Worst customer experience! Endless loop, not performing some services in the center doesn’t make sense (like transferring the account) , I had to do it online which is a bad experience as well, with no means to follow up. Even their call center is an auto answering machine with endless loop not able to talk to a human being to solve the issue !

Incredibly talentless company! Do not move into the buildings where this organization is, otherwise you will curse the day you contacted them. To begin with, on a wooden site you will be asked 100 stupid questions, starting with nationality and ending with your personal data. Then the site gives an error with your apartment number and at the end simply says that the error is on the server. But the cherry on the cake is their incredible employees who know less than you do when you ask them something and look with displeasure that you came to them at all. A robot with meaningless information will give you special pleasure when you are sent to call support.

No option to speak to an agent from their IVR and their offices hours are from 8 to 3:30, a time where most of us are unavailble due to our work commitments. Way to go Empower... Worst customer service to the worst service in Dubai. Avoid this service as much as possible they will rob you clean. And on top of the millions they rob everyday they cant even hire someone to answer the phone, their menu just wastes your time because whatever selection you press it will tell you to visit their useless website.But the staff at this branch are very good, the security is extremely helpful and kind and Mohamed Farraj as well.PLEASE NOTE: any office or house with Empower means youre oblidged to pay up to thousands every month even if you dont use the AC and even if no one lives in the flat which you own.

Cant reach customer service at all, was few times on the line waiting around 30 minutes and every time my call is skipped by other their side.If you want to sort out all the issues ASAP dont waist your time trying to reach them, visit their office directly as at the place I received prompt assistance .

I would agree with the other reviewers here. The customer service agent was really bad and rude. Gerald does not have the right words on how to deal with his customer. I was trying to explain on how I understand the bill shown on my account but the way he speak was impatient way. I just wonder who is the customer between us.

Terrible service. I tried to reach customer service for several hours. My AC got disconnected in the middle of July and the Empower system was saying that my services are now connected. No one knows what they are doing there, I had to suffer in the immense July heat without AC because my provider happened to be Empower. Extremely overpriced bills too.

One star is a lot. Besides the huge bills for nothing, the customer service for this branch is extremely bad. This lady called Afaf is so rude and unhelpful that you are wondering if you actually did something wrong to her in a previous life and now is payback time. She is not even willing to listen to the issue you are presenting, she simply sends you online or to another colleague so she can peacefully talk and laugh on the phone. Thankfully her colleague Amna is the opposite and she makes an effort to sort out your problem.

I had a complicated situation with my security deposit refund, and these 5 stars go to a person who assisted me - Customer Service employee Mrs.Mouna, who was assisting me at Business Bay office. The process of refund should be really reconsidered by the Senior management, as it is against the customers. I was lucky that Mrs.Mouna assisted me there on the spot, otherwise I would be really struggling since I have to leave the country earlier than they would have prepared the cheque (3 weeks!).

The worst service ever after they increased the monthly bill by 200% the quality is very bad lo cooling expect at the first hours of the day between 3am till 9 am but during the day and the evening time the performance is really bad. BTW the customer service is useless and they careless about anything you sayMy bill for a studio 470 AED for one month and no way to even know why this amount !!?

I find their customer service to be quite disappointing. Very few staff in their office and short working hours, they really dont try to assist people having any challenges with their account. Theyll try to push everyone to do everything online but theyre online platform is far from sufficient... what should be very simple tasks becomes so complicated with Empower.

Be prepared to pay a lot for nothing. Ive had empower AC in my last building for 3 years and I can tell you my monthly bills were always the same regardless of the seasons. Being a cabin crew I only stayed in my flat 2-3 days per week, ac was off when I was away, but every month my bill was around 700-800 dhs. On the top of that the coolest temperature what the ac reach was 24 celsius and that did not changed even after I had several service done during the years. The whole company is a HUGE Money PIT....

Worst customer service & call center I’ve ever witnessed, and what’s with the paid photocopy machine. Can’t they just scan the docs! I got charged AED5 thats insane lolSo if you staying in one bedroom apartment be ready to pay AED140 as minimum charges even without using the AC.It took 2 hours to cancel my previous account, make new account transfer the security deposit then activate new account.What a shame.

Worst customer experience in UAE. Unfrendly service, short attention schedule . The fares are really high, basic rate is unfair 310 dhs for 1 bedroom apartment with no consumption and even is not enough because they need to charge 1 dhs per photocopy, no mention is not good for environment.Definitely the personal in Business Bay office needs better training because seems like they dont know the process and they need completely help from someone else by phone. Taking in consideration the short service schedule it would be necessary to have options for services online and more friendly with the environment free use of paper and more functional web services for all your customers.Finally it is really clear that empower company dont care about all the bad experiences and reviews.

It is extremely unfair, that a re-connection charge of Dirhams 1050 is imposed if one misses paying a bill! Its understandable if someone would miss paying and the bill is huge amount thats accumulated over a period of time, but in my case, my bill was around Dh. 300, and my services was cut and I had to pay a heavy some of 1050 for re-connection! for people who do not earn big salaries, thats almost 20% of their monthly salary to reconnect such a thing! Empower needs to re-evaluate their re-connection fee and be reasonable, as an example, if someone missed paying and their bill is less than Dh. 500, then, there should be a very logical and reasonable re-connection fee, and not get that person to pay Dh. 1050! Even DEWA doesnt charge this crazy fee, their re-connection fee is only Dh. 100 as far as Im aware. This is extremely upsetting!

Extremely rude staff, I went to speak with a male customer service agent to request of closing the account and he made me feel so small and stupid and arrogantly said I had to contact my buyer of the property first and have him register before I could close, this is absolutely nonsense and I told him he was rude and his reply was I am a man this is how i speak, oh so men don’t learn ettiequte it’s just females. I requested to be served by a female since he was incapable to deal with people the female agent was extremely helpful and closed the account for me with a friendly manner. Missing on monthly bills is so common especially if you are super busy with your work. Missed out on one payment of Empower and they literally disconnected with reconnection charges of AED 1050 and you have no options other than paying to them to get your connection back.Im not against reconnection charges or penalties but it should be digestible.. Like AED 1050 like really?????

I cant find any service even worse than this branch. from their attitudes to the customers and towards their working efficiency. You have to prepare yourself from hours waiting for their service even there is only few people in the office. besides, be alert to the documents they required, they would not tell exact documents list to you one time. when you bring the one they request and come back to them, they may ask one new things which they will not tell you at the very beginning. i spent years in Dubai, this is the place i would never want to come back again. really really BAD service at all.

Edit Feb 2020 to add latest experience of Empower and their utter incompetence. Im moving to a new premise and with all of the Dubai smart e services which in my experience are just easier methods to pay fines to the government - I thought I could just add my new premise to my existing account. How foolish could I be to assume this. Instead I had to go to the office with 15 pages of copies of required documents and spend 2 hours sat in an Empower office with dozens of others during working days only sunday to thursday and closing at 3.30pm so people are forced to take time off work. Another Dubai all is not it seems with over one hundred 1 star google reviews and NOTHING is done to change it as the company has a monopoly and customers dont have a choice here.customer service number is automated and no option to speak to a person. The options on the automated service doesnt have an option to fit the enquiry (their system says my chiller is connected but its not in the apartment). Now I have to waste my day to go to an office and stand in a queue with other people who shouldnt have to be there. just another pathetic modern company who talk about technology and award winning but cant even get a phone line answered. no wonder people are leaving

Empower are the biggest thieves in Dubai, I paid and still hot in my room in the middle of summer they didnt turn it on. They gave no notice before switching it off. And btw in winters when you close the AC, they still charge you, why? Because no one can do anything to them. They feel empowered and theyre very dictatorial. Horrible customer service btw. Im amazed how they got a 2 star! It should be 1 star or no star, it should be considered a scam place. They need to shut it down! Its stealing everyones pockets. How can this be allowed?????

Worst company in the world, cut the service without calling first , my french bulldog was in the apartment and this breed had problems breathing; now they tell me on the phone that the cutting penalty is 1050 DH, no wonder they dont call before they cut the service, to get this money back, cheap, not professional, uselss, DEWA does an awesome job without the need for AC companies, I have tried all these companies and Empower is the Worst by all means, I am moving out after my contract is over in this apartment as long as they have Empower handling the building
