Incredible idea in an amazing location, next to Burj Al Arab. You will have to take the order from there, then head off to the beach with Burj Al Arab in sight if you want to take an incredible photo and enjoy the beach with something cold, yet different. The above layer is warm whilst the bottom layer is cold (As it is ice cream). The above layer is very sweet, to be frank, especially the pistachio flavour, in my opinion. However, I enjoyed all three flavours. It is a bit pricey, but it is worth trying, at least once. If you get the medium cup, it will be less sweet as there is more ice-cream to balance the taste. Also, the place looks wonderful to the eyes. It has a different vibe to it. It feels old yet new.Prices (as per my memory) 25 for the small, 45 for the medium (there’s no big)
For the taste I have to give five stars however it is expensive in comparison to the portion that you take and that why I have to put four stars . The shop is small and suitable only for takeaway and delivery. There is a problem with the parking as it is very difficult to find a parking. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful . The service is good also .
An overhyped place for Helva due to Instagram adverts. Visited the place and tried thier signature helva. Its fairly high priced for this semolina dessert. 25 for a smalledt cup you could ever imagine and 45 for a medium cup. No large size available.Tried the medium cup with pistachio which is at room temperature as per their service standards and the original which is served hot.Taste was decent.
Oh halva yeah halva Turkish Semolina Halva with ice cream..They day I went that had three choicesOriginal / Chocolate and pistachio I tried all three and it was great and amazing one another.Price was soo good and cost me AED25 for a small cup with all three taste filled and which made me full with that already and my friend took a original halva and it was AED19.Turkish tea is free and served as ur request small area to be seated and enjoy ur halva though it was a well organized compact shop and well maintained cleanliness. Some other Turkish products also available on the shop to take away. Must try taste in Dubai. Paid Parking is available around the shop area and as whole area is full with shops u can enjoy even u walk few meters.
Type: Turkish Halva shopPricing: HighAtmosphere: RelaxedLocation: EasyHygiene: Very goodFood Quality - OkayService: Very GoodOverall: Good, decent.Sells Turkish Halva made with Semolina using century old recipe and served hot with elastic vanilla ice cream to balance the hot taste. It is sold in 3 variants - Pistachio, Chocolate and Classic. I ordered all 3 and liked the taste of Classic.
Guys please go and tey this place out ..... The ice cream they do is AMAZING 😍
The staff service is bad. He looks at you from behind the glass and does not care to take the order from the customer. He must appreciate that the customer needs help, such as the handicapped, the elderly, or the injured and cannot enter the store.
I tried it for the first time and it was amazing. Highly recommended 👌
Sweet tooth alert!Pay attention. The new kid on the block is just great. This is a very small place for legendary halwa. They have only 3 types, classic, chocolate and pistachio. All good but pistachio is out of this world. They also have vanilla ice cream which balances the sweetness of halwa. And the ice cream itself is also awesome. The staff is polite and lovely, and on top of everything they also offer free Turkish coffee.Give it a try. You will not regret.
I have gone there a couple of times.Pros:- clean, delightful experience- fast service- Yummy helvasCons:- Parking can be a problem during rush hours- Over-priced ( Its alright for an occasional treat)(Just a suggestion: please bring down your prices for the small cup if youd like to cater to regular customers.)Overall, it is somewhere my husband and I would go every three months or so. Its like a treat or part of a cheat meal :)
Loved it.it was the first time I taste it and it was realy good.the guy at the shop was also very nice.
Tried it in Turkey.. and so happy they opened in Dubai 😋 such a delicious ice cream concept
Completely bad service, no communication at all. Been ignored,
Exxxxpensive! التكلفة عالية! We visit helvaci branch at istamboul, same product 6dirham there. Here at dubai 27 dirham, why yanni why ?? Even its not the same original taste...! I had my objection and spoken to shop manager but he doesnt understand arabi or english may be he doesnt want to understant! I will never come again!
I just met this sweet beauty like maybe 2 weeks ago. The name is Semolina Helva (classic). And I have been coming back for 4 times now. I love that I don’t feel guilty whenever I am eating this Turkey’s sweet delight as it is made of turkish ice cream and specially cooked semolina. Helvaci Ali has been serving turkish specialty sweets since 1900. At first I did not expect much, but I can say it is a 9/10 (i will not make it perfect, I’ll leave the 1 for others to decide 😉).
Best Semolina Halvaa one can find in UAE..Original was by far the yummiest
Very nice but very heavy too. Small size is better option. Pistachio very nice 😍 chocolate is heavy. Next time will try the plain one and update this review accordingly.Parking is avaliable and staff can come over to your car to take your order and payment.
Going to tried and take some Turkey sweetThe guy there was not professionalHe said cant try we do t have sponWhat!! I really surprise just left the shop
Semolina brown halwa with vanilla ice cream 👍🏻
Its really flavoured ice cream in different taste of traditional Turkish way of having ice creammany original flavour are there pistachio chocolate and semed.its severed with vanilla ice cream which give mix between hot and coldI like it speacilly chocolate
If youre a fan of helva, this is a brilliant choice. Both options with and without ice cream. It might be a Turkish favorite but both Pakistani and Indian sweet lovers will enjoy this equally. We loved it. My favorite is the Pistachio helva
Super delicious 🤤 reasonable price and quality🥰
Its a new little place. They serve only Turkish icream for the moment. Has tried the pistachio and the semolina. The place is worth trying. Although parking might be a bit of an issue.
Very tasty sweets different from anywhere else
Not bad. limited choice but yummy
Great ambiance and friendly staff..We tried the pistachio and classic flavours .. both were OK.. its quite expensive compared to taste and quantityWould recommend a one time visit .
Very good taste but not value for money. A bit overpriced. However i will come back from time to time
Decent place to try unique Turkish dessert
Thier turkish sweet is addictive
Good desert to be tasted ..but its too sweet that it taste lil bitter
Great taste. I tried the pistachio flavor but was a bit sweet could be a bit less. I would recommend to try at least once.
Great tasteeee i love it
5/5Today I’ve tried the pistachio , it was very tasty a layer of ice cream topped with warm pistachio semolina . Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻
Great dessert stop open late!
Best helva in combination with Turkish ice cream. I can only recommend, if you’re looking for an authentic Turkish dessert.
Great helva, great serviceMust try the helva with ice cream otherwise and entire cup of helva should be shared between two people to avoid getting overwhelmed.I had one cup with ice cream and all three flavours in the same cup!!
Its so delicious and I will comeback again.. Yummy Ice cream 🍨👍👌
It is good ice cream but so expensive! 94 AED for 2 cups! That’s 21€! Sorry but I will not come back again
The timing needs to be updated. I drove extra 20 minutes to just to try it and when I reached, the shop was closed. And there was no sign or note outside if it was closed for a few mins or for long.
Great taste but very overpriced
Best helva with ice cream! You wont find this taste anywhere else!
Great Turkish Sweet
Genius and gutsy halwa from Turkey 🇹🇷
Best place for semolina helva. Friendly staff, delicious Turkish Helva and Tea. Highly recommended 👍
The first time I had a great experience
Regular semolina Halva on top of ice cream. Expensive, as Price for small cup ranges AED 19-27, depending on flavor.Has relatively less sugar content. Liked it.
Pista flavour was amazing. 25dhs for a small cup, bit overpriced but its a great item to try.
They just have semolina (suji) helva...the original one is good. Worth a try but a bit expensive for mixed helva
Its sweet treat , its not amazing for what they charge for the little cup 27drh for a small cup that maybe has 4 bites with just an ok treat , I dont recomand it , you get better icecream more and cheaper
Wonderful texture and perfect hot-cold contrast
Original Turkish flavoursVery good Test 👍
Its smeed with ice cream
Best Turkish halva ever. And free Turkish coffee just after. This is a new restaurant; not the old Lokmat.
I Tried all the three flavours it was so nice .Thank you for being in Dubai and all the best .
Best combination!!!, Helva and ice cream,It is very tasty, I suggest you try it
Loved it must try....
New restaurant on Jumeirah road. Tried the banana flavor. Very impressive. Made to perfection. Beautiful interior + friendly staff
Yummy... special
Everything tastes great. My recommendation would be the Scarlet Fever Lokmas. Owner is very friendly, fast service, cool hangout place for coffee and desserts.
Tasty as expected but really expensive
The next level of lokmat!!! The concept is great, but the flavors arent great though. I hope they consider serving the old traditional lokmat as well.
Very expensive too much sugar
I had high expectations,I have tried the classics Ice cream (Average).I have tried also the Turkish Coffee with Mastic (Very bad experience, and it is too expensive).Very disappointed. Not as expected.
Very tasty and good quaility 😋
Average, didn’t like the taste much
