Should be Egypt embassy want to improve more systematic. Some time they making us too long waiting. Only accepting currency for better transaction if they accept cards is very helpful for us.

No one answering phone calls, seems they are not considering answering requests , or they do not have any information to give through phone calls. we need proper embassy, with efficient employees servicing the notional Egyptian abroad...

I think this is the worst place to be in during our modern times. Saying that it is a farm is a compliment, it is less than a farm. It would take 100 years for this place to be humane. I don’t even know how this place could be improved due to the infinite things that could be changed.

This is by far the worst place to be. They still have the mentality that they own you. It’s same attitude you’ll find in Egypt itself uncivilised and they think they are superior.I will never go to that place again even if I have too. I just wish them to face the same when they need somethingThat star should be removed but I just want everyone to know and prepare before they step inside the ‘embassy’

I went to renew my passport, I paid AED 630 and they didn’t give me any cash receipt. They told me it will take 4 months to finalize the renewal and they told me that I can’t travel to Egypt during this period because if I do then the renewal will be cancelled, and that I can use my old passport to travel to any country except Egypt!Why no receipt and why not to travel to Egypt? And why 4 months to renew a passport???We expect better treatment for Egyptians working abroad!On top of that they don’t answer phone/email/WhatsApp…For any small inquiry, you have to drive many kilometers and spend 30-40 minutes depending on your location to reach the consulate!

Un professional and rude Staffs, Nothing is organised at all.No one is following Safety measures more than 100 people are sitting and standing inside the Hall. without following any safe distance.Staffs dont understand any language except Arabic.in case you ask any Question like which nationality can get visa on arrival or any information about visa process the staff at counter # 03 will not answer your question and if you ask again they will start arguing and saying (no Engilsh) speak arabic only.If you ask for any details in written form (like Memo) they will treat you like you have done a crime and ask security to take you out.not only this the security officers dosent know English as well. and they will shout and fight with you.Counter direction signs are only written in Arabic.There is no information desk. no complaint section.Worst experiance ever.

I am so proud of my consulate has developed on processes and decent way of the team overthere when the deal with its own citizens. Big thanks for our Government.

An entire 4 months to issue a passport ! Really ?!You force people to get panelized with residency and ICA fines.

I went there at 8 am (before they officially open by 30 minutes) to super legalize some papers.The entire process, since they opened their doors at 8:25, took me less than 60 minutes. And, honestly, the entire experience exceeded my expectations, it was easy, fast and well organized.

Delayed Passport for more than 4 months.They don’t respond phone calls

Was quite smooth - took me less than half an hour to apply but it could be because of Covid as not many people are travelling these days. The visit visa window wasnt as busy as othersThe Pakistani gentlemen who hand you the visa application forms etc. are very polite and extremely helpfulThe lady on window 3 - gosh - I am guessing she is a very old staff there working in the same position for years as this kind of attitude usually emerges when there is no growth (for whatever reason). I had made sure visa documents for each of my family members were kept separately but since the application form is not available online and I had to fill it out there at the consulate, I didnt get a chance to put them separately under each family members passport.Straight away she said go back and put the application form separately. Fair enough but you can say the same thing a bit politely. When I returned she processed the application quite fastThen when I went to collect my passport around 2 pm, it was the same lady handing out the passports. A gentleman in front of me was asking a question very politely whether visa is required to go to Sharm al Sheikh or not and she kept refusing very rudely. His argument was that the consulates website clearly mentions that visa is not required if you are staying at a resort for a certain period of time but she would not listen a word. All she had to do was ask him to show where it is written and if that indeed was the case, she could have said it must be an error and I will have this corrected the next morning. Not a big deal. But the way she talks is so condescending and her English is not good so that makes it worse

Worse interaction ever. Staff is unwilling and unable to clarify any questions. The behavior is unacceptable and I would advise anyone to come with patience and a big bag of salt!! Staff unable even to give the official website details!! Unbelievable

Bad service. Staff are not friendly. Only one counter for each service despite of the long queue.Recommendations:- Arrive early. It took me 2 hours to certify two documents.- Bring cash. Credit or debit cards are not acceptable. Only cash.- Be patient. One simple transaction may involve more than one employee

I hope the employees of the consulate actually look to the reviews of what people are saying and improve their services.If they remain at such a bad level, they will lose BIG time, arrogance and pride are full with their employees. They need to be reprimanded and disciplined.Theres a lot of reviews that people are saying that they need to consider and improve themselves, we are in the 21st century and in 2021. Evolve you imbeciles and stop staying old fashioned.

I visited the Egyptian Consulate today and was very impressed by the curtesy and the swift service provided by the staff to all visitors.

The fact that this consulate represents a great country like Egypt is very depressing. The consulate must be profitable considering the size of the Egyptian community in Dubai (they charge AED 600 per passport) and Egypts position as an attractive tourist destination. However, the service is pathetic to say the least.

Very poor service.Some of the employees are just impolite and they dont give any kind of help.The place was hot with no air conditioning...it smells bad everywhere.Such a bad picture for a foreigner who wants to visit Egypt.

Service is very poor and slow 🐌, no social distancing 😷 Egyptian and non Egyptian are waiting outside for loooooong hours under burning sun shine 🤒 in 48° up 52° WITH NO SHADE like near by embassies of India and Pakistan who save their people by shade and online service with reasonable cost of services and to renew passport will cost 600 Dirhams and will take up to 3 months as per their information. Their land line will never answer your emergency cases.The only positive point from valuable and respectable Dubai police 👍 who are doing their best to help and direct people and to maintain social distancing guide people and offer help when needed.Unfortunately no private offices (مكاتب انهاء المعاملات ) 🏢 👎 will accept to deal with this consulte to finish your transaction even will charge you.

If I could give this place a negative 0% I would do so. The employees are recklessly disrespectful, insecure, lack people skills and EXTREMELY unprofessional.As a North American, I was appalled by the mistreatment I received. It appears the 2 men I tried to speak with were misogynist who had no respect for a womans speech. They are short tempered with people and have no people skills at all.One of the younger men tried to intimidate me, he was very combative and pretty much tried to call me a liar. When I confronted him, he tried to deflect and project his words on me. This is abusive narcissistic disorder in this work place. These are highly aggressive people. When I asked him why was I being treated with this level of disrespect, his response was; Really, why did you have to go there? He lacked empathy and saw nothing wrong with his mistreatment of others.Egypt is known for its hospitality and politeness. It is a country where you feel love, respect , warmth and friendliness. The people make you feel welcome to stay or visit frequently. However, these people who represent your country at this Dubai consulate is a poor reflection on your beautiful country. They are egotistical and highly arrogant.I was humiliated, insulted and treated with contempt and reproach. I visited the Egyptian Consulate several times in another country and the manager and staff were all respectful, helpful and polite.The manager of this Consulate in Dubai should not be in his position. He comes across as a cold hearted individual who lack patience with tourist. He did not even have the decency to patiently hear what I had to say on the matter, to offer me help or respectful suggestions to resolve my then situation.I was recommended by Immigration in Egypt to go to any consulate when travelling back to Egypt. I did what I was told. If this information was not correct, I should have been redirected in a respectful, patient and polite manner so I would know what to do next time, when preparing to travel to Egypt.If I did not know the genuine hospitality of The Egyptian people in general, I would have never wanted to visit this country or even recommend it again to other travelers.This place brought down the value of the professionalism in The United Emirates. They could learn some general public ethics from The Emirate officials.These employees are a disgrace and embarrassment to the honorable people of Egypt. In Egypt the officials are very polite and professional people. They are very kind to tourist of all different nationalities.I strongly suggest the officials of Egypt to evaluate this place because it can cause very negative tourist effect on your country; as a result of these ill mannered lack of good character people. I am finally just getting a chance to write this review after processing this bad experience some months ago.I left that building feeling confused, hurt and dehumanized. It was one of the most horrific experience I had ever had and was shock to have had it from employees of such a wonderful country.

Do they ever pick up the phone? Called over 30 times now on different days during their stated opening times...Update:So I got to the embassy, asked for visa of 3 months together with flight ticket, all fine. I pick up my passport, they only have me one month. Conclusion: no point of going to the embassy, much better to get visa on arrival

I arrived today at 8:35 and I was done around 8:45 with my visa application. The ticketing system works well and smoothly. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

My experience of Egyptian Consulate Dubai was excellent.I had just returned after getting visa,all staff whom I interact were help full.1st time I visited to enquire about documents for tourist visa,there are few Egyptian and Pakistani staff at help desk for any query and application form,they help with info and process.They accept Visa application from 8:30 to 12:30 from Sunday to Thursday.I arrived on Monday around 11 am with all documents They gave a token number and within 20 min got my number.The lady at the counter was fast , checked the document and told us to come back on Thursday between 2 pm to 3 pm.Today I went back to get the passport,asked th staff at help desk,he told to just go same counter no 3, counter was vacant,just gave the madam at counter the receipt and got the passport with visa.Super smooth proces if you have proper documents,no need to waste money with travel agents, Consulate is 3-4 min walk from Burjuman metro station .

Had a good experience today took the police clearance within half an hour..staff were very helpful and organised .

It seems like theres no one assigned to answer the phones as Ive been calling all week around 10 times a day with no response. I have a simple question that I would just like to confirm with the consulate without having to visit the physical location and wait hours.

Tried to issue a tourist visa for a foreign friend, they said to apply for security approval and it will take maximum 10-15 days. After going 5 times to check for the security approval status (cuz they never answer the phone so u have to go physically there to just ask about the approval), they finally gave me an answer after 27 days, and they just said your approval is denied .. any details? No .. may I know the reason? No .. any reference? No. And there is the very rude woman working there, cant speak even a single correct sentence in English, like she is not working in Dubai and representing Egypt!!. Start ask her questions and she will get mad at you. Unfortunately they are like brought same Egyptian government employees that are very lazy to help u at all and not even qualified to work there. Terrible experience.

No precautions during a pandemic

There is no professionalism at all, the way even to be dealt with is quite low, you go to stamp a paper and wait for an hour which doesnt make any sense, plus the guy that supposedly stands beside the windows deals with ppl as if hes the ruler of Dubai.. ugh.. egypt again!
