It was one of the best Italian foods I have had in Dubai so far.The drinks were very refreshing and tasty as well. This place is an absolute triumph of an Italian restaurant - every single details is thought of, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is intimate without feeling crowded.Food wise, the menu is kept to the essentials - pasta, pizza and a few main courses - but what they do, they do to perfection.If you pay them a visit - ask for the veal (pictured), the best Ive had. Excellent Italian restaurant. The food reminded me of Venice. Great place with nice atmosphere. Lovely coffee and the tiramisu is one of the best. The burrata cheese is simple and the peeled cherry tomatoes make it extra special.

I have no words to describe my experience in The Artisan, except that if you are looking for an Authentic Italian Cuisine in Dubai, this must be the place.

I would highly recommend this restaurant, friendly staff, wonderful cuisine, good wine list and bar, cosy atmosphere.

The food was as you would expect with a Michelin One Star rating. each course was exquisite and beautifully presented and served.The best pizza in dubai yet, very light dough, great and unique pizza toppings, the other food was good not exceptional, but definitely pricing is steep.

The only thing left from the previous The Artisan by Enoteca Pinchiorri is the name. Food is okay but it is nowhere close to the original Italian restaurant. It has nice presentation but lacks the taste. Services professional and friendly. Ambience is elegant and relaxing. Dubai lost another excellent Italian restaurant probably because of the bad choice of location.

I love a good Italian meal and especially after my trip to Italy I crave the cuisine more then ever. I have been a fan of The Artisan since it’s first branch in Burj Damam building but their recent new location is not bad either.It’s located in Waldorf Astoria in DIFC and I was quite impressed by the decor and the food. Great new Italian place in the Waldolf. Unlike many of the DIFC restaurants this one is cozy and feels like a proper Italian... the food is to match with very well cooked delicious meals.. the pizzas are amazing, especially the truffle one... everything is very fresh you can taste it.... highly recommended but becareful on the pricing... super expensive.

Overall excellent. They had somehow missed placing our reservation at a table so although the booking was made, we didnt have a table. We waited at the bar and to their credit they made it work, and found a way to get our large party seated within 30 mins or so. After we were seated the experience was excellent. Service was top notch. Giovanni in particular took care of us. The food was superb. For appetizers we had the burrata of course, calamari, beetroot carpaccio, and a selection of bruschette.We had a wide selection of mains almost all were fantastic.I take one star away because they allowed smoking at the bar... This is 2021 you still allow smoking inside? And who smokes cigarettes anymore anyway?Make a reservation. Overall excellent highly recommended.

The stereotype of mainstream Italian cuisine being pizzas and pastas in the mind of occasional restaurantgoers is being challenged by Michelin star chefs and savvy foodies who travel the world in a search for exclusivity. Imagine my astonishment when I discovered a fantastic place with authentic and experimental dishes right downtown.The Artisan restaurant isn’t easy to find. Hidden away from the beaten track of the DIFC fancy dining, experience it’s located in Daman Tower, ten minutes walk from the stock exchange or a few minutes drive from Dubai Mall. If not for my friend’s recommendation, I would never ever find my way to this place. First pleasant surprise was free valet or self-parking with plenty of spots available.A lift took me to the next level above retail, then a short walk through the door to the open space and there I was. The entrances, surrounded by a lush garden, lead into an open dining area accented with art and vintage looking mirrors. Dimmed lights contributed to a rather intimate atmosphere supported by home-like white tablecloths and wooden feel to the whole design. The greeting on arrival was short but very warm resulting in me being escorted to my table in a matter of seconds.Once seated, a very knowledgeable Evgeni was ready to guide me through the menu and suggest a suitable aperitivo.“You must try a few of our appetisers and mains inspired by the sun of Tuscany and Florentine living,” he declared with a charming smile. “Our Milan-born chef Luca has spent so much time in Florence that he calls it home.” Evgeni’s voice sounded so convincing and reassuring that we moved away from the initial selection towards the dishes he recommended. “Please do order the main even if you are for the first time here and intend to share,” he added. “Our chef will blow you away.” I nodded in acceptance.I think we were lucky. Going out on Sunday nights delivers an unexpected advantage. Being a quiet night for hoteliers and restaurateurs in the Middle East we benefited from extra attention given by the team. Our bartender at the Artisan while chatting to me poured a huge serving of Stolichnaya into my mocktail without realizing it. Needless to say I was very very happy.What followed was the real food magic. Chef Luca locked away in the kitchen (I didn’t get a chance for a quick chat) served one amazing dish after another. My feast started by crunchy thin toasts of artisanal house baked bread and smoothest pate. Tuna tartar based on rapidly seared an exceptional cut of this tricky fish accompanied by funnel puree and a few secret ingredients was definitely my favourite. Shrimp tartar served with the sweetest creamy burrata and, surprise, deep fried fresh capers, was a combination I never tasted before. I’m not going to describe any of the mains, as you need to book a table and experience this place yourself.My words won’t do justice to chef Luca’s passionate creations.

The outstanding Artisan is an offshoot of three-Michelin-star Enoteca Pinchiorri in Florence and it shows in the food: the cup of cremino (layered chocolate mousse) with salted crumble and hazelnut ice cream is a dream! Portions are generous, the team are polite and friendly and the pasta is world-class. But seriously, that cremino... oh gosh. No wonder this is Massimo Bottura’s favourite Dubai restaurant. The greatest slice of pizza I have ever had. The crust is cooked to perfection and the thickness of the crust is not thin but not super thick either. On top of that was amazing tomato sauce with basil, olive oil and garlic.

Absolutely love the place. The pizzas are amazing (margarita and truffle). The burrata and Rapa Rosss(beetroot) are lovely. For mains try the agnolotti stuffed with pumpkin. Tiramisu and Miele (sponge cake with lavender panna cotta and honey foam)

I tried this restaurant with high expectations and I wasnt disappointed at all. The food is divine, every dish has an incredible taste, each of them tells a story. The ingredients are out if this world and are cooked in a superb way. Every dish was amazing, but please dont miss the octopus and the slow cooked guancia. Also the dessert Miele is a must try, I totally loved it. I really enjoyed the dinner here, also the service was just perfect, professional and friendly at the same time. So far my favourite Italian restaurant in Dubai, and I totally recommend a visit.

If i could leave more stars i would.One of the best restaurant i had the pleasure to eat in Dubai - the products are beautiful and the taste of each meal a delish !!I had the starter burrata - OMG ! the tomatoes were peeled, allowing the sweetness of the fruit to come out and explode in your mouth... and the burrata itself ... OMG .The place is cosy and the service is amazingly attentive to details - to the glass / cutleries placement at few cm away from the plates ... ive only seen this in true high end restaurant in Europe. The expectation / recommendation of your meal will be spot on.Definitely a place to go for a date, business meeting and def a good place for muslim family as you dont have loud and barely clothes clientele. loli would def go again eyes closed.Thanks again dear Artisans Team for a beautiful evening.

The food here is exquisite. Very well presented, and beautifully made. The restaurant ambiance is quaint, and comfortable even in day light, although I can imagine the evening would suit better. The service needs vast improvement. For brunch, it took 30 minutes before our table had managed to order and receive our first round of drinks. The speed did improve as the brunch went on, and the waiting staff were pleasant and well meaning, but its not the standard of a fine dining DIFC restaurant.

I’m extremely disappointed with this restaurant. I live in DIFC less than 5 min away from the restaurant. I received my order 45 min later than the confirmed timing. The pizza arrived cold and soggy which is not the standard I would expect from this restaurant.

Incredible restaurant! I went here with a few friends for the first time. We had heard a lot about The Artisan from multiple people here in Dubai, it is a place that we had to check out. We all appreciate a good meal and dining out 2/3 time in the week we get the chance to visit the good and bad !. We were so pleasantly welcomed by a charming Italian and immediately we felt at home or maybe back in Venice where we had visited a week before! The service was impeccable and we were simply taken care of throughout the evening. We drank and ate so much food. The food was delicious and it all came out in a very timely manner. At the end, we got dessert and again, we were really impressed. Everything about this place feels extremely inviting. Things you need to try are the green risotto burrata, Pizza truffle and my favorite was the beef cheek!!!!And not to forget the fabulous wine list :-) Go try it out for yourself !

Definitely the best Italian restaurant in Dubai

EPIC.Great food, the ambiance is really nice and the staff are friendly. Fresh tasty bread, dessert was delicious. Portions are a bit small. Price comparable to similar places. Expect to pay 600 for 2 persons starter, main and dessert without alcohol.

We had dinner with my sister and friends at The Artisan for the first time, and we were surprised of the high quality of the food, as well as the presentation of the dishes. We decided to share our dishes to try everything, and there was nothing that left us disappointed. Gnocchi, Tagliolini and absolute best Agnolotti with Zucca. Highly recommend dining there.

Its hard to find such good Italian food in Italy. Great restaurant, service is very good and cocktails are unique and mostly wine based. But be prepared to pay for the quality.

Ambiance is great, maybe it was one of those slow nights. Staff are firnedly and engaging. Food is OK not as expected though.

The cloud of cigarette smoke in the dining area ruined the taste of what was possibly a great meal. Several people in my group were uncomfortable and coughing due to all the smoke wafting in from the bar area. Avoid this until they either ban smoking in the bar section or invest in much, much better ventilation for the dining area.

Best Restaurant visit in Dubai so far. The food was amazing! I would recommend the Agnoletti stuffed with pumpkin: It was a creamy heaven for my tastebuds. The components harmonized on a perfect level; really balanced. My companion was overly happy with his slow cooked sea brass in salt coat that melted soft in your mouth. The waiters have great knowledge and are always keen to help. Ill definitely come again

I wish I didn’t because the food was beyond disappointing.The venue itself is alright for fine dining, nothing fancy but rather a borderline pass for fine dining. There a bunch of seats strangely placed along the walls that are couches and you sit beside your guest rather than opposite of them. The furniture and decor were fine, I was thinking the food was going to be great.I tried a few items that were considered signature – slow cooked octopus, buratta with roasted tomatoe, fried calamari, lentil soup with black truffle, and I am sad to say that they were all disappointing.Slow cooked octopus – virgin oil, green beans, olives, potatoes – this combination doesn’t work, not enough of anything to give it any substantial flavour.Buratta with roasted Tomato – the buratta itself is ok, but ingredients are too basic to make this dish shine.Fried calamari – way too much batter, the calamari was dry, flavours were dull.Lentil soup with black truffle – again another basic dish, it was so basic that even the truffle couldn’t help it.I had a few more dishes but they are not worth my time to talk about anymore. The quality is disappointing for an Italian restaurant and doesn’t belong in DIFC.

Went there as they were celebrating a three Michelin chef. Ok, had octopus, soup, and salmon tartar for starters. The soup was ok, tartar Lacked luster and the octopus was a disaster. The worst I have ever tasted. Over salted and tasted like burnt butter. The waiter and others that came to the table still claim it is a best seller and this is how it should taste. Like adding more crap to the crapy dish. Had the t bone for main and that was another major disappointment. Chewy with no flavor to say the least. The lowest grade out there ever. Not to mention, wine by the glass did match the quality of food....meal, time and money wasted
