I love their food. Yet overall strategy of opening on a bottleneck service road, with limited parking and bottleneck cashiers? A better plan would be taking several locations and opening all together or spliting each food segments with own cashier. The amount of people, waiting time and lack of parking will surely make the place loose alot of customers.Anyways is it worth it? 110%!!!

Although it was soft opening but the experience was unforgettable. The menu is really tempting and there are a lot of varieties to choose from. Ranging from bbqs, sandwiches, plates, manakeesh, breakfast items, and juices, this restaurant is bringing a new and delicious taste. I tried the chinese chicken sandwich which is famous beirut street sandwich, Francisco sandwich, lebanese fajita sandwich, cheese manakeesh, lahm b ajeen manakeesh, mexican chicken sandwich, and cocktail juice. The taste is 10/10, service is a bit slow because the restaurant is crowded even before opening! The taste reminds me of Al Hamra street in beirut and We really liked it. This restaurant is competing on another level. It’s one of the best and maybe the only restaurant that’s delivering authentic lebanese sandwiches. 10/10 for taste 10/10 neatness 10:10 quality . Looking forward for more sandwich tasting and hope it will stay with same quality

The Lebanese food scene in Dubai needed a shake, and Barbar is an earthquake!Amazing menu, lots of options, great quality, and extraordinary customer service.I tried the Shawarma and it was very good, a bit overpriced considering the size of the sandwiches, but it definitely isnt the most expensive on Hessa Street. I have been hearing about Barbars Fransisco sandwich for years, and I can now confirm it deserves the reputation. The Lahm bi Ajeen is also a scary contender to what is currently being offered in Dubai, especially with the mandatory lemon squeeze!I will definitely be back to try, and review, other menu items.

I love that they opened in dubai at last, but it’s not what I expected, we ordered shish tawouk grilled sandwich it was beyond normal, the chicken liver sandwich was dry, Lebanese burger was average, fried vegetables sandwich was super oily with little dressing, Fransisco sandwich was similar to lebanon one according to my friend, money wise the prices was dubai budget off course it’s more expensive then lebanon, honestly it’s not worth the hype it’s not something I look forward to go try again even if am Lebanese, Barbar lebanon is way better, if you guys really wanna compete in dubai market you should step up and fix your sandwich’s….am giving it three because of the icecream it was really tasty, plus the effort that a Lebanese brand is trying to expand outside lebanon, hope you fix it to be like lebanon or even better so we support

Great food! Very similar if not identical to the branches in Beirut. As others have mentioned its quite crowded, but its to be expected since it literally just opened and is extremely popular with the Lebanese. Highly recommended if you want a taste of authentic Lebanese street food

It cannot be better. My experience today was exceptional, the real lebanese taste of the sandwiches has finally landed in The UAE and Dubai specifically. Outstanding Fajitas juicy amazing sandwich, one of a kind Philadelphia with the best ingredients, the Francisco that we have been waiting for in Dubai for so many long time is as exactly as they do it in Beirut. Even the crunchy and golden fries were so yummy. They honestly didn’t compromise on quality in any of their products. On top of that The place look and feel is as like as you are sitting in Beirut Hamra street. Very friendly staff, welcoming people and fast service even when the restaurant was full. Keep it up Barbar team.

The Francisco sandwich is top notch but I personally like it with less mayonnaise. The chicken shawarma is amazing you feel like you are in lebanon, the beef shawarma is good as well but not as good as the chicken. The lebanese burger, Philadelphia are good options as well. I personally didn’t like the escalope sandwich I dont think it should have carbon and lettuce, instead coleslaw, fries and ketchup. The avocado is amazingggg the chocola mou was good as well but I prefer it with no cream. Overall very good restaurant but very OVERPRICED for street food!!

If there’s an option for (0) star evaluation , I would chose itI drove over 30 minutes to try it , and I was surprised not taking any orders @ 12:35 though it’s up to 1 AM on mapsA rude & old fashion replay from the host , that they can’t accept orders , coz they need time to close !!Don’t think that they will survive in competitor market

The long awaited Barbar restaurant from Lebanon!! Ok this is my first impression from what we ordered; and I know it is just the opening:Good:- Lahm be Ajeen- Meat shawarmaAverage:- Falafel; too thick and tasteless; below average.- Chicken Shawarma! Nahh! Average! Maybe should order Mexican style (don’t know if they have it)- Shish tawook plate- Service needs improvement. Still chaos but I am sure they will get it.Gave it a 4 just because it is new. Will see if it will improve. But the falafel; you guys need to talk to the chef!!

It could have easily been a 5-star if they had better customer service. The cashier said the waiting time is 45-50 mins. Took my phone number TWICE and my car model and said he will call me when the order is ready. After about 40’ I went in to check only to find that my order has been ready for 10’ or so. When I asked why he didn’t call, he simply said he couldn’t find my number. We ended up having our sandwiches cold. Their taste was great though. Very authentic to barbar in beirut.
