Amazing hidden gem... With beautiful cozy view upstairs on the pool couches

Could be just my experience, but I really didnt enjoy my visit to be honest. Pizza was 3-star and ambience was 1-star so I balance it at 2 stars.Normally places like this dont allow children especially the crying loud type, but I think with business struggling, they made an exception, so my experience here was just a loud child screaming all night.Meanwhile the glass roof, which should have a view, was covered to block the summer sun except that it stayed covered even at night.I think if they focused on being a great wine and food spot, with real candles and ambient Italian music, in a quiet, intimate, space with visible windows, then it would be a different experience and one that people would actually seek out. Not my first visit at Al Fresco, and one of the most authentic and charming Italian restaurants in Dubai “with a genuine history“, compared to lots of “would-be” Italians. Food quality would have been rewarded with 5 stars, service and ambience with 4.5 stars: no loud Italian music, no fake Italian waiters, etc.But unfortunately we made a reservation, while upon arrival being approached by a staff member, offering us a 25% discount voucher on the entire bill. Once we made clear we had a reservation, the man quickly came up with the excuse that the discount was only applicable for walk-in customers … and not for reserved tables.We had a brilliant night but the way you treat your loyal and pro-active customers is rude and unacceptable. Because of that, it’s just a no go (again)!

The ambience is top notch, the food is wow, and most of all the service is absolutely wonderful!!I highly recommend this place, the amount of reviews doesnt do justice to it honestly.It is just .. Perfect!!Thank you Mirsaid and Sujay, you are the best!!

Wanted to try Italian pizza.. and I headed here.. the food was great.. though it took little while to get the food on table but this could be just forgotten with the pleasing staff and their excellent hospitality.. the interior of the restaurant was good.. made of wood .. So about the food.. they didn’t have any pizza with chicken but upon request the staff prepared Margherita pizza with chicken and cheese topping.. it was yum.. we also tried Risotto.. both were too good..

Italian restaurant conveniently located on SZR at Crown Plaza, having also an Italian Fiesta with all you can eat. The chef is open too custom make any dish.

Average Italian, the papardelle looks good but they were not delicious, Heineken beer save the lunch

Amazing and authentic Italian cuisine

After a year of social distancing and not going out it was a great experience to dine there, our server Sujay was a great guy, very professional, warm and friendly , the food was the BEST, I highly recommend them specially if you have Sujay as your server,. My compliments to chef for great food .

Excellent food and good service

One of the best Italian restaurant I have ever seen in Dubai. It is very authentic Italian taste/still. The restaurant is not big which is good for couples and families but not recommended for big groups. I have ordered very nice pizza called Stake Pizzia, very highly recommend.The pizza orders take a bite longer than what it should be, not recommended if you are in a hurry. Overall, my experience was very pleasant one.

One of the best authentic Italian restaurant in Dubai, they serve delicious pizzas & pastas , and tender t-bone steaks. Weeknights can be crowded and it’s best to make appointment, weekdays are more relax. They serve beer and wine

The shisha guy was very friendly

Wot can I say? My old time favorites. Even though risotto Al Nero is off the menu been a pretty long time the chef still prepare it for me. Luv it. Luv it luv it since more than 15 years. (Cindy is great and now there is a new waitress Aida who is also good)

Place looks very cozy and looks like a proper small Italian restaurant.But food 😑😭 we were advised on our dishes by the waitress and were expecting it to be delicious Italian food, but it was just disgustingMy pasta was made out of different types of pasta and they were cooked unevenly. Some which are thinner were fine, while some undercooked. Chicken had quite funky taste as well.Pizza Herceles.....just disgusting....Will never come again

Excellent meal yesterday evening.

After all these years still the best Italian restaurant in Dubai. They serve my favourite Carbonara spaghetti better than in Milano. Its like a classic food adventure to eat here.

Service for this type of restaurant is very poor. The simple concept of bringing food out to all the guests at the same time does not exist. Brought food for some guests and one guest received his food after all others were already done. Quality of the food is ok but does not justify the price.

Yummy food, the outdoor seating at crowne plaza hotel outlet is perfect for this weather.

Used to be a nice place with decent food, good service and good prices, however on our last visit, the waiters were lazy (we sat little far from the cashier, the waiters were there talking ignoring us , for more than 10 minutes), then we decided to move nearby that table, since we were limited in time. Then when we wanted to order, the waiters, trying to correct my pronciation of the italian dish: (I am not italian, i do not speak Italian, neither they are), but I find it rude!(Then, we were so annoyed by their attitute that we left to a japanese restaurant nearby)Prices have gone up, service has gone down! there are so many choices nowadays in Dubai, that i dont think i will return!
