I got the recommendation from my dear friend Jimmy! And so took my wife and kids. We all LOVED the food,. The burrata salad was convenient so it is not a must try. However, we strongly recommend you to try the pizza and the pasta! 🤩we are definitely coming back to this resturant! ✨

The staff was helpful. Food was good and fresh. The carbonara spaghetti was delivious. Truly Italian food. Well try the pizza next time.

Amazing food! Stumbled on it by chance and it was so worth it. We tried the carbonara and margherita pizza, delicious! And the pinacolada was very good as well

Lovely pizzeria in a lovely new part of Dubai called One Central. Easy parking. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. In the shade in the mornings for a perfect al fresco coffee.

Pizza was perfect, pasta was perfect, place is open and in the middle of skyscrapers when you sit there feels so good. Our food came very late like 1 hour they had a system problem that time. Owner was there and he was very kind to us.

As big foodies and massive fans of Italian food, my sister and I had to try This new place in town MATEOS Pizzeria...- I cant really tell whether we fell in love at first with the authenticity of the design or the smell of the pizza that strikes you in a way that all you could think of is that I want a pizza right here right now.- We ordered the Chefs special Pizza and the cheese Calzone.. the pizza crust was divine, all the produce were fresh & tasty. The Calzone was another story; the dough... the mix of cheeses in the stuffing... the tomato sauce.. I genuinely cant describe the taste or what we felt in words.. I would say we were humming happily all the time..- Price wise, the pizzas are VERY reasonably priced, it wouldnt break the bank at all.. so one can eat and enjoy :)- Oh forgot to tell you about the Chef & the staff! Even with the mask on you could still see Chef Mateo and his team happy to see people around and even happier when they see the smile on the customers faces.Thank you Chef Mateo & the team. We will be back for sure!!!!

Excellent pizza. It is crusty and well cooked. Right amount of topping so it always stay hard. Very nice Italian mineral water not the usual Sanpellegrino. Looking forward to have also beer.

Drinks arrived 40 minutes after the order, incomplete and wrong. One of three pizzas arrived at the same time too. More than 90 minutes later other two pizza still weren’t served. Kitchen staff works without masks and the owner goes in the kitchen, without the mask as well, yelling at the staff. Absolutely unbelievable. Multiple tables next to us also left because they didn’t get the order and were waiting for too long. When we asked the barista to put on the mask while serving, his answer was ‘I’m vaccinated’. Clearly doesn’t know how a vaccine works.To the management: 1. If you can’t handle many customers, don’t put so many seats. 2. If you want to make it work with three staff members for 40+ guests, train your team to make sure they can do it. Yelling at people doesn’t make them more productive, training does. 3. If making a single pizza takes you 40 minutes, provide some bread on the table.

Worst experience at a restaurant. 1. Staff member serving food without a mask. 2. Owner walking around customers/ in and out of the kitchen without a mask. Seen him a few times checking dishes without it. 3. It took them 90 mins to serve our drinks which they got wrong 4 times. 4. We asked for three pizzas, we got one pizza after 45 mins. 5. Owner constantly screaming at his staff. We sat there watching a number of customers getting frustrated with the horrible service. I understand that they recently opened. However, I have been to a number of restaurants at their soft opening launch and have not received a bad service like this before by any of them. Oh and disappointing quality of food and coffee. They even put sugar in my americano. And how is acceptable to walk around without a mask serving people? Even if you’re vaccinated, follow the guidelines of DHA and other health organizations.
