I hired a car (courtesy of Al Tayer Motors) as my car was in repair on Nov 10th 2020. I was given a Ford Figo Sedan. It had over 75k miles on it, smelling of smoke and steering wheel would veer to the left. The seats were wet from a recent cleaning. I took the car and signed the contract and left a 3,000 aed deposit (debit card).I used the car for almost 24 hours before I was notified my car had been repaired. I returned the car. No issues with damage, salik or rta fines etc. According to the agreement with national I would have to wait 30 days for my deposit.I frequently use global car rental companies like thrifty and sixt in the past who always returned my deposit after the sign off in good faith, regardless of what was stated in their agreements. What I dont understand is why would this company hold on to my deposit for so long.Eventually after a lot of phone calls/ emails and chasing around I managed to get my refund a full 7 DAYS after the 30 day period. They breached their own contract. All I got was a feeble apology.

Within 2 hours he came Frome Dubai to khorfakkan for breakdown service ...I m happy ..

Credit Card issues. Stay away from here.

This particular branch of National (Alamo) is very risky and it seems their strategy is to get you when you return the car.I hired a Ford Edge for 2 months and the chap who checked the vehicle complained about dust on the seats! He then pointed out the tiniest scratches which most rental companies regard as normal wear and tear. After complaining to him that hes being too picky and trying to rip me off he backed off.After getting me to sign the return doc he didnt sign it himself. I then had to insist he also signed it and give me a copy in order to ensure he did not retrospectively make any changes. Very frustrating and this shouldnt be the way you remember your rental experience. I wont be using National again and as an elite member of their Emerald club, I will be notifying head office of this situation.

We rented a car with Alamo (National Car) for 5 days (23/6 - 28/6.2017) with a voucher from a german travel agency. As our flight was early in the morning, we decided to return the car the day before after 4,5 days. When we got our Statement from Mastercard, we were charged with AED 416,45 (Euro 101,42) for returning the car too late. Perhaps they are not able to count to five. We made a reclamation to National Car and also to Mastercard. Now it is more then 1 Month ago and a lot of E-Mails were sent to National Car, but nothing happens.We still are waiting for our Money. Please note, that at Dubai Airport are so many Car rental Companies, but dont use Alamo ( National Car).

The worst possible company to deal with .. was deducted about 750 dirhams for the fracture shown in the picture (I do not know if it was me or another tenant), but they seem to exploit their customers.The worst ..be careful !! They charged my credit card 750 AED as the shown image (obviously could not know if that was me or another one)
