Visited the Dubai International convention recently for GITEX 2020.This was held in December which is specially conducted for startups.The regions premium technology event, stands as the only in-person, global tech event of 2020. Its a great opportunity for students, entrepreneurs to visit and make use of it.GITEX March-April 2021, is held for the biggest electronics show, to get the biggest offers.The easiest way for transport would be the world trade centre metro station, and then 2 mins walk.

A world class convention and exhibition center. A technologically advanced, well equipped premises. Venue for one of the prestigious conventions and exhibitions in the region.The space is gigantic with separate zones and huge halls for hosting various exhibitions or conventions at one time. There is a huge plaza behind the premises. The vicinity of hotels and a number of restaurants plus the metro station makes this place a high sought after venue for gatherings.Even during the pandemic a high level of sanitary standards have been followed.There is security available all round the clock. And very patient and courteous to provide knowledgeable guidance and advice.The venue and its surrounding premises are all very well provisioned for Wheel Chair access. Public toilets are a plenty and very well maintained.A worth visit to see this landmark venue either one is a tourist or business visitor or resident.Amazing experience especially during a huge conference the whole venue and the plaza becomes like a small city with people crisscrossing each others with big smiles and full of energy.

Attended GITEX 2020 at the DIC December 6-10, being the one of if not the first in person convention since Covid-19 the organizers did an excellent job and creating a safe and productive environment. This clearly shows that events of this type can continue with the right precautions and the future is bright especially here in the UAE.

Great infrastructure for various exhibitions. Well organized. Located centrally near the World Trade Center. Recently multistory car parking available across the road with connecting footbridge. This is convenient but expensive. Lots of hotels nearby to stay if you are an exhibitor.

Its a great place to visit and attend different exhibitions and events.The halls are spacious enough for attendees. It have enough washroom as well to everyone and its always very clean.In addition there are lots of restaurants and food stall to choose if you are already hungry.Its accessible thru the red line metro station, world trade station or you can take taxis on the area.

It is always a great opportunity where you can access all kinds of medical products, innovations, and services under one roof. It’s an ideal place for distributors to find all the supplies and materials at this exhibition. Lots of exhibitors from all over the world get an opportunity to meet with there prospective clients at this venue as well. You can be updated to whats happening around the world with technologies under one roof. A must visit!Very well organized. The entrance to the exhibition is Free! Please register online and you can print your “id” once you reach there!Bit of advice: please dont drive to the venue as parking can be difficult to find and expensive. You can either use the Metro or Taxis.

It was an organic products expo. An awesome expo with variety brands

ATM this year run very well. Great attendance. The facilities of the conference centre are excellent. Good sized halls and plenty of places to relax. I dont like the smoking area you have to walk through but otherwise an excellent centre. Public transport easy and given the popularity of this event its very well managed. Sometimes hard to work out where stands are so take a picture off the map shown below its easier to find where you need to go and does not seem to be online.

Dubai pulls off yet another amazing exhibition. Gulfood in person. Safety and social distancing maintained. Big aisles. Comfortable meeting and conference spaces. Free parking.The world will now follow #Gulfood

An amazing place for exhibitions. Loads of halls. Big wide spaces! Some decent coffee shops and restaurants. Plenty of places to sit and relax.However, parking is a very expensive proposition. Much more expensive that Excel (in London)! Best to take a transit or taxi to get there.

As always a perfect facility for large international events. You never feel that the logistics is running out despite the large number of attendees.

Building is a huge and good for exhibitions, but finding parking above 20 minutes

Problems with finding a place to alight and board on your limousine. Should have a dedicated area for that. Not everyone is a VIP or from the government to be able to use the DWTC dropoff/pickup zone. Apart from that, it is a world class expo venue.

I was here for GITEX2019. The convention center was easily accessible by train, taxi and car. And the center is well organized. And the halls are massive. I actually made my 10,000 steps walking from booth to booth daily. Well thought of layout as well. It is just in the middle of the business district.

Dubais world class Exhibition centers.... For most of the events

The convention center offer a wide variety of experience. Theres always an exhibit on something, construction, furniture and theres even a bargain sale of clothing and accessories in a nearby hall.There are restaurants and kiosk for food and drinks.The convention center is next to hotels and has metro access. It also has a big parking area across the street.

Good organisation and really much space. We stayed for 4 days im this convention center and enjoyed it a lot. A lot of restaurants around, perfect for lunch time. Many hotels close. I think its perfect for big meetings and seminars. Also everything is very clean and the really take car of everything.
