London Slide located at Bluewaters Island is an absolutely cool and fun place. The ambiance was great and the staff was super friendly. They offer a good variety of food items on the menu. I had ordered the sliders and they tasted really good. The place is customised and gives a completely different vibes once you are there.
Unfortunately there is no option to rate it any lower than 1. The food was very poor and the service was extremely average - we were the only customers. Will not be visiting again.
London Slide may just have convinced me that sliders need to be taken seriously. At least theirs do. Located (literally) under the right nostril of Ain Dubai (by Meraas) on the very tip of the Bluewaters Island Wharf, London Slide’s interior is a successful mixture of art deco and urban chic. There’s an (unusable at this time of year) outdoor area which should be a real hoot when that wheel starts a-turning. It’s worth mentioning that London Slide is a part of The London Project (upstairs).I’m not sure what the connection is but London Slide offers both sliders and bao. I’m not big on bao and stuck instead to the sliders ordering The Duke, Marinated Grilled Chicken and the Fleet Street Fillet for a good, non-veg sample of their menu. First things first – size – these sliders are bigger than the midgets some places serve. They’re about the same diameter of an In-N-Out burger (maybe just a tad smaller) but double the height; you really have to stretch those jaw muscles. There are two sliders per order which represents pretty amazing value if you ask me.I cannot remember the last time I was so smitten at first bite. And this applies to all three sliders, the grilled chicken particularly so. In fact, if I had to choose one which impressed me the most, I’d say it was the chicken. Why? Well, think about how good grilled chicken in a bun needs to be to outshine a perfectly cooked meat patty drizzled with truffle oil. Yeah, it was really special. So was the fish and chips style fillet of battered cod which comes sandwiched in a black bun – yeah! And before anyone accuses me of being any more gluttonous than I am, there were two of us – I didn’t eat all that on my own.Service was equally good. And I realised why after chatting for a couple of minutes with the pretty Czech manager, Gordana. The Aussie owners of The London Project, of which London Slide is a part of, are the same dudes behind Leopold’s of London. That’s where the funky concepts and experience comes from. Only opened since Feb of this year, London Slide has hit the ground running. And it’s not just about food, Gordana tells me that London Slide has a commendable social conscience, using everything from paper straws to donating 10% of the proceed of their own brand of water towards conservation projects. That’s all very good and I bao to them (I just had to throw that in) but it’s their sliders I shall return for and so should you. London Slide, worth a detour.Hey! It is a small place very well designed and decorated. Their food from sliders are amazing and delicious. Their mocktails are super delicious. Definitely recommended.
We were looking for a reason to visit the Blue Waters Island and when we were invited to this newly opened restaurant, we could not say no! That’s how we explored both the new location and the restaurant.Located right beneath the quintessential world’s tallest Ferris Wheel at Bluewaters showcasing a piece of London with its artistic decor created by rising artists. There was an outdoor seating with shade but with the weather being too harsh we dined indoors, a small chic place with a bar look where the milkshakes and drinks are prepared instead, they also have a selfie wall how cool is that.Brownie points from us for playing old school tracks that made the experience even more fun! Their menu was concise and to the point with sliders, mocktails and baos.Bite BoardWatermelon Lemonade [AED 30]: Beautifully presented where you have to inject the watermelon syrup with pomegranate seeds into the lemonade with an injection. We loved the combination of both the fruits and it was really refreshing.Banoffee Shake [AED 55]: A freakshake that was filling and good enough for sharing between three. You would go bananas after having it, such a treat for the heat.Orange Spritz [AED 35]: A citrus drink that was one of our favorites.Chocolate Indulgence [AED 30]: The regular chocolate milkshake that had the a thick texture and sugar in it.Torpedo Prawns [AED 35]: Panko crusted prawns that came along with sriracha mayo on the side. A great appetizer for those who love prawns.Sweet Potato Fries [AED 25]: The fries come with truffle mayo on the side. Indulge yourself in a sweet and savory side best paired with the sliders.Crumbed Camembert [AED 30]: When a bite of something cheesy makes your day, then this dish paired with cranberry sauce will be on your top of the to do list. A bit on the heavier side and filling.Family Wheel: This was great for sharing. It included two portions of convent garden and fleet street fillet, and one of southern smoke, marinated grilled chicken and the duke.Covent Garden [AED 40]: Green colored buns using spinach stuffed with vegetable rosti, cheddar cheese, lettuce, onion and tomato slice topped with tzatziki sauce. Gramworthy sliders with exquisite taste.Fleet Street Fillet [AED 40]: Black color buns using squid ink with a concept of fish and chips but in a slider form made of battered cod. Recommended for all the seafood lovers.Southern Smoke [AED 40]: Grilled chicken breast with honey mustard sauce, lettuce, tomato slice, red onion and avocado. Usually, we are not huge fans of avocado in our food but for these sliders we don’t mind having them again. The Duke [AED 55]: A slider with wagyu beef, brie cheese, mushrooms, truffle oil, avocado, tomato slice topped with japanese mayo. Our favorite of the lot, then again we are biased with the beef burgers since they seem to blend well with all the flavors so well and the truffle just added a kick to the slider that made it taste amazing. You will not be ready to share this one.Fried Chicken Bao [AED 45]: Fried chicken with in-house slaw, japanese mayo, red chili, spring onion and coriander. Crisp chicken in a pillow soft bao, don’t think we need to describe any further to tempt you guys.Spicy Beef Bao [AED 45]: Slow cooked shreed beef brisket with kimchi, cucumber, crisp onions, red chilies, spring onion and coriander. It had a sweet and tangy tasted which we thoroughly enjoyed, loved how all the flavors of american and asian came together that made a delightful meal.Tiger Prawn Bao [AED 60]: Seasoned tiger prawns with in-house slaw, cucumbers, wasabi, red chilis, spring onion and coriander. For the spice and seafood enthusiasts, this would hold a lot of appeal considering the dynamite prawns, the fire with a blend of wasabi and chilis would be an add on.We had the manager explain the concept of the place, and all the staff was courteous and quick on their feet for whatever we needed. The prices were reasonable considering the location, quality, and portions being offered.
A great new addition to The London Project family. This spot new spot on Bluewaters Island specializes in sliders, baos and milkshakes. We thoroughly enjoyed a late weekend lunch and really appreciated the urban funky vibe of the venue, with vibrant street art from Rich Simmons adorning the walls and a soundtrack of early 90s hip-hop and UK Garage. There’s been a lot of talk about the best burger joints in town recently and though it’s really too early to really tell we’d like to throw London Slide into the mix, for their Big Ben (grass fed Angus Pattie, cheddar cheese, pickle, lettuce, red onion and the perfect ratio for mustard and tomato) made this East Londoner VERY happy indeed 🍔
Perfect burgers! And very lovely staff.. With the beautiful ambiance of Dubai Eye, this has to go on your bucket list.👌🏽
Great food and friendly staff! Had The Duke sliders which were pretty tasty and a decent sized beef patty. Toffee Coffee shake complimented the meal well. Their burger wheel for the sliders is pretty cool... Next time 😜

I love the burgers and the waitress is so friendly. I will be come back soon 😋
Wonderful service. Great presentation. Though less but delicious vegetarian items.Tofu slider and mushroom bao are both must try. A little on the costly side but makes up for it in the taste department.
Amazing place where you could sit and chill, located at the bottom part of the wheel, accomodated with friendly and professional staff . The Duke slider must tryyyyy ...Highly recommended %
Nice place facing the big wheel , delicious sliders ,the duke slider was tasty and shakes are fully flavored
The food was amazing 🤩
Because of the pictures and instagramers you may have seen before going to this place, once you enter it is a bit disappointing (inside feeling and look wise). In terms of food, the burgers are delicious but I cannot say the same about the baos. If I want to go back? Maybe not. Once the wheel opens and the island is more popular it can be a place to have an (expensive) snack.
Decent sliders located right under the wheel.
Lovely place to have a sliders and baos
It was ok. Ambiance was nice. The menu was small.
Nice place to Hang out but not in Summer
Sweet potato fries were not good ...otherwise ambiance is good
