DGHR is located in the 2nd floor of the new building of The Rulers Court opposite Dubai Museum.DGHR established under Decree no. 31 of 2009 issued by HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai is tasked with directing the efforts for updating government human resources and ensuring coherence between human resources programmes and initiatives and the emirate’s strategic objectives and priorities in line with Dubai Strategic Plan 2015. Its work involves management and support of human resources at the strategic level by developing the legal and organizational structure of government human resources, updating human resources practices and leading and planning the processes of building national capabilities.

Dubai Government Human Resource Department, which is well known as DGHR, is the adjacent building to Depart of Finance (DOF). The entrance to DGHR is just opposite to the entrance of Dubai Museum in Al Mina area. Close to Dubai Abra Station and pretty much walkable distance to Al Ghubaiba bus station and Metro station (I guess it is within 2KM radius).
