We visited Tagine today and were quite happy with the experience. The restaurant has a superb design with beautiful decor giving it authentic Arabian flair. There was live music too, very soothing and relaxing. Staff was very friendly and waiting time for the dishes that we ordered was quite short. Overall atmosphere was definitely a winner. So if you are a couple looking for a romantic getaway or tourists seeking for a place with an exotic feel: go for it. Also, the place is very clean. A few minus points: I wouldnt advise to take small kids there (no kids menu, and a lot of real candles literally everywhere.) The food was good, but a few items were definitely overpriced.

Absolutely amazing experience ❤ its like an entering a magical Aladdins cave. The beautiful lanterns on the outside glimmer and sparkle at the entrance leading to the restaurant and you cannot help but feel excited. The interiors are beautiful and have a touch of elegance yet comfortable. The menu has a good selection but I felt that there should be a vegetarian option for a tagine. The service was excellent and our waiter came several times to the table to ask if everything was OK. The must try has to be the Kounafa! It was sublime and I could have had seconds easily! A must try place for those who like a very special relaxing evening in a classy setting. Thd temperature of the place is just right as well, and the feel is very romantic. Keep it up!

Not only i did not find my name on the booking, but also, 2 waiters missed on providing the right service : one of them did not provide enough cutlery for all the guests and the second one took my plate while i did not yet finish eating. Moreover, the staff must be careful when talking To each others and showing more professionalism as we heard one lady (short hair and fat) from the staff members saying lowdely a BAD word and thanks god we were the only persons who could understand her language. But that was really disappointing. Again the food is excellent, the atmosphere is fantastic. But as a regular guest i think something was missing the day we went..

Have been enough time to DUBAI, but never thought of such delicious Moroccan restaurant in Dubai. From setup to decoration, you just name it and you have it. I love the ambiance starting from the entrance all the way through the seating. area. The food selection is impeccable to say the least and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is perfect.Their service is top, the food is great, the music is best. Strongly Recommended!

Tagine is the best fine dining/Moroccan restaurant in UAE. When you enter the Hotel until you reach the restaurant is like going through time machine. When you enter the restaurant as if you have travelled to Morocco; the intirior, band, uniform are just beautiful. The food is outstanding and I recommend EVERYTHING specially the Lamb Shoulder.Service is fantastic and attentive. Thanks for looking after us during the Love day.

Visited on a Tuesday around 8:15 PM Evening without reservation and got a table right away but by 9:00 Pm all tables were full. The decor is Arabic/Moroccan with live Moroccan music played at a low note at different intervals.Services are very good and food is very tasty. The portions are small but they give you a welcome bread and olives plus lentils which can keep you full a bit before your main course.I tried one of the appetizers that came in so many different dishes(see lastPicture), then 2 tagines (sea food Tagine and Lamb tagine)Prices are fairly ok the fact that it is in a 5 star hotel location. we spent 506 Dirhams on all the above plus 2 bottles of sparkling water and a glass of wine

Expensive place but I love it! the waiters, the musician, the decor, the atmosphere .. really high standard. The tajines are awesome (I am dying for the lamb with honey sauce), The couscous royal is good as well even if I think it could be improved. Been there already 5 times, last time was for my grand father birthday and I did not advise the restaurant team in advance that it was his birthday, I just asked them once we were seated at the table if they could do a small thing at the end of the meal for my grandfather. The team said yes straight away and at the end of the meal all the restaurant team (receptionist, waiters, musicians) came at the table singing ( in 3 languages Arabic-English-French / we are french) with a complementary birthday cake! All my family was happy and pleased by this evening. Thanks to the all the team!

I have been here long time ago. It was bad....food wasnt good...staff was unprofessional..entertainment was not ok (better no entertainment). Since other restaurants have shut down in Dubai Im considering it another try.. However seeing the negative reviews and the 5 star local guide reviews to compensate, I have my doubt. How come the real customers review are all 1 or 2 star and the local guide reviews are all 5 star?? Looks like a paid review to me. Or some sort of barter, free food for a 5 star review.

We had a group Ramadan Iftar at Tagine, it was terrible. YES, the atmosphere is nice, the decor is great but both cannot satisfy a fasting person. The service during Ramadan was horrible. The food was not their usual best. But the prices were the usual high. I advise the management that unless they are ready to serve a full capacity restaurant at once during Iftar, it is not worth losing your reputation over it. I recall having much more pleasant experience outside the Ramadan period. The staff were like robots, not responsive and had a set process to follow. Awful experience.

As you walk through the doors you are transported back to time and place in Morocco. The food is delicious, capturing the flavors and essence of Morocco perfectly. We sampled harira (soup) and the flavors were fresh and light. A maze of Moroccan starters was next followed by my favorite, Pastila. It was crisp and balanced beautifully between the sweet and savoury. We ordered a seafood and a lamb Tajine with prunes plus cous cous. The cous cous was so light and fluffy- the best I have eaten here or in Morocco Completing the meal was their special desert that was like a pastila but inside was a creamy custard that just melted in your mouth. Of course no Moroccan meal is complete without mint tea.

Authentic Moroccan cuisine in a wonderful setting. I ordered for Zaalouk (Eggplant dish) as a starter, and Tagine (The way it is made in Marakech). Even though Zaalouk was not in the menu, the chef decided to make it. It was wonderful, maybe even better than the one I had in Marakech. The Tagine was excellent, the lamb was well cooked and soft as it must be. The presentation left nothing for chance either. All in all, a delightful experience at a top restaurant in Dubai. Pricey, but very dinar worth it.

Tagine:Been there at Ramadan Iftar 2019, I booked for around 25 folks from the office as a team Iftar.Location: great location near at Al Sofouh road near to JBRPrice: Above averageAmbient: is nice, little bit dim lighting , more suitable for romantic date.Seating: :( the seats were squeezed to each other and not applicable to move in and out. You should give more space to the guest to move!!Salad/ desert bar: was good with multiple options. The main dish: as Iftar concept at Tajin is based on shared main dish served at the table. So this should be the core of the Iftar, however it disappointed the majority :- main-dish served late.- serving time of any additional dish was very slow although the small number of restaurant guests.- the big fact is : the meat and chicken served in very big portions and it wasn’t look attractive or good. Should be served in a different way to be easy to be share and pick by a fork not my both hands :)Taste: I did like the cooking Moroccan taste .Note:When :Two guests doesn’t show up among 25 persons , its so shame to insist to charge me!!! Where is the bloody hospitality !!

I have been coming to tagine for 20 years, more so in the past when I use to live in dubai, this was my favorite restaurant in dubai, for the food, the atmosphere, the service, just a magical place. Last night it felt short in every ways, so disappointing. First they couldnt find my booking, then we were told to choose a table, the place looked like a party took place, it was a mess.
