I have only positive things to share about this place. I was in an accident a few months back and had to have an operation which left me immobile and unable to do my 2 favourite things- yoga and running. The surgeon told me I could only swim front crawl (not very good at this, im a sinker) and cycle (not very good on 2 wheels either, im pretty wobbly) and do my physio sessions twice a week for the 1st 6 months post op. So i was forced to find something else that got my heart rate up, lifted my spirits and get my knee moving. My friend recommended the cycle classes at Platform so I gave it a try, like with all new activities when youve just had an operation i was pretty nervous but there was no need to be. Everyone was super kind, professional, motivating and helpful and within 1 class i was hooked! Im now a regular at Muhala, Megan and Cliffords classes and i love the different personalities and music tastes they throw in to keep it fresh and interesting and i never fail to leave Cliffords class in a better mood than i was in before! The platform, the people there, the routine and motivation its given me has been an instrumental part of my recovery- i cant recommend it enough, so id just like to say a big thank you to everyone there for the energy they put in every day. Keep it up :-)

I travelled 30 minutes this morning to get to a 7am class. Unfortunately I got stuck at the lights which meant I was 3 minutes late (actually about 1 minute but I went to the studio next door initially). So I was refused entry to the class. The woman explained this is their policy and she also just refused another girl for being 1 minute late.I understand being 5/10 minutes late to a class is disruptive and I would totally get if I wasnt allowed in then but 3 minutes? I have never heard of any other studio being so strict on this and giving NO exceptions, even 1 minute late, just seems crazy. It was a complete waste of time and definitely not how I wanted to start my week off.I have seen a few other people complain about this so it is not just me that thinks this isnt right. Its a shame because the trainers are good but the policies they have in place are just ridiculous.

The classes are good if you dont mind the tiny size of the studio. Some instructors are real stars (shout out to Lianna, Mish, Liris who i absolutely love) BUT – and thats a huge BUT – the booking is so absurdly ridiculous. You should know this before you buy a package with these guys. They release the class schedule every Wednesday (for Sunday to Wednesday the following week), every Thursday (for next Thursday), Friday (for next Friday) and Saturday (for next Saturday) at noon sharp(ish). So you have to set a reminder, be online, ready to book your classes at noon every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday just to book next weeks classes. And you have to do it at NOON SHARP. If you go in at 12.05pm, all the classes will be shown as Waiting List or just Full, and there goes your chances of getting in a class next week. It turns out, every account manager books for their own clients the minute the schedule is released, and clients who didnt ask their account person to book in advance for them will be left without a class or on a waiting list. So if youre not comfortable playing along and asking favors, you wont get a chance to get into the classes youve actually paid for. Mafia-style bookings in every sense of the word. This aspect of the studio really turns me off. While I enjoy the classes I doubt I will renew with them, booking alone is just too stressful. Also, if you give them your Whatsapp number, get ready to be harassed with offers, reminders, etc.. every day, sometimes even as late at 10.30pm. The admin side is really unprofessional, which is a shame because the instructors are really good.

Very unprofessional. They need to train their staff to share proper information instead of wasting people’s time. I called and asked if I could join a class at 815 and that I was new. The first question I was asked was if “I would pay for a package” then I was told I could join the class. I went all the way to the gym and was told I cant join the class because it is 8:15 and new joiners need to arrived 5 minutes before. When I told the staff member I should have been notified of this on the phone before I came all the way to the gym she said “we thought you would arrive early... these are our rules, I can book you for tomorrow”. Ridiculous waste of my time when I could have gone somewhere that is professional and has enough respect for their clients to give accurate information.
