Looking for some kunafa after dinner, stumbled across Lebanese Village (which I never visited despite being closer from my place)Its Zomato rating of 2.9 was a turn off initially but the kunafa craving was strong and we didn’t have many options.Much to our surprise (owing to its less than impressive ratings) the staff received us very warmly. Everything seemed to be in accordance with Hygiene & distancing guidelines. We tried the kunafas, a plate of falafel, and some fresh hummus. The portion sizes were impressive (for 2 people) and so was the taste. Falafels were done to perfection – crispier on the outside, cooked well within yet retaining the moisture and not being dry. Equally scrumptious is the hummus Kunafa is good too, not exceptional, but good nonetheless. I walked away with a feeling that the restaurant deserves a better rating than it has. Visiting again for sure.
It’s 5 mins walk from the Al Fahidi Metro station, just next to the Al Ain Mall in Bur Dubai, Mankhool area.Very cozy atmosphere, specially love the outdoor seating during good weather mixed with warm good food and watching the world go by.I like the falafel, shawarma, hummus, moutabbel, a quick bite, good on the pocket and filling too.
Very very very very bad they say they make fresh juice but they dont they keep adding other juices a little fresh and then something chemical imagine i got health issues am not supposed to take chemicals but thry gave me something not frsh atall was totally disappointed
Famous for authentic Lebanese delicious food plus great service.
Situated in the hustle bustle of the busy fahidi street, Lebanese Village is a breath of fresh air..With a pretty impressive outdoor seating overlooking the bur dubai junction this restaurant promises amazing lebanese food.Since it was a pleasant winter afternoon, we decided to take the outdoor seating which is quite good. They have quite a good menu but some lebanese dishes are missing on it.Items tried..Spicy fish - Boneless pieces of hamour fish mixed with a tangy tomato based gravy, this main course is a delight for seafood lovers who want to have a fusion of lebanese and Asian food.Served with garlic sauce, kuboos, pickles, olives and beetroot dipped in vinegar, Its a decent serving for 2 if you also have another side dish lined up.Even though the name says spicy, this dish is quite a mix of tomatoes, fish and a few chopped veggies which are not too much on the spicy side.GRILLED Meat platter - this platter is a mix of chicken kebabs, shish taouk and lamb pieces. Since my aunt didnt prefer lamb, we asked them to make it a chicken only platter which they easily agreed for. This is also served with pickles, french fries and bread.Open Shawarma plate- Well grilled Chunks of sharwarma along with bread, veggies and garlic sauce is a star dish from lebanese Village.Sharwarma - just grab and go for a quick and delicious evening snack.Kunafa - They have 2 filling options, cheese and cream. We opted for a cream Kunafa which was super rich and very delicious. Would love to try the cheese one too.Highlight: The Garlic Sauce is really amazing here!P.S - Its little on the expensive side.
Tastes like animal feces, make sure to do a medical check up after eating their as the restaurant s cleanliness is not guaranteed at all!Besides the food is awful and not eatable!
All tastes fresh.. Except for shawarma as it tasted dry.. The prices are so cheap.. Compared to the quality and the quantity.
Great service, outstanding food (in my opinion best Lebanese in Dubai)
I visited here for dinner and happy to get a varied Lebanese menu in Dubai. the food was fresh and tasty. We also get fresh breads from the kitchen which is an added point. Only thing is that waiting time is a longer compared to other restaurants.
Was in the search of good shawarmas from 3 days, found this place on the corner of the road.. Wanted to give it a try only in a Lebanese Restaurant! The good part is I was hungry and the food was filling. Id not at all say it wasnt good, it was for sure.. but the expectation was there to be more than good!Am sure we can get better Shawarmas too.Still Id recommend to give it a try.
Delicious shawarma & falafel sandwich, huge tabuleh 😋
Please provide good food not just that you have to deliver some kind of food and get the money. The food served was not good at all. Even told not to give pickles it was given in shawarma. The fish was tasteless. Worst food, need to improve the quality. The price is as per standard the food is not.
Good for the price. The staff were verrrrrrrrrrrrrrry helpful. And food variety was good.
I was there yesterday evening for dinner with my family. I was surprised to see a small charge of AED 3 as open food. When asked it was for slice of onion that I ordered and even pickle served was only 3 pcs of raddish .My suggestion is not to over charge the customers
Great fast food. Profesional service.
Good quality of non veg food, mostly grill Lebanese test.
Lebanese food joint closed to Metro station. Tasty food and friendly staff.
Very nice and friendly staff.. The captain order who took our order was so generous and very helpful and extremely informative.. My bad I forgot his name.. Food quality was perfect
Had a bad experience.. food quantity was not worth the price.. the food is highly priced., and also they do not serve the traditional labanese bread it’s the kubbus they serve .. the worst came in towords the end when we had to pay the bill .. they charged AED 7 for a bottle of water..
I have no words. The food is very bad. High prices and small portions of food or less quantity can be justified. But, this place doesnt even have that. We tried the sheesh tawook sandwich, the grilled fish, hummus, the hamburger, and the Kunafa. None of the dishes were worth even half the money.
Might be great in taste but never visited
Ate dinner with some friends who were in town. We got the mixed grill platter. Although the meat was decent, the seafood was absolutely disgusting. It had a bad smell and clearly wasnt fresh. The waiter claimed it was fresh and was surprised to hear otherwise. Please avoid.
Excellent food. Recommended
Nice Lebanese food
Fresh chicken and welcoming waitress .
A very authentic place to have a Lebanese food. A must try if you are in Dubai. Ample choice for vegetarians as well. The non veg platter was amazing, with such soft mutton. It operates an alfresco for dinner session. The place is isnt very expensive, good service and great food.
Kanafa is not freshly made, just fried supermarket kunafa
Nice & Tasty food.
Worst shawarma ever!!!! Rude staff..
Excellent falafel sandwich it’s must try. However the manager needs to change I see it’s amazing place with perfect location and food mind blowing.but heard that the service is extremely poor. The staff is very nice and polite However the manager attitude is worst I mean he is racist and full of attitude. This place will boom cause if it’s perfect location beautiful weather the only catch is if the manager changes to someone more polite and not racist. The food is must try if u are vegetarian the hot falafel sandwich is must try with some pickle. I would prefer to go again as I said the good is perfect but thinking about the attitude of the manager I wouldn’t go again.
Good taste. They also have outdoor seating as well. Indoor seating is basic.
The outside seating is nice and appreciated, they have some big fans that they will direct towards you when hot. I had the mixed grill option which was good and hummus starter. They are quite pushy to get you to order more and more and I ended up with far too much as the dish sizes is quite ample. Certainly one of the better restaurants in the area.
Good. Clean. Nice staffs. Good ambiance. Especially they serve food on open area surrounded with greenery. Price bit high so please check the menu before ordering.
Rates are very high food was just ok
The best Arabic shawarma. Try it once will love it. Currently going under refurbishing might be soon back.
Value for money, very basic restaurant, food taste is ok
Not bad food. Good for a quick bite and on you go to wherever you was heading. Pit stop is what it serves.
Absolutely authentic food... veg and non veg too... ended it with Kunafa...lebanese sweet
The best restaurant ever have had.In general it was an amazing place to dine in. With a huge seating capacity both indoor and outdoor. I would probably visit here most of the times and surely recommends to my friends and officemates.Management and staff i congratulate u all for job well done. Keep it up.
The Hummous and Motabel are world best backed up with their shawarma. Must try.
It was running very successfully but nowadays I barely see customers
This restaurant has wide menu and food is good
Very good Shawarma, and grilled platter.Try their humus with pine.
Food rate high and taste is not upto level
Love this place. The best Shawarma and Kunafa in the entire middle east!!!
Useless and cold and apathetic. Do not waste your money on cheap food. ordered chicken shawarma and they served open platter of chicken with cold khubus. worst experience. humus for 14 dirhams cost u have to buy. what kind of arabic food comes without humus
A good Lebanese food option in but Dubai. A bit pricey for the atmosphere but makes up for it in the food offering. Recommended if in bur Dubai area
Not at all recommended for Indians. Staff is good and Friendly. But food taste is very different that an Indian would want
My wife and I have been to the Lebanese Village Restaurant many times over the years. We know what to expect: great food and reasonable prices. I recommend the Lebanese Village Restaurant to those who appreciate genuine Lebanese cuisine; check them out!
Great taste..reasonable prices..clean
I had gone there for a evening snack. Their hummus beiruti was ok. I felt it was too creamy.
Had a Shawarma and a Fallafel sandwich which was very good. Specially loved the Fallafel.
Quick service..nice falafel..outside seating in winter..
Liked their service and shawarma... tried chicken grill as well, but it was just ok
Great service, great food.Just amazing !!
Great food. Less spicy and good taste.
Bad experience. If you want to save your time and save your money,do not visit. And save your mouth from bad tasting food, which they make you wait for ages.
Had great expectations but was ruined. Food was just OK not so good as recommended. Staff was least bothered to pay attention to any orders.
Quiet little place for good Lebanese cuisine... the Manakish is available only in the evening and the shawarma is good. They have a spicy version too! I guess, it is the result of the Indian and Pakistani community they are surrounded by.The place is neat but the decor is really really old. The place looks like it is sipped in tradition. The staff is cordial and quick in service.
They close down the upper level which good for families lower level the ambiance is not good. Many items on the menu not available
Average food with high pricing. 2 dhs pepsi they are charging 5 dhs
Awesome food, kids love the Falafel and Shawrma out here..
Lovely place ...beautiful open sitting area...and nice food.
Outdoor dining made the experience. They made some of the best lamb chops Ive ever eaten.
Shawarma was amazing
Beautiful place and good prices, around 12 USD Per person
Taste ur authentic arabian foods
Food was ok, they have an outdoor seating so nice during winter time
Good authentic arab food
Great shawarma, but if they have a big sign outside saying 6dhs I only expect to pay 6dhs
Excellant food service excellant as well
Good location. Food is 4/5
I opted to takeaway. Got to room, opened up, chips werent cooked properly. No chilli on the bread as supposed to be, no sauce for the uncooked chips either. The Chicken Tawook was tuff, dry, totally unimpressed. Shwarma had no sauce also bone dry. I get the impression they dont want to take care of the food for certain nationalities, what I got was the worst Lebanese food Ive ever had, and a total lack of care had gone into it, it wasnt cheap and Ill never return to the tired place again. Not good enough, gets one star but thats being generous.
Very good environment and customer friendly. My friend and I had the chicken and prawn briyani. As a Nigerian with the very local tongue, the prawn briyani to me was a disaster. I cannot even compare it to anything, but the Nigerian local dish called Abacha. For someone like me who dont like Abacha, Id give Abacha seven stars and give the prawn briyani two stars just for the effort of making it. The chicken Briyani was a life saver that evening. Wonderful restaurant and affordable too.
First of all, I’m not giving one star because the staff were quite kind and were doing their job well. The problem was that the food was absolutely horrible. Chicken steaks were flavourless and the texture was off, the burgers were just a flappy piece of meat between two pieces of buns, no condiments. Definitely won’t be coming back!
Very nice food with good service
Been coming here for 12 years! Simply the best
Great Lebanese food, quick service, place to eat outdoors is very relaxing
