We stayed here in June for two weeks. The only good thing about this apartment hotel is the location, near beach and restaurants/shops.but that’s it! The rooms are old and dirty.Im wondering why it’s classified with 4 stars ( Dubai standard is usually much higher)It should be completely renovated.The bathrooms are moldy!Then the receptionists are not really friendly!We asked for a hospital nearby (pcr test) and they told us , we could make the test in the hotel ( expensive for 4 persons )As we disagreed to this, they said , we should look for ourselves where we can make the test -it’s not their problem!never ever again!!!!

Another great place to stay with family and friends.We usually book our stay in a 3BH apartment at Roda Amwaj whenever its Ramadan season so we could take advantage of the shortened time at work. Perfect place if you and your friends enjoy the beach as you could go to watch the sunset and sunrise. Accessible to food and supermarkets too which is why we love the place. Somehow, the only thing thats kind of off is the time it takes to check-in. Other than that, the place is cool!

The hotel location is nice. The beach is just 5 minutes walk. Once you go down the hotel, you’ll find a lot of shops and restaurants.Inside the hotel, the rooms are nice. We booked a 3 bedroom apartment and the room sizes are very decent. The whole area is very pleasant. You’ll see that it is well-maintained. Everything looks and feels clean.The toilets have decent size as well. They are equipped with toiletries and bath towels.Kitchen is big as well. You will be able to cook and store food as they have stove and fridge. It is also clean and well-maintained.Staffs are nice and friendly. They are easy to talk to and if you call them, someone is always available to answer your call.Parking is decent. They have two basement floors to cater all the parking needs.

Good location but worst Receptionists ever! 2nd time and still the same problem. Aizada S. never smiled and it seemed she never enjoyed what shes doing; showed racism as well. Notified us with no gathering allowed tho were just 5 for a 3 bedroom but the other room was too loud! The bell boy Kumar was much better than the Receptionist. The current Receptionists should look for another job!

12 day family stay, the apartments are spacious but not very clean. they gave us an apartment on the 1st floor, I asked that it be changed to a higher floor for a better view and the noise of the swimming pools and the cries of children, we are promised that it will be done tomorrow when we were not even asked for info or room number for a return that we never got. No hot water when we arrived, no towel. We spend our time complaining. the smell of garbage on the landing that crosses the apartment as well as 2 cockroaches that we found in our kitchen. the pools are always full, you have to watch and wait for a deckchair. The balcony is large but nothing to enjoy it, no chair or table. We have been to Dubai before but the first time in this hotel, the location is great but I will not be staying here again. disappointed unlike other hotels around.

Checking in is horrendous, it took us almost 3 hours of waiting. So frustrating as we have a toddler with us. Same scenario with the other customers arrived before us. They upgraded us from 2Bedroom to 3Beds but the one they assigned for us was dirty and smelly. The glass window in the living room was so grubby, we even saw nail cuttings! Worst is you can’t stopped a toddler to touch everything! Anyways, took us a while to do the housekeeping ourselves, including mopping the floor to get rid of the smell. Luckily, we brought bottles of Isopropyl Alcohol with us. We can’t see any sign if the room was been sanitized at all!Electric kettle is broken with a nasty black residue inside (not sure what is it but it’s NOT a Limescale!)The bath showers has only HOT water in it. You have to shower quickly if you wouldn’t want to have a scalded skin afters. One shower head is broken, you have to hold it while showering!The kitchen drain and the masters bathroom sink was blocked too.We have to request toilet amenities, including shampoos, shower gels, hand towels, bath math, bathrobes, towels and slippers because it was NOT provided. It was a mistake coming to this place if it’s not because of my son’s friend family who were also guests we could have just gone home instead.

I came here multiple times.Wonderful service. Sometimes quick, sometimes slow as it gets crowded.Good amount of parking available alongside a spectacular view!Comfortable beds and relaxing living room. There is a balcony there, if you wanna watch the outside world instead of only what’s offered on TV.Also, because of its location, you have the beach which is nearby and a great amount of restaurants and cafés to walk in and enjoy your time. You can also walk around the area and enjoy what’s offered on the street or go to marina and enjoy it there.

Friday brunch done right with amazing food, delicious dessert, cozy pool along the beach, utterly polite staff. A big thanks to Mr. Ahmed, Chef, Reebca, Ganga and John. Family friendly, highly recommend ❤️

My name is Anvar ceo of a tourism agency. I have been here for 5 years now and i never seen a hotel which charges their own visitors to print a page in the reception. I got to speak with manager Muhammad Farruh and he claimed it’s hotel policy. I as a costumer i felt very disappointed and disgusted by this policy.Hopefully someone will look into it.We are here to make better less struggles. But apparently this hotel is bit differentThis shows how this hotel is cheap and in need for your 3.5 drh. Shame on you guys!

I booked on a busy Saturday afternoon, and from the reception, my family and I experienced a warm welcome by the staff.Sallam from the reception was just so amazing. He was efficient in any of our needs. It was a great experience too, since the location is really the best, with a nice view of the beach. We booked our Dhow cruise dinner in Marina and we walked for 5 mins to reach the meeting point for the cruise. We loved it! Special thanks to Sallam who is so respectful, professional and very accommodating. We will surely come back!!!!!

Im referring to samar restaurant roda amwaj suites , We had celebrated birthday and had lunch buffet, we really enjoyed specially the kids going to the pool, the staff are very friendly from the enquiry Mustafa had assisted me promptly then while going to the restaurant which the security does not allowed us to enter but Rebecca personally came in d parking to assist us shes really helpful, then while having lunch everybody is friendly and Ahmad is also helpful, actually all of them and the food is good, we had a good experience for sure will come back again

This place is fantastic for a staycation, very spacious and the view from our suite was absolutely breathtaking, close to all amenities and for those wild N out at night, you have bla bla beach club just next to the hotel…it’s absolutely worth it, check it out, roda amwaj

This is a great place, old but well maintained place with Great amenities for group travellers or families. Its close to the beach. Its a 7mins walk to the beach. Its a prime location with so many great stores, salons, restaurants and nice side attractions. The winter wonderland is also a great attraction... Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here

We went to Samar restaurant. Food was good. Staff was very friendly, specially Ms Rebecca and Mr Abbas were very hospitable. A few things need attention. Since its brunch so it should start atleast 12 if not 11.30. It actually started around 12.40 which is too late for a brunch. Secondly few breakfast items should also be added like omelette and bread. Thirdly, the outdoor seating needs some more cleaning. Overall it was a good experience and we will definitely go again.

Be careful with this company! They debited the full payment from the account, offered a housing option that did not match the description, or cancel it with a fine. We paid a fine in the amount of the first night, but we also cannot return the amount they took for the entire period of their stay, they ignore all letters and appeals.

We got two apartments and both the apartments had different views and honestly both were equally good. One looking Ain Dubai and the other opening to Marina Walk. The food spread in the breakfast is absolutely worth the money. The chefs there are very polite and happy to serve, a positive thing to start the day with. I missed 3 breakfasts and I feel bad about it. Everything we needed was equipped in our rooms/ apartment. Though cost of living is bit high in this locality, if you plan well you can experience many cuisines for less. There is Carrefour round the corner and a tram station right in the front. Ample car parking and what not! Value for money!

Weve been there for 9 days. Good location and pretty nice suites,but our suite looks like old one and uncomfortable, but anyway it was nice.Housekeeping was strange, they mostly had come at evening time and we kindly asked to xome till 2 p.m. But they often forgot about it.We got free parking for our car;)))I think we will come back to Roda.

Unfortunately hospitality is zero at this Hotel. Even if u book with them 100 times u will have no privilege instead they will make use of you. U have to beg them to clean the place and the cleaners are not trained at all after cleaning u will even see its more dirty. We stayed several time only because of the location as we wanted something close to the beach and shops. I dont advise anyone to stay there

This review is about Samar Restaurant which is part of Roda Amwaj Suites located @ Plaza Level, Mamsha Street, Jumeirah Beach Residence - The Walk – Dubai. The restaurant do not offer parking, so you need to look for suitable paid parking available. The restaurant is small. The receptionist was a Filipina don’t know how to deal with customers and it was clear she chooses to whom offer help and smile perhaps the same can be applied to the rest of the mixed staff mostly Egyptians as they serve with unhappy mood. Rotana they are known of good food quality and that is what we got, not much food, but with good taste and quality. The staff should learn how to coordinate with each other for the customer happiness. Prices are ok for the quality not for the variety and service. lucky to arrive on time and enjoy a good meal as they turned away a lot of customers as they were closing, no one mentioned that to us as well. some good swimming pools I think there were 2, very suitable to teen and kids while adults can enjoy good meals.

This place was definitely not worth my family vacation customer service was terrible and we kept hearing noises coming from the walls we even caught a cockroach not once but twice and the reason there’s only one showing is because the other managed to escape somewhere

Good property a bit old but still good. the rooms are massive and u must mention about a sea view during booking or else u will have to pay extra on arrival for sea view. the apartments on the 16th floor has their own private pool with the room which is fantastic

I tried to make reservation by calling the reservation department , i found out that Making a reservation through booking.com is cheaper.. I wonder .. Im a frequent and faithful client to roda amwaj suits in jbr.Obviously this doesnt count..Hopefully some administrator will read my comment and take an action..Its not fair to treat me just like first time visitor..Best regards

When travelling, finding accommodation is the most stressful part. This place was absolutely incredible I have no complaints. We stayed here after a terrible experience at the airport and it truly helped. Spacious place and each room had its own bathroom +toilet plus an additional toilet when you enter. Staff very respectful and was quick to assist when I needed help with the AC even though it was in the night. Beautiful view from all the rooms. Water replaced daily and the staff respected when we declined room cleaning. I left valuables, they came and cleaned and left all my valuables exactly how I left them. Right next to JBR walk and convenient entrance. Has a supermarket and spa accessible from inside the hotel! Truly an incredible experience and would recommend

Unfortunately very bad experience , I am staying in apartment where above level there are machine with very loudly sounds and usually some nights we cant sleep from this sound.Although I had several complaints , some times this loudly sounds repeated.

On arrival and throughout our stay the staff were very friendly. The apartment is very spacious especially if you have young children, there is everything you need. The facilities are good and the beach is at your doorstep. Rooms need some updating in decor but overall a pleasant stay.

The worst reception you will ever find in your life, I have tried to reserved a 2 bed room apartment and the first reception told me they dont have availability, and then I went to the other one he gave me an apartment then he tried hardly to rip me off to upgrade to the 3 bedroom apartment wow then I decided to leave because they have no attitude and no welcoming behavior wow

Very spacious apartment, we had an apartment with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen. The bedrooms are neat and comfortable and inviting - see the pictures hanging on the wall, but the living room lacks of something picturesque to make the room cozier, 2 or 3 pictures would definitely help. No details in the furniture originally. If that were changed, it would be perfect. Service is really good. People took care of our questions immediately and were very helpful.

I am very shocked with this terrible 😞 hotel. The customer service is very bad , the house keeping team is very slow at cleaning rooms and they didnt even give us the room we booked until 2 days later.

Dated room, small bathroom that smelled and no bum washer. They did fit one on request though. Also shower seal was gone so water leaked through onto the floor. Excellent gym with good mix of machines, free weights and boxing bag. Pool area was fairly good as well. Rooms need updated badly. Great location with all the food spots you need and located right on the beach. EDIT - THIS REVIEW IS FOR HOTEL, NOT THE SUITES.

Very bad service, i didn’t enjoy my stay there

Friendly staff. Good location. Spacious apartment. suitable for families. Room service was strange. Everyday we had to call and request something very basic (like towels !). Furniture is old. These small details can certainly make it a better place.

The facility itself is very hard to access the entrance as they have multiple gates with multiple towers as youll be walking through the parking in a very humid, hot, smokey, and inappropriate environment for the families even for adults.The furniture is very basic and as for value for money it should be at least upgraded 2 levels at least.Operator, housekeeping, and even the reception do not pick up calls during the night, i tired this many times during my 8 days stay.Pools are really not that good as almost the sun is bearly available, in addition to their relative small size. Also the availability of the towels was an issue. There were 3 pools one of them was closed and 2 were accessible.The location is super excellent, honestly what do you pay is like 90% because of the location only. Also all needed basic items from Supermarket, Pharmacy, many many restaurants are just meters away.

Went to the Samar restaurant in it ,the food, chef and staff were really good,at the same time I also had a bad experience from their parking security person,which they told me they have taken discipline action.

This was our first trip to Dubai, and in general, we did not know what to expect. We wanted a suite with two bedrooms so that our daughter could have her own room, and the Roda Amwaj did not disappoint. We had a great apartment: two en suite bedrooms, separate cloakroom, huge full kitchen, and an enormous living space with a dining area. We also had a dual aspect balcony offering views of the sea, beach, and Marina.The location is brilliant. The beach is a very short walk away, and there are numerous restaurants nearby. Access to the Metro is close if you want to go downtown.The service at the hotel is great, and the accommodation very clean.The suite rates are very good, we got our very generously sized apartment for the same price as one room in many nearby hotels.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and I highly recommended for families, and anyone else for that fact!

Amazing place! Booked a three bedroom sea view apartment and it was absolutely fabulous! The kitchen is big, functional, has a dishwasher and well stocked. The apartment had a washing machine which was very convenient. Moreover, one one side of the apartment youve got the amazing and happening The Walk area and the beach while youve got the tram station which takes you to jumeira lake towers on the opposite side!Amazing place, amazing location, nice decor, great staff! If we ever come back to Dubai.. will definitely stay here! !

Hello, we are still waiting for our security deposit back from February. We have emailed and called and yet you can not process a simple refund. Please be aware if you visit this hotel that they refund the hold they place on your credit card!!

I booked loft room for my family. The elevator is not working normally. We were in the elevator going up to our room. In the middle of the way around 20th floor, the elevator started falling down then go up many times (my wife was pregnant). It was miracle reaching our floor. I called the front desk and their response was SO COLD. Then, they informed me that they fixed it. At the same day, happened but this time the elevator couldnt reach our floor. So, I kept pushing all floors then it stopped 3 floors down of our floor and used the stairs.You are so lucky I didnt sue you.

It’s amazing place to live your vacation it has a great view and good room service too and also many restaurants is near. If anyone want to go to Dubai I would suggest this hotel to him/herBut bad thing on this hotel there is no restaurant inside it , also they didn’t answer to my call I’ve called them a lot but no answer that make me feel disappointed

Responsive and kind personal. Rooms are big and clean. Cousine is with high quality meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts). The beach is clean with fine golden sand. On the other hand, the rooms are very cold. Conditioning system is strong and there are no enough heaters to make room warmer.

The service on arrive wad good. Could have been a bit better by showing us to our room and also where the pool, restaurant etc were. Rooms are spacious and clean. Full kitchen appliances available. So far impressed

Spent 5 Nights at this place last week,Location is superb,one of the best place to stay in Dubai.I had 2 bedroom flat Rooms were good and big with all the required stuff in Kitchen .Room service was great.

Went to dubai with a group of 40 people and every one was 100% satisfied with there appartement and the service provided but the hotel would definitely visit / stay there again.

5 of us stayed here mid Sept 2017 and it was a fabulous. The apartment was huge, clean with so many facilities to make you feel at home, will definitely recommend and stay here again.Hotel is a ideal location with a very short distance to the beach and shops.

Great apartment with 3 ensuite bedrooms and large living room. 2 kids-friendly Pools with provided towels, many restaurants directly next to the apartment. Short walk to the beach. small shop around the corner for daily needs for breakfast. clean public beach just across the street with free clean toilets. 30min drive from airport with car/taxi.

Very bad hotel room was smelling when we walked in, we went around looking for other hotels and they called us to look at another room was still smelling we cancelled the hotel and booked Sofitel. Do not stay here spoilt my half day

These people insist to give the worst service ever. Cant you keep clean bed sheets ? If not then change them to clean. Clean your lobby, the lifts. Employ some respectful people. Or quit business and leave this work.If you change all staff and make full renovation then I still hate to come back

High cleanliness is maintained.

This is my first time to book a hotel in Dubai with so much regret and so excited to check- out! The facility is awful and the staff has ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE namely the Duty Manager- AIZADA SAGATBEKOVA, Front Desk receptionist- ABEGAIL ABERGONZADO and the so- called Front Office Manager- MOHAMED FAROUK! I don’t know what’s their hiring criteria but as a Recruiter, they are not suitable for their positions. The night was supposed to be a birthday and thanksgiving dinner, however, they charged us Aed 150/head for those who are coming inside the flat, mind you even the food delivery guys. So ridiculous and easy money right? Don’t know if the hotel is working well but maybe they need extra source. It is not clearly stated in their policy that they tried to justify and they could not give me a copy of what I have signed as I am pretty sure that it is not stipulated in that document. Anyhow, I paid and the manager could NOT even answer any single question which I’ve asked! Anyhow, thank you for spoiling our night! My daughter said the place is like a “Hell”. I trust reviews that’s why I am still wondering HOW they got the 8.3 rating????? They deserve less than ZERO!

Stayed here for 8 nights over the xmas & NYE period.good experience with the staff and prompt service.we were put up in the penthouse, the lights throughout the apartment was very poor, some didnt work at all and was a dim environment specially in evenings/nights.water was stopped in the busy morning period for 10-15 mins time, this was although resolved once raised.entry/exit thorugh car park is a major drawback even if you are only walking around.room sizes are excellent in the penthouse.issues are solvable if paid attention.

They have hardly 150 meter walk to the beach, 300 meter walk to marina walk, and recently developed Meras Island. Fantastic place for looking at sunset

It was so bad , today they took my bags and my things out before I do the check out .. I came to the room I was shocked , when I went to reception no one know anything then I find it down in the bag store of the hotel .. so bad I felt like a nightmare I thought someone take it and stole it.. and I was late for my flight also because of them .. I will never come back to this place they don’t respect you just take your things out without your permission !

The worst hotel i’ve ever been to in Dubai. I’ve lived here for almost 15 years and i’ve never dealt with such a terrible hotel manager & the staff are even worse. For anyone who’s trying to book the loft there or any stay, save your money and book somewhere else.

What a perfect spot it turned out to be. Receptionist Ms. Nancy is so nice and professional with offering alternative services. Nice cosy beds my kids and I loved it. Not cheap at all. I would recommend to any family looking for eas of mind.

One of my worst stays in Dubai. First of all we waited nearly 45 min to check in. The first thing we noticed when entering the room was the bad smell. We couldn’t go out of our room because they didn’t give us keys. I won’t recommend it to anyone.

I went to that hotel and i have to record my experince .. it was the worst hotel i ever been in all my life . There is no respect or any rules at all in this hotel . I think it managed by useless people .. cuz every one saying okey sir . But no one do what u want . They exactly do what they want . Starting from reception ,bil boys , security even lemo drivers for tge hotel .Finally i dont think i will be there again . Ever .

Nice place , clean, but very bad check out experince , dealing with the reciption guy to check out at 3pm , but they start calling before 12pm with different reciptionest asking to check out before 1pm with so rude language ( note i check in at 4 am)
