of different lebanese food. the location is nice as well
Shisha is nice, nice view and ambiance but very limited menu
Price is very high with respect to the presented food . Generally its OK but there are many much better
Nice placeGood foodDidnt like that the outdoor are is closed
Order soup, grilled chicken, liver, humous and shisha. Everything was sub par. The grilled chicken was overcooked with reheated fries, the liver was in a bed of pomegranate water rather than a nice sauce and the shisha had a burnt taste from the moment it was started. I was hosting a guest so didnt have the best experience.Chose this place due to the reviews and the nice view.Really was hoping for freshly cooked Lebanese food. Will not be going back.No pictures were taken
Good location. Excellent staff. Flavor is variable. Some dishes were good. Others were very generic with no authentic taste. Pricing depends on what you choose. Expected pricing for mall resturants.
Authentic Lebanese taste. Good food and variety. Lovely ambiance.
I submitted an order ((shawarma dish)) that was supposed to be a plate full of chicken shawarma. I was surprised that only the amount of shawarma does not exceed a small shawarma sandwich .. it was a not good experience, unfortunately, it was the first and the last at the same time
Reasonable pricewise, but nothing brilliant. The food was just ok and the portions just big enough to keep us from leaving hungry. There was no hummus provided as a pre meal snack and I want free hummus in a Lebanese restaurant!!!!
Its a good place and food is tasty, staff was extremely busy i thi k they have to hire more staffYou need to visit and try their food 👍
Delicious cuisine. Friendly staff. Great service.
Delicious food waitress Nermeen very friendly and goes out of her way to make her guest really happy. Thank you
Not much expensive for this food quntity
Food below average .... delay in attending and serving customers .... ambiance and view are nice though
The food is amazing, the outdoor seating area also great with a great view . The prices are good and the staff there are very polite and nice . The atmosphere as well . Highly recommended if ur visiting rak . Go try this place.
What a strange experience, walked in,l for breakfast, lady and gentleman seemed clueless, directed myself to the outside area, told the waitress Im here for the breakfast, was given a half torn menu, sat for 15 minutes, noone attended to me, I just walked off, very strange experience..This happened just now, hope management can review the video and fix their issues..
Outdoor dining area is fascinating, staff are professional and friendly.
Food quality and presentation not goodStaff service need some better training
I loved the foodgreat view from the terracefair pricesfamily friendly
I love itPerfect service 👌 and delicious breakfast
Portions are small and services is slowAll the food was so salty including laban ayran as wellDisappointing
Nice setting outside, ok food.
Very nice food, fast service and lovely crew
A must pay visit Lebanese restaurant, over-all is awesome 👌
Exellent foodFriendly people
Very nice view while u r enjoying the food and shisha if u r a fan of
Grilled beef & kabab are great but a bit pricey
The View Very Nice and The Food Good
It got much better. I had visited them about a year ago more than once, but then we decided to stop going there coz their food and service were short of our standard expectations. We did visit them again in December 2019 and they did get much much better. The service was uplifted the taste of the food was even better. The only remaining negative feedback is their price and the value for money on the menu; its still on the expensive side. After all, its a restaurant in DFC... prices should take that into consideration
Update: After speaking to the restaurant about the poor food, they listened attentively and next day provided complementary lunch dishes. This time the taste was spot on. Appreciate that the restaurant took the feedback in stride and rectified the situation.Ordered for delivery for lunch meal. Ordered couple of dishes. The shawarma dish was not flavorful at all. Additionally, it is quite disappointing that the dish is called a shawarma dish. It was simply two triangle shaped thin bread with chicken in the middle. It should be more appropriately labelled as a chicken with bread dish. Having a dish in this region is appalling. I would expect such a dish to be called shawarma in the Western world, not in the heart of the GCC. The portion size was miniscule. We ordered couple of other chicken dishes and unfortunately again, the flavour was lacking. To top off the experience, the prices are exorbitant. Not recommended.
Slow and bad service
Could not use our Zomato gold because their system was down. Not sure why as a customer that would be my problem.Used to visit this place before but wont anymore out of principle. Whats the use of having a Zomato gold account which the outlet itself uses as part of their advertisement but cant give them my code because their system doesnt work.
Friendly staffGood location
Tasty food and relaxing place to spend an evening.
Tasty food and excellent quality
Great lebanese food with nice seating by the fountain.
Actual rating: 3.4Nice new waterfront Lebanese restaurant in Dubai Festival City Mall. Chilled atmosphere that provides separate smoking/non-smoking areas. They also have TV screens and show football matches. What we had: lamb chops, chicken shawarma, hummus and falafelThe lamb chops were ok but they were quite small compared to other restaurants. The remaining food was quite tasty and provided good portion sizes. What could be changed? Larger or more lamb chops.Pricing: reasonable, mid-rangeAlcohol? No
I recommend this place. The staff are friendly and professional. Food is yummy. Tables and seating is comfortable. Try it and it will be your forever place
Terrible food. Tabbouli missed dressing, grape leaf thing was too salty - couldn’t eat. Waste of moneyAlso I couldn’t rate them one Deliveroo for some reason. Avoid
Margarita was amazing
Authentic Lebanese food
I like the fact is this restaurant serve fusion Lebanese cuisine, however. In my opinion not all meals and appetizers flavors are delicious.. like for example Archishock Salad doesnt worked with mustard 😫
Went to this restaurant with some friends for lunch. We ordered hommus, tabouleh, fatouch, rkakat, batata harra w batat b kzbra, warak enab, sojek, and mashewe mshakal. knefe as dessert (must try) and lebanese coffee after lunch 😍. Delicious food, friendly staff.Recommended
Delecious arabian food 🌷
Vary good
Bad services، it is clear that the restaurant operates with few employees without management ,needs an effective management.
Food is fulfilling. Hygiene protocol was followed to the fullest
Differentiates itself from other Arabic cusine restaurants with its variety of Hummus offerings. The Basil Hummus was awesome and the Hot Breads served are fresh and of excellent quality
Tasty food, great service
Very nice outdoor area. Food is also very good
Very rude staff . if i could give zero i would have but its not possible.
Modern lebanese food
Great food nice atmosphere and great if you can book the tables overlooking the light show
- Food quality: everything very tasty and good ( fattoush, rocca salad, tabbouleh, artichoke salad, potatoes balls etc)- Food portions: everything good to share for 2 persons.- Ambient: nice terrace with a view, smoking and non smoking area, very pleasant dining.- Price : normal, but its the best restaurant you can get if visiting Festival city mall.- Staff: Very corteous and accommodating. We come here every two weeks almost to dine, definitely like it!
It was fine, but not sure what the twist is. The best thing for me about this restaurant was how pleasant the non smoking area is and the nice view.
Not an authentic Lebanese Restaurant. Food is medium.
My favourite arabic restaurant!!! Thank god the windows are closed to shut off the horrible laser show of festival city. Otherwise I wouldnt come back!
Good Lebanese Food.Nice Decoration in Place.Very good Location in Festival City.
Best place to hangout with friends n family... separate sections for smokers n non smokers...
Excellent place for Lebanese food. They serve shisha. The have a small corner for kids. Afternoon is the best time to go and sit out side
Awesome food. The best lebanese food ever tasted. Definitely 5 star rating.
Very rude staff they dont know how to deal with customers.
Loved the food and the complimentary dried bread with different dippings. The portions were ok but it was overpriced
Cozy place with a wonderful view. Good for shisha and reasonabl prices
