Italian food lovers…i have discovered a hidden gem in Dubai.Cozy atmosphere and classy location based in the Dubai Mall Extension. Food is prepared using traditional recipes passed down from many generations and finally brought to you by Il Forno, and served by their friendly staff.You can taste the authentic Italian flavors in every bite. ‘Buono’ is what i describe their food as, which a word in Italian used to describe delicious food. Every item i had ordered rightly deserves a 5 star rating.

Visit Italy without leaving UAE and that’s how I felt while savouring true Italian flavours at this place in the Zabeel extension at Dubai Mall!!The outlet is located in the food court and is small with a couple of tables within it, an open kitchen format and a majestic photo of the Leaning Tower of Pisa at one end. There is more seating in the food court area.We started off with Arancini Ai Formagggi, the cheesiest rice balls filled with 3 types of cheese and deep fried to perfection. 10 on 10 for this!! Highly recommended!!Mains were Spaghetti with Meatballs, simple and flavorful, and Chicken BBQ Pizza. The portion sizes were filling and shareable.For dessert, we had Blueberry Cheesecake and Chocolate Mousse. The flavours were good and chocolate mousse definitely satiates the diehard chocolate lover in you.Drinks were Strawberry Mojito. Though it was very sweet, I loved it.

Although if I’m cooking (usually sans recipe), it probably won’t taste very good. That said, I’m always on the hunt for a new Italian restaurant.In the new Zabeel section of @thedubaimall is @illfornouae a pizzeria tucked away in their food court area. Its a small outlet with a nod to staple Italian interiors and an open glass kitchen boasting a proper fired oven.I had the Arancini Ai Formaggi (Dh 29) rice balls stuffed with mozzarella cheese, buffalo mozzarella, Parmesan cheese and then deep-fried. It explodes the moment your fork gets anywhere near it and inside is as gooey and juicy as could possibly be – packed crisp with flavour.The Ai Funghi Tartufo pizza (Dh 59) was delicious and earthy with truffle oil although there was a tad overpowering taste of mushrooms on there. If youre a fan of mushrooms then this is your go-to.Di Pollo Al Gorgonzola pizza (Dh 47) has incredible roasted chicken, caramelized onion with balsamic vinegar and Italian gorgonzola cheese. It is not very crispy and has the all-important chew one wants from a good pizza.Their lasagna with beef bolognese (Dh 41) is a great pasta dish to try. It has a homemade pasta feel, baked perfectly with a generous helping of cheese. Incredibly indulgent.The Tiramisu (Dh23) to end the meal was highly OK. It wasnt very fresh and still had some frozen parts.A good measure of a good Italian restaurant is that you should be easily able to eat there and not feel like youre going to keel over, and I was able to wolf these substantial servings down with ease. I will definitely be going back to Il Forno soon.

I was wanting to try pizza beyond the regular place and I headed to Here while I was in Dubai mall with my best friend.The food was really delicious and value for money. We ordered Aranchini, Ravioli Di funghi, Chicken Barbecue and I must say we had enough food for two days between two of us.The dessert we ordered was Tiramisu and the slice was enough for four.The place was quiet and nice for family dinner since it is in Zabeel side of the place . Loved the place for a perfect pizza evening :)

Pizza is the besttt and salad from their new menu was so fresh and rich.. Creative ambiance and customizable home made touch. highly recommend their Mixed Berri Juice and Blueberry cake (so fresh and melting in mouth).. I must say their food is exceptionally good as always.They have a huge menu, everything for everyone. Each dish that I tasted was rich in flavor, be it starter, main course or the dessert. Restaurant which is located in the food court area of dubai mall zaleel extension. The menu was giant with lots of options and dedicated kid’s menu too. The staff took the order very courteously. The portions were huge and the food was really tasty. Personally felt their pizzas and pastas are the best . Overall great food with good value for money 💰.

Delicious food, the pastaa (Fettuccine Alfredo) was so good. 4 cheese pizza is a must try. Wings and Salad for appetizer was so good. Resturant serves fresh and delicious food. Staff was attentive and courteous. Overall excellent experience.

Visited Il forno with my family as we were craving authentic Italian food and boy it was the best decision.Loved the ambience of the restaurant place with a large poster of Leaning tower of Pisa and open kitchen on the side.We were served complimentary bread with pesto sauce and tomato sauce. Pesto sauce was delish.We ordered potato wedges which were served piping hot. Orange juice was freshly squeezed.Then we ordered Fettuccine Alfredo which was cooked to perfection the al dente pasta and the white sauce with mushrooms oozing with flavors it was delicious.Then we ordered Polo Chicken pizza which was served thin crust with red sauce, chicken pieces and mozzarella cheese. Flavors bang on. The cheese was less to my liking but I have no complaints as it tasted delicious.We also had chicken lasagna which hands down was the best that I ever had the saucy cheesy layers with chicken mince oh my goodness I just can’t explain the taste you just have to try this.Finally we rounded off with their bestseller Tiramisu which was coffee biscuits layered between cream and ice cream. Trust me my family said this is the best that they had.The portions are so huge and priced reasonably.Will definitely visit them again to try their Risotto and new seafood menu 😍

What I absolutely love is good Italian food. This joint is a must visit , if like me you want good Italian food. The portions are very good, so be mindful when ordering. We ordered the pepperoni pizza , ravioli and the lasagna for main course. What I loved the most was the ravioli and my son ate the pizza and loved it , I got to sneak a taste and the pizza was so good. Thin beautifully cooked crust with melted cheese and smoky pepperoni… the ravioli was a mix of white and red sauce and stuffed with cheese. Thin slices of chicken accompanied the dish and it was creamy and so good . The lasagna was so soft, creamy and perfect. A big bowl full of creamy , saucy,Meaty goodness.What ended this amazing dinner was the piece de résistance - the tiramisu. The best I’ve had in dubai. The flavors bursting with coffee ( just the right amount), the creamy mascarpone , all layered beautifully. Brilliant and authentic place for all the Italian food lovers. Once getting into the place , it just feels like you are in Italy. From their mojitohs to pizzas and desserts! We tried their veg panini (caprese) which I truly loved it! Also their pizza sizes are way better than I have had anywhere with their reasonable prices! I visited this mall for the first time and the restaurant was among the 2nd in the food court , next to the lift. Very close also and not too much to walk. The best part was the desserts , too good! They have so many varieties in sea food too and also lots of new additions that they have introduced in their new menu. At least I do!.Visited @ilfornouae and love the Italian food they served with a smile on their face and we tried.*Felittini Di Polo* finger licking chicken strip with crispy coating with a very unique flavour served with the garlic mayo sauce which complimented with it so well..*Ai Frutti Di Mare* which was a pizza and we chose a sea food topping which includes shrimps and calamari and mushrooms and it was so delicious the quantity was generous too..*Bistecca Al Funghi* it was a perfect sizzling beef staek full of flavor served with mushrooms sauce which was so flavourful and on sides I chose sauted veggies and fries I loved the quality of beef and it was cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of flavors..*Strawberry Mojito* it was a much needed chiller drink with fresh strawberry, mint and lemon chunks so refreshing and yummy..*Blueberry Cheesecake* a perfect dinner isnt complete without a perfect desert and it was a perfect cheesecake not so sweet and the blueberry sauce was irresistible..I am so glad I tried @ilfornouae and cant wait to try more from their menu on my next visit. Ive been a big big fan of authentic Italian Food and honestly, I loved IL FORNO for this reason. They have one of the best Food and the ambiance will take you to Italy.This time I celebrated my birthday at IL FORNO. They also served me a delicious Tiramisu with a Happy Birthday 🎂 wish and and song, too. The juice was fresh squeezed while the Mojito was refreshing.  The starters were really good. Restaurant is located at Zabeel Food court. Whats unique is they have sitting inside and dine in or choose the option to dine from the food court area. The interior details Italiano classic look and color combination of red and green speaking out loud. Love the concept of live kitchen which were covered with glass keeping it all intact.Started off with Fresh Juices. Mango and Watermelon. Really fresh, sweet and yummy. No alternatives were added whatsoever. Next in Appetisers were the old friend Chicken Wings. These were Juicy and spicy. Baked fried chicken served with Ranch sauce. These chickens were tender in bite. Another appetiser were the Monte Cristo Pizza Roll. A very filling Pizza roll with 2 types of Cheese Mozzarella and Cheddar, tomato sauce, mushroom, black olives, chicken, pepperoni and Potato. Thats whole of Italy ingredients right Im there.For the mains had Fettuccine Con Gamberetti. Fettuccine in fresh tomato sauce, fresh tomatoes, olive oil and Shrimp. Another italiano goodness is how fresh the tomatoes are the sauce or the puree will delve in. The Fettuccine cooked in perfection that every fork full it was bubbly and dripping in. Shrimp was the icing. Next in went in for their new menu speciality Shawarma Pizza. Oh God its just biting to Shawarma carbon copy. The topping were exactly the same Shawarma filling of pickles, onions, sumac, taking sauce, cheese, baked tomatoes and 7 spices marinated beef. Nailed it Nailed it Nailed it 😊😊.Desserts went for Creme Brulee. This is a Dreamy Heaven for all Dairy lovers. The custard base was creamilicious and soft like pudding. For the sugar part they used maple syrup which symphonize the twist. This Creme brulee would definitely be a hit with Kids.Every ingredients used were fresh and Au Naturale. No alternatives keeping it authenticity. Social Distancing maintained.

Located in the magnanimous Zabeel extension of Dubai Mall, Il Forno is an Italian restaurant with beautiful setting and minimalistic decor. The open kitchen gives you a look into your food and other preps that are going on at all times which is quite exciting to look at. We started our meal with their in-house bread and Tomato dip, along with Mozzarella Caroza and Monte Cresto ( Pizza Rolls) now heres something you need to know about Il Forno- Their quantity is huge! The moment I saw the Monte Cresto, my first thought was We cannot finish this and thats exactly what happened & we had to get it packed. Next in mai course we ordered Ravioli Di Fungi which is stuffed pasta with mixed sauce and mushrooms & Fettuccine Cajun Alfredo a white sauce pasta with sun dried tomatoes and grilled chicken. Both the pastas were outstanding. For dessert we had to go with a classic Tiramisu and Strawberry cheesecake, OMG! The tiramisu and the cheesecake both were great but Im going to be biased towards the Tiramisu.This place is worth your money given the quantity and quality plus the variety they offer.

So had this amazing experience at Il Forno last night, the restaurant is located in Dubai Mall Zabeel, very neat clean restaurant, its an Italian cuisine. Every bite reminded me of my trip to Italy. I tried thr pizza pollo, monte cristo pizza roll, beef pepper steak, pasta farfelle ei pollo and for my sweet tooth cheesecake and in beverages i had yummy lemonade. Loved every bit of the scrumptious food . I highly recommend them if u really want to try the real Italian food then head over to Il Forno. Courteous staff, free parking available .

Slow service.. I ordered first and before 3 other orders only to get it last and wrong.. It took another 2 follow ups till they rectified. Food is OK but not worth repeating the whole experience.. Salad at the end of the main course is a deal breaker other than the cashier who is ready to say anything but fix the wrong sandwich!

The place is really cute and maintaining all Covid protocols. Staff was welcoming and supervisor was checking every table individually. For starters we tried chicken wings that were served with delicious sauce. Main course was Alfredo pastaa, absolutely divine. Extra cheese was served with the plate. Ordered Pepper Steak and that was cooked well-done. Also ordered Quattro Stagioni (4 Seasons) pizza and it was super cheesy and delicious. Il Forno is a place I have a soft corner for as it takes me back to a decade ago when I lived in Abu dhabi and religiously ordered from them every Thursday. I couldnt have been happier when I realized they were opening outlets in Dubai too.Visited their outlet at the Dubai mall and really enjoyed my meal here. Started the meal with a Filettini di pollo (the chicken tenders) that were irresistible. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, we absolutely loved these. We also called for a portion of Cheesy Garlic bread and a Cream of Chicken soup that was perfect for the weather and we relished.For the mains we called for Chicken Barbecue pizza and a pesto pasta. My personal favorite from the menu is the lasagne however wanted to try something different this one. What I loved about the Chicken Barbecue is that it was not very sweet and had generous portions of chicken in it.Ended the meal on a sweet note with their all time famous tiramisu. You surely cant miss this when here.

It tastes like a warm hug and one bite just won’t be enough. They were super soft and cut fine that they blended in well among the meat.  I loved the fresh herbs sprinkled throughout – basil is a match made in heaven in Italian cooking, and I thoroughly enjoyed its presence in this sauce. What I loved most about it was that it tasted so fresh.Choosing a pizza at I’ll forno isn’t easy. They have the perfect dough to topping ratio and they are always fresh.Overall experience was wonderful.

Interiors liked the way they have sorted the dishes as bestsellers and signatures in the menu, so you will not find it difficult to what to choose from it.I ordered pizza and pesto spaghetti, and they were mouthwatering.Amazing place for pizza and pasta lovers 👍

Taste a bit of Italy right here in Dubai at @ilfornouae at @thedubaimall.I loved their chicken wings, pepperoni pizza and baked chicken pasta. For appetizers I had the chicken strips which were so crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Just perfect! I highly recommend you try their cheesecake too. They have massive set of menu of pizzas, Pasta, fresh drinks and other varieties.They prepare fresh food in their live cooking  open kitchen.The extensive list of pizzas in different varieties and about 8-10 varieties of pasta. We been welcomed by the manager mr Darius and taken a good care by our nice waiter ms Cennica all over the evening. We had Insalata Al Salmone (Smoked Salmon Salad), Mozzarella Sticks, Fettuccine Cajun Alfredo and Bistecca Al Funghi (Steak w/mushroom sauce) with Grilled Veggies and French Fries on the side. The food was very delicious and tasty, made with fresh ingredients. The prices are super affordable since their portions are so huge I have never seen before!! We got that much full so there was no room for dessert despite the fact that I love dessert and usually don’t skip it. Highly recommended to all Italian cuisine lovers! Worth to try!.

This is the first time I have tried the place and I was shocked at the fact that I had not tried it before being in Dubai for so long! The fact that their food quality and taste is top notch and prices against are super affordable makes sure that this was not my last visit here.We visited their newest branch located in the Zabeel expansion of Dubai mall – the staff is welcoming and super sweet. They are too good at explaining the menu and make a choice since they have a fab variety of options.For appetizers, we tried Mozzarella Carozza and Garlic bread with cheese in appetizers. Being a cheese lover, I loved how cheesy and delectable the appetizers were! The Mozzarella Carozza was one of my fav dishes from the evening.For mains, we tried their Primavera pizza, Lasagna and Ravioli Di Funghi. The Primavera pizza was topped with artichokes, mushrooms and capsicums. The pizza bread tasted fresh and was super light while consuming; it had just the right cheesy pull!The Lasagna was stuffed with veggies – extremely creamy and filling – I’m surely coming back for this and highly recommend trying. Ravioli di funghi is for all those mushroom lovers out there! These raviolis were stuffed with mushrooms and cheese and is served in pink sauce! Keeping in mind how filling it is, I was quite satisfied with the quantity as well.We couldn’t try the desserts on this visit as we were super full but definitely going back for more! IL Forno is located on Level 6 of the new Zabeel extension of Dubai mall.Its a quaint restaurant with a some lovely references to Italy. The leaning tower of Pisa, falls as the main background of the restaurant.The restaurant has checkerboard table cloth and red and green napkins that make you reminisce Italy. The table and chairs are also similar to quaint cafes in Italy.The menu boasts a huge selection of Italian dishes. We ordered the Insalata Al Salmone (Salmon salad). I was pleasantly surprised at the portion. It was served along with Parmesan cheese and lemon butter sauce. The salad was fresh, zesty and refreshing.For the mains we ordered, Salmon Grande and Peper steak. The sizzling steak was served with a side of veggies and mashed potatoes.Both portions were generous and can be easily shared among 2 people.We also ordered Spaghetti Carbonara, it was extremely creamy and homely.We also ordered pomegranate juice and strawberry lemon juice.The staff is extremely hospitable and is always around to cater to your needs.IL Forno is definitely a must visit for some amazing Italian food.

Super excited to have discovered this joint. Didnt have Italian for a while but I can safely say it was worth the wait. Every thing was Appena Sfornato (Fresh out of the Oven)The Lasania was the best ive had so far in the UAE and the friendly staff really uplifted our dine in experience.The pizza took us back to our pre-covid Euro trips.Certainly a joint to look forward to when you are visiting Dubai mall.

Another favorite was the creamy cheesy Penne al Peperoncino.No feast is complete without dessert, and hence we choose to try the blueberry cheese cake and were not disappointed. A perfect day dine-in experience. Very hospitable staffs, all serving with a big smile on their faces. All their food is 💯% on point. I didn’t know what to expect when I went to try these guys out but i was blown away with their food, their portion size.- Their pizza was delicious we couldn’t stop eating.- I’m a big fan of spaghetti Bolognese and they made it so amazing I just couldn’t stop eating.- lastly their pepper steak, made to perfection. I was lurking around at the Zabeel extension in dubai mall ,when I came across this restaurant looked great with an open kitchen covered with glass in the sides having moderate seating area the look of the restaurant was good ,so I sat and ordered appetizers but before order the complimentary bread basket with sauces including my favourite pesto sauce was presented, the staff there had a friendly attitude and attatmosphere was very comfortable, in appetizers I really loved the chicken wings but waiting eagerly for the main course as I ordered ravioli pasta ,barbecue pizza, fettuccine white sauce pasta , strawberry mojito ,but the best part of the meal was the dessert in which I would recommend the blueberry cheesecake for sure OverallI loved the experience with them and would definitely visit again soon also is a 10/10 Recommended....xx

Ordered food through Uber Eats that never arrived. Contacted the restaurant, they promised to investigate and call back. They did not call. I called again, they said food was delivered. I never received it. So basically, they stole my money. Absolutely not recommended.
