What used to be the best local sushi outlet is now not worth the visit.My last recent experience will indeed be the last considering the lack of quality from the kitchen. Sushi rolls may as well be termed deconstructed the way they fell apart before you could eat them.The pace of food from the kitchen was excruciatingly slow, leaving some of us with food and others without although we all ordered at the same time.This is a sad case of paying higher prices for something we never received, and to top it off, the manager was not even on duty to sort the matter out.I wouldn’t waste time trying Haru unless they do something serious to turn the place around. There are better more affordable sushi restaurants around.

Tempura batter tastes too oily and ruins the flavour of the prawn or vegetable. AC was not working but that is probably the building owners fault. The eel (unagi) was partially cold instead of hot grilled as advertised. And unfortunately the watermelon was cut in the same area as onions which made the watermelon taste like onions! Shame how this place has dropped in quality. Not going back

My Number one place for Sushi in Dubai if u just want a casual time with the family or friends. Its peaceful, super clean and most importantly the food is just tasty and divine. Good menu good quality pricy little bit friendly helpful staff

This place used to be my fav place about 3 years ago, but now... everything changed in a horrendous way.Firstly the glasses of Haru were very dirty, the chicken teriyaki was not well cooked and they are out of stock with half the items we wanted to order (tuna is out of stock since 6 months!). They even couldn’t serve room temp waterMost of the plates are chipped and the Service is quite questionable. Although they apologized for all the shortfalls. I had to get the bottle of water myself, as I wanted to drink something with the food!

We used to love Haru since they opened. But since about one year it’s a disaster. Half of the menu isn’t available, quality is okay but not good, service is lame and forgetful. The last 2 times were really bad, but today it was bellow every standard!!!! Last time for us

The best most reasonably priced sushi in town. you can forgive the run down place coz sushi is more than decent! what I really like is that they are very flexible when you take their bigger platters, you can switch the type.of sushi you want..

This place used to be good, then it went down the drain. Stay away from the sushi. Do not sit inside because they have poor ventilation and you will leave smelling like fried chicken. Just go to the other restaurant next door.

A good place located in Dubai Silicon Oasis.I loved the food and the staff. One of the finest Japanese restaurants Ive been to.The ambience could work up a little more and the seats can be more comfortable.But if you want tasty Japanese cuisine, you have to come here.

Take Age (Veggie Stick Tempura) - fried fresh vegetables. Crispy and tastes really good.Tropical - the combination of avocado, cucumber and mango is really good and pleasing to the mouth.Cream brulee - the best dessert that I had.Service is excellent :)

Waited for more than 1 hour to get food delivered. Food was cold and tempura was of cos soggy. I find their service and quality has declined over time (I always ordered the same items from them). The salmon skin sushi was not crispy and falling apart. The tempura became a mess of cheap vegetable with alot of capsicum and potatoes. Not the same kind of standard and quality that I had known. I am not happy and do not recommend ordering for this restaurant.

Need to add Green Tea and Matcha. To qualify as Japanese restaurant. Good food.

Place is cozy, food is great and their sushi Mondays is the best bang for the buck, All you can eat sushi for 75 dhs, the reason I gave 3 stars is because the buffet is limited to 4 or 5 types. Of rolls only and the service is rather slow

Ordered for delivery recently and a set of maki rolls was smelling like gone bad fish.Other times the food was OK.

They have changed their menu. Teriyaki chicken no longer comes with rice nor are there any vegetables as was previously included. There was no mention of the change in menu when we placed the order. Portion is small and not worth the wait or price. Very disappointing compared to previous experience at the same restaurant. Customer service needs to be addressed when receiving poor feedback by telephone.

I live here half year and always walking around the shopping center but l dont know here,its a good place,food is nice,and you can sit outside enjoy,silent,not crowded,but the drinks is very expensive.

I love Japanese food specifically Ramen and Yakiniku /Gyudon but unfortunately they dont serve any in Haru so ordered the next best thing I can find in their menu.Im frugal and thanks to something called an Entertainer Voucher I was able to dine here, ordered a Chicken Rice Bowl and Beef Udon both are filling but doesnt have that distinctive Japanese taste.The reason for this is the beef that they used, the beef used in most Asian dishes Ive had be it Japanese or Korean are thin slices of fatty meat that basically melts in your mouth, the one used here are thick and of steak texture so it doesnt match well with the udon and spices.As for the Chicken Rice Bowl, it was fine but nothing to write home about. I never got the chance to try their sushi, having it part of the name of the restaurant probably means its better than the rest of their menu.Conclusion:If you are in the UAE, theres very few options available for affordable Japanes food so if you are really craving for one, then grab a bite here just to sate your craving but dont expect too much.
