The restaurant service is great, the interior decoration and ambiance exudes of calm luxury.The fried calamari was great, but my main dish in pic looked much better than it tasted. Prices are as high as expected of this kind of restaurant.

Place requires a miniature journey to find and reach and it isn’t very fun. Once you get there however, the atmosphere is worth your time. Savory options are good, we tried the mushroom risotto and beet carpaccio. The staff are incredibly fast and professional which makes the experience even better. To me the star of the meal was the the cheesecake which I think is one of the best in all of Emirates.

I loved the white dress of the female staff :) otherwise the restaurant gives you the impression of a high end restaurant but when you look at the small details such as the plates and the cutlery it’s a disappointment. We were disappointed with our carpaccio which was tasteless, the pizza wasn’t impressive as recommended and finally the lobster pasta rather tasted like ketchup sauce not a fresh tomato sauce (although it was aldente which we liked). Finally we had the cheesecake which honestly was the nicest we had but it’s not the one thing that will take us back.Throughout my experiences, beyond the food, the hospitality of a hotel or a restaurant is one of the most important things that will bring you back and I didn’t feel it there. Unfortunately. I lived in Italy, love it and have many Italian friends so it was more of a disappointment to me. I hope they will improve their service.

An Italian gem in Al Naseem Hotel. The pizza was described to be the best in town. I found it to be very good but not outstanding. Overall the food was delicious and very good. The atmosphere was elegant, relaxing and pleasant. Service was good.

Food, cocktails and venue are great! However, the staff hover your table and interrupt way too much. Makes the experience uncomfortable. I counted 7 times I was in the middle of a conversation and the staff disturbed us. Not to mention, we were being rushed to order our food, when we wanted to enjoy our cocktails before ordering. There’s a fine line between good service and being overbearing. Sort of got in the way of our romantic dinner experience.

Service; ambiance; food are all perfect. The chef is watching the tables like a hawk to make sure everyone is happy with their food. You must have reservation for a few days in advance if you want a good table. Of course all the good things has a cost to it 😉 beware.

The steak is a must try dish

Id call this the Italian of the italian restaurants. Really nice and cozy place with an open kitchen, nice diverse menu ranging from a truffle pizza to a salt crusted sea bass. Service is very good and staff is always ready to serve the dishes to make it more of a sharing experience which i find quite nice. The only con is that they are not open all day unlike Cipriani.

This restaurant gives you the real feeling of Tuscany with its authentic Italian dishes. The ambience, the quality of food makes it perfect for a a casual romantic dinner. I always visit with my husband for dinner. However, prices are at the high end.. have to keep a budget for this ;)

An overall great experience at Il Borro Bistro in Jumeirah Nessim Hotel in Dubai.It felt great that the staff was all vaccinated and so was our party of friends.We celebrated a birthday and had a great meal.The ambiance is upscale Italian with an amazing view out over the lagoon and a view of the Burj Al Arab as well.Food was very well presented and they had seasonal specials as well.The wait staff were great, filled your glass when you needed it without asking, the type of service you would expect at a 5* restaurant but many fail at unfortunately.Highly recommend this restaurant, prices are a bit high but not overly for the quality you receive.

Lovely celebratory dinner for my husbands birthday.Enjoyed our starters, mains and desert. Highlight for us was the fantastic service which was very attentive without being obtrusive, my lobster tagliatelle which was amazing with a generous helping of lobster and the incredibly light cheesecake.Highly recommended.

I went in a plan friends dinner the welcoming host team received us with a charming smile following the restrictions of hygiene in the current situation and guided us to our reserved table, the location is inside the hotel al naseen and the restaurant have access for wheelchair, during winter the terrace is open,but now summer just indoors the decorations is lovely the furniture comfortable, toilets very clean. Our amazing gentleman and respectful service was leading by Luis. The food was delicious and a mega plus for my gluten intolerance they offered a gluten free variety of options at the menu and a fantastic chocolate volcano as dessert glutenfree😍, with a wonderful performing in each dishes the chef was accurate with the portion and taste definitely coming always back and highly recommended as shared by the service team the food is very good quality selection from a Italian region what make more authentic and unique the flavour in every bites. thanks guys cheers

I booked a table a week in advance. Before arriving, since I was stucked in the traffic, I sent an email informing the restaurant that I was coming with some delay. Once arrived, the lady at the desk told me that she saw my email but still she gave away my table. So... she SAW the email in which I told that I was coming, but the decided NOT TO reply telling me that they were about to giving away my table. The didnt apologize, they just said that had to do that for their policies, but I dont think that a call/email or a message noticing me that my table was not available anymore wouldnt have hurted nobody... especially when I booked a table a week in advance. Not a good customer care experience considering the exclusivity of the place.

Went to Il Borro with high expectations having heard so well about this restaurant; it even got the award for best Italian restaurant in Dubai 2020. But I was really not impressed, and the service was quite ordinary.For entree, my husband just wanted simple bruschetta of tomatoes; the waiter said that they did not have it and told us to get the pappa al pomodoro which was similar. Before our entree arrived at the table, we saw a table behind us getting just what we wanted: simple bruschetta of tomatoes! Again, if this was a very complicated dish with elaborate ingredients, it is one thing, but a piece of toast with chopped tomatoes on top, it is hardly difficult. When we pointed out about this, the waiter said that the chef only allows deviations from menu rarely, but it just sounded like he did not care even to ask the chef for this simple request. To be fair, in the end they served us the simple bruschetta (after bringing the pappa al pomodoro), but it was not the best start of the meal...For mains we ordered the pizza al tartufo and tagliatelle al tartufo. They were nice but nothing memorable. I cannot even remember if we ordered something else (thats how much we remember). Probably not.For desserts, we had the tiramisu; again, it was ok but nothing memorable. I took away the cheesecake with blueberry compote as it is their best seller and I really wanted to try, but I was too full. Again, I cannot even remember the taste. I remember it being creamy, but nothing that would make me want to have it again.

Highly recommended! Relaxing atmosphere overlooking views of the lagoon at Jumeirah Al Naseem. Sat outside (which was great!) but would recommend indoor seating for a full experience of the ambience. The truffle pizza is a must try. Will definitely come back to try more of their dishes!

Loved the grilled prawns but the Beetroot Carpaccio & Pumpkin Tortellini with black Truffles were beyond fabulous! Exceptional service. The staff was well trained and so courteous. This place is a must visit if you like Italian food.

Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Some italian classics and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. We have been welcomed very well by Mr. Davide the general manager and he was the one who took our order, thank you Davide. Mr. Elidon served us the whole time and he knew what he was doing, I would recommend to ask for him specifically. At the end I would like to say thank you Miss. From the food, ambience to the service, one cannot fault anything.It is simply a treat when you dine here. The staff are both friendly whilst extremely professional. The manage Jeetu always takes great care of us.I know my Pizza and theirs is top notch, authentic Italian and dont forget to save some space for their desserts. The cheese cake is to die for..

Really good Italian fare. I’ve been here twice in a week. First time went for a friends birthday and then a second time with a friend. The food feels very fresh. The tortellini with roasted pumpkin was fantastic. Probably my favorite dish. The burrata super fresh. I added a dash of salt, but it was really good. The truffle pizza was awesome (reminded me of the one at The Maine), the risotto with asparagus was delicious, and the lentil salad had a nice sweetness to it. The only dish I wasn’t a fan of was the beef tartare. It tasted ok, but I was looking for more flavor.The Aperol Spritz was good and same for the different gin cocktails.Overall the restaurant is beautifully decorated, the staff is attentive, I heard some Italian here and there which was great, and I loved their open kitchen. The place has a great vibe and one can also easily have a conversation as the restaurant isn’t extremely loud and the fantastic music doesn’t drown out a chat.I’m looking forward to going back to try a few more dishes. This is quite simply the best Italian restaurant this part of the world. Very consistent, always fresh ingredients, and always GOOD! The service is excellent here, second to none. One of my favorites, ever. Don’t miss the pici, pappa alpomodoro, fiorentina, and truffle pizza.

It was the first place in Dubai I go to after 3 month and a half due to COVID. And it was the best choice i could have made.The service was amazing, the staff extremely helpful and friendly. The place itself looks gorgeous. And for the food was really great.I was sharing the tartuffo pizza and porcini risotto and they were both delicious. My cocktail was not the tastiest (Bianco di Carra). The alcohol taste was the most dominant vs the mentioned flavors. Nevertheless the impression i keep of the place is a very positive one. Will definitely be back soon.

Il Borro is definitely one of the best classic Italian fine dining restaurant in the city. The food is just as amazing as the beautiful venue and the professional staff. Evgenii our server recommended amazing dishes that were paired amazingly by the sommelier Jude. Everyone in the venue were so nice and and made our experience wonderful.

The food really isnt great - portions are very small and not taste.You pay 180 for a pizza, you expect for the pizza to have some taste.. unfortunately thats not the case.It has a nice atmosphere and the staff is trained well - thats why the 2 stars

The vibe, food and service was great. However, we found 2 pieces of hair in our food which was very disappointing especially because we were celebrating a birthday. The manager was made aware of this but we just received an apology from the waitress. Overall our experience could have been better.

Nice atmosphere and great food. Particular mention is deserved by the great service. A lot of quick and effective waitress. Waiting time was just right for every course. Well organized. One start less than max as it is overcrowded and very loud considering the ambitious of being an upper scale restaurant. 20-30% less guests and 10% higher prices would do.

Fantastic Tuscan food and great atmosphere. Nestled in the Turtle Lagoon at Jumeirah Al Naseem hotel. Downfall, the staff was nothing to highlight, the front attendants were slightly cold and standoffish, and our waiter made a few simple mistakes, nothing huge but things you come to expect from a 5☆ restaurant and hotel. Their Authentic and traditional menu features imported ingredients, and olive oil produced in Tuscany. The bread mix provided was average. But I was delighted to finally find a Risotto dish in Dubai that didnt contain mushrooms! Their beetroot Risotto was fabulous, cooked and seasoned perfectly. The beetroot chips as garnish was clever and original. Even though the Risotto was A++ Overall, the food, portions and service was underwhelming compared to other options in Dubai.

The restaurant has a lot of natural light and it is great place to have a business lunch or family time. The ravioli was delicious and the pizza was amazing. Highly recommend it
