One of the oldest restaurants in Dubai. Consistent quality. Friendly service and courteous staff. Chat items are excellent. Mirchi pakoda and samosa are divine. Though the double frying gives me tummy ache. Paneer burji, dhaal makhini are very tasty.

Amazing traditional Indian food for a good price! Exactly what we were looking for! We tried Reshmi Kebab, Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan and other dishes and they were all absolutely delicious. One of the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten... you rarely get that in Europe.Very nice and friendly staff as well! He made sure we’re 100% satisfied and gave us many recommendations! We ate here twice during a 12 day trip and I already miss the food!

I visited this restaurant twice but both time I got disappointed!!For the first time I ordered Poori Bhaji but it was too oily to eat and I thought it was done mistakenly by chef and keeping that in mind Next time I ordered Daal Makhni from the Menu and it was literally disgusting it was just an oily Dal with fried onions on it.The only thing I like there.. Green Chatni they gave as complimentary and it was really good.Service is quite good bug not upto the mark.Would not recommend this restaurant for sure.

Must try for all Indians living in Dubai. The restaurant has a history. Pappi uncle, the owner of the shop is a wonderful person. Uncle always offer more than what we order to eat as a sweet gesture. Food is delicious. Must try pindi chole with bhature. Dal makhni, kadhi pakoda, paneer makanwala are also good option to have.

I had food twice - once dinned with my family and friends and once takeaway recently - from this restaurant. Both the time we enjoyed the quality of the veg and non-veg food. After a very long time, I had a nice chicken tikka masala with chicken without thready/fiber texture, and nicely marinated so it doesnt taste like you are eating raw cheicken. Also I had ordered Chicken tikka masala roll. It was also good. My wife enjoyed Sarson ka Saag. Thanks to the chef for the tasty good quality food.

Sind Punjab....an authentic punjabi restaurant. One of the best place for punjabi food in this area. Definitely I recommend this place. Not very expensive and value for money. You will find all the usual list of punjabi menu. Unfortunately, I could have only vegetarian dishes the day i visited. Masala papad, Butter Roti and Panner Mutter Masali. Yummy food. Must visit place to taste authentic punjabi food.

Very bad place, located in bur dubai market, doesnot meet standards of being a good restaurant. This restaurant is a pain to find for newbies, difficult to find parking near constant construction, but its extremely worth it. Ive eaten here multiple times with friends from all over the world (including South Asians), and all agree at the taste and quality of the food. The restaurant is dark wood with two floors and very clean, although not fancy. Good for singles, couples and families, and the restaurant also does catering and delivery. Portions are large, spice levels can be changed according to each persons palate, and they accept cash and major credit cards.

Surprised that this is sindh punjab food. Been ordering for ages but this time food tasted like it is from some cheap cafeteria. Daal fry was made in Rai and curry leaves. Chicken tikka masala had curry leaves. are you really serving north indian food??? Paneer tikka masala had an odd smell like its been stale. We threw the food and considering it came 1.5 hrs after ordering, it ruined our weekend and meal. Pathetic and never ordering from this restaurant again.

Overall experience at this place was quite satisfactory I would say, the service was on time, the food was fresh and tasted good, didn’t seem to add any preservatives. Bread and time to deliver was very reasonable. When visiting the place prefer to sit in the private dining area, where the seating and ambiance is better although dimly lit and old school, at a little extra cost than sitting in the main restaurant, which is understandable and I didn’t mind. If in the area for sure it can be visited again.

This place is quite hard to find without Google Maps which, as always and in terms of smart / safe travelling and resource management, is a true godsend, but it’s just about 10min walk from the Al Fahidi metro station in the “humbler” / more down to earth part of Dubai.Food was gorgeous ; portions were very generous ; the staff was lovely and so helpful, and you could tell they were all taking great pleasure in making their customers happy. But more to the point, the prices were REAL cheap, much cheaper than most restaurants in hubristic and overpriced Dubai : you could still buy an all zones 20dirhams day ticket to get there, tip the staff accordingly, and yet still save yourself plenty of cash (to do other meaningful things with) !
