Recently, I took a ride by Tesla from my home to the Downtown area. The driver didnt have a change for 500 DHS, therefore, I offered to pay with 100 dollars, when he suggested that the rest of the money will remain on my account. So, on the same day after that, not more than two hours I have ordered ride again and expected that my payment will be done from the balance on my account. I was informed that there is no money there!!! Then, I decided to complain over the app, where I got reply nothing more but following, I quote: Should you wish to avoid instances like this going forward, we recommend adding a new payment method(credit card) to your account to get the exact amount deducted automatically. Appreciate your patience and understanding. I am living here for 5 years, Uber rides are my daily routines. I got to see everything, from angry and disrespectful drivers to those who dont shower and keep their appearances, including rude drivers with bad manners. It cost me a lot of nerves. I hope that one day their customer service will improve, but by that time Im in my new car. Voila!

Ive been using Uber for long time now.... i used it because it comfortable and safe.... my only issue is timing.... drivers tend to take your booking even they are 15 mins away! they dont give credit on the passengers waiting time but they will charge you more for the drivers waiting time. and booking in advance is a big NO for me.... I booked my ride in advance specially when i have doctors appointment and other planned trip... they just suck in coming on time....

Spoke to customer care about an uber eats coupon redemption issue. She gave me a solution that didnt make sense and when I called again to clarify she told me the exact same thing again. Ultimately, the solution she had suggested, as I expected, didnt work and I had to make peace with losing my money on the order. Apps>uber eats >uninstall

Ive used UBER eats and taxis for over 5 years now and i believe the service provided by most of their drivers is a 5 star one. Uber drivers in the UAE need a bit of training in customer service which many drivers lack.I wouldve love to see UAE UBER drivers working with confidence and belief in themselves to have the courage that will give them the guts to provide that excellent customer service to riders.I can volunteer to train UAE UBER drivers reach their goal in customer service and i can provide them with the skills they need to be competitive in their fields of work.

Uber eats doesnt deserve even 1 star. Really bad delivery, i waited for my delivery in ibn battuta mall and received a call at 10.11 pm from 042409503. Really rude guy. He literally fought with me. Seems to be Uber eats paid for my food. I dont recommend this again, Guy who called me dont even know how to respect their customers, I dont know how can I explain my experience with uber eats. That was my last order from them.

I absolutely love Uber, using it for private and business purposes, works just fine! It seems there are a lot of low-rating reviews by disgruntled taxi drivers and people who dont know how to use the app properly! You dont call Uber if any issues, simply log a ticket and they will resolve it pretty much instantly. Yes, I was overcharged a few times, always got refund/credit/thank you note. People, learn the technology, stop putting blame on Uber because of your ignorance.

When I travelled out of the country they took out money from my account multiple times even though I was not in the country using their services.On top of that they have a landline number that no one ever respond too.They have no helpline or email.The messages I’ve sent to them on twitter to complain they were responding at first but now the left me on read for two days without providing me with any valid solution or assistance.Till now I’ve not been able to get in touch with them yet they conveniently took out multiple payment le for no freaking reason

I booked for an Uber this morning, after waiting 10 minutes for the driver to reach and once I am walking to the car the driver decided to cancel the trip without any reason and drove away, I was charged AED 15 without any reason and I had to call another uber and wait for 15 minutes more.I got late for my work meeting just because the Uber driver decided to cancel the trip. ( There is no phone number to call and complain )

Did you know that Uber holds you old card details on record? Even after you removed them from your account? And when you ask them to disclose what other information about you they hold on record, they refuse to answer? And they simply delete your messages - thats how they deal with customers. And actually their customer service agents arent even real - its just an automated system with pre-set messages.

Worst customer service, did not even bother to read and understand what i am complaining about. I often use uber ride but lately things are quite difficult to comprehend from the customer side. I have this multiple promotion specifically the 30% (max 25AED) and the x2 flat 25AED discount which i get from referring someone.Upon booking a ride, there is a disclaimer when you have a multiple offer entered within your account saying On your next ride, well automatically apply the one that saves you the most. But it is not working on this condition.. I booked the ride and after checking my bill it is the 30% that was applied. i filled this complaint and they said the last promotion added will be the first to be applied (so what is the sense of your disclaimer then if youre the one to decide? whether which one to be applied and not by what is going to save most for the customer?)Its not done yet, i thought that i can already be able to use the flat 25AED discount on my account as the 30% discount for 5 rides on my account got expired last oct 19, 2019 then only to find out that they just recently added another 30% discount automatically on my uber account so the condition of the last promotion added will be the first to be applied and again will lose my chance in using the 2x 25AED flat discount.I did send another dispute regarding that and the customer service is just so poor that did not even bother to understand what i am crying about. They told me that i am not eligible on that promotion and only certain member can use it. I made a follow up response and asking How are they going to explain that it was already on my account and have also sent them the screenshot!? Also, it comes to show that your customer service did not even know how your system or application works. Dont you even know that when a certain code is not applicable, your system detects it and you will not be able to get that no matter how bad you wanted it?I am still waiting for your response i even responded a simple Hello just so you know that i have been waiting for your response and resolution for more than 24hrs now.

At 17:40 today one of the cars lexis white was blocking the road At King Salman road going from Mina Seyahi towards JBR and the driver didn’t want to move to the middle of the road since he is driving slow. After the bridge of the skydive he then went to the right while taking video with mobile in his left hand. Then he went right beside Trident Grand Residence in JBR. What kind of drivers is this?! Unfortunately didn’t have a chance to take the license plate but your company can check Whose that driver at that time in the are, it was almost 17:43. The worst drivers and how he can take video while driving and he was taking for me to show what that I got angry from him blocking the road!!!

Most of the times, the rides are with good and comfortable service and well behaved drivers, good job Uber. But Booked a ride yesterday, with a toddler ,elderly person and other members of the family. The driver named Rehan misbehaved and verbally abused me and cancelled the ride. Just for a reason that my 22 month old toddler was being playful and chirpy(but not troubling him in any way). #uber #shameIf you really want to prove you give great service to your customers then you have to take action against him.

Absolutely appalling behavior from some drivers. They accept a fare and then message to say that they are not going to show up and that I must cancel...yet I get charged for it. This morning two Uber drivers did not turn up for my husband and now he is late for work and has been charged. This is absolutely ridiculous. I have read all the past reviews posted here, mostly they are negative. But we have only used Uber in past 4 days for almost 10 times. All of the time the driver was on time, get on the destination on time and at a reasonable price and in a nicer car than regular taxi. Most of the drivers gave us recommendations on what we were looong for. So for me it doesnt matter how Mach they cost, If they get me there on time thats all I will be using.

How can a business that wouldn’t exist without GPS get it so horribly wrong every time!Today I pre-booked for 7.55 am - my driver took 35 minutes to arrive due to navigation issues1. Really upset about this Uber buying Careem disaster. Careem was so so much better than Uber service. Never had one issue with them. Uber was always late, cancelling after you wait for them 10 minutes, making me late constantly for meetings, rude drivers, and a nightmare to get reimbursed for fees they charged customers for their mistakes. After taking Careem every day, 2x a day for over a year, never had ANY of these issues, not even once. I really hope they use Careem model and ditch their own. I am gold with Careem and it allows you to give your points to buy meals for poor children. I really hope this continues after the merge

Uber is so unprofessional here in the UAE the customer service is a disaster! I hired a driver to take my elderly mother and auntie to the airport, I chose Uber because I didn’t want them to wait as they are advanced in age and with pain in hips, hands, joints etc! Omg when the driver arrived he looked at us and said: RISH ONE NOT ALLOWED and drove off. So I waited thinking he was going to go make a U turn or god knows! But he never came back so seeing it was getting late and didn’t want these two ladies to be running in the airport as they physically cannot do it, I took a regular taxi... Now I have a message saying I have to pay a fee?? I don’t even know what the hell happened. I’ve emailed Uber but no response, I’ve called but they don’t answer the phone OBVIOUSLY ON PURPOSE because I’m sure they don’t even know how to handle the amount of complaints. I swear the costumer service in this country is an absolute disaster. I wish I could open a school of customer service, and if the vendor fails the class then he or she simply does not open a business as he or she, isn’t fit for the business world. Yesterday I received a SMS with promo code MARCH40UAE for the Uber eats and I believe many others received as well,, I place my order in Uber eats and applied the promo code I surprised app pop up with the message Oops the promo code which you entered its expired which was valid till 25th midnight. Further I contact the customer support of Uber eats they said there is some error on the system which they cant resolve and I have to register a complaint on the Uber app which I did with screen shot of SMS and app message which I did on the app, this morning I received a mail saying that I applied the promo code after its expired which makes me felt Uber uae sending a scam SMS to customers and I have enclosed the SMS and screen shot.. Very disappointing...

Driver forgot about me at the petrol station. I was left there, by myself, without my personal belongings. Later he answered my phone which was inside his car and returned all my belongings but demanded 75 dirhams even though it was his fault.I raised a complained and they said it was basically my fault since I didn’t contact them right away (keep in mind my phone was inside his car). Uber costs cheaper price for transportation from and to the airport, all airport taxi asks for more expensive price, I think this is one of the reasons that in some countries they were fighting against uber. Uber should take the first rank for transportation. I remember in my last visit to Egypt, uber asked for only 150 Egyptian pound where the airport trans. asked for 300. That is double the price of Uber.

Uber UAE is beyond terrible. If I could give them a 0 star rating I would. The only place where they hire incompetent people to work for them and I don’t mean the drivers or delivery partners for Uber eats. I mean people running the show here and creating decisions. No where does it follow Uber guidelines abroad. I use Uber all the time when on my trips and I travel around 7-9 trips per month but never will I ever use Uber or Uber eats in Dubai again. Terrible! I ordered an uber, it said 3 mins, after 10 mins of waiting as the car wasnt moving, i call the driver who cancels the call 3 times. On my app it showed he was there and picked me up. Which he didnt so i cancelled it and got charged for the pick up so emailed the complaint as i was never picked up and was stranded for over half an hour. UBER say that the pick up and drop off according to their app did happen and wont be refunding it. This sounds like stealing to me. I ended up taking a bus and then a normal cab which was cheaper than what they charged for something i didnt use!

I ordered food through uber eats and i waited for 1.5 hour and I didn’t get anything and no one from uber contacted me to explain why is this delay, when i called they told me their is no partner drivers to bring my food. “The app was showing slight delay and kept adding 5 min delay for the whole duration till I called. “ first estimated time was 20 min. Further, they took AED64 and retuned AED59. So, it seems they took their delivery charge even though nothing was delivered and they promised they will not charge anything when i called them. My car broke down on a national holiday at 7.30 am. The roads are empty from impz to umm suqeim 2. It takes me 15 minutes on a normal day to reach the destination. I took an uber and checked the fare before selecting the lowest one. It showed between 30-40aed which is understandable given the distance. They charged me 61 aed for a 15 minute drive and the the driver was slow as well on an empty road. Really uber? Ive been riding uber since more than 3 yrs now. I am aware of the price range in morning compared to afternoon and evening. And the driver was just 2 minutes away from the pick up location.Careem is better than you. Raise your standards and customer service. You have robotic answers and no problem solving skill.

Worst experience ever!they overcharged me 3.5 times more than the fare that was shown to me at the time of booking!ive emailed support 6 times in the last 5 weeks and all they say is that somebody is looking into it and will get back to me shortly!!!they also blocked me from sending support messages a couple if times!! I booked an uber at 6 am going to the airport its 6:15 and the driver didnt show up. dont know what to do Im late, Im afraid to cancel my ride so they will charge me. and they never give you back your money. this is unprofessional. this app should be delete it.

Last ride I did was on February 12 and cost me 35 aed, I paid by card and I got a receipt. Today I was going to order Uber again, BUT Uber told me that I have a due payment from my last trip on February 13! It was 60 aed! I never ordered Uber on February 13 in a first place! So Uber didnt allow me to order a car today. My Dears, someone is lying in your company! Thank God my card is blocked right now so they couldnt withdraw payment from my card for so-called due payment for the ride I NEVER made!

My last experiences with Uber in Dubai were disasters. The drivers hardly spoke English AND did not know how to use their navigators. They got lost, and still charged you for that....and the driver will ask you to give him a rating of 5 stars.For new years eve, our daughter used Uber, and we got charged AED 800!I liked it using Uber before, but now it jus does not make sense to pay more for worse.

Awful!!!! If the lowest score was -100, I would have given it to Uber Dubai! I booked a cab today to go to the airport Dubai - Houston, and the driver never showed up - he could not find a place and then HE, the driver cancelled the ride, so my entire family missed the flight, resulting in wasting 6000 USD worth tickets...and what you think? Uber sent ME a bill of 25+ dirhams for cancelling the ride! How can Uber even dare to send me a bill for cancellation - the program shows WHO cancelled it...Does Uber take a responsibility for making ME AND MY FAMILY MISS international flight?!!!

The worst service ever .. be careful guys .. the driver passed in-front of me and he didn’t stop .. then i saw him in the map .. he went far away (like 30 mnts away from me) i called him 5 times and he never answered .. i spent around 45 minutes waiting for him with no luck .. i canceled the trip and they put the fail on my because canceled the trip after 5 minutes of the driver’s assignment ! I toke another driver .. i told him my story .. he told me that the most drivers use both (careem and uber) and mybe that drivers has a careem passengers where he will drop him then he will come back to you !! Because the drivers know that no one will listen to your complain and no one will answer your calls !!I hate uber in UAE .. i used it in so many countries with no issues .. but in Dubai their service is very very bad !

Too commercial, a trip from Bur Dubai to near Dunes hotel apartment in Qusais was driven through Sharjah, which was extra charged with Sharjah emirate entering surcharge of AED 20. When raised a complaint, they are trying to justify on Uber’s route selection policy.Why two destinations within Dubai emirate has to be passed through Sharjah???

I am so glad with uber service, but I wish they can add kids-friendly rides, and customized cars in which there are on-ride cameras to watch our kids inside the car when they are riding with uber.

The worst customer service.I placed an order for UBER to go to the Airport. It never came. When I decided to cancel, it prompted me that it will charge for the drivers time about 18 UAE Dhs which I accepted, to find out later that I was charged for the whole trip. I spent an hour trying to call their number (as per website), it rings and no one answers. It is not the 1st time. Shifting to Careem with a hope of getting better serviced.No more UBER for me. It is the worse service.

I just had very bad experience with their driver and his car registered under # L29132.He is very rude even when I said will complain to UBER and Dubai RTA he says GO AHEAD!! I have this chat saved if UBER are serious and want to take an action but really doubt they will contact me... such a bad attitude not even deserved to be in Dubai!

I wish they had a ZERO star option. I use UBER in many countries and Im generally happy. Dubai is a major exception. Drivers cancel on you and then youre charged. This is very common.Yesterday I requested a trip to the airport and the driver never came despite the app saying 2 minutes. Whats worse, the app showed that I was in fact on my way. I kept texting and calling the driver but he never replied. I had to take a taxi to catch my flight. I got charged for the trip to the airport by uber anyway. The map showed that the driver went to another location (Mamzar Beach) before actually going to the aiport. It seems he took some passengers for cash and then continued the trip to the airport to charge my card. Despite waiting for twenty minutes before taking the cab, I arrived in the airport 15 minutes before the uber I was supposedly riding, which confirms the detour.Finally uber costs more than taxis in Dubai.

Completely unprofessional. Uber just wants to make money and not bothered of customer satisfaction. They dont answer the calls on their contact number mentioned on their web-page. Please avoid taking Uber!! Better to take normal RTA cabs and may be careem if you dont have a choice. Very poor expereince.

Horrible service. I used Uber in Costa Rica and I didnt have any problem . In Dubai is miserable, the drivers dont find the locations and when I called him he told me cancel the order after I wait 15 minutes for him. And he was very rude talking to me. This is not acceptable, they did good in Abu Dhabi banning them. I will make sure to complain in municipality about their service , the phone call was recorded .

After 3 month using Uber: The good :- App is easy to use and give you the exact timing your driver will be around.- Geo localisation so pick up are easier and you can follow your driver arrival on the map.- No Cash needed- Overall clean cars and pleasant drivers- Decent pricesThe BAD:- Uber VIP, Select, Black or X are is my eyes the same! I tried it all and didnt see any significant changes. Even most of time the drivers of UberX are better than some VIP or Select drivers. So for me there is no clear difference between premium and X options and I end up always using X because they are unable to provide a clear and real premium service even if I was ready to pay for it.- Us customers are rated on /5 by the driver... and its absolutely a weird way to deal with customers. That there is a way to identify a customer who is creating problem or excessive waiting time why not, but that you feel judge on your courtesy or I dont know what I find it quite intrusive. Especially that some drivers are not very fair. My rating is reaching 5 but still one day a driver gave me like a 1 or 2 for no reasons .... that shut down my average .... A big NO for me.- NOW THE BIGEST PROBLEM: They may charge you even if your driver didnt show up or dont find your pick up location. If for any reason the trip is cancelled they always assume you canceled it because you change your mind about the ride while the 99 % of the time its simply because your driver didnt show up at the pick up location. So when you cancel because drive dont show up or driver cancel because he couldnt find you they will automatically CHARGE YOU the course you didnt done. And then you have to get the refund process which is very boring.It happened to me 1 time and I have been refund but obviously seem like many there in their reviews didnt succeed to get a refund. Everybody know how boring is to have to claim back money using a customer service.Uber shouldnt charge NOTHING unless you step into the Uber Car!- Finally I wish they had ladies drivers !!! Ladies customers would feel at their ease and in compete security. Especially in a muslim country this should be A MUST.
