I like Saravana Bhavan restaurant I have been many branches around Middle East and India this branch located a hidden quiet area inside restaurant is small but clean fast service and food is tasty of course

Tried to check the food quality and tates because eating here after 5 years.Bought South Indian meal normal. Tastes same no change.

They have been serving authentic South Indian food for more than 40 years.I can vouch that they serve the best Ghee roast dosa from which the aroma of ghee was spreading all over. We also tried onion rava dosa, masala rava dosa and idli sambhar with multiple chutneys. The last but not the least we ended our meal with their flavorsome kesari which was full of ghee and was melting in mouth.This is a good place for vegetarians will definitely recommend.

Not too bad. Had the iddiyappam but it was quite bad. It was like frozen iddiyappam heated up. Also had the ghee paper roast plus coffee and those were good!

Food is okay. But very bad service from staff. Incompetent, Rude. Impolite and borderline shameless. The head of staff there is the worse of them all. This burdubai branch service staff are completely bringing down the level of an established multinational brand.The owner should look into it as others have also posted similar experiences. Their service standards and attitude needs change.

I had my onam Sathya 2021 without banana leave 1st time in my life on Saravana Bhavan. Food taste not familar with real onam Sathya. It just a name only ONam Sathya poster outside door entrnace of restaurant to boost our business..

I love south Indian food and Sarvana bhavannis amongst my first choice. Dropped in for.lunch on my way to AL burz Khalifa to the top. Two floors. Decent sitting arrangement. We had rava masala dosa and sambhar vada. Taste same, Yum it is. Service is quick.

This restaurant is perfect place for people missing south indian food . If not care for money and need best in taste go for it .. maslaa dosa 12 Aed .. no compromise in quality and taste.. chatnis are fresh and perfectly balanced in species .

The food was very very nice and we had a nice talk with somebody from the restaurant. We ate one of the best dosai we have ever eaten in our life. The pouhri was also very nice. Go there, eat there and taste everything.

No attentiveness at work at all.Despite charging very high price for all foods during this pandemic situation, there is no proper handling of orders and while delivering some of the dishes ordered were missed as well.Ashamed of writing this sort of review against an once upon a time reputed restaurant.Just running the restaurant for money sake and nothing else...Better to ban this restaurant in UAE...

Definitely not like Tamil nadu Saravana bhawan. Guests does not feel welcomed, its unhygienic and steward dont understand basic English. Food is below average. I was excited when I was going to visit. But was really disappointed after visit.

Worst ever restaurant in Burdubai. Highly increased price for a chaeper quality food. Importantly timid-behaved staff, particularly caah counter staff. No any value for customers & their money. I will never visit again there. Very worst experience on Today lunch parcel. Very less quantities of cheaper dishes. But the price is aed 21+2 (2 for extra for parcel).

During COVID time onwards, rates are increased so high , not worth now, very disappointed today dinner, 3 thin masala dosha, as per their words big, cost aed54, upstairs they closed due to staff deduction, now most of restaurant here in uae are increased each menu item compared before lockdown

Pathetic service when it comes to deliver food. I ordered food and as 1hr time passed. I called them to check the status. They did not receive the phone. After 10min they calling me and telling me to pick up the order. Really worst service ever. So think before when you order food to deliver at home.

Most horrible experience ever in any hotel .I have been there 3 times and all the times the experience is pathetic. The manager and the staffs are so arrogant. Food taste is ok but the time taken to deliver the same is very bad and if asked they answer arrogantly .

Its everything you would expect from Saravana Bhavan, food, service and price. Trying vegetarian for two weeks in Dubai,we were adamant to try Saravana Bhavan in Dubai. The food taste was exactly the same as all the other branches. Just stepping into the restaurant you immediately feel as if you are in Chennai

Saravana Bhavan Restaurant is located in Bur Dubai, nearby to the ABRA water taxi departure point / (Bank of Baroda). Good south Indian variety of dishes. Thali unlimited.

Most horrible food. The waiters though Indian cud not speak English or Hindi. Food served was cold. A simple unlimited thali meant they will come n ask if we need something extra or more. They could not be bothered.Requesting for a simple buttermilk with ice...we were told either take what they serve or cancel it. They are running just on their past names.Foreigners who are not used to this kind of food...be wary of acidity etc.

I saw cockroaches in the sweets where they kept and I informed them, that some insects are going. The guy sitting on the counter said it just came and he dont know from where it came. They didnt even remove the sweets from there. I told them clearly that cockroaches were on sweets please remove and I checked coming out secretly either they remove or not. As I was waiting for someone to come there. But they didnt remove. So rest is on the people who want to eat there or not. this is my experience I shared. Good luck

They have 100 items in menu but only 10 will be available. If you are not kerala or Tamil then it will be hard to communicate and explain to staff about what you want. Dont go by their menu.. This is just dosa and uthappam shop

We had a chance to have a cup of filter coffee. I mean we are used to that Indian hardcore strong coffee which was really difficult to find. But this place had it and the owner was quite generous coz he was shutting down but still allowed us to take coffee.

It was all about simplicity & when I was asked where I’d like to go for my birthday breakfast, Saravana Bhavan was my first choice.... especially since my favouritest visitor had expressed a wish to eat there. Ooohhhh I had missed their sambhar dipped medu vadai & she had missed their masala dosa served with 3 varieties of chutneys. My 2nd visitor had experienced their thaali in 2017 but this time he was introduced to the mini tiffin... all accompanied by filter coffee. There was food on the table & then there were all gone!!! I wouldn’t ask for any other way to celebrate my birthday... surrounded by loved ones, family & fantastic food.

Sarvana Bhawan is the best place in India for South Indian Snacks and food.At Dubai also our family went to Sarwana Bhawan with the same zeal and expectation.But the food is not exactly the same.It can be 70 to 80 percent similar to what is served at their joints in India.The taste and quality can improve.But still a very good option in Dubai for south Indian food lovers.

This restaurant is good only for South Indian breakfast ....near the temple I went to that branch ..the service was so pathetic....the server (waiter) looked like Nepali but I noticed him speaking Tamil with other colleagues...he was standing right in front of him and he can notice that i want to order but no response then i had to call him .....the way he spoke to me ...as if he is forced to work there .....getting words out of his mouth was like a blessing ....very laid back server ...not ready to explain what they have in breakfast .....coming to my table if I call was like a war for him....it spoiled my mood going to this restaurant....
