Had a great lunch experience at Babel. Ambiance, service and food everything was on point. They have a whole range of fresh selections of sea food. We ordered a lot of stuff but my favorites were Shrimp a la provencale, Chili potatoes, Lobster in savoury and Kunafa in desserts. Would love to go back again and try other dishes.

This is a branch of a famous restaurant in Lebanon. The place has just opened two months ago at La Mer. Beautifully decorated, nice fish and seafood display. Outdoor terrace which is very convenient for cool weather period.Attentive and friendly service in spite of the formal outfit of the waiters.Like the main restaurant in Lebanon, the food is focused on seafood. The fish was really fresh and tasteful. The mezzaz were also very good. Some items like the small sardines which is one of their specialties in Lebanon was not available. The desserts were creative and delicious.Will come again.

Great Lebanese food based around fish and not the usual meat dishes. Very nice seating area inside and out and very friendly staff. A little expensive but worth it.

A nice Lebanese restaurant in La Mer. However, it is more towards non-vegetarian specialities especially sea food so very little options for veggies😋 However, they do serve amazing Lebanese breads along with dips,which is complementary. Vegetarians can have Batata Harra and Cheese sticks.Nevertheless, hospitable staff and amazing service!

Tempted by high overall rating I visited restaurant yesterday. And here is my experience. I give 2 stars - one for interior and one for food. Everything else is disappointing. Service is a nightmare. When I received my bill I knew why - they add 10% for service to every reservation. So they just do not care. I had to pour wine myself, dishes were not taken promptly. With almost empty ground level where I was sitting it was often hard to find a waiter. Regarding menu - I can understand that some fish may not be there, but wine ? This is not professional and I choose the wine recommended by waiter. Ridiculous. Men toilet was not clean - water was splashed all over the floor. My overall experience was terrible and I think that it is totally overrated and overpriced. I visited a day before 10 times cheaper not fancy place in town and had better service than received here. I do not recommend visiting - you can find better place with decent pricing easily.

A warm and enriching food experience. Definitely, a place to be. Choose any day of the week, the restaurant gives you refined comforts and makes you feel at home. In terms of the food, you can really taste the purity of Lebanese cuisine in addition to their seafood which you can order from their live seafood display.

Great experience!Our Lebanese mate highly recommended this place so we had our reunion here on a Monday evening.Restaurant itself sits in a great location, it’s a pity that we are here in summer season, too hot to sit outside. Though inside is quite nice as well, beautiful decor and great ambiance. Restaurants staff are super friendly and profesional.Since our friend comes here often we just let him order whatever he thinks we should try as it’s our first proper Lebanese meal here. He ordered way too much food hence unfortunately we ended up wasting some of it.Food is quality! Fresh seafood, we got a huge fish which I didn’t take a pic of! Delicious dishes, breads and dipping...Just on a light note, the kiwi in the fruit platter was a bit too raw to eat or cut:) other than that, we had a great dining experience!Would def suggest this place to the others when they are in town!

Authentic Lebenese seafood place offering authentic Lebenese Shisha , which is hard if not impossible to find in Dubai , sat on the deck for some Mezze and shisha, great ambience , Mr Mazen went out of this way yo help us get seated despite the restraunt being super busy , will surely be returning.

Excellent food selection. specialists in seafood mainly. With few meat kebab plates. Humus and fatoush salad is superb.

Generally ok but expected better. The cook really loves lemons an we could feel the intensity of it in all our dishes. But too much for our taste.

Very good place. The location is so good with a nice view to the beach . The food was awesome specially the fish and sea food .I highly recommend the salted sea fish . They are open at 5 pm . The service was really good and the prices are fair compared to the location and quality of food . Highly recommend it .

Not bad. We had a poor service day wherein the food all came at once (cold and hot mezze and mains) but the staff fixed the situation for us after some back and forth. Wouldnt recommend if youre on a budget and wanting to treat yourself—you can get arabic food mostly as good for half the price.Nice ambience upstairs. Friendly and helpful staff. Limited menu, which is a good thing.Highlights are the salmon tartare, boneless chicken and of course the seafood display, which I would argue is what makes this place worth considering.

I asked ONE question do you have a table?. Two teenage waiters approached me, one clearly eyeballing me up and down on how I was dressed (European in shorts, p.s this place is by the beach). And the other gave me a lecture about booking, fully reserved blablabla, I just left. A simple reply such as Sorry sir we are fully occupied, perhaps I could reserve a table for you when available if you like. Simply underqualified waiters in MIB suits.

Good Cuisine, the staff is trying to be professional but seriously - they have substituted wet tissues with sanitizer? Sanitizer is not for cleaning your hands after eating, guys. Sanitizer is for disinfection.

One of my favorite Lebanese style Fish restaurants in Dubai. Quality of food is top notch. Great selection of Lebanese dishes but if you are a fish lover you would not be disappointed. They will prepare the fish in any way you like. Plus the staff is super accommodating on special requests. I really can’t find a thing to fault them on. One of my new favorite restaurants in the city.

Chic, great ambiance, service and above all food. One of top Lebanese eateries in the city, right up with the likes of Wafi Gormet. The fish selection is awesome. Obviously not a budget restaurant but worth a visit every now and again

I have tried Babel in Lebanon .. it was an amazing.. This time was in Dubai.. Everything was very good.. food, ambiance and friendly staff.. but the waiters speak 3 languages in one sentence.. all people know Lebanese way in speaking but they have to consider the clients who don’t know French or English..But once more it was an amazing experience..Chicken grilled was soooo tasty, the sea food was tasty and without smell and the wine 🍷 was amazing.. Thank you for everything.. you made our anniversary 🥂

Amazing Food, gr8 service, value for money

Excellent food. The menu has a wide variety of options. You also get to pick your fresh fish and sea food downstairs and they will cook it to your liking. The terrace upstairs is ideal for a nice quiet dinner. The restaurant could use a bit of music for a better vibe.Avoid going on Fridays because its busy with families and children, so it tends to get a bit loud. We will definitely be going again.

Well, I didnt try Babel in Lebanon so I thought its a regular Lebanese restaurant; I was surprised to see that the main emphasis in the menu is seafood which is not my cup of tea. The environment was amazing, the service as well and the food was tasty. The overall experience is good but I believe they should mention that itsa Lebanese Seafood restaurant

This is my all time favorite Lebanese restaurant. When friends from abroad visit I want them to experience an absolute delicious middle east meal beginning with mezza and ending with a table full of the freshest fruit and sweets. Be sure to order the chocolate ganache with Arabic coffee and/or mint tea. It is a must. At the end, your friends may need a wheelbarrow to transport them out the door but they will have a grin from ear to ear and be planning their next trip to Dubai. Enjoy everyone!

Babel is a perfect spot for both lunch and dinner, outdoor and indoor, family or friends occasion. From the start of the dining experience we were taken care of by Hadi, Mazen and the team, what an amazing and smooth service! We trusted them to arrange our menu based on their taste, and never regretted that! Cold and hot mezze were too good to be true, a true Lebanese taste! For the main course, we enjoyed the freshest fish selection. Make sure to save the space for their special dessert, as the taste is just wow. Thank you again, Babel Team for this wonderful dining experience. We will be back :)

The ambience of this place is quite good however the food is not as great. I struggled with the taste of most items like Hummus, cheese rolls which I usually like almost everywhere.

Walking into Babel, I thought I was going to have Iraqi food but instead found out it’s a Lebanese restaurant and terms themselves as Progressive Lebanese cuisine. The interiors are modern and classy. There’s a huge display of seafood on ice at the ground floor.

Food was good, a bit expensive. The atmosphere is nice, great vibes, but do not sit in the first floor next to the bar, it gets very noisy when the waiters are preparing drinks and fresh juices. The manager checked up on us which was a nice gesture. You should try the cotton candy sweet, or Ghazl al banat. It was yummy!
