Fast is probably the last thing you can expect from here. Picking up was easy and cheap but I had to wait 35 minutes for someone to check and process the car return. He then went to help someone who came after me before finishing with my return. When confronted that I was going to miss my flight because of the ridiculous wait time for a final receipt, the associate even gave me an attitude as to why I couldn’t just wait. I’ve had terrible of car rental service but this is the most inconsiderate service I’ve ever received.

There should be negative stars here. Okay lets make this even a better review. So we have returned the car a month ago. Guess What! I billed almost 3,000AED additional for the mileage use. Wherein, the rent of the car is only 1,300? Its equivalent to 2 months rent. AGAIN DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. I will continue to spread this experience because nobody should be victims of this. Now the collections department is threatening with legal actions. I am a social media specialist i will make sure this important info spreads like a virus, for a very bad experience here.I should have read these reviews first.... now i have a car from them... yes worst customer service ever.... despite proper communication with them due to delayed payment. I have requested Oman Insurance Company for a replacement car under my motor claim. They directed me to this rent a car. But after going through all the reviews here it really scared me to go with this rent a car. And my biggest concern is that none have responded to any of the issues/reviews here. I think the company should better work on the satisfication of their customers to gain the trust and confidence of the customer to do transaction with them.I also see many FAKE 5 star reviews here.

I rented a car from Abu Dhabi WTC branch for two days and informed the sales guy that I will return the car in Dubai Airport branch and I agreed to pay 150 AED extra, although I dont think its fair.When I reached the airport I found out that their airport branch is closed!!??? I called the numbers provided on a piece of paper and they told me that airport branches are closed due to COVID19 situation and only Al Qouz branch is open 😳 thats like 45 minutes drive at least !!Why didnt the employee in Abu Dhabi inform me about the situation when I told him that I will return it to Dubai airport branch??? and what made the situation even worse is the impolite replies I got from their employee (AbuDhabi guy) who insisted that he didnt do anything wrong and that I will have to pay for the parking fees and that its not their responsibility !! Seriously???I asked them to send their driver to pick the car as Im not driving to Alqouz, but they had no drivers to pick up the car either!!!Unfortunately, I had to pay for the parking to get the car out, but I will get the parking fees deducted from the bill and I will take this issue to the Consumer Protection department at DED.Dont blame your bad customer service on COVID19.

Bad service, lot of hidden charges, they change the rental amount every 3 months, cars are pathetic service provided by staff is pathetic, one of the staff blocked by number for following upon on refund. no one answers the call in Dubai branch.Please think twice before renting out car for monthly basis.

Had a great experience the staff went beyond their line of duty since I forgot to book a baby seat for my child but they provided me one without any additional cost .They made my stay in Dubai a moment to remember will always cherish the memories .Will stick with them for future rentals

Not good company at all. The person who receives the return car was checking if the car step tire is inflated when I returned it after one day of rent only and if the AC is working. He was looking for any thing just to fine me eventually he couldnt find anything. My advise dont risk of giving them your credit card, they might surprise you with extra charges.

I always rent from international reputable chains. Because of new year night, all good reputable companies were sold out and I had to rent from fastcar at Dubai airport as we were traveling from US to celebrate new year night in Dubai. After almost one month of returning car, my visa been charged for additional around hundred US dollars and I have not received my deposit of approx 400 US dollars after almost one and half month of returning car. Is there any consumer protection in Dubai? I will request the owner to please look into his mal-practices and refund my deposit.if anybody knows any consumer protection agency in Dubai, please share to save others from inconvenience.

I am Very happy customer with Fast Rent A Car all the time. Ive read several comments regarding security but some people just dont understand what is PRE AUTH and what is PURCHASE. If you know the difference of this 2 then you will not complain about Returning of money. How can they return a security Deposit which is Blocked and they did not take. It is in your account only.Tip: Check your monthly Bill if the amount they Blocked is there: For sure it wont be.I will always comeback to Fast Rent A car. :)

One advice if you rented and returned the car pay them all outstanding before leaving and never let them deduct from the deposit because you will be surprised by the hidden charges few days later. For example if gas isnt the same level when returned you will be charge on top of the gas 20%!! Be careful of dealing with them as I retuned back the car with no issues at all and they kept the 1000 Dirhams authorized on my credit card to check for traffic violations of any. 20 minutes later they sent me an email claiming they found a “fresh paint spot” on the car that requires them to send it to their work shop for estimate. I called them more than 40 times for one hour with no reply at all; or they hang up on me. A paint spot that requires sending it to work shop would’ve been easily spotted upon returning the car. Be careful.

I had to ask my bank to block my credit card. moreover the staff is really vicious unhealthy cheater and liar in its totality! Major rip-off. They (in my case a very unpleasant Asian woman) constantly was trying to confuse me, lied about fees, charged more than the contract states and when you are back home they charge your credit card again with no explanation or reason just to scam you even more. This is criminal and fraud. I have an investigation running with the platform provider where I booked it to get my overcharge back.Hopefully the UAE police will start investigating this business based on fraud.Do not book here, I repeat, do not book here if you want your travels to start horrible and end horrible. I promise you will regret. See other feedback here - It cannot be worse.

Sad to think that the previous user most probably got swindled as well for the same damage. If you still decide to go with them, be sure to take out adequate damage collison insurance, as you will 100% need it!

What a crap company. They used to be good last year now they are so bad. Went to pick up a car that I had booked at Dubai airport. The car was not ready and was told to wait for nearly 2 hours. When I called a couple of days later to speak to the manager someone called Nasir I was told he was unavailable and in the back ground I heard someone with a stern voice saying there not interested and to say hes not there. Obviously the manager did not want to speak. I have also come to know many people now complaining as the owner has no money and the insurance has not been paid for a year and all staff not been paid for months. Obviously company is on verge of bankruptcy and is making customers suffer. DONT USE THIS COMPANY. Especially of your European. They dont care about you.

I wouldt even give it the one star if i had the option. The whole company is useless. They have so many different departments and none know the operations of the other. They will expect you to run around and attempt to contact them all individually if you have a problem you want to resolve. Probably a tactic to keep you running around till you get fed up. You wont get any call backs, forget about getting the deposit back, they dont respond to emails, if you lose the keys you wont get a replacement car for days and definitely no reimbursement for the time you have no access to a car.AVOID THIS PLACE

They will charge for there parking spot and the fuel even if you returned it full.This the one and only time I will rent from them.

For an airport in the city of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid its a shame to have this company.absolutely criminals.I paid in full in advance and after I came back home they charged my credit card 4 times without any invoice and they dont answer.they put an scratch on cars under the bumper that you wont see and when you want to return the car they will blame it on you.

Nearly killed us. Did not file the NoC paperwork for entering Oman, so our car was blocked and cut out on a roundabout amongst fast moving lorries. We then had to push the car down the road.Impossible to get in contact with anybody from FastCar on the phone, only non-English speakers. Nightmare company.And then, when they replaced that car with the one we actually ordered, it came absolutely stinking, with full ashtrays and horrendous stains on the rear seats.Customer services department then ignore you if you raise this issues.Lots of other companies out there to choose from, so why bother with these?

I paid them 1000 UAE for violations insurance, I returned the car safely, with 1 violation of parking 150 UAE, they told me your insurance will be returned the violation will be discounted from it,now 3 weeks nothing! I called them too many times, no response!

Absolutely awful service. Gave me an extremely old car with only lap belts for a nine seater. We have hired child seats for a 3 and 6 year old. They told me that they had, took the money and on the day they gave me two baby seats, one of which was broken, neither of which fit in the seat belts of the car.Then when we explained they were broken they told me they had no child seats and these were all they had. That nobody in the UAE puts children in child seats and it is the law!! Which is obviously not true. He said they had no need for child seats so I asked why they were selling them and he said he didnt know I would have to source one myself.After waiting an hour for this to be confirmed when I had my whole family waiting we ended up leaving with one seat for the three year old and nothing for the other child and then had to pay for more parking to even get out as they had taken so long that they didnt cover.The next day someone called me to replace the car, as they knew how awful the car was!! They then said they would refund the money of the extra driver and the two cars seats and gave us a better car. That was two months ago. I STILL HAVE RECEIVED NO REFUND!!After seven phone calls over the following weeks I kept being told it was in my account but just pending. After four weeks I was then told that if I had not received maybe I should check with my bank but that actually it may not have gone through because of thirty dirhams of Salik. As they realised they had not put it through. Four weeks later I call it still has not gone through they have taken off more money and as they never seem to have any supervisor or management there when I ring I have to wait every time for someone to call me the next day. It is a Thursday why is no one there??!!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Worst rent a car company service. Faced an issue yet again with them. If you rent a car with them be sure to check every nick or dot or scratch in every in every single inch of the car. Also they expect you to check the bottom of the car as per the staff working there it is your duty n responsibility to check even the bottom of the car however you want. RUBBISH!! The worst rent a car company I ever saw.... I didnt check their reviews before renting the car from them... thats a big mistake ... I been using their service for more than a year and when I went to return the car , they made me wait in the hot sun with my daughter for more than a hour , since they are doing the inspection ... and once the manager comes with a cigarette in his mouth said that they are going to deduct 200 AED from me for a missing wheel cap which is been missing when they handover the car...After all the formalities , Im still waiting for more than a month to get my advance money (aed 1360) which I paid, to be refund from them.. When I called the company and spoke to the account manager (HATIM) , he said its transferred two days back (which is not true) ... when I asked him he hang up the phone on me..TERRIBLE SERVICE .....IM DONE ...NO MORE RETURNING BACK

At the end of December 2019 I rented a simple and the cheapest car they had and it was the first in the list they had in the brochure they showed us (ie barker).The price is very good compared to other car rental agencies.All is well, so far I pay them, my meter keeps a guarantee from my DEBT card and this is where my problem begins !!!!!When I handed over the car, they checked it, they told me everything was ok and you will get the money of your guarantee in a few days, and instead I find in my account that not only was the guarantee not returned to me but they took me another 50 times small amounts for 50 euros not to understand I guess or not to give importance !!!!!Conclusion AWAY AWAY WITH NOTHING BECAUSE YOU WILL PRESS HER LIKE ME

This is the worst company !!!!! for car rental in Terminal 1. If you want to have spoiled nerves, mood and lost time, then contact them !!!. I had a car booked through the easy cars service, but the manager of this fast cara for some reason did not fit my international license, I think they just gave my car, and the drivers license was an excuse. I had to take the car to eurocars, their drivers license came up. As a result, nerves were spoiled, and the fate of the rent was not known.

Eventually they have a system from what I saw and in the reviews of the others we do not return to anyone the guarantee that we pass from the cards when you rent the car.
