We booked the car 2 weeks in advance but for the car took longer than expected and we were coming from long flight in the night. The office was filled with frustrated families who came from long flight. Only one staff were available.

We have booked a car one day before arrival and they took a deposit only to discover that there is no car and simply they will send an email with the issue and some rubbish talk about how they will send a car to hotel THE NExt DAY. We were not the only customers with the same problem, there were a queue of ppl with same problems.

Humiliating!!! Never ever againg !!! We booked our car, it was supposed to be ready at 1:00 am, the office in the airport was closed so we were forced to go to the car park. There was a cue of like 8 people in front of us, so we waited . The staff was so slow, the people waited minimum 30 minutes by them and another 30 minutes to get the car, which wasn’t the one which was booked. The cars were not available, there were brought from somewhere. After 4 hour waiting they told our they don’t have car for us. My kids were so tired so we made them bed from our luggage on dirty ground. No apologies from them!!! So you fly with Emirates to have best service and you end like homeless in car park sleeping on the ground . No thank you !!!

It was the worst experience in my life. After 7 Hours flight i had to wait almost 3 hours in the Airport Garage till they brought me the car and it wasnt clean from inside. I would never ever rent a car from Europcar or recommend it to anyone

Most terrible car rental company I have ever used. Booked car 3 weeks in advance and car wasn’t ready when I arrived. Have me interim car and supposed to swap in next 48h. None wasn’t contacting me when I start calling they been redirecting me from once place to another. At the end they tried to cheat on damage which wasn’t there. Horrible. Stay away as far as you can.

They take a heavy deposit which is supposed to be refunded after 1 month. Well, it has been 2 months and I am still waiting. However, they are very quick to charge you the parking fines and bridge tolls. BEWARE!!

I rented a car through them in Dec 2020 and only after I rented the car, I read the reviews and was very concerned that I may get ripped off!Honestly the car was clean, got paperwork processed on time and reception was ok as well. To make sure I don’t get charged for any money unnecessarily, as per advice from the reviews, I made sure the car was returned clean and confronted the staff with reviews and reminded them that I expect no issues when I leave as I have returned the car in such clean state. It’s been almost 2 months and no issues.The 3 stars is because I rented a Nissan and they gave me a saloon Hyundai claiming it was an upgrade, but the performance of the car was pathetic

If you don’t care about customer service, this is the right place to rent a car. I rented the car, the car had a flat tire from the get go, they just put enough air to get me out of the door, i took it to repair the tire, the shop won’t do it because it has been repaired at the same spot, installed the spare tire and lost the tire pressure monitor system, called 3 emergency numbers for three days and no answer, called the office and no answers. Literally no answers, I have got charged some charges which were for traffic violations. But some were strange I asked them at the office when returning the car to give me a printout of the charges and the violations with explanation, they can’t do it. You just have yo trust them. Coming from the United States or any European country you would be disappointed, but I stayed a month in the UAE and customer service sucked pretty much everywhere you go; that is why I gave two stars else it would’ve been only one star.

They never returned our security deposit to us, and its been 3 months. We returned the car in perfect shape and were told we would get it in 21 days. It has definitely been more than that. They dont answer phone calls or emails.

We have rented a Kia carnival with no main issuesThe only problem was the baby capsule which had no base in the car, they only wrap it around with the seat belt which is dangerousMake sure you check the car very well before you take it as they will check it thouroughly when you return it to them for any scratches

STAY AWAY. If I could rate this company a 0 star it would be that. Firstly made a booking in the UK to collect a car, when I got to the company in dubai they then advised they did not have my car which I had booked and had to wait over 1 hour for a car. Worse company in my whole life. Beware! Lack of customer service!

We rented a full size suv for the forth time. Waiting time to pick up the vehicle was much better then the previous years but still took 20 minutes. Travel across the boarder to Oman is not possible with Europcar which was a big disappointment and forced us to change or holiday plans. Other providers do offer this service. Make sure you check for every little damage and stain inside and outside the car when you pick it up.

I am a proud Europcar Privilege Executive member with over 40 rental days and I can honestly say that this is worse service I have received from a Europcar branch. It took over 1hr 30mins to get the car initially, the car was in a poor state and it has taken over 1 week (and still not heard anything from head office) to get an invoice and an explanation on why they overcharged me. Im very sad to have to write this as I consistently get a great service from Europcar across the UK & Europe.PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM HERE.

If I could I would give 0 stars. We rented a Kia Carnival from 4-7 Dec 2019 from EuropcarDXB. The vehicle was handed over to us with a filthy and stinking interior. Seats and carpets were stained. Plastics scratched. Car has in no condition for rental. We have rented vehicles from Europcar in other countries and have always been very happy with the service and standard of vehicles. We will not be using Europcar DXB again.

When I arrived I had to wait more than one hour in queue to sign papers. Supposed to be picked up at 7.30, the car was only available at 10.00... When I returned the car to the airport, the Europcar lounge was dirty as hell. Service got to be improved.

Very bad experience. If got a fine during a rental dont pay it as they will still double charge you for it and then acting dumb like we are the one who payed for it despite a very obvious proof of payment. Avoid at all cost...

Got my car with only 1/4 of a tank of fuel when I had booked full to full . I have rented cars across the world , however this was ghe filthiest car I have ever seen . Half drank bottles of water under the front seats , back seats and front seats all stained . This was the first time I have used Europcar and my last . Should have read the reviews first .

Very bad experience. Uncooperative staff.I reserved a car with infant seat (paid for it) but still they didnt give it claiming that it isnt available at the moment and I can find another company to rent a car with infant seat!. I spent 90 minutes just to get the car (without the seat).Definitely not renting nor recommending Europcar Dubai ever.

Absolutely the most dishonest car rental ever. They deducted Aed2400 from my card without first discussing it with me. Then, when they finally answered the phone, they told me after the car was damaged. I returned the car 3 weeks ago!!! 3 weeks ago!!!!!

Its a trap, a fraud, just STAY AWAY of it! Ive booked a car a month before my arrival and pre-paid all the fees, however when Ive arrived they told me no car available, and they will send the car to my hotel within few hours, Ive accepted their offer, but unfortunately they called me after 5 days telling me car is available. Plus contact them by phone is very difficult, and they just dont care, until time writing this review they didnt refund the payment and no reply to my emails. Its just a trap so stay away of it and get a car from another agency.

This is the worst car company in the world, basically a scam company they charged me a DHS1000 as a deposit for a 1 day car rent and then claimed that I have traffic tickets worth DHS650 so they took the DHS1000 and didnt refund me yet. it has been almost 2 months now

Renting a Car was very difficult with the lack of English skills of the employees. When returning the Car I was very surprised to be charged over 200$ for a miniscule scratch on a hub cap (which i am sure is not from me). This even though I had purchased the full coverage insurance before. Europcar just gave me trouble while I was there and basically ruined my vacation there. Extremely disappointing.

Quite slow service, it took me 30 minutes to rent a car for the first time. The office in the airport hooks does not rent, you have to go to the office for parking, it turns out that the europcar system on the website or in the application is not necessarily synchronized with that at the airport, you book in the application and they get the email they print and only when you arrive they assume you reservation, if you make changes to the reservation even a week before picking up, they will not know anything about the topic in the office .... even if you pay for rent :)As for the car, I got a new car but in addition to the formalities in the office took 30 minutes, I waited for them to clean the car after the previous rental, car inspection very fast, without marking the damaged lamp and bumper but after my intervention the corrections were made quickly - I advise you to watch it carefully car, take photos and record a video. Fuel policy full - full and I got a car from 1/8 tank, there is no option to give back the cancer with the same amount and finally I gave the car back from half the tank. On the plus side, the car passed, 3 minutes but it was 4:30 in the morning.

The pick-up and drop-off was fairly quick and the counter is located at the airport so there is no shuttle to wait.We had a model in the chosen category (please note that the car you see in the photo is not necessarily the one you will have on site, read the whole description carefully).Having no credit card but a simple debit card, we had to leave a deposit of 600 € (2500 Aed) which was returned to us after about a month in its entirety.

Flee at all costs. Exceptional reception, overbooking of vehicles, waiting for more than an hour after 7 hours of flight and finally for nothing because my vehicle had been rented to someone else. A shame especially that my reservation was confirmed and that before my arrival in Dubai it had been reconfirmed to me by whatsapp. We found ourselves 4 French clients in the same situation. At 2 oclock in the morning to find myself without a car thank you Europcar I am not ready to forget it !!!

They give me a model of the older generation without even warning me while on the reservation there is the picture of the new. Booking made via Booking. The pick-up site at the airport indicated on the reservation required us to go from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1. We took the bus shuttle. Once there, the employees wanted to send us back to Terminal 1! Categorical refusal on our part. An employee transferred the vehicle, it took almost an hour. For the rest, correct delivery.

The young Indian caused problems when returning the vehicle, when I got it, he went through it roughly when he played it back, he checked it so extremely and found a couple of points and unfortunately caused stress, I rented it from Sixt for years was never a problem, prefers to go to Sixt, you can save yourself all the stress.

For my part, I came across 1 unpleasant person (Khalid A.), who did not want to give me my car rental already booked on the internet because I had a debit card and not a credit card.I had previously taken my precautions to know sent a message to EUROPCAR DUBAI who told me that EUROPCAR DUBAI accepted debit cards against a deposit of 2,500 AED (620 €) to be paid on the spot.After having refused a French customer in front of me for his debit card, Mr. Khalid A. wanted to do the same with me. I then explained to him that EUROPCAR DUBAI confirmed to me that if for a deposit. He then replied Impossible. So I showed him the proof and he told me no, this message comes from EUROPCAR FRANCE. I told him not looked carefully at the address it is written DUBAI.He was planning to let me down with my reservation already made.I insisted and he asked his boss who confirmed the truth of the words to him. I want to say that his boss was sitting next to him and was not reacting from the flow.I think that EUROPCAR DUBAI does not hesitate to swindle customers who have debit cards and who have already booked, which is of course shameful.The deposit was refunded 1 month later.The car was in dirty condition and smelled of cigarettes.In short, in the future I will no longer book with them.

STOP!!!!!Do not rent from Europcar Dubai.I booked on the internet and one day before my departure, Europcar told me that I will surely not have a car ...I arrive and I wait 2 hours in the agency inside the airport.Already the rented car is not the good one (as for the others besides)Agency in reduced staff so very long wait in the airport and in the agency of reception of the car.They do not take GOLD because they write debit and not credit on it.They take 600 € deposit except that it is not an impression BUT a direct levy.I learn on my return to France that Europcar will put 45 days to make 600 €.70 days later I still have not recovered the agency.
