We ordered set of beryani, butter chicken, and nan bread, and for starter chaat platter.Chicken butter didnt taste that good to be honest, didnt feel right im not sure whats missing.As for beryani my friends did enjoy the meal.As for the chaat platter it was really good, I just have 1 small complain which is regarding the plate which its served on, its too big for the table it took alot of space and made it awkward.

This is an upscale north indian restaurant chain linked to Lulu group. Food is awesome and the ambience is prefect whether you look for family gathering or want to eat somewhere quite. I was a bit skeptical to visit specially after reading the reviews on Zomato. However, my experience was pleasant. They greet you and show you to your table. First comes the bowl of crunchy chips along with the menu - this is on the house 😀. They have a physical menu instead of virtual one which they can improve on specially in this covid environment but to compensate they have a sanitizer bottle on the table itself. We ordered the Portugese potatoes which was spiced right and perfectly cooked. For the mains we ordered plain rice with prawns moilee which felt as fresh as the Thai curry and a generous amount of prawns were in the curry. Also ordered a chaas which was served in an earthen pot. The chaas was thick and flavoured well with chaat masala. The staff advises you of the offers i.e. in house loyalty program and Zomato pro and are courteous. Overall a good experience.

Its a great place for some nice, delicious food. Staff is really friendly and pleasant to speak. Food is delicious and with rich flavours. They have good provision to sit inside and outdoors. Definitely a place to go multiple times for the ambience and delicious food!

I must say, the restaurant is located at a very nice place at Dubai festival mall as well the ambience is great.The food is PATHETIC, the service/hospitality is worst. The price of a dish is quiet high and quantity very less.I went there on womens day and came out very sad.Definitely not recommendable for dining - if i crave for Indian again for Indian cuisine I rather go to a restaurant on the roadside than paying a high amount for tasteless quantity and quantity.

Good experience for family dining

Great food and ambience. We were a group of ~ 20 people who had booked a set menu at 100 AED per person. The menu was good value for money because of the huge variety of dishes, reasonable quantity, and everything tasted amazing (both veg and non-veg). Nice seating overlooking the creek with good distancing of the table from other diners. We just wished our stomachs were bigger to be able to taste more of everything.Our only recommendation for improvement is that the starters and main course could have been served closer together in time and that since they do not allow packing of leftover food from a pre-ordered menu we requested the restaurant to ensure that there is no food wastage of the leftovers and sincerely hope that this was kept in mind.

The restaurant offers a generous variety of items on its menu from different parts of India but it does not coincide well with the prices set. For the amount paid, the food was average and at times bland.The ambiance in show is decent in its rustic decor. The staff were well mannered and offered great service but it didn’t justify the final bill.Overall, the restaurant is average and not recommended.

I can tell that this is among the best Indian cuisine restaurants in the UAE. Decoration, food, portion, staff and menu are excellent. My friend and I ordered from the poultry section of the menu: khaddai and tikka masala, both dishes are very delicious. Staff are very hospitable and attentive. It took me long time to convince my mother to go and eat in an Indian restaurant.After reading the reviews I decided to go to peppermill.My mom loved the food and she said we have to come here every time we eat out :).The food was perfect, the service was perfect and the staff was excellent.I even order 2 meals for me :).

The location is very nice, especially outside during the winter, the service is friendly, but slow and not professional , took long time for 2 dishes, while the restaurant is almost empty. The biyriany is almost accepted, but the no value for money. Small quantity and lack of flavor. The chicken butter has no relationships with other chicken butters that we can taste them in other decent restaurants in the city.

I went here along with a friend for a quick snack while we were whiling around at DFC Mall.Upon entering the restaurant, we were awe-struck by their gorgeous Mughal-inspired interiors with a lovely waterfront view.For food, we ordered their ‘Kaley Bhai ke Chote Pao’ which is basically a completely black Vada Pao and we also opted for their Aloo-Gobi Samosas.The Black Vada Pao was a different experience, the taste was good, however considering how chewy the bun was, I wouldn’t necessarily order this again.The Samosas were above expectations!After this, we had Rasmalai Cake for dessert and this Saffron infused milk cake with Boondi was an absolute delight!The staff were very polite and accommodating, can’t wait to try out some of their other offerings.

Peppermill shikanji is an interesting and really fun drink. Gorkha chicken is very flavorful and has a home-cooked comfort feel. Chicken Biriyani was simple and comforting and felt good to have without feeling lethargic after. Love the food and waterside view!

Best Indian cuisine restaurant in Festival Mall.Authentic menu, well served and absolutely delicious. I visited with colleagues and we shared 3 dishes; chicken tikka, the lamb korma and chicken madras from memory. They were well sized but we could all eat them again they were so good.Staff were pleasant, helpful and had the right amount of attentiveness.Will definitely return for another go!

Today I had dinner in Pappermil, the best thing about Pappermil is ambiance, North Indian food taste, and the view of Dubai mall, burjkhalifa, and fountain from the balcony where they made arrangements to sit and enjoy the dinner. I had butter paneer, soya chap, cheez naan, tandoori chapati, Dal fry, rice and onion gravy naan (I dont remember the exact name) but it was amazing in taste. If youre going like two people, you can have one veg and 2 chapati, naan and rice and dal thats enough. In desert you can try the cake Rasmalai which is again yummy and tasty and two people can eat it bcz its too big in size. Ive also tried the chat platter which was really amazing. I will suggest you guys to try the cheez naan, chat platter, soya chap, cake Rasmalai and enjoy the elegant view of Burj khalifa, Dubai mall and fountain from the restaurant. And finally the staff, they are amazing and decent specially Mr. Atraj ( If I remember it right)... Wish you guys more success in life and explore the worl with me. I am yours the only Local guide with Genuine review. And at the last we paid 285 AED for 3 people and had enough food which Ive already discribed in the above paragraph.

Vegetarian dishes are delightfully tasty! Must try the Hyderabadi eggplant. Kathal masala was a bit too spicy. Could have toned down the heat on that dish. Chicken and mutton dishes all seemed to have the same curry- a thick red tomato base with the same tempering and spice combination. Tried the butter chicken, vindaloo and rogan josh.Overall good experience.

Family friendly, wide variety of authentic Indian food at very reasonable prices & with excellent service. The portion sizes are just right. Highly recommend the KATAIFI PRAWNS & the BUTTER CHICKEN, (we didnt like the MURGH MALAI TIKKA). Try to get a table with the creek view you wont regret it. Overall an excellent experience.

Overall, Peppermill impressed me a lot! We tasted a lot of food and everything had a distinctive taste with great quality maintained. It’s priced reasonably (midrange) and the service was good. Hopefully, Peppermill will expand all over UAE! I’d be recommending this restaurant a lot!

The food was great. The decor and the outdoor seating is nice. The staff is a little bit rude and slow. The food server didn’t wear any gloves despite the fact that we are living a pandemic, and the dirty glass handrail disturbed the view.

Tasty and delicious, the main dishes are moderately priced, but sides are expensive.

Well their entire menu is really good enjoyed all the food that we ordered .. takes lot a waiting time .. but I would find same item outside more tasty than this place for a bargain price !

The food is good but not that delicious

Delicious food and wonderful ambience. the restaurant was enjoying heavy foot falls, which is a testatment to its popularity. The stewards were friendly and did their best to serve all patrons in the shortest possible time. All our dishes, fish, chicken and mutton were well cooked and enjoyed by us. We would recommend this restaurant unhesitatingly. Moreover its available on the Entertainer App, which makes it competitively priced as well.

The first time I went to this restaurant I was impressed by the quality of the foods. The second time I visited the restaurant I ordered exactly the same dish and the same juice. Unfortunately the dish was like less than half the quantity they offered the first time. Instead of the colonial mango-milk juice they offered the leben with mango parfume that I can find the grocery just next to them. I would preferred that they told me it was not available for that day.

Always prefer to eat from here whenever we visit DFC mall.The menu keeps changing and the food is freshly prepared. The hospitality is great and always welcoming. A bit disappointed last time as there were very less waiters or waitresses to attend the table.
