This was my first visit it was really nice and the best Italian joint I have been to.This was the Dubai Mall branch that I visited.I Had ordered the Salmon Carbonara & Chicken Alfredo.The environment was amazing and the staff was very welcoming.Waiting time was 20 mins as being a weekend it was a bit crowded and had to wait for sometime.The taste of the food was good and it the service was quick as well.Will surely visit again soon :)

I dont exaggerate when I say this Vapiano serves the best pizza I ever tasted, and I tested a LOT. They have a unique ordering system (kind of like a bar?). Prices are reasonable and the quantities are okay. I also had the Spaghetti Bolognese, and that was quite good, too!9/10

One of the worst Italian restaurantItalian, Seriously??-There pizza was worst-Pasta was good, but the chef who made pasta was too rude and arrogant.They had the worst service ever.Local cafeteria waiters are 10x better than them.I ordered water, and got it without a glass or straw, and when I got a glass this is what I got (picture attached).(They taught that I would raise a glass bottle of 500ml to drink everytime I needed to)Hidden charges in the bill. You just ask them to just make a pasta and they will add hidden Charges of:- Extra cheese- Extra brocoli- Extra Veggiesplease dont waste your money at this restaurantI paid 188 dirhams for 4 people and regret it.

Great food for nice price, I would recommend salmon carbonara. The price for 2 people is around 160 with garlic bread as a starter 2 main pasta dishes and 1 ice tea each.

They took our order very slow, although the restaurant was empty. The drinks came slow too. The waiters were fighting between them loudly. Pizza and pasta were average. My girlfriends food came long after my food (not in the same time).We were not greeted when we left (you can see this in other reviews as well). The surrounding place is too beautiful to eat here, avoid it.

My husband insisted on going to Vapiano in Dubai Mall as he always loved it in Ukraine during his business trips. He always said that it’s the best pizza ever and he is indeed a very picky eater as he is baker and chef himself. We also visited the one on Prague and was great. Both ( Ukraine & Prague ) are kind of self service concept with your own tray, yet, the quality of food and hospitality was amazing.Dubai Mall Vapiano was beyond disappointing, the waiter ( Asian ) who welcomed us handed 1 menu to me ( we were group of 3 ) and said that we can order, walked away and didn’t explain anything just left us standing at the counter. My husband was explaining to us what to do. When we sat outside, order was taken, food was nothing special, I was offered Parmesan with my spaghetti which was just dumped on top in access ( would prefer less ), pasta was over cooked and very sticky, pizza was average. No follow up at all, waiter didn’t show any hospitality skills, we forgot to order drinks and he never offered anything else. When bill came he was repeating the amount loudly 3 times just to solicit the tip, which wasn’t deserved at all, looking at us before entering it into the machine, very unprofessional and almost rude behavior. Not greeted good bye nor acknowledged once we paid. Overall customer service was sadly non existing. We will not recommend nor visit again.

Fantastic pasta. Ive tried them here and in Switzerland, quality was almost if not exactly the same.+++ For several vegetarian options! Ask for oregano for an even better flavor!

Ive been to Vapiano in several countries and nearly all Vapianos in London, this was not all that.- Pasta cooking team were a bit aggressive- Wait time was 20mins (was very quite mind you)- Pasta sauce was sour, not sure if the tomato sauce was cooked properly.- Managers walk around clueless and no acknowledgement of their clients.Only helpful people were the waiters walking around, very polite and attentive.Sorry but Im speaking as a Vapiano customer all over and my experience here.

2 stars for kindness of staffDont expect to hv real authentic Italian food there.1- Carbonara was a crime... they do it with CREAM and chef did not know how to make a proper carbonara.2- pizza dough was Ok but salsa was blend n tasteless, pizza baked in electric oven, pepperoni looked like beef mortadella, so technically lack of taste n flavour.3- Caesar salad with chicken was Ok, tiny small portion of pan fried chicken, pretty sure grana padano cheese used instead of parmesan cheese(cheapest version of parmesan)Finally iv been once, Vapiano ticked staff were very kind n sweet,but I wont do it again for sure.

I asked best selling pasta. I had a huge portion of pasta and a few pis of chicken. When I finally found it(chicken) was not good because it was very dry and overcook and small like its not fresh. The staff is unfriendly. They asked about feedback and didnt even offer any discount. Not recommended at all.

Didnt like the service style. They have a card system and you need to go to the respected counter and place your order yourself. Pretty chaotic and I dont see why this method is better than the traditional method. Had to grab our own cutlery too. Felt more like a food court. Service was also slow, and food average.

One word - Amazing!!!!

The food is very tasty and the portions are good as well. We used entertainer but the only weirdest part was they only let us use one voucher even tough we were two adults and a kid. We had informed them in the beginning that we will use the entertainer but they did not tell us that only one can be used.

It is on the way to Burj Khalifa at the top, there is terrace outside which has service. Has the view on the fountains. The menu is typical pasta, risotto or pizza, they do have kids options or salad and few appetisers. The food was okay but not sure if pasta is fresh here, comparing to Europe where the pasta is displayed, the self service indoor only the outdoor they will take orders. Enjoy

Very friendly staff, one of the best lasagna I had, amazing view. Great for a casual lunch, love the fact that everything is cooked in front of you.

Restaurant has lost its glamour; food is average. Hygiene is not good. The kitchen garbage was handled twice through the middle of the restaurant while customers are eating.

Like the concept : several stations of pizzas pasta or salad.You choose a meal from the menu, you can add remove toppings and they prepare it in front of you.I tried the Caesar salad it was good around 40 aed!Coffee is also good there !

Average place, good for pasta. Its like a fast food but for pasta. The use fine products, mostly of them organic. Staff is well trained. But most of the process is self service. Desserts are hot that good. Coffee is well done almost with barista quality...

Very disappointed with the service. Were going to put the Covid at fault again.We have to ask for glasses for our drink order that will arrive once it is almost finished. On the terrace you are provided forks and metal knife while inside they are plastic.Good thing the pizzas are good.

Visited Vapiano yesterday. Interior good, view on fountains. Food is below average, felt like fast food. We ordered pastas, both with seafood and tomato sauce. The portion came big, pasta was boiled al dente which is great. The sauce was too much, pasta was swimming in the sauce. Sauce itself was so sour, I didnt understand if they used canned tomatoes. Shrimps were tasting great. But it didnt taste as a proper pasta to me. I felt really stuffed and heavy.The next day didnt feel good, may be Im too sensitive to some of the ingredients they used in the sauce.I wouldnt recommend pastas in Vapiano as price is too high for the taste you get.

They used to be better, the chicken in the pastas were so hard that you hardly can eat it. Hope they could fix this and get back to their golden days.

Never knew that this restaurant exists in Sharjah as well. I tried this restaurant in UK for the first time and was very much interested in the way we order the food and drinks with electronic cards presented at each designated corner. The taste is really nice and was not less than that of UK Vapiano. Awesome!

A good place to eat Italian food while you are in Dubai Mall. It is a kind of a self service Resturant and it could be nice to watch while they cook your food. At the same time it could be overwhelming when the restaurant is busy as it could be difficult to get the simplest thing like a fork or a piece of tissue.They have indoor and outdoor seating so you can enjoy the Dubai Fountain and Burj Khalifa viewWhen it comes to food I like the pizza more than their pasta. The pizza is made with quality cheese as well as the dough.

I saw the manger of the restaurant the one who is wears black I believe he is the manger !! walking around and treating the employees in very rude way!making very uncomfortable vibes...I love vapiano and usually it’s a happy place with very good food ... you must respect your employees and care more about us as customers! who come to have nice meal not wanting to feel bad about how you act as manger

I am just outside the restaurant , I ordered a tagliatelle pasta while the chef heard penne , instead of changing the plate the manager , which I have never seen in my life , sent me a waiter so that I go to him (customer asked to go meet the manager) and he said sir u said Penne !!!! I asked him why would I do that he said I don’t know but u said penne and I am changing it anyway …. In years of bad service that is the worst , and the worst part is that it comes from the manager

My best choice for Italian food

Feel virtuous by buying a small soda and taking small sips from a small glass. Food is fresh and salads large, herbs grow in pots on the table. Always up to standard.

My fiance insisted on going to go Vapiano because she always had a great experience in Vienna. The view its very good but the good things stopped there.Both of us had pasta, Bolognese and Reef N Beef and the best way to describe the food is that is the worse food I experienced in Dubai and Im living here for the last 5 yrs(including the 5dhs shawarma). Still No°2 overall on my worse food experience.The waiters, managers coudnt care less that we had just one bite each. Coca Cola was cold and good tho .Overall if I would have to chew some cardbord or to eat their pasta wouldnt make a difference, same taste.We looked around and surprisingly it was very common for the plates to return full in the kitchen.I would recommend you to bring someone that you hate the most in your life here. If you hate them, you want them to die or something, bring them here, it would be the worst experience guaranteed.If you want to change something, change everything regarding to your personeel, chef, waiter, manager. They have 0 interest/passion.

Last time I was eating pasta carbonara and pizza Margarita... pasta not bad but pizza was very bad they not using fresh mozzarella they using very cheap shredded mozzarella after 2 bite I give them back and explain them the pizza isn’t same like before!!!!They said they not using same mozzarella like before.....I hope Vapiano will make progress on this point regarding pizza!Thank you

Wife ordered pizza Diablo without onions, however they cooked it with onions (nevermind not a big issue). I have ordered Lasagna and it was was awful, it had a pirculuar smell (assumed that sauce had a special aroma). While I was driving back to hotel, my stomach started to feel funky, and i was still feeling taste of the strange aroma in my mouth... once I have arrived to room, I could not keep it anymore and I heaved heavily🤢🤮🤮🤮...I really love vapiano and concept of the restaurant, however Vapiano in Dubai Mall dropped the ball...May be the chief did not feel well and did not check the freshness of the ingredients, who knows... however, evening was ruined... thank you Vapiano Dubai Mall

There is only one pasta kitchen operating and all the other three pasta kitchens are shut because the operator is being cheap with his operations and that would lead to the Quality of the food down the line, not to mention the service of number of waiters over takes the number of chefs in the kitchen

Visited the Dubai mall branch for the first time and had such a bad experience. Went in for my favorite salad but usually in media city - very simple, spinach strawberries and goats cheese (delicious) however today they did not have goats cheese and the managers response was sorry I don’t make goats cheese and it’s not my fault that the central kitchen did not send it sorry! I was disgusted and left immediately.

This place is delicious. Although he has a lack of options for kids meals, thus the 4 stars and not 5. Other than that, for italian food, its marvellous
