This is a Review for all Unions and bot just this store .Unfortunately Union Coperative once of the best and cheapest hypermarkets around the country has been transformed to one of the worst hypermarkets .Quality has dropped significantly . On Saturday night they dont have fresh Bread , Most of vegetables are either not good quality or eaither extreamly over priced .Cherry at 99 AED a Pack ?And thr eorst thing is the promotions they advertise which most of the times are misleading and false .For example 3 Mouthwash as of today was for 54 AED ( buy 2 ger one free ) however thr same pronotions in Amazon is for 27 AED !Mozerral cheeae they offer to have 30% More however its the same price of the normal ones with the same size .Will nwver buy again amd advise everybody to check amazon or Carrefour before buying because sometimes you can save more than 100 AED per visit

Very clean and well organized with a vast variety of groceries. Not so crowded, but traffic in certain aisles can get a little finicky.

Quite good prices and promotions. The variety of some products is quite limited as they have their own brand and sometimes it’s the only option available. This store is good for general shopping, for stocking things on monthly basis. You can find anything for the house, from fresh, canned and frozen food to toys, home stuff, cleaning products and some small appliances and furniture. There was a bakery and butcher inside the store as well.

Great place to shop your grocery list but you have to watch the fruits and vegetables prices and conditions. Also check the expiration date on all other products while you shop some items only few days to go. But generally they are making good offers and not overcrowded place

A great place to do regular shopping. You can find all the essentials in this supermarket. The lamb meat they sell is very delicious. I always go for the Iranian imported meat or the Australian local slaughter meat. It is always delicious and the vendors are very helpful.

Good place to shop, prices r reasonable and products are fresh. And open 24 Hours so really good to go late night and shop when there is hardly any crowed.Do subscription for there Tamayaz membership it gets you discount on bills as well as points which u can redeem.

They have everything you need, but not everything is top quality or sold for the best price. The shawarma is usually soggy and the bread is too thin to hold the insides efficiently. The manakish are only average, would rather get it from a street place in sharjah. Cheese and Turkey are good enough for my taste. The fruits and veggies have dynamic prices and usually very inflated, but theres always a few fruits that are abundant and cheap. Now thats common with alot of the hypermarkets but theres a bit of crazy going on when tomatoes are 40 dh/kg thats price is on fire. Cereals are also overpriced, especially the established brands (Kellogs, Special K, Coco pops, etc) and its rare to find ones for 18 dh or less (usually Lion and Chocapic). Ice cream is almost always overpriced unless its a budget brand like Igloo or Kwality which personally I dont like. You might find alot of the gourmet ice cream or japanese mochi ice cream, I found a brand that sells one scoop for 37 dhs - thats the same as a medium sized BR ice cream bucket.Overall the quality fluctuates between good and bad, usually averages out as a 3/5. Prices can be high but you can cut costs if you know what youre looking for and buy it in season/ on sale. Very preferable over carrefour, maybe on par with Baqer Mohebi.

Bestesttttttt place ever. So convenient. So organised. I neved had any issues shopping from here. One thing I would recommend to everyone shopping from here is to buy a tamayouz card from the reception area. I think the card is free. Really you save a lot on that card, like you could buy 3 shawarma and pay only price of one or two. And you also get latest offers of the supermarket on your number every now and then. Make sure to have their shawarma and also the bakery side is nice. The meat cutting side is very organised and clean. Great offers, this supermarket does some amazing offers with very little notice, 50% of entire ranges. this particular trip had 50% of all dairy and frozen food, I missed out on the 50% of all toiletries :( as I found out at a later date. Also their Fruit and Veg is the best quality in comparison to all other supermarkets

Good place to shop. But lately the workers are working on the floor the are not following the mask policy . Putting the mask on the chin is not effective. The mask must cover mouth and nose. I did report this mater to customer service and promised to instruct the workers to wear the mask correctly. Thank you

This place has everything and for great prices. Its near to my office so I end up passing by sometimes for a quick bite as they have a great selection of foods in their cateting/cafeteria section. I pick the best marinated chicken and the quantities that I want and they make it fresh for me! They never disappoint

Plenty of parking places in front of the hypermarket. The prices are very good . Even though the space is big you will be surprised that certain items are missing and some offers are not available. They have good selection of vegetables and dairy products.

Big hyper market. Ample parking spaces outside & below. Has fresh produce & all grocery needs, all in one place. Home appliances, luggage etc all available. Only thing, prices are on the higher side when compared to similar hyper markets.

This is my absolute favorite place to shop, since I live nearby. I simply love the layout as makes it easy and accessible to get what you are looking for and they have an impressive variety of foods from all around (they also have an organic section for all you health freaks). Prices are also very reasonable and there are a lot of offers for various products.It misses a star because of the staff. Most of them seem miserable and some are even impolite. If you can get over this, then I highly recommend this Union Coop for your weekly grocery shopping.

Excellent supermarket with fresh bakery, meat and fish counters. Amazing delicatessen with all kinds of cheese, olives and a decent packed salad range to take away. Very large fresh fruit and vegetable section and they also prepare fresh juices. This is a fairly Arabised type of supermarket with a big focus on all the delicacies that our locals love. Super clean environment, good service and plenty of staff. The shelves are always well stocked and theres a big range. Less of the European typical products like Marmite (maybe there I havent seen it!). No pork products or tobacco sales. Very good supermarket all round, highly recommended to anyone that loves a big shop!

Cheese n paneer are better compared to other supermarkets. Major drawback for me being a south Indian, many kitchen ingredients are not available like jaggery.

Today morning, 1st July 2020 @ 8:16 AM, we had a bad experience at Union Cooperative, Al Wasl. The actions were inappropriate and she failed to show professionalism. At the Counter 9, the two cashiers were having chit chat / gossip during working hours and they were not paying attentions to their customers. While she was wiping her area, I told her excuse me we would like to pay, she SHOUTED us just wait I am cleaning seems she doesnt want to disturb while having chit chat to her co-worker. She was not aware that we were in front of her, so we called her then she was shouting. We feel ashamed and hurt at the same time. We dont have time to complain there as we are late for office. The staff is always rude. I got products with different prices displayed and when i paid they charged a lot more. I went to customer happiness center and they were not very helpful. I dont understand why the staff is always so rude and so low in energy, most probably they are not very happy with their jobs.

My favourite supermarket so far.Having tried Lulu, Carrefour, Spinneys, Waitrose & Choithrams, Union became my new favorite today. Why? Assortment and shopping experience. UC has a great choice of produce ... the best in fruit and veg in my view and excellent range in everything else. And its very reasonable.Its the last one I visited and ironically, the closest to home. I will be shopping here from now on.

Ample free parking and easy to access... Union serves most of Halal items and very famous in Arab crowd so all promos are designed keeping them in mind... This place has an exchange house and McDonalds so kids can grab a bite..it has small shops where you can repair watches and make keys. Emirates post is beside it so that is also very handy... For residents of al barsha is one of the best places to purchase their daily needs or weekly but is better if you do monthly shopping their and don’t forget to register for tamayoz card so you get great deals and offers and monthly discounted items vegetables and fruits are fresh and meat and chicken are delivered daily fresh

Union Coop. Hypermarket at Al Wasl near Gems Primary School, in Dubai is a real huge Hypermarket. Open 24 hours it has practically all items you may need. From groceries to vegetables to fruits to milk to bread. To frozen items. Etc.etc. and all fresh. it also has ample parking space, both outside and in the basement. Lots of cash counters for quick customer service and payments. If the shopping is heavy, you can go late night as it is open 24 hours. Free parking in the basement and paid parking outside. Worth a visit.

Really good store, has most things needed but for a Friday morning it is not managed well. The fruits and vegetables weighing counter had only 1 worker there which was crazy considering its Friday morning, the same problem with the check out counters, not enough people there.

Worth money place for all groceries and you get fresh meat and Fish for a very reasonable price.

Union coop is okay sometimes customer service is lacking ie: you are at the register and something doesnt scan they dont know how to manually type in a price and make you go find it again. They do have a decent amount of produce but limited organic produce. They have a large selection of household items and cleaning supplies as well. Good fish section.

Make sure you get a Tamayoz membership card for free and use it each time to collect points and to avail offers.Go to their meat section and order a kebab or Shish tawook sandwich :)Prices and varieties are good considering this is not one of their large branches. Their veggies are usually good and sometimes you might be lucky when they have an offer day for the holders of the membership card.

Coop has Macdonald in it also Subway! Theres also a pharmacy and Ansari Exchange ! Plus a perfume shop, honey retailer, Arabic sweets retailer and also a charity Kiosk.Theres departmental store on the top and kids play area

The good news they do a lot of promotions for Tamayaz card holders ( loyalty program for UCS supermarkets). Also this is the one supermarket in Dubai that have a fairly good selection of local organic veggie produce at very very decent prices.What I am not very happy about is that they keep changing the prices for a lot of their fast moving items on an almost daily basis. All in all my food bill is lower compared to other supermarkets in Dubai.
