Rented a car from them back in 2018 and it was not as smooth or quick as expected. The location of this outlet is to say the least difficult to find. Hope they use an AC by now because back in June 2018 the employees were using just a ventilator. The car did the job, the price was high.

Rental prices are different. Abu Dhabi Is much cheaper than Dubai. Same cars but too much difference in prices. for a big company.??!!

The service at the office is good and the person in charge is helpfull. Yet Thrifty policies are ridiculous, they charge you extra money through extra management fees.I DO NOT RECOMMEND Thrifty in Dubai.

Recommend to avoid this counter, they will not check the car at the check in but will take 30mn at the check out to try to find scratches.I couldnt believe that at some point they were passing their fingers over the car to try to feel scratch hidden by dust.Being a client for over 2 years, I really felt disrespected and will think twice before renting here again.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!!Worst car rental experience Ive ever had from start to finish.Car was more beat up than Mike Tyson. Almost 100000km on the clock, over 100 scratches on the check in report, broke down with a week, service light on for the entire duration, incorrectly charged extra for petrol as the car was 7/8 when I finally left becuase it was sat with AC on full for 30mins.When checking the car back in I had to walk 10 minutes in 50° and wait while they inspected the car.Price was 2,500 AED for 33 days. Around 1,200 more than I pay now.Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere selfdrive.ae are much better.

Very bad expirence for car rent and custmer sirvice.. the car i had is crola 2015 the car brokdown when i refill the fule . The engine not start. I called them but no seriouse action taken i try .. and after some it work ao after some ours stop again.. by my experince i checked the battary its liquid refill type i dont know why the put this type and it looked old may by 2 years.. finaly no one pay for my day which was broken finaly i called the airport branshe the employr told me sorry i have another client so i said ok ok you can go...so ugly ... my recommendation is dont rent from them.

The worst customer experience Ive ever had!Customer experience begins with a reliable car and good customer service. I was stuck in a faulty Thrifty VW Passat for 2 hours because it failed to start, and being asked by Thrifty to wait on the roadside till a recovery crew arrived! Ofcourse, I refused and asked for a replacement car which was grudgingly offered but only if i accepted all repair costs for a faulty car!! Thrifty staff were more concerned with making their company happy, than ensuring my customer experience. Of all the car rentals Ive dealt with in Dubai, theirs was the worst Ive ever experienced! Buyers Beware!

Called up call center, sent an email and had to find number for reservations after calling again only for them to tell me the price im looking at on the internet isnt valid. They can change the price every day and even though Im looking at the price online its not the price they will give me.

International license is required, mine turned out to be expired, yes, the fool himself, that he did not check, generally thought that there are enough Russian ones, But the fact that for canceling the reservation they will charge me a fine 3 days out of 5 !!! Well, ok if it is one day, like delivery of the car, preparation, etc., but what to charge for 3 days ??? I will never take it here again.

Stupid Indian. We asked to transfer the deposit from the old booking to the new one. We didn’t have time to extend the car, so I had to first hand it over, then book it again (again, because of their stupid system). At first, this guy nodded and said sir, asked to pay fines and highway bills, etc. in order to transfer the deposit to a new reservation after that. We paid, but the matter did not budge. Suddenly, his Indian mind failed and it turned out that this was impossible. And in general, he wont give us a car because they are already closing (we negotiated with him for an hour). Zbs. And the bail did not transfer and there are no cars yet and for some reason they paid extra 300 dichras
